Oct 30, 2015The developers promised no micro-transactions. Said shame on us for even thinking it!
Then they added micro-transactions. But not just that! The micro-transactions weren't just for cosmetics, oh no... they gave you stat boosts on your weapons. Oh, and they nerfed all other weapons so you have to pay.
I hope that greedy pig Almir gets hit by a bus. -

Oct 30, 2015When I got this game it was great..... for 5 hours. The game itself is nothing without the $60 worth of DLC they striped from the base game. To make matters worse they have microtransactions.

Oct 31, 2015Trash since even before they introduced the microtransactions that killed the game. Terrible support for fixing glaring game breaker bugs, zero communication to fix said bugs, all while pumping out DLC expecting more money, and finally attaching stat boosts to skins just so you can be competitive and actually win the game. PaytoWin, **** you Overkill.

Nov 1, 2015A great game, ruined with micro transactions and expensive never-ending DLCs. If you buy the base game, about 70% of the weapons are locked, DLC only.
Their goal is to rip off every penny you have with any way possible. -
Nov 1, 2015The gameplay for this game is currently pretty great.
The developer has proven, through a pattern of dishonesty and disrespect toward the playerbase, to be untrustworthy deceptive. The future of this game is in jeopardy, and the developers don't care about players' opinions; they're pushing forward, full-throttle. -
Nov 5, 2015The game is very bad. There is very little to do without purchasing the game's DLCs, which total to $110 despite this game not being free to play. They also recently added microtransactions, something they said they would never do. Ever. If you want a similar experience to this game that you can enjoy at a fraction of the price, try the first game.

Nov 5, 2015Absolutely awful business decisions by OVERKILL. I literally made an account to post this. You don't lie to the community and expect them to just forget. Terrible.

Nov 10, 2015Before the crimefest 2 update there were already paid DLCs like small weapon packs and level packs. Most of them are very little contents and not cheap. Then now developers break promises and lie again and again. Worst developers ever.
-
Nov 10, 2015Flat out greed killed this game. It used to get massive community support through their DLC model, but it was recently updated to include microtransactions after the developers promised it would never have them.
-
Nov 11, 2015micro transactions have killed the game I once loved, now its full of spoilt kids spending their parents money and overgreed think its the way the game should go.

Nov 12, 2015I spent 170$ on DLC and copies for my friends. I spent 400 hours playing this game, it was worth it then.
Now, it is pay to win and the game has been ruined for me and all of my friends. Don't bother with this game. -
Nov 12, 2015The game was a massively fun co op experience with other fellow gamers. However M/T's as well as a lack of communication with the community. This has sorely eaten away at this once amazing title.
-
Nov 12, 2015This used to be a good game, but the company did things resembling extortion of players recently. Do not waste your time on this game, and move on to something else. Nothing to see here.
-
Nov 12, 2015This game used to be quite good and i used to play it, until it turned into CS:GO with the last patch, now the flame was has started and the community is trying to execute Overkill for that patch. (or so it seems)
-
Nov 13, 2015disgusting and shameless practices by the developers; dont support this and keep an eye out for the names responsible in future games. they'll break their promises and screw you over for money anytime.

Nov 13, 2015"We've made it clear that PAYDAY 2 will have no micro-transactions whatsoever (shame on you if you thought otherwise!)"
Well, who is to be ashamed now? -
Nov 13, 2015Overkill screwing the Completely Overkill Pack buyers and adding the safe (crate) gambling killed the game for me. I am not against paid skins (without the p2w), but in the way they do it now is really bad. Buyers should be able to choose what skin they get.

Nov 13, 2015You are paying for the game , you are paying for the unlimited number of DLCs and then you pay for microtransactions aswell... Nope , stay the hell away from it!!
-
Nov 13, 2015Micropayments gehen gar nicht ...
... wenn man das Spiel vorher gekauft hat.
... wenn sie Vorteile im Spiel bringen.
Was hier leider der Fall ist. -
Nov 13, 2015Do not waste your money on this game, first you will think 'Oh wow, a good game that is pretty cheap" but then you will look and see that the other 3 quarters of the games costs over 150$. Not to mention the developers are filthy people.
-
Nov 13, 2015I have nearly 500 hours in the game and have played since the beginning. But with recent updates of Microtransactions and P2W formula, I have to leave a negative review anywhere I can. I want the old OVERKILL back!

Oct 9, 2013PayDay 2 is one of the nicest surprises of the year. Overkill Software understands the atmosphere of gangster movies and wisely improves these pieces of gameplay, that might have been disappointing in the first game. The sequel is better in almost every way - you can play a thief and enjoy good character development and shooting systems. I really hope, that PayDay 3 will be even better.
