Jul 13, 2023With over 100+ hours and counting on Steam this game made it to my favorite game. I may have not beaten every boss or explored every biome but jesus christ this is amazing.

Sep 26, 2022This is sure the best game you can buy for $10 (or equivalent for your country/region). Been playing the game since the march of 2012 year, still a huge fan of this game. In my opinion, Terraria is one of the best indie games ever released.
-
Jun 28, 2023It is now 2023 and this game still retains the same charm as when the game was released in 2011. Truly an immortal monument of the gaming world. One of the best sandbox and adventure games I have ever played, it will definitely live on in my heart as well as in the hearts of other players and it will certainly continue to attract more players in the future.

My personal favorite video game of all time, especially with mods such as calamity. It's actually a little scary how fun it is, it cuts right into that "your succeeding" part of your brain with it's top of the line progression system, and with it's different classes to try it makes for unlimited replayability. -
Dec 14, 2022I played this goddamn game for like 100 days in total. IT IS SOOOO GOOD PLAY IT PLAY IT PLAY IT PLAY IT PLAY IT PLAY IT
-
Dec 27, 2022You wouldn't be able to tell by its looks, but its a truly amazing videogame. one of the best experiences money can buy.

Jul 21, 2023Has the greatest progression out of all survival/RPG games out there. The only problem with Terraria is that after you defeat the final boss there is no more progression.
-
Jan 22, 2023Best 10 bucks you can spend on entertainment. The game feels endless at the beginning, and you can explore and discover new things even after hundreds of hours of gameplay. Be sure to have the wiki ready when playing.
-
Jan 11, 2023The best game thath i played in 2022, its art, pixel art its good to this game, a lot of new contnent, godd comunity and its very fun game, 10/10.
-
Aug 20, 2023If I could, I would give Terraria 11/10. One of my favorite games of all time, while I have only 200h in the game I know a guy who spent 4000h just playing Terraria. It's replayability is great, a a million different mods, shoutout to Calamity, Starlight River and Thorium. Soon there will be the 5th update after the "last update ever", so the developers didn't just leave the game.

Feb 2, 2023Incredible game.
The replayability of this game is absolutely astounding. I have dumped more than a thousand hours and I still find myself coming back to it time and time again. The music, the atmosphere and the bosses is fine tuned to perfection. Only bad part is the end game and potentially the very start of your journey when you are very weak. -
Feb 10, 2023a good game that I dare say is more fun than Minecraft, more content, more hours of gameplay and so on. And people who say it is a copy of Minecraft or that it is Minecraft in 2D makes no sense because it is a survival game and all **** games are the same. And the mod community makes the game look like Terraria 2, putting in a gigantic amount of weapons, armor, bosses, npc and etc.
-
Feb 8, 2023Singlehandedly the best game of all time. Made in 2011, runs on anything, still holds up great today. The only reason I would not recommend this to someone is if they just don't enjoy the genre. With crossplay hopefully coming around the corner, you will be able to play with friends regardless of platform. Just an objective 10/10, worth every penny.

Feb 10, 2023Amazing game, constantly updated even though they keep saying it’s the “last update”
-
Mar 15, 2023The only game I could ever call a 10/10. Beautifully designed with something for everyone. Great sandbox elements, the exploration is fun, and the bosses are both engaging and difficult. The addition of Journey Mode in 1.4 removed my only real gripe with the game, and I can say with certainty this is the best video game ever made.
-
Apr 8, 2023To be honest - this is my favourite game at all. Only grind sometimes might be annoying, but for me - it's not a big deal.
-
Apr 15, 2023Very very nice game that has a lot of content to explore and many little eastereggs to be found
-
Apr 19, 2023O jogo é bem legal e com muito conteúdo, vários Bosses, armas, itens, blocos, dentre outros. Além de ser muito divertido, Recomendo.
-
Apr 21, 2023One of the greatest 2D This game has had my interest for some time. This game is incredible. It takes the building and mining of Minecraft and puts it together with the equipment, combat, looting, and dungeon crawling of a sidescrolling action RPG. Don't listen to the people who give it negative score
-
Apr 28, 2023Some people call me 0900 because I have 0 women and 900 hours in terraria
-
Apr 28, 2023love this game, a friend of mine is super stubborn and oes'tlike it, don't be like him (valorant sucks ass)
-
May 1, 2023Terraria is just a perfect game. It makes a lot of fun. You can build houses, fight monsters and bosses, and events like the solar eclipse add even more variety. There is also a multiplayer!
-
May 4, 2023One of the best games I have ever played! I love everything that has to offer: the music, the graphics, the gameplay are perfect, and it blends perfectly with its style. I recommend this game with no doubt, but I suggest you play it with friends for the most fun possible.
-
May 22, 2023El mejor juego que se ha creado. Una variedad inmensa de cosas antes de terminar el juego. Perfecto para jugarlo tanto solo como con amigos. Actualizaciones frecuentes y muy buenas. Buena comunidad

Jun 4, 2023it isn't fair that these critic reviews from 2011 still show up nowadays, the game has changed absurdly and nothing below a 95 is acceptable for it. One of the best games of all times and the best of its genre

Jul 24, 2023A lot of different mods make of terraria a super fun game. My recommendation is to try calamity and thorium.

