    I have about 1 minute total of gameplay, thats all this game would allow me untill crashing at the same spot in the game. CLEARLY metacritic was paid by Rockstar for this rating. Update my BIOS?? please....try updating your game. My minute of in game experience included textures that didnt seem completed, blurry textures. Checked graphics settings, "o its defaulting to vulkan", changed toI have about 1 minute total of gameplay, thats all this game would allow me untill crashing at the same spot in the game.     It's buggy as hell. Map with broken scale of objects on it. Captions disappearing now and then. Crashing now and then. Load your savegame and get black screen? - easy. And so on. Rockstar just spits in faces of their customers. Well, and least the game launches, so I give it 1/10.

    Te cobran carisimo por un juego que está extremadamente mal optimizado y ensima se dan el lujo de entre comillas "apurarte" para reservalo así obtienes beneficios, pero los únicos que se beneficiaron sacando un Port asqueroso para pc fueron los de rockstar, muy decepcionado de este título y siento que fue una estafa.

    Aweful PC port. Cannot progress further into the story. Submitted a support ticket for this issue and was given no help. Terrible port Rockstar. Many issues.

    Wow, just wow. What an absolute mess of a game, not only did we have to wait a year to get a PC release, but when it finally comes to PC it doesn't even launch most of the time, and when it finally does launch you encounter either a CTD, freeze or a straight up BSoD after a few minutes.
    I'm running the game on a GTX 1080, i6700k, 16 GB ram, win10 pro, everything is up to date, I have all    Wow, just wow. What an absolute mess of a game, not only did we have to wait a year to get a PC release, but when it finally comes to PC it doesn't even launch most of the time, and when it finally does launch you encounter either a CTD, freeze or a straight up BSoD after a few minutes.
    I'm running the game on a GTX 1080, i6700k, 16 GB ram, win10 pro, everything is up to date, I have all the latest drivers, I even flashed my BIOS but nothing works (And you really shouldn't have to use a BIOS flash as a fix to get a game to launch).
    If you enjoy countless hours of troubleshooting then this is the perfect error simulator for you, for the low low price of $60 you can test your skills and patience. If your're NOT into that then I'd strongly advice against buying this "game".    … Expand

    Terrible support for the game, technical support is almost not responsible, it is impossible to play Online, every 5 minutes throws in the menu with a communication error, how can such a raw, unfinished produce for a full price tag.

    Rockstar, what the f*ck * am I, I paid $ 39 so that on my 970gtx I had 40fps lagging on HD resolution. Why can’t I optimize Rocktsar for pc and ps4.I hate you for treating your customers so badly.

    Игра прекрасная, невероятная атмосфера, очень хороший сюжет и затягивающий геймплей, но то что во время рыбалки леска не краснеет как в Far Cry 5 меня очень сильно разочаровала, это не приемлемая ошибка со стороны рокстар и по этому моя оценка такая низкая. Один балл я поставил только из-за того что игра вообще есть.Игра прекрасная, невероятная атмосфера, очень хороший сюжет и затягивающий геймплей, но то что во время рыбалки леска не краснеет как в Far Cry 5 меня очень сильно разочаровала, это не приемлемая ошибка со стороны рокстар и по этому моя оценка такая низкая. Были установлены драйвера нвидия, специально заточенные под игру. Запустилось, все более-менее сносно игралось, после длительных пребываниях в разделе настроек графики.,были подобраны оптимальные настройки. Далее нвидия выпустили свежий драйвер, который, добавил порядка 5-7 фпс. И Тут-же рокстар анонсировали патч. Обрадовавшись этой новости, оставил игру до следующего дня, в надежде на добавку еще пары фпс. Как оказалось позже, надеялся я зря, данный патч отнял порядка 10 фпс, т. е. игра стала работать хуже, чем на релизе. К счастью с фризами и вылетами особых проблем не испытывал, поэтому порывшись в настройках графики, и снизив еще некоторые пункты, получил терпимый фпс, и продолжил проходить дальше. Далее выходит еще один патч, думаю, ну теперь может добавят чуть-чуть производительности, либо вернут те фпс, что, отняли с прошлым патчем. Не тут то было, вместо оптимизации, порезали дальность прорисовки следов на грязи, и появления таких объектов, как, дилижансы, и тени от них, при этом снова сбросив все настройки по дефолту, и самое интересное, что на фпс это никак не отразилось, зато появились какие-то мерцания текстур. Поэкспериментировав вновь с настройками, игра и вовсе перестала работать, после загрузки просто черный экран, хотя звуки и управление работает. Сразу напрашивается вопрос, за что, я вам отдал 2500р., за бета тест? Каждый ваш патч, делает и без того плохо оптимизированную игру, вовсе неиграбельной. В будущем ваш продукт по предзаказу брать точно не стану, пока не буду уверен, что, продукт оптимизирован как следует… Expand

    I'll start by saying, I have a computer that meets the recommended system build, and when the game runs, it is relatively smooth with relatively few FPS drops, I don't have a super beefy computer, but generally the game runs well... that is when it is running. In addition, just getting the game to launch is a nightmare, I often spend over an hour fighting with the Rockstar launcher just to get the game up and running. I constantly get activation errors, despite playing now for over 20hrs, and the game will often crash while loading.

