    1.unpatched game bugs 2.incompetent developers 3.micro transactions 4.pay2win 5.too many DLCs 6.lack of free content. i do not recommend this game to my friends sadly because overkill is so bad during these days and does not cares about its own players! please do not same and do not support that type of devs

    This game is **** since they add microtransaction, it's now PAY2WIN. If u buy this game, u need to pay 100$ for DLCs or just do some normal heist with poor weapons then, buy skins to get more statson your weapons.

    OVERKILL take you for a pig with money

    Payday 2:Global offensive is a thing now. Overkill introduced the exact thing of CSGO to payday2, but without skins drop which is very bad for payday 2.

    Before it was a great game.
    But that was a LONG time ago.. very long time ago in a galaxy far far way.

    Now there is Microtransactions and it's a Pay2Win !

    It hurts to write this. I've put over 1000 hours into this game, and it. is. FUN. Lots of fun, especially with a good crew of people. But as of the current date (10/18/2015), I cannot in good conscience recommend any persons purchase this game, due to breach of trust, manipulative business practices, and a complete lack of response by the developers when they make a Krakatoa-sized mistake.It hurts to write this.     The good:

    -Working stealth mechanics that can and often do matter.
    -Shootouts are intense and involving; audio cues are just as important as visual.
    -Customizability on a marvelous scale - skills, perk decks, masks, and guns guns GUNS.
    -Both tactical and strategic - choices you make in how you approach a heist will both influence and be influenced by your playstyle.
    -Replayable just about forever due to randomizers and DLC heists being accessible by joining the lobby of another player.

    The bad:
    -Graphics are a bit dated.
    -SHARP learning curve - expect to get your teeth kicked out your butt the first couple of heists.
    -Random upgrade drops at the end of heists make it very, very hard to get any single specific mod.
    -TONS of DLC - all of it is USEFUL, but none of it is necessary...

    The Ugly(AKA why this review is negative)

    -Microtransactions added as a "free reward" for playerbase success in a recent event, providing paid-unlock-only skins for guns that can improve stats...at the same time as the majority of guns took a hammering from the nerfbat. Direct causality cannot be definitvely established, but this reeks worse than week-old lutefisk.
    -Not one actual word from the current mouthpiece of Overkill in response to player outrage over the above.
    -As a result, the player community is a bit....miffed. Wear asbestos EVERYTHING if you dare venture to the fora.    … Expand

    Weapons are poorly implemented, ammo counts for many of them are just stupid, same with damage and armour penetration capability.

    We already have the payday itself. And we have drills, a whole lot of them. There's no need for special drill to open those safes. Tradeable mods (all the weapon mods) would have been better.

    A whole lot of totally stupid textures in those safes? No, thanks.
    Some of them are nice, but most are just stupid or just recolors. And this is after the Chivalary pack, a stupid DLC with overpowered longbow and crossbow.

    You can take that back, with so-called weapon re-balance, where AMR16 and AK 7.62 still have 90 total rounds with 60 round mags.    … Expand

    Payday 2 was a fine game 1 or 2 years ago but now...

    All your loadout is now worthless and nerfed because of the new game balance.
    If you want to restore your old loadout power you have to PAY to get SKINS

    You read it : SKINS change weapons STATS !!!

    The game (130$ of base game & DLC) is now a PAY2WIN game !

    I can't recommend this game to anyone.

    Free to play game with microtransactions and pay 2 win mechanics. Oh, wait, it's not free to play! But it still has microtransactions and pay 2 win mechanics. Isn't it nice? So just get send them your credit card information and they will get money from your banking account whenever they want.

    The game really was great BUT.

    All promises broken, so many DLC's almost all content locked away, mod support dropped in favor of a microtransaction+skin system that even kan make some weapons better!.

    DO NOT SUPPORT THIS GAME!!!

    Spent hundreds of hours in this game. I enjoyed it so much. Now the devs decided to backstab every single person who bought this game by introducing microtransactions to unlock stuff in-game. Microtransactions in a paid game... I feel betrayed. I feel sick. It's disgusting! This game used to be beautiful. Now it is destroyed.

    OVERKILL and Starbreeze lied to us again by adding weapons skins that is better than base weapons and that you need to pay for 2.50$ per box, or "Safe" as they call it. What's next, PAYDAY 2 goes Free To Play?! It's Greed at it's finest.

    payday 2 broken, devs dont care about community, just money. dont buy unless you want to pay to be beter then evryone. cause with the 30 dlc and new guns that boost stats, its pretty hard to be good with base stuff.

    First the make a lot of promises. Then most of them didn't get delivered. Soon they make regular paid DLCs with ever increasing price and less contents. And now they want you to pay more to skins that magically make a gun more powerful.

    Microtransactions, over a paid game, which is riddled with overpriced DLCs. HA! This is **** is almost criminal.

    Overkill just released the Black Market Update, which literally parallels the CS:GO Arms Update. Overkill said before that they wouldn't introduce microtransactions, and now here we are...

    I bought this game a few years back. It was fine that dlc was being sold to us here and there. Then came Crimefest 2015... Lies upon lies... Micro transactions and nerfs on every weapon from ammo pickup to accuracy. Never would i play this game again or recommend this to anyone.

    I can't recommend this game now because of the microtransactions they've added which are not just weapons skins, but stat boosting weapons skins and gambling crate/key system similar to CS:GO. I believe that microtransactions do not belong in any video game unless it is a Free to Play game.     Overkill promised us in 2013 that there will be no micro-transactions in the game. Fast forward 2 years Overkill adds them to game along with many other broken promises. DO NOT BUY their game. (I have wasted 825 hours to this game)

    they let 3rd party websites die by adding the provided feature into the game and then not responding to emails by the site owner whatsoever.

    now featuring cases, keys and weapon skins that add stats to the weapon which makes the game pay to win.

    PayDay 2 is one of the nicest surprises of the year. Overkill Software understands the atmosphere of gangster movies and wisely improves these pieces of gameplay, that might have been disappointing in the first game. The sequel is better in almost every way - you can play a thief and enjoy good character development and shooting systems. I really hope, that PayDay 3 will be even better.
