    Приобрел игру, ждал первого патча. по итогу обновился сначала только лаунчер и только на следующий день появился патч на 2.7гб который в моем случае только добавил артефакты в игру(фиолетовый снег!! баги). Сегодня потребовал возврат средств. платить за бета-тест не интересно. Даже STALKER Clear Sky был играбельнееПриобрел игру, ждал первого патча. по итогу обновился сначала только лаунчер и только на следующий день появился патч на 2.7гб который в моем случае только добавил артефакты в игру(фиолетовый снег!! баги).     I went through the incredibly obnoxious process of creating a Metacritic account to post this review; why? Because this game is so, so terribly awful. The amount of bugs in RDR2 on PC are just beyond what is acceptable. I was laughing this morning when I encountered a new, game breaking one.

    Now, beyond the gamebreaking bugs, the game itself is just very, very bad. The wolves in the beginning, the snow, just about every part of the game is designed specifically to drain as much fun out of your life as possible.     Теперь о самой игре: Ладно, пропустим момент с падающим фреймрейтом, уже исправлено(хотя, вроде как, не у всех). Но уже звоночек. - Графика в ААА-проекте 2019(пусть даже 2018) года хуже, чем в GTA V 2015 года, или, как минимум, на том же уровне, а    Абсолютно наплевательское отношение Rockstar к ПК аудитории. Эта игра на данный момент выглядит лишь как любительский порт с консоли.

    Теперь о самой игре:

    Ладно, пропустим момент с падающим фреймрейтом, уже исправлено(хотя, вроде как, не у всех). Но уже звоночек.
    - Графика в ААА-проекте 2019(пусть даже 2018) года хуже, чем в GTA V 2015 года, или, как минимум, на том же уровне, а системные требования, при этом, намного выше.(+- ультра пресет, 1920х1080).
    - Проблемы с запуском: чертов RSC иногда просто не дает войти в игру по причине различного рода ошибок, а иногда вообще говорит, что не запущен клиент Steam, с которого и была запущена игра.
    - Прогрузка в реальном времени: предметы время от времени появляются из ниоткуда, вроде лошадей, вывесок, а один раз и целого этажа здания! И это при том, что игра стоит на SSD...
    Также и после загрузки игры - сначала появляется голова Артура, а потом все остальное: тело, здания и т.п.
    - Из плюсов пока не могу выделить ничего, так как по причине кривого лаунчера не могу оценить игру в полной мере. Отыграл всего 2 с небольшим часа. Но единственное чувство, посещавшее меня за эти два часа - это скука. Серьёзно, мне не особо нравится сама концепция этой игры, но я искренне хотел дать ей шанс.

    И что же я(мы все) получил/-и? Как по мне - полнейшее разочарование.

    Rockstar должно быть стыдно выпускать ЭТО в таком состоянии!

    На 14.12.2019 то, от чего у меня полыхает больше всего:
    Rockstar выпускает игру в steam на месяц позже, чем в EGS, хапнув деньжат за эксклюзивность.
    Мало того, в steam выходит абсолютно кривая *****, в которую невозможно играть. Как в EGS, но только спустя месяц, ну не смешно ли?
    Мало? То ли еще будет: меньше чем через 10 дней Rockstar выпускает патч, который ломает игру и плюсом ко всему вешает на неё 20% скидку, скрывшись в закат с нашими кровными шекелями.
    Если бы была номинация "Анти Игра Года", то я знаю, кто взял бы гран-при.
    Накипело.

    Резюмируя:
    1. Не покупайте это, не повторяйте наших ошибок.
    2. RDR2 на ПК - очередное доказательство того, что критикам в 2019 верить не стоит.

