If you remember the times when you thought Sonic was the coolest thing in the **** world, this game will bring those feelings back. The music is an MGR level masterpiece. Jogo muito bom, consigo sentir que neste ano o Sonic retornou a ter mais relevância que há 3 anos atrás.

Incredibly underwhelming. Lifeless, drab open zones with out of place looking springs, dash pads, and floating rails thrown everywhere. Awkward, uncomfortable camera and poorly designed bosses limited by it. Stiff, soulless movement and none of the charm in its setting that made past 3D Sonics so memorable. If "bland Unreal Engine tech demo" is the style Sonic is aiming for in the future, I don't think I'm interested in this series anymore. Remember Speed Highway from Sonic Adventure 1? City Escape from SA2? Crisis City from Sonic '06? Say what you will about that last one, at least there are interesting visual elements going on in that stage. One of the best parts of any Sonic game is seeing the unique and stylized zones and areas Sonic Team crafts. Taking out that soul and replacing it with a safe, bland, generic open world is incredibly disappointing.

Well this game is buggy as **** **** empty and limited world, diealogues are ****ed up, boring music and ****ty story. Damn, how can sonic fanboys give this game a 10? That's way sonic is never gonna get good, they are blind by their own fanatism. Anyway, have a nice time making sonic a mediocre saga (more than it is right now); peace.

Very sad vision for the future of sonic. Empty world with terrible design, forgettable music, horrible performance, they need to start taking a different approach with sonic.

    - Level design is utterly bad
    - Popping issues happen 24/7 no matter the rig
    - Story is shallow and characters interaction is really limited
    - World is dull and empty
    - Challenges are baby hard
    - Overall game is way too easy, seems to be aiming the 11 year olds

+ A small batch of levels are gorgeous and feel like nostalgic sonic

The open world is horrible and so boring.

And cant play the game on steam deck outside home cause you put denuvo in all of your games, plus the slutter it causes....

Just because people LIKE a game doesn't mean that game is GREAT. People tend to forget this simple fact. I understand players are enjoying Sonic Frontiers but how dare they say it is good ?

You want more ? Clipping everywhere, lags every two meters, zero stakes, shameless reuses of assets and level designs of stages from previous games, ... And an utterly lamentable final Boss.

The worst part being it took not less than five years for SEGA to lay this steaming turd. If people are happy to have received this pathetic sub Sonic then their expectactions were miserably low.

One of the best sonic games ever to date, for once the story is actually good and not a cringe made up story for 7 year olds, the game feels more like a mix between sonic adventure 2 and sonic colors.

Poco atrapante y careciente se encaanto, un mundo abierto con un apartado artístico muy genérico

Another absolutely underdeveloped mess from Sonic Team. Seriously, why do they keep pumping out broken garbage and the fanbase keeps lapping it up without any criticism? If this is all you want, this is all you're ever going to get, but good grief this game is broken, boring, janky nonsense.

    Nearly unplayable.

PS1 era camera, no sense of depth when jumping. I played 30 minutes before I couldn't take the camera anymore and got a refund. Graphically it's mediocre at best. A whopping two settings, High and Low. Caps at 60fps and doesn't run solid 60 on my 6800m, Cyberpunk runs at 60FPS FFS. This is such a poorly optimized game. Even putting frame rates aside, setting

Even putting frame rates aside, setting everything to max and just standing still, it's not visually. Impressive in any sense.

The game itself isn't fun either. Devoid of anything to really do. It's a faux open world.. Not worth the full price or sale price I paid.

    - Poor performance. Constant stuttering. Unstable framerate.
    - Not Sonic. This isn't a Sonic game, this is a fan tech demo.
    - Unfitting graphics. gross realistic graphics instead of cartoon graphics.
    - Bad music. This is the first mainline Sonic game to have trash music.

Peak Fiction I loved it. I had so much fun it was just a genuinely good game. I wish the graphics and visuals were better but I had an amazing time regardless

There was a Sonic fanboy calling this garbage "a masterpiece, a peak game, an amazing experience" when it's actually a disasterpiece, a bottom of the barrel game, and a terrible experience.

    Total Trash.
What type of AAA game has load in like this.
I would expect more for the least and this pricetag.

The open world is fun to run around in, but doing any of the tasks within are boring. The combat has a lot of "needless depth" to it, where you CAN do all these bigger moves and combos, but your basic abilities more than suffice. The enemies are generic and bland as well, variations of "small shiny black robot with pointy arms" to "giant shiny black robot with stompy legs".

The zones themselves are boring and are all based on the awful Boost gameplay that people think is good for some reason. It is however, still leagues better than 06, Forces, Unleashed, Heroes, etc.
The story is another "I'll go save all my useless friends" throwaway, as Sonic games almost always are nowadays.

The music is okay, but the cool-factor is outweighed by the fact that Sonic himself is not as cool as the music/lyrics try to make him out to be. Better to just download the music and listen while playing a better game.

A large story-based content update was announced so there's a chance it will improve the gameplay some more, but there's a whole bunch of cosmetic/misc/junk stuff before that comes out that will likely interest very few players.

To top it all off, it has Denuvo. This causes the game to microstutter at times. Even if it didn't though, I still don't think this game would be worth pirating at this stage. A decent improvement after the last 17 years of disappointment, but mediocre at best.

It's the same formula from previous games but now with repetitive combat. The games itself feels too fragmented and undefined. Cyberpace stages feeling the same as Sonic Forces and Sonic Colors but with even less challenge. The overworld feels bland with scattered gimmicks all over. The narrative is very confusing, and the characters are too gloomy all the time, trying to be "serious". TheIt's the same formula from previous games but now with repetitive combat. Sonic's entry into new, for him, gaming paths is overall successful, despite any problems. With a little polish and attention to detail, the next game in the series has the foundations in place to finally look eternal rival Mario in his three-dimensional, bubbly eyes.