-
Jul 25, 2023this is the best game i have ever played. it starts off slow but gets amazing after eye and even better after wof. if you are having trouble figuring out what to do you can just look on the wiki for help

Aug 14, 2023The game is straightforward in its design, yet it excels in delivering an abundance of fun, which is the paramount aspect of any game.

Jul 29, 2011Quite simply it is fun. I like the randomness of the worlds and the general feel of the game is
"8-Bit". The music is catchy and there is alot to do. Kill creeps, explore and craft better tools
and weapons. If you have any interest in games it is worth looking into. -

Jul 12, 2011This game is much more than a rehash of Minecraft. Less emphasis is placed on construction, and more is placed on exploration and actual gameplay. The difficulty scales well for anybody from casual players to the more hardcore, and the game rewards thoughtful building to protect yourself from enemies.

May 22, 2011If your fine with 2d and the graphics then this game is awesome. Has a lot of content! No major bugs. Awesome game! Has some similarities with Minecraft, but nothing what you could call "ripped off". It's just inspired by Minecraft. At least it seams so.
-
Sep 11, 2011Don't be fooled, its not some minecraft rip-off with 2D graphics, its actually so diffirent that you might love it even if you hated minecraft, and otherwise. But here you have more stuff to do, other than just building.
-
May 26, 2011Even though there is a lot of content, there could be more. I was hopelessly hooked and managed to get through the content in about 2 days of play. Although for the low price tag, it's still completely worth it. Since it's a sandbox game, I can just start a new game, giving myself my own new goals, even though I've already seen all of the content.

Jun 5, 2011Terraria is an awesome, Minecraft Based 2D Game, with help of popularity of minecraft this game has sold 2 millions in first days of launch, but it is more than a minecraft based game, it is really awesome how well planned is this little game and for 10USD you will get a lot of fun single player and multiplayer

Jun 16, 2011Great game if you have the patience to get through the first few nights, also you need friends to play this or it's pretty boring, I love the new combat addition.
-
Jun 19, 2011Beware to start up Terraria. It is highly addictive, eats up your time like nothing else and is some good old-fashioned fun while doing so. A definitive buy.

Jul 3, 2011Unique, artistic and deep. If you like Minecraft, you will love this game!
It's nothing like Minecraft though, unlike people say. There are great RPG elements involved in this game too.
Give it a try! -
Jul 6, 2011A little slow for the first couple hours. But if you are a fan of nostalgia Squaresoft RPGs / Metroid / Castlevania series with a minecraft building system this game eventually evolves into an absolutely amazing experience. With random generating worlds and co-op, its one of the best gaming deals around.

Nov 1, 2011I'm only writing this review because night has started in my Terraria. And I can happily tell you that Terraria is unique and near nostalgic in itself. Are you a crafter? An adventurer? Or a fighter? It's all up for you to decide on what you become in your own sandbox like world. The concept of Terraria is refining, the execution is majestic. Now if you excuse me, I have to fight some eyeballs.

Jul 30, 2011Spent a good 70 hours on the very first version of the game, simply a great platformer that revisits old SNES themes melded with the ingenuity of Minecraft in two-dimensions. Sadly re-playability is a problem for me due to its lack of content however, the developers are doing an immensely great job at updating their game with new content!
-
Aug 8, 2011Everything I wanted out of Minecraft and more, Don't be fooled by the 2D graphics, this game doesn't need the third dimension to give a brilliant gaming experience. I got a good 50 hours out of this game in my first few weeks of playing, easily worth the small sum I paid for it. The developers are constantly working on new updates, so this game should keep giving for a while still!

Jan 19, 2012First thing I would like to point out is that this is not a minecraft clone, I was surprised about how the more I played, the less it seemed like minecraft, it takes more of the adventure parts of a sandbox and doesn't do much with building which I think is good as it allowed many different weapons and ways to explore

Sep 20, 2011Me, being a person who enjoyed the game that was out of my reach due to low ram, Minecraft, LOVE this game. It is super open-ended and way to easy to get into. The only problem is that it is too easy to complete. If you were to sit down and play the game ONCE through (without Hardcore on), it would be done in one day. Hardcore....maybe three. I love it, but a 9.0 is what its worth.

Think 2D minecraft with more focus on combat and crafting all kinds of crazy stuff. -

Mar 19, 2012Terraria is one of the best sandbox games. Terraria has some Minecraft spirit, however the focus of the game is on fighting and crafting, so it involves more action. The best way to enjoy Terraria is to play it with a couple of friends on your own server.
-
Mar 16, 2012It's a title that will appeal to the adventurer, the explorer and the builder; not to mention those who appreciate a substantial amount of player freedom. If you happen to be all of those things, Terraria is a lightly tarnished treasure.
-
Mar 14, 2012A lot of games tried to copy Minecraft – or at least participate from its' success. But this two-dimensional take on the well known formula is the only game that is able to step out of the shadow of the indie phenomenon that inspired it. It leads you into a unique world full of creative magic.
