Nov 1, 2019Brilliant RPG, I did encounter a few annoying bugs but overall I had a great time.

Oct 31, 2019I'm just here to say one thing: DON'T give the game a low rating or a ZERO because YOU DON'T AGREE with the GAME'S POLITICAL VIEWS. Judge the game by its CONTENT and now by its AGENDA which has NO EFFECT on GAMEPLAY or your ENJOYMENT of the game whatsoever. If you TRULY don't like the game, go ahead and give it a low rating.

Oct 31, 2019Introduce politics in a video game, less than 60 hours of gameplay, lots of bugs plus a copy paste gameplay from another franchise. And don't forget the Epic store exclusivity.

Oct 31, 2019Было очень приятно поиграть в такого рода ролевую игру. Надеюсь обсидиан не станет останавливаться на достигнутом и эта игра получит продожение.

Oct 31, 2019Sad to say but there isn't any magic here. Very cookie cutter, with simplistic environments, dull characters and boring combat, plus too much inventory management. I started to lose interest after a couple of hours. This game gets boring.

Oct 31, 2019Before fallout 76 i would give this game 9/10. Maybe 8+.
After this disaster i pre-ordered its +1. -
Oct 31, 2019More of the same, but thats great if thats your thing. You can pick 100 things wrong with this game, but there are just as many reasons to love it.

Oct 31, 2019I loved the story and the character progressions. The combat is solid. It's simply a breath of fresh air in a industry that otherwise can't simply deliver. If you like this kind of games it's a must try.

Oct 31, 2019Love this game. If you love Fallout then this is a very close second. The game is immersive with dialog that wraps you into the story. Although I wish the humor in the dialog occured more often, it is still an amazing story that makes you want to complete every quest in each area.

Oct 31, 2019Pros: gamepad support, facial animations.
Cons: somehow it is not enjoyable to play this game with gamepad (probably because there is only aiming assistance without auto-aiming option). -
Oct 31, 2019Outer Worlds - the best RPG in recent years, Obsidian, thank you very much, BUT, you need more! More open, spacious locations, more variety among enemies, love relationships with partners. There is work to do, but this is a really cool game.
p.s. in Russia they love cool RPGs and Obsidian! -
Oct 31, 2019Really enjoyed it. I haven't played many similar games so I can't really compare but as a standalone experience I like dit. It is a bit short though, I completed many side quests and finished in about 17 hours

Oct 31, 2019I was waiting for something like this for a long time. Creative and non linear quests, likable characters, outstanding world design, satisfying combat and plenty of rpg elements to tinker with. Can't wait to go back playing it with the new DLCs!

Nov 16, 2020The problem with this isn't that it is a bad game (far from it), but the fact that it failed to reach its true potential… or maybe the expectations were simply too high, because there's nothing here that anyone can point to and say that it is terrible. Sadly, there's almost nothing that's great either, apart from the role-playing element and the quality of writing. The gunplay? Ok. The exploration? Decent. The plot? Fine. The dominant feeling here is of a game that is good enough so that you won't hate it, but also not as good for it to be the flawless classic that it could definitely be - but again, that's probably those darn high expectations speaking, because flaws or no flaws, The Outer Worlds shouldn't be missing from any RPG collection.

Dec 9, 2019An excellent effort from Obsidian, and though The Outer Worlds doesn’t surpass its predecessors by offering a world worth visiting over and over, the adventure it presents is more than worth the time spent.

Game World Navigator MagazineDec 6, 2019Usually, a planet has just one or two settlements and a bit of wildlands to explore. But that’s for the best – instead of exploring miles of filler content, Outer Worlds keeps you moving from planet to planet, from one tense situation to another. [Issue#241, p.34]
