    The original Streets of Rage is a true Sega classic. While the sequel is a better game, this first entry still ranks up with Golden Axe and The Revenge of Shinobi. It launched around the time when the watered down SNES port of Final Fight arrived. As a result, comparisons were made and SOR received the superior reviews.     It's an excellent beat 'em-up game. The soundtrack, distinct characters, progressive difficult... this is a well constructed game that lives up to the SEGA golden age.
