  1. Shadow of the Tomb Raider doesn't have much to offer compared to the recent games. However, if you are a fan of the Tomb Raider series, you will enjoy it.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider is doomed to remain in the shadow of its predecessors.

Eidos Montreal applies its signature gameplay touches to Tomb Raider, making for the series's most satisfying balance of combat, exploration, and puzzle solving. Unfortunately these mechanical successes are let down by a journey that fails to deliver a compelling study of Lara's personal shadows.

It’s unsatisfying, is all. Shadow of the Tomb Raider, as I said up top, isn’t a bad game—at least by traditional metrics. It’s just not a good game either. It falls in that weird gray area of okay, like Mad Max or a Shadow of War. There’s not much of substance here, certainly not on the story side and, after two predecessors that play almost exactly the same, not really on the moment-to-moment gameplay side either.

The parts of Tomb Raider that make it really fantastic--uncovering the mystery of ancient ruins, solving impressive challenge tombs, and exploring exotic environments--are still here in Shadow, and they are just as outstanding as they have always been. But the core mechanics that have been with the series for half a decade are starting to show their limitations.

  1. This works out as a great balance between the icon-ticking compulsion of a top tier Ubisoft game, with the puzzling chops from a team that have suddenly remembered they were the best in the business. It’s huge and detailed and stupid and probably most of all, fun. Problematic fun, without question.

This review contains spoilers, click full review link to view. It would seem Rhianna Pratchett was fired, BUT Jill Murray intercepted Pratchett's baton, I don't even know where the script is worse in the previous two games or in the Shadow of the Tomb Raider.

    - The conscious deterioration of Lara's face compared to the Rise of the Tomb Raider
    - Lack of plot. Instead of it nonsense
    - Small locations, while the game lagging
    - Absolutely uninteresting characters
    - Secondary quests - one of the worst in the gaming industry
    - The lack of any motivation for the characters to do what they do, especially Lara, one side she helps the "naked ass" tribe, on the other hand she kills everyone on her way
    - ORCS in Latin America - what kind of drugs does Jill Murray use ?
    - ORCS do not react to shots at close range by a shotgun, you need to shoot at least twice or thrice
    - Initial data: on the one hand, the orcs with spears and arrows, on the other hand, well-armed militants in body armor and helmets, with the support of an armored personnel carrier, and several combat helicopters. What is the result? Victory of Orcs.
    - Foxes either coyotes the size of an elephant, in which you need to put a half of the charger of the machine gun to pacify their.
    - Unnecessary hunting
    - Tombs have become more than in the previous two games, but they are easy and not interesting
    - The game is full of bugs, for example, in the tomb, where you need to close the "curtains" the wind continues to blow even with the curtains closed, or the quest "echo of the past" cannot be passed, because the Abby does not appear in the house of the granny, and the granny herself mumbles some nonsense standing at the entrance of the house.
    - Jonah underwent plastic surgery, why is he needed in the game ? Better would have added girlfriend for Lara xD
    - Lara is Rambo, or Predator is not very clear.

In short, this is the worst game of relaunch trilogy.