    На всякий случай, оставлю конфиг системы:
    CPU: I5 9600K
    VCard: RTX 2070 Super
    RAM: 16GB, 3000MHz
    ROM: SATA SSD 1TB

    The game is unoptimized there is no gpu to play rdr2 on ultra 4k 60 fps the rtx2080ti and 8700k nearly runs 45 fps and drops to 20 fps I am disappointed rockstar

    After installing the game I tweaked some graphics settings and tried to run the included benchmark which resulted in multiple crashes after multiple attempts. Restarted my computer. Benchmark no longer crashes the game. Once in-game I continue to tweak settings to get decent 60fps-ish performance on my 1080ti based machine. The game is far more demanding than Rockstar let on. As a test, IAfter installing the game I tweaked some graphics settings and tried to run the included benchmark which resulted in multiple crashes after multiple attempts. Restarted my computer. Benchmark no longer crashes the game. Once in-game I continue to tweak settings to get decent 60fps-ish performance on my 1080ti based machine. The game is far more demanding than Rockstar let on. As a test, I switch from Vulkan to DX12. Can't detect a difference. Decide to restart my machine again just because, now RDR2 won't start at all. Tried to start the game a dozen times, each time it fails. I can't play the game. Rockstar, don't release your game if it isn't ready to be played. ZERO… Expand

    To adjust the texture - you need to restart the game;
    to play - you have to close your mouth and be tolerant;
    crash on the first attack on a train.. -10 10.

    Absolutely loved the game on Xbox One, absolutely hating it on PC and that's saying a lot since I am mainly a PC gamer. The controls are poorly thought out and cannot be changed the game is buggy and constantly freezes. It also seems that the game has not been tested at all. The people who decided that the game was ready for launch should sacked! What an epic failure!

    Never wrote any reviews, but this sh** made me to. Guys don't buy this game. I could only launch it for 16 minutes (as epic tells me) and after that I've got a crash. I am not able to launch it more. Any suggestions in web and from developer don't help.
    And a watercooled Titan Xp couldn’t run it in 1080p on ultra.
    I think that nvidia asked Rockstar for such “optimizations”. RTX sales promo.

    Have just registered here to tell: do not buy this piece of unplayable code.
    Crashes on launch, crashes during in-game benchmark, crashes anytime during gameplay. Totally unoptimized (there is no build of your PC which give you stable gaming process). Do not try it even for free.

Game stutters and freezes every few seconds. Can't save. Had to re-do the same mission several times already due to crashes.     My experience is awesome, I started the game with the rockstar games launcher ended unexpectedly error, and I cannot get past the first error trial. I tried all of the troubleshooting steps, but this puzzle just beats me. Either way, the error windows looks crisps even if it is like 600x400 pixels. I really admire rockstar for it's social commentary, realism and attention to detail. IMy experience is awesome, I started the game with the rockstar games launcher ended unexpectedly error, and I cannot get past the first error trial. I tried all of the troubleshooting steps, but this puzzle just beats me. Either way, the error windows looks crisps even if it is like 600x400 pixels. I really admire rockstar for it's social commentary, realism and attention to detail. I actually feel like some guy from the beginning of the 20th century that uses a computer for the first time. Best 60 euros ever spent. 10/10… Expand

    Что касается самой игры, проработки, сюжета, огрового мира и т.д то естественно высщий пилотаж! Игра сама шикарнейшая, но только сама игра идеальная а вот оптимизация просто ноль...ребята ну вы издеваетесь чтоли...даже мощные компы ее не очень та уж хорошо тянут..оптимизация на нуле...есть игры требовательнее РДР2 но они идут в сто раз лучше и выдают очень хороший фпс так как естьЧто касается самой игры, проработки, сюжета, огрового мира и т.д то естественно высщий пилотаж! Игра сама шикарнейшая, но только сама игра идеальная а вот оптимизация просто ноль...ребята ну вы издеваетесь чтоли...даже мощные компы ее не очень та уж хорошо тянут..оптимизация на нуле...есть игры требовательнее РДР2 но они идут в сто раз лучше и выдают очень хороший фпс так как есть оптимизация..но тут оптимизации просто ноль...очень хотелось бы чтобы в будущем игру оптимизировали...ибо потрачены деньги скажем так немного зря..так как играть с очень маленьким фпс не очень...… Expand

    Casi 24 horas después sigo sin poder jugar. Error del launcher. He probado todas las recomendaciones, tanto las de la propia Rockstar, como del resto de usuarios, y nada. Y no estamos hablando de un PC antiguo ni mucho menos.
    Yo no puedo acceder al juego, pero ellos si que acceden sin problema al dinero que les he pagado.