    This game is beyond broken, and I have given up hope that I will be able to play it. Even if you have a mid-tier computer that meets the recommended build I'd pass on the game for the foreseeable future. Maybe I'll be able to play in 3 years when I can afford a top of the line computer.    … Expand

    Absolutely horrible! Bought it for 80 dollars... I own a computer which fulfils the requirements without any issues, but still... the game keeps on crashing. Even after downloading up to 10 GBs of additional official updates... Reinstalling the computer, updating all the drivers etc. I found a solution: I used a tool called Process Lasso to stop the game from being stuck at 100% CPUAbsolutely horrible!     I still don't know what happened in Blackwater. It sounds like a **** Almost as bad as getting millions of suckers to cough up fifty plus dollars to beta-test a buggy pile of **** that never should have left the stable.

    I have to force myself to finish this game as it feels like a chore. The controls are extremely clunky. The game play is quite boring barring a few set pieces for which I gave these 2 stars. The game has innumerable glitches and the main campaign is ruined with worthless filler.     Mind numbing dullness. Nothing but riding along slowly for hours listening to hellishly dull dialgue. Very little action, and if you fail you have to go riding listening to the same often unskippable tedious dialogue for another 20 mins there and 20 mins back. Savegame system is a disaster and rare checkpoints add to the utter tedium of this overhyped garbage. Complete waste of money.

    This game thinks of itself as a simulation and therefore forgets to be a game.

    It's boring, it's one of the most boring game ever. Even a walking simulator is less boring than this game.

    And it's so much scripted, it's insane. The first bounty hunting mission, you need to find a fake doctor.

    You find him near a river on a cliff. You arrest him, he falls in the river. You go on your horse to save him.

    You can see the guy moving in the river, suddenly you see a junction where you think you can catch the guy . You wait...You wait, he does not appear and you fail the mission, but why ? I was sure I saw the guy, he's suppose to come here.

    Well well, on second attempt you can clearly see the guy passing behing a huge rock BUT if you are at a right angle, you can see he's being "teleported", his position changes instantly, why ? Because Rockstar does not want you to use the junction to stop him, they want you to follow their gentle script and get the guy where they want you to get him.

    I can't stand that anymore, I want freedom in a video game, I want to be put infront of a problem and find a way to solve it by myself, the junction should have worked in my example and they destroyed that option on purpose.

    This game is just so bad.

    800M USD of budget for something than even a game made by students can beat easily in terms of gameplay .

    This game was absolutely not ready to be released, there are much better looking games that run much smoother than this, I don't care about plot or gameplay, it's all worthless if it can't be played.

    Персонажи максимально шаблонные, скучные и даже, когда они начинают дохнуть один за другим я должен был что-то почувствовать очевидно, но мне было всё равно потому что я с трудом мог вспомнить кто это вообще были и почему мне должно быть не всё равно?
    В очередной миссии где    Наиграл 64ч и у меня больше нет терпения и сил тратить на это время. Я лучше посмотрю как сохнет краска на стене.

Жаль конечно, что у маленькой инди-студии rockstar games не хватило ресурсов на озвучку.
    Анимации хоть и сделаны качество, но очень долгие и шарится в поисках лута это настоящее испытание к счастью деньги тратить не на что и спустя часов 15 я перестал искать лут, а просто покупал всё в магазинах.
    RDR2 это сплошные рельсы.. заскриптовано до смешного просто ты даже не можешь на полметра повернуть, когда нпс тебя куда то ведет или вот ещё пример была миссия спасти девушку из нашего цыганского каравана. Я всех убил мне надо подойти и развязать её, но в доме разбросан лут и я не могу его подобрать потому что я обязан прямо сейчас развязать её или была перестрелка где на наше цыганское братство напали и в определённый момент мне нужно немного отойти назад т.е игра прям говорит тебе отступи вот туда и я никак не могу убить бомжей с которыми справляюсь как нефиг делать потому что меня по скрипту убивают из-за того что я не отступил и причём пару раз подряд меня убивали через стену и таких примеров можно приводить очень долго.
    Надо отдать должное RDR2 действительно красивая, но нужно понимать, что подавляющая часть мира пустая. Также в отличии от GTA в RDR2 открытый мир хотя бы есть и не служит исключительно декором.
    Я даже не знаю, что сказать про геймплей.. Кат сцена > 10 минут скачаешь из точки А в точку Б > тир > кат сцена > 10 минут скачаешь из точки А в точку Б > кат сцена > 10 минут скачаешь из точки А в точку Б > тир > кат сцена > 10 минут скачаешь из точки А в точку Б и это геймплей "одной из лучший игр в истории".    … Expand

