    Not just a good Sonic game, but a great game in general. Definitely some jank and weird issues that you don't normally see in a polished AAA game, but we've seen much bigger and more popular AAA games that are constantly praised in way worst states (Glitcher 3 anyone?).

    This game takes all the best aspects of Spiderman and Mario Odyssey and slaps them together making a unique and fun    Not just a good Sonic game, but a great game in general. Definitely some jank and weird issues that you don't normally see in a polished AAA game, but we've seen much bigger and more popular AAA games that are constantly praised in way worst states (Glitcher 3 anyone?).

    Sonic Frontiers is the best Sonic game in the entire franchise! This game in it of itself is a masterpiece regardless of Sonic games! The open world is so fun to explore and you can run freely and platform at full speed and fight enemies, bosses and Titans, it's so fun! You can also combat and fight a lot of unique enemies and bosses, and unlock alot of new combat moves and skills at theSonic Frontiers is the best Sonic game in the entire franchise! This game in it of itself is a masterpiece regardless of Sonic games! The open world is so fun to explore and you can run freely and platform at full speed and fight enemies, bosses and Titans, it's so fun! You can also combat and fight a lot of unique enemies and bosses, and unlock alot of new combat moves and skills at the skill tree! You can also upgrade Sonic, you can upgrade his strength, speed, ring capacity and defense! The story is the best out of the whole franchise, and the voice acting is very good, Roger Craig Smith did an amazing job as the voice of Sonic! The music in this game is incredible and it's the best music in the entire series! The Super Sonic fights against the Titans were amazing and some of the best fights in a video game! Thank you Takashi Izuka and ESPECIALLY Morio Kishimoto who created this MASTERPEICE!
    The 5 years wait was definitely worth it.

    Sonic Frontiers is just an outstanding game, but definitely with some polish could be and amazing one.I enjoyed every single hour playing this game to start to finish exploring the map, collecting items and upgrading the hedgehog took me around 30 hours to fully experimenting everything that the game has to offer,

    Great job compared to the Sonic games since Sonic Generations. But unfortunately, the features that make this game better are not unique to Sonic. The world is not completely open, it is like a hub, but more interesting than in Sonic Adventure. Super form bosses are very difficult until you understand what to do, then it's easier.     This game is amazing! i love all of the open-world, cyberspace, and also the Super Sonic boss fights! Sonic Team has outdone themselves.

    I have to say, Sonic Frontiers is in the Top 5 best sonic games of all time. While the true final boss was lackluster, I didn't care because almost everything else weighed it down. The open world and visuals were breathtaking, the storytelling and character development were a massive step up to what the meta era brought to the table, and some of the boss fights were the best boss fights inI have to say, Sonic Frontiers is in the Top 5 best sonic games of all time. The only reason it says 9/10 is because it won't let me choose 8.5/10.But anyways, this is must play sonic game for both sonic and non-sonic fans.… Expand

    9/10 It has Finaly a good story after Sonic Unleashed. Its with an brand new Formel, the Open Zones! This formel is not mastered by Sonic Team but good. I hope Sonic Frontiers 2 will have also Open Zones but this time in Perfect! Where the False thinks from Frontiers get removed because the Pop-Ins and stuff like that is anoying af.

    Def a 10! Would recommend because of the:
    -OST
    -Titan Boss fights
    -redefining Super Sonic for the better
    Would Recommend SEGA to Fix/Add:
    -Full Boost Gameplay in the open Zones (With Drift included)
    -Momentum So the game wouldn't be Boost Dependent

    The best Sonic game ever made! The open zone is really great designed and every island has it‘s own individuality. I really loved to play this game 30 hours with such a great story. Not like the usual stories without any big plots. This story was deep and was so good written with many plot twists and great character development. Really really great and my favorite game from now on!

    It's okay for an open-world game, but certainly not the best. Sonic Adventure (more than 20 years ago!) did a much better job than this sonic game.

    This game is really, really good. There are some pretty bad problems though. To start, the cyberspace levels controls are very bad. in the later zones, the game loves to just grab your camera and yank you into things because you touch a trigger you couldn't see, and even a couple of enemies just grab your camera. Pleas fix this Sega. The ending is also not very good honestly. My advice isThis game is really, really good. There are some pretty bad problems though. Pleas fix this Sega. The ending is also not very good honestly. My advice is to switch to easy mode before the last boss. It's not hard, just annoying and boring, and you get the same ending regardless.

