    Looting, random violence and destruction are rampant. Nobody is safe. Despite repeated refusals by their superiors, three young police officers were determined to tackle the problem head on. Eventually they created a special attack unit the only way they could they quit the force. Take control of one of the three ex-officers and make the city a place where people no longer have to walk the Streets of Rage!

    The original Streets of Rage is a true Sega classic. While the sequel is a better game, this first entry still ranks up with Golden Axe andThe original Streets of Rage is a true Sega classic. While the sequel is a better game, this first entry still ranks up with Golden Axe and The Revenge of Shinobi. It launched around the time when the watered down SNES port of Final Fight arrived. As a result, comparisons were made and SOR received the superior reviews. This is a colorful, very enjoyable beat 'em up that still holds up well. I would rate SOR with an 8.4 out of 10. Expand
