PC Gamer UKA puzzle game that plays like Portal and does everything else like Ed Wood. Enthusiastic, but it's not high-art. [Dec 2009, p.93]
-
The first impressions of this game are really good, but after a few minutes it already starts to get boring. The surveillance system O.S.C.A.R. is not really helpful. Messages like “Ashley, there is a problem” or “Ashley, the elevator doesn’t work” are simply useless. This game is nothing for a player who likes action games.
-
Twin Sector is a game or you love or hate, there is no middle way. But if we are part of the first category, the satisfaction of having solved a puzzle and the obsessive desire to move forward are sufficient incentives to shut one eye on the various flaws that are hidden in the game.
-
As you have probably guessed by now, I don't care for Twin Sector. And I think I'm even more aggravated because, at its heart, the game actually does have quite a bit of potential.
-
This dull physics-based puzzle game is neither charming nor exciting, and most importantly, it isn't fun.
-
At around fifteen hours of crashing, poorly delivered cutscenes, unnecessarily thorny and intricate puzzles, not forgetting a complete lack of atmosphere and immersion, you'll find yourself asking that question a lot if you do decide to give it a go.
-
PC PowerPlayBeing unable to execute the obvious solution to a problem because of poor design and implementation is simply inexcusable. [Mar 2010, p.70]