    Что касается самой игры, проработки, сюжета, огрового мира и т.д то естественно высщий пилотаж! Игра сама шикарнейшая, но только сама игра идеальная а вот оптимизация просто ноль...ребята ну вы издеваетесь чтоли...даже мощные компы ее не очень та уж хорошо тянут..оптимизация на нуле...есть игры требовательнее РДР2 но они идут в сто раз лучше и выдают очень хороший фпс так как естьЧто касается самой игры, проработки, сюжета, огрового мира и т.д то естественно высщий пилотаж!     The game is GREAT. Did coplete it on PS PRO.
    I buy PC utimate edition only because I respect ROCKSTAR and games they made (Also I did buy it on console).
    But after what they did to PC. I will newer preorder any games from them. 2080ti - 30 fps on 4K. Is this a JOKE or something? Grafic are not way better then GTAV! And what about recomended system requirments? Does 25 fps on 1060    The game is GREAT. Did coplete it on PS PRO.

    Это просто катастрофа. Начиная от курсора мышки на экране кончая не рабочим ТАА. Ну и как венец со смены Вулкана на ДХ12 игра перестала запускаться. Пять часов попыток запустить не к чему не привели. Игры прошёл на Хбоксе Х. На свой памяти, даже не вспомню такого фейла.Это просто катастрофа.     Rockstar will never learn, maybe after half of a year it may become playable, but for now it's unplayable broken garbage. But what should we expect from people who scrapped few singleplayer DLC for sake of a garbage casino in GTA V multiplayer and come up with stupid idea of making worthless launcher?

    Я купил Rdr 2 на и я оплачивал с помощью киви. После оплаты у меня игра не появилась в библиотеке! Думал подожду и появится.     So, the RDR 2. Basicly the Rockstar Dead Realese 2 is a worst console port that ive ever seen, and Rockstar Game Launcher is more than ordinary launcher, it's like a huge almanac of software bugs and the most disgusting mechanics. I know how beautiful this game is,but this attitude towards PC users deserves the lowest rating of this version of the game.

    A BIG DISSAPOINT. GTX 1060 and 60 FPS with low settings on 1080p. Sh*t optimization. I cannot refund my preorder. First time I preorder a game....I won't ever preorder a game again. Thx rockstar.

    В чём смысл публиковать фейковые системные требования и выпускать игру с ошибками и наихудшей оптимизацией с которой я только сталкивался в своей жизни? Мне кажется, если бы группа энтузиастов сделала эмулятор за 3 дня и попыталась запустить на нём RDR2, то у них бы получилось куда лучше. Если по словам девелоперов пк версия планировалась изначально и за столько времени нельзя было довести игру до нормального состояния?     Dear Rockstar, are you kidding me? Game sluggish and falls down to 40 fps in 1080p using OVERCLOCKED 5 GHz i9-9900K and RTX 2080? You know, when you beta-test game, you should PAY your testers, and NOT charge them with pre-orders. I will NEVER pre-order anything from you again.

    Doesn't run half he time and crashes on startup as widely reported. When it does run the performance is garbage for the visuals imo.

    My biggest warning to anyone considering purchasing RDR2 on PC is that you need to have patience when you set it up. Take the time to go through each graphics option, compare your performance on Vulkan vs. DirectX 12, and tailor the game to your specs. Once you have the game tuned, there’s no better way to experience it than on PC.
