Best game i've ever played in my life. I just loved the fantasy setting, dark and full of evil. It represent the real society very well, it's a deep psicological game, because each character, mission or event has a story full of sadness and happiness, just like the real world.

I have invested over 1,000+ hours with my 4th play-thorough behind me. This game is the greatest video game EVER made and it is the standard by which all games in the future are judged. Even now over 3 years since it's release it is STILL breaking records and making other gaming studios wither and die as they realize that they will either have to up the ante or close their doors as they will not be able to compete with CD Project Red. Oh BTW; Cyberpunk 2077 is right around the corner and expect more of the same for the beloved company that gave us the best video game ever; The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt. Expand

Graphics are amazing, so is the story. DLCs are very good, especially Hearts of Stone

Easily the best game I played and I think it's gonna stay like that a while.
It tells a great story fulfilled with great characters, has a massive open world that you can explore and do side quests witch don't feel rushed and are always fun to do.
The only bad thing about this game is that you might not like any other games after you beat it

This creation of the developers, who miraculously managed to make this "masterpiece", received the approval of the players only thanks to the world thought out for them and the characters that already existed. Disgusting combat system, mediocre graphics, a lot of problems on release. A strange exception from the whole range of those games that they made before and after (Cyberpunk confirms this)

Go to a cave and a werewolf may only appear after sunset. Go to the same cave during the day and it will be completely empty and you can loot the interesting items within. Too often its easy for developers to artificially insist on blocks to prevent getting rewards without fighting the monster. This is the first game which sticks to the law. If you can exploit the world, you should be able to get your reward. This is just one of the many examples of how this world has been finely crafted. Even simple side quests have a level of emotional investment that make them interesting. Its the little threads, the extra attention which has made this probably one of the most memorable games in recent times. A true landmark for this age on how current technology can be leveraged for entertainment. This is second only to the world of GTA 5. In some cases, it may be even better. The combat has been improved as well. It is a lot more responsive. It can be as hard as you want it to be. For veterans I suggest atleast the blood and broken bones. It makes you care enough to read the beastiary and prepare for the encounters ahead. It makes you care about weaknesses. This is the true way to play the witcher 3. No other game has had such deep combat with an addictive and immersive world.
On the negatives, the removal of a storage system, limitations on skills, lack of consistency with movement (Why not go the extra distance and add animations for picking up objects ..given there is delays in changing direction) and random physics bugs of rag doll objects are annoying, yet minor issues when compared to everything this game gets right.
Sometimes, its good to look over the few negatives and enjoy the spectacle and get immersed in an adventure that has been lovingly crafted. DO it with the witcher 3 and pay attention to the details to truly enjoy this game.

I liked Dragon Age: Inquisition and every entry in the Elder Scrolls setting as other examples of open world western RPGs. I think Morrowind is still one of my top 5 games of all time. But the plain and simple truth of it is, The Witcher 3 is just better.

This game is unreal. If you vote this game down because of graphics, you're a tool. The graphics are not only phenomenal, there's literally NOTHING better out there on such a huge scale. This game deserves a straight trip right into the RPG hall of fame. Maybe the video game hall of fame. I think it might be the best game I've played since the turn of the millennium, and that's not hyperbole.

Loving it so far. Although technically an Open World game, the main storyline flows quite well without most of the flaws of your typical open world game, it feels more like a linear main storyline with side quests (which is probably a good thing as it gives the designers a greater ability to make an engaging main storyline). The graphics are incredible, the detail on some of the armor especially the chain mail is mind-boggling. My only complaint so far is the looting system, it's sometimes annoying to get into a position where you loot an item, I often end up activating a torch or candle instead of looting the item because I'm not exactly in the right position, they could have done that better. But overall an awesome game so far. A word of warning though, there is no way to change the main character's looks or voice so if you don't like Geralt that might put you off buying this game. Expand

Even though I'm from Poland, I was always approaching The Witcher series with a distance - I considered the gameplay of the first one lacking, and the second one was a little too limited and short for my taste, but I very much liked it anyway, but not as much as Skyrim for instance.

And then this one comes, right after I finally got my copy of GTA V, for which I waited a lot. I installed Wild Hunt just to check it out, with intention for it to wait until I'm done with completing at least the plot in Rockstar's newest masterpiece. Yeah, right.

Witcher 3 is THE most immersive game I've ever played. You can find stuff to annoy you within this game, like a lot of people are trying to, but don't do that to yourself. Just sink in.

Every second spent in the world, whether it's just sightseeing, exploring question marks, completing wide range of quests or even playing Gwent is filled with extreme joy. World is beautiful (it has its charm even on low/medium settings), plot is interesting, music is incredible.

But the best thing about this game is that it makes you feel responsible for your actions and decisions. Whatever you do, it has meaning. This is extremely rare in video games sadly, and here it's really, REALLY well executed. I'm amazed.

Witcher 3 might have its flaws, but at the end of the day, all of those barely matter. We just got epic game, that all future RPG games will be evaluated by. Hats down to CDP Red!

While this is a very long game, even just for the main story, it manages to keep up the pace and stay interesting and even after sinking 100+ hours into it I find myself whishing there was even more.

It picks up nicely on the events of the previous two games which gives a feel of consistancy and immersion into the universe. I noticed that CDProjectRed even paid a lot of attetion to detail in 'recontruction' locations which was featured in previous installments of the series. Just one of the many little things that makes the game great.

Secondary quests are really fun, which is also quite unique. They are not simply all 'go fecth/ go kill" but are driven by interesting stories in their own right and even appears to weave into the main story and other secondary quests. Finally, the use of voice acting and cinematic/cut scenes is superb. You never feel like the developers got lazy and just texted it or made a half finished quest. Everything is kept at the highest quality.

There are a couple of glitches here and there - graphical oddities and so on. And But the overall quality more than makes up for this.