    All that sounds bad, I know, but that really is about my extent of the problems with the game. The story, ending aside, is genuinely good, characterization is so much better than it has been, and this game has some of the most fun, cinematic boss fights in the series yet. The soundtrack goes so hard, and I'm here for it. This game makes you feel so powerful. The bulk of the game, the open zones, is INCREDIBLY fun despite the above setbacks, and the gameplay loop fits Sonic in a way I never thought possible. After playing this, my biggest complaint is really just that there isn't more - mainly, more characters and cutscenes. Playing as Sonic was so fun, and I'd love to see Tails, Amy, and Knuckles get a piece of the action too!

    That said, I can't say how much I ruined my sleep schedule on this game. First time in a long time I've been like "Okay, I'll play about an hour" and then it's suddenly 3am.

    TL;DR: This game has it's problems, but it's also one of the most fun, immersive, and enjoyable games I've played in a looong time. It's easily an A-Tier game to me. With a little polish and a bit more content, this game could easily be a 9 or even a 10.    … Expand

    It's very "ok". Comparing it to Adventure and Adventure 2 Battle, it's just not there. It feels like a Sonic game as much as sticking Mario into Skyrim can be called a Mario game - lost and confused, but looking very good while doing it.
    Controls are great and graphics (while not my taste) are very good. I'm not a fan of the soundtrack at all - I miss the Jun Senoue/Crush 40 vibe, not a    It's very "ok".     After Sonic Forces this game is just great. I especially liked the soundtrack, just a joy to my ears. The story didn't disappoint either.
    In general, the game is very cool, I advise everyone!

    For what it is, it is a good sonic game. But I only give this game a 7/10 because it has some issues, but thankfully since I am on PC, the game could potentially be fixed with mods. So that could bump the rating up from a 7/10 to a 7.5/10. But honestly, its pretty good.

    Is this game perfect? No. However, this is quite possibly the most brain-numbing fun I have had playing a viedo game in a while. It's fast paced and you get rewarded for pretty much every little thing. However, I have to say that in the traditional style cyber space stages, Sonic does feel a little slow, particullarly in the 2D sections. In open zone however, Sonic feels quite responsiveIs this game perfect? No. However, this is quite possibly the most brain-numbing fun I have had playing a viedo game in a while. It's fast paced and you get rewarded for pretty much every little thing. However, I have to say that in the traditional style cyber space stages, Sonic does feel a little slow, particullarly in the 2D sections. In open zone however, Sonic feels quite responsive to control and moving around feels quite smooth. The boss fights are also the peak of the game's gameplay, however, I feel like they could have bumped up the health of those bosses a bit, giving you more of insentive to gather the seeds to power up Sonic as well as giving you a challenge at the end of each island. The overall story is a pretty mixed, but the characterization and course correction of certain characters was handled so well. I particullarly enjoyed how the writers handled Eggman in this game which actually results in a pretty sad conclusion to his arc in this game. Overall, if this is the new direction SEGA and Sonic Team is taking this series in, I feel very confident about Sonic's future.… Expand

    best game in the series when you include mods, without mods it is still absolutely amazing. The soundtrack, the bosses, the fighting, the story, the gameplay and gameplay loop. Cyberspace is the only area where people say it is not good, I disagree, i see it as a extra addon to the open zone and with a mod to port the open zone physics into cyberspace it because better than colors andbest game in the series when you include mods, without mods it is still absolutely amazing. The soundtrack, the bosses, the fighting, the story, the gameplay and gameplay loop. The story is amazing, with all the intricacy in one singular bag. The secret boss is very easy once you memorize all of it's attacks, they also help you if you die too much on it, you go from 3 lives to 5 lives, very beneficial! Though I did not go there as once I memorized The End's attacks, I no damaged it. This game is just astronomical, in nearly every regard, hard to find games like that these days, which is no more than a detriment to how much fun you want to have IN a game.     Sonic's entry into new, for him, gaming paths is overall successful, despite any problems. With a little polish and attention to detail, the next game in the series has the foundations in place to finally look eternal rival Mario in his three-dimensional, bubbly eyes.
