Apr 15, 2025Rusty Rabbit constantly kept me entertained with its easy and fun gameplay, extensive lore and super cute visuals. I had an absolute blast drilling through bricks, chatting with the BBs and exploring all the different connected dungeons. Though some elements, such as the skill tree and reasons for requests, were hard to understand, I was always super pumped when I booted up Rusty Rabbit and got to spend time as a middle-aged, grumpy, yet strong and courageous junk yard bunny.

Oct 20, 2025Rusty Rabbit is an interesting title, with a strong plot in a colourful world. However, the gameplay and dialogue can drag at times.

Apr 13, 2025Rusty Rabbit is a decent Metroidvania with some interesting ideas, but clunky movement and frustrating combat make it a tough sell.

Apr 14, 2025Rusty Rabbit is a serviceable Metroidvania at best, which just isn’t enough to warrant a recommendation. If you love rabbits, or Takaya Kuroda, then you might get a few laughs out of this game, but chances are you won’t actually enjoy playing it that much. It’s a shame: a great concept, some half-decent writing in places, let down by shoddy controls and gameplay.
