Overall, I did really enjoy Shop Titans more than I thought I would. It’s more complex than just a casual gaming experience and while it does have a traditional path of Free-to-Play gameplay structure, where real-world pay is involved, there are enough options for you to avoid that if that isn’t your thing. It just requires patience. I’m not crazy about the controls when compared to the iOS version, which is probably my biggest knock on the game.

The egregious monetization can't be overlooked in this game. Originally I was being lenient and choosing to simply ignore it but after playing the game for 10 hours it very quickly became clear this game is only interested in putting up as many obstacles as possible and selling you the solution to these problems. While it's true that a lot of these items can be earned in-game, they make it very clear that paying is the better option. Combine that with the simple and repetitive nature of the game and I can't honestly recommend this. As it's free though you have nothing to lose by trying it for yourself, just understand though what type of game you are getting yourself into.

Shop Titans starts off as a simple but enjoyable enough economic sim, but before long you'll learn that it's really a game of waiting for timers to expire. It's one thing to pop into a mobile game on your phone a few times a day when you have a minute or two, it's quite another to have to sit down at a computer and launch a game several times a day just to progress in bite-sized chunks. Unless you're willing to part with a steady stream of cash to continuously turn it back into a simple economic sim.

Shop Titans arrives on PC in the same fashion it existed on mobile, with painfully tedious systems that desperately claw at your wallet.

Considering how mindless and tailor-fit for mobile audiences the substanceless gameplay loop of Shop Titans is, one has to wonder why Kabam saw fit to pursue a PC release. Of course, the "why" is made painfully clear the moment players hit their first wall. Progression is very blatantly designed around micro-transactions. Anyone who doesn't want to spend a dime will need to contend with a very long grind. Even then, the game actively withholds items and content from players who don't want to spend real money. Worse yet is the monthly subscription service, which Kabam fully expects anyone who wants to play Shop Titans in earnest to purchase. Already aggressively mediocre experience by design, jumping from mobile to PC has done Kabam's shopkeeping "simulator" no favours. Shop Titans is worse than video game junk food; it's slop.

Fun the firsts day and then it's just repetitive + you must connect each hour to collect gears and sell them to customers. Not fit for a pc game

It looks like a game, but it is basically a colorful dopamine addiction trap to lure you into microtransactions. It does every single psychological trick that experts developed to since Farmville on Facebook.
I have played this game up to about level 20 in about 5 hours. It is nothing but grinding, trying to keep production up to serve customers. They add more and more minigames to it that you need to get various different "coins" for by playing one or another minigame - none of which you can actually lose - because losing would drop your dopamine production and you would turn away from the game. It drags you into a community of similarly caught players to do each other favors on their maps. So you get one price, one gift, one lucky draw after another to keep you in the hamster wheel. And of cause you always can buy those missing coins with micro-transactions as a shortcut. Do yourself a favor and do not go there.

Do not waste you time or Money!!! It's a Scam Game!!

I have been playing Shop Titans for about a month. The game itself is pretty boring but my husband and daughter like it; so I tried to push through and find something fun about the game. I started getting competitive with my husband to see who could get the best stats and that helped.

A couple of days ago I got an error message saying I was banned from the Market for 10 years. I did absolutely nothing wrong so I contact customer service asking what I could do to remedy the situation. They said I had bots on my account or something and that I had to make a purchase. I have no idea what bots are, I don't use anything other than a mouse, and this PC is only a couple months old.

So, started looking for reviews to see if this was a problem someone else had or if it was a glitch of some sort. I saw a few other reviews of people talking about getting banned from the market from so called bot use, and being told to make a purchase. One person did make a purchase and still was banned. So, I emailed them again and told them I thought it was a scam to get my money and they responded with let them know if I need anything else.

To be completely honest I can still play the game and just deal with the red eye sore in the corner, but without the market there is no competition with my husband. He will do everything quicker and more efficient. There for he will advance exponentially faster and it will be impossible to keep up.