Another hour I spend trying to get audio working, for some reason game doesn't work with aby bluetooth headphones.
    Finally, I am able to run the game - and fail tutorial quest. My goal is to ride behind some guy - and I am unable to do it, as sometimes, when I hit "left" my horse turns left, and sometimes, when I hit "left", my horse turns right. And the guy I am following does not wait, just rides off and bam, quest failed, restart and waste another 10 mins staring into snow and my horse's backside. And this is good summary of the game - further game has exact same problems.
    The controls are so clunky it strips the game of all fun. The game saves progress when it wants, so expect to re-do 5-10 mins of gameplay quite often. During dialog, my possible lines are displayed in lower-right corner, choosing any requires me to press 2 keys at the same time, and all of this while keeping track on whats going on screen (as most conversating happens when something is going on - riding, stalking etc.) and hearing what the NPCs are talking - so the effect is what I say is pretty much random. The in-game journal is intrersting, but written in font I am not able to decipher... I could go on much more. This game could be interesting. A pity it is so poorly ported onto PC.    … Expand

    Amazing! Paid £54 ($69.50) only for it to crash 1 second into the intro video. They literally can't even program a game to make it to the main menu. And no way to report/submit bugs to anyone at Rockstar! Great!

    A two day closed beta period before release would have solved this. Excellent!

    So yeah, i just asked a refund because my RTX 2070 was having trouble to run this upper crap unoptimized game. I wasted almost 2 hours just tweaking, and tweaking and tweaking to get at least a stable 60FPs experience and guess what, none of these worked

    That's what i call a straight **** console port. Stay away from this POS

    Game was running quite good on my 9900k and 2080 super around 60 fps on 2K ultra settings. PC control scheme is terrible tho, but still quite fun game. Then I got to Valentine and it started to always crash there after few minutes. I managed to get refund from rockstar support after hour of waiting, and then trying their ridiculous advice, which did not help.

    A game that runs on a Playstation 4 cannot struggle to run on a GTX 1080.

    Worst port I've ever experienced. It's always 4 hours of fiddling reinstalling EVERY day I want to play this game. It's really crap that it's still this unstable so many MONTHS after release!. Unacceptable.

    Then after 2 patches and some rockstar launcher update it finally launches but I get a massive FPS drop and the game crashes after 30-45mins ingame.. GTA5 runs fine right now on the same ssd drive...     9700K OC + RTX 2080 Ti OC + 32 GB RAM + 3500 read / 3000 write SSD in 1440p (2K) I cant get stable 60 FPS on Ultra to High settings. Using 144/165 Hz monitor so even 60 FPS is not OK.     Pre-ordered the game on PC from Rockstar to try and support them, and here I am 3 days after launch, still unable to play. My refund request hasn't been answered either (obviously Rockstar). Well done! The requested refunds should be released as the product isn't as advertised, simple as that.

I tried every suggestion Rockstar support gave us and nothing works, I also tried many other troubleshooting attempts on my own to no avail. I tried turning off antivirus, updating windows, updating my drivers, uninstalling andGame worked for exactly 4 hours on the first day, then Rockstar out out patches to the game itself and the launcher and I havent been able to launch the game since. I tried every suggestion Rockstar support gave us and nothing works, I also tried many other troubleshooting attempts on my own to no avail. I tried turning off antivirus, updating windows, updating my drivers, uninstalling and reinstalling both the game and launcher multiple times, I tried flashing my BIOS and a bunch of other things. The really horrible part about this is that I dont really care at this point if Rockstar even fixes it eventually because I dont want the game any longer, they have lost my business going forward at this point, unfortunately Epic Games has denied my refund request because they say I played over 2 hours that first 1/2 day that it actually worked. So I am out 80 bucks and have a completely broken unplayable game! This is by far the worst game launch Ive seen in my 20+ years of PC gaming. I have reported Rockstar and Epic games to the FTC (Federal Trade Commission) and I highly suggest you all do the same if you're game is broken and you are also unable to get your money back. Rockstar should be absolutely embarrassed and ashamed of themselves.....even though they aren't. The fact that they have been almost radio silent and are only posting impersonal BS tweets from Rockstar Support that say "they are working on it" tells me that they knew the game wasn't going to work on many PC's and just planned on releasing it anyway and riding out the storm in silence.     Game launched for me on release. But there are major game breaking main storyline bugs that halt progression on the main storyline.
    Then after 12 hours of progression on side missions while waiting for main story to be fixed, Rockstar updates the game and corrupts my save.
    I can move my save game files and it runs, from square one. Game crashes as soon as save game finishes loading.

    They should ditch the Rockstar Launcher altogether and give us Steam Keys. (GOG would be the best.)

    This game is dreadful really. I've given it a point for being pretty but the game play is some of the most tedious I've experienced and even having forced myself to restart it after a year and play through a solid 20 hours, I can find absolutely zero fun in this game.

    Single player is pretty good but the online portion suffers from extremely frequent disconnects, making unplayable. The same error PC users get has been a known issue for Xbox one an PS4 users for over a year, and has yet to be fixed. Buying this title is a gamble.

    (Not to mention the plethora of bugs)

    My biggest warning to anyone considering purchasing RDR2 on PC is that you need to have patience when you set it up. Take the time to go through each graphics option, compare your performance on Vulkan vs. DirectX 12, and tailor the game to your specs. Once you have the game tuned, there’s no better way to experience it than on PC.
