Oct 26, 2015Sick of the developer's greasy business tactics. This game is roughly $110 with all DLC, but even now you can't own the entire game. now you need to either buy drills for stupid tf2 crate knockoffs in order to get all weapon skins, or grind missions for god knows how long.
TL;DR don't buy this game. you'll never own all the content it has to offer. -

Oct 26, 2015In the past, i would of recommended this game. Instead, now all you get is pay to win microtransactions in a game you already paid for. Stay the hell away.
-
Oct 26, 2015Breaking promises to grab more cash, and then completely destroying this game's modding community, as well as putting stat boosts on skins. This game is a husk of what it used to be.
0 out of 10, don't touch with a 10-foot thermal drill -
Oct 26, 2015Man Overkill you made a great game it was awesome playing with my friends as we rob random businesses with the Payday gang. All was great until you did the worst thing you could have done added microtransactions. This game has gone from great to horrible.
"Don't make me regret loving you" -Jim Sterling -
Oct 26, 2015The Black Market Update and Crimefest 2015 just buried the game. Wish they just kept it the way it was after Hox Breakout. Maybe re-balance some of the guns, but the Pay 2 win Drills, and sniper pistols. the game is messed up

Oct 26, 2015I created an account just to rate this game. The developer had a lot of community goodwill after their first game. The second was hyped and underdelivered a little bit, but people were forgiving. They released a bunch of just okay DLC, and people were forgiving. Then the added microtransactions when they said they would never have them. And the people have had enough.

Oct 26, 2015I used to really enjoy this game and even recommended it to friends. However after the last year or so, with the culmination being the micro transactions, Overkill has slowly turned what was once a great game into one that is barely worth playing. Its disgusting that they have not only done this but continue to ignore their player base by basically giving us the finger in response.
-
Oct 26, 2015Developers stated there would never be microtransactions, but they were added anyway, on top of the already excessive amount of DLC. I can't recommend this game in its current state.

Oct 26, 2015Developers; "No, no God. Theere will be NOT microtransactions"
But there are a lot.
II´ll go back to COD...
Overkill, u was once cool, what happened to you?
They stop to hear the players who make your game a hit, and then.... staaaaaaaaaabb in the back.
We´ll never trust u anymore -
Oct 26, 2015Microtransactions in payday 2? a game most thought to be their favorite game, Now its at the bottom of our uninstalled pile due to the greed of overkill.
-
Oct 26, 2015In 2013, producer Almir Listo wrote that "We've made it clear that Payday 2 will have no microtransactions whatsoever (shame on you if you thought otherwise!)"
What a goddamn joke, do not buy this game unless you want to be treated like a wallet with an internet connection.
If you do, just call a sexline. -
Oct 26, 2015"We've made it clear that Payday 2 will have no microtransactions whatsoever (shame on you if you thought otherwise!)"
- PAYDAY 2 Producer Almir Listo
This used to be a great game, now its just not the same. -
Oct 26, 2015Game was fun until they started releasing dlc on a almost weekly basis now they are adding Micro transactions after promising us that they will never do that. do not buy games from those liars
-
Oct 26, 2015Great game turned into a cluster f with crimefest 2015.
Devs went back on a promise that much of the community bought into wholeheartedly. Also, adding stat boosts to cosmetics is just ridiculous -- saying "it's PVE, not PVP. Stat boost just help the team!" is a cop out, and a way to milk money from people. -

Oct 26, 2015"We've made it clear that Payday 2 will have no microtransactions whatsoever (shame on you if you thought otherwise!)" -Payday producer Almir Listo. This game now has microtransactions. I hope this was worth it to them.

Oct 26, 2015Devs promised no microtransactions when game was about to launch, now there are microtransactions for skins that provide stat boosts. Pay2Win garbage

Oct 26, 2015Developer promised no microtransactions and betrayed the community. Just one of a string of events that caused me to stop playing. Save your time for a dev that appreciates you.
-
Oct 26, 2015They made promises which they didn't keep.
They refuse to make good on those promises after the fact.
They attempted to siphon money out of their fans to support their bad business decisions.
They continued to lie/attempt pr **** to justify their greed.
They do not deserve your money/support.
Scumbag developers, caught the EA bug. -
Oct 26, 2015Was fun at first. Then started milking community with poor quality DLC's then want to milk the community with micro transactions. The reason for MT is for better content but have continually released poor content.
-
Oct 26, 2015Do not buy this game. The developer "Overkill" has lied to the community about micro-transactions , ignored pleas to fix bugs in the game since beta and claim to be "independent" while having a publisher back them up.
-
Oct 27, 2015Game is ok and I spent over 250h to it but microtransactions are useless so I stopped playing.
Buy some other coop because payday 2 is now piece of ****

Oct 9, 2013PayDay 2 is one of the nicest surprises of the year. Overkill Software understands the atmosphere of gangster movies and wisely improves these pieces of gameplay, that might have been disappointing in the first game. The sequel is better in almost every way - you can play a thief and enjoy good character development and shooting systems. I really hope, that PayDay 3 will be even better.
