Oct 24, 2015Payday 2 has lost my interest completely after the micro transactions fiasco.
Overkill in general lied, stopped listening to the community and pushed out buggy updates. -
Oct 24, 2015Meme masks for the reward for the final day of a community event? seriously? That kind of braindead **** isn't perpetuated enough? Done. I'm out. I'd rather play nothing than support this.
-
Oct 24, 2015PayCounter-GlobalDay. Open Safes with the new micro transactions added into the game even though the developers have promised that they would never add them.
-

-
Oct 24, 2015Screw yourself Oversteal/Starsheez ... you are turning into EA. Never again. Your micro-transaction leeching might be the end of you; and if it is...know that the only thing that killed you was your greed.
-

-
Oct 24, 2015Payday 2 was really good. But now it's just a pay to win with micro-transactions ! (In 2013, Overkill promised that it won't be any micro-transactions)
-
Oct 23, 2015Unoptimised and now with more microtransactions it's not really worth to buy it. Overkill failed to deliver during Crimefest with the content delivered being unsatisfactory and not really free.
-
Oct 23, 2015Warning: Overkill is lier who told us even 2 months ago at there is NO Microtransactions in game.
R.I.P Payday 2 And Overkill Community 2013-2015.
i recommed add to extra tags for PD2 on steam site: Pay2Win And Microtransactions. -
Oct 23, 2015This game was pretty good before crimefest 2 happened. Overkill decided to implement microtransactions into PAYDAY 2. Also the infamy 2.0 and the new menue are bad.

Oct 23, 2015If i wanted to play cs:go i would have bought cs:go, don't make false promises and then fill our game with microtransactions that modify gun stats. I can forgive the constant DLC, but this takes the cake, im giving it 0/10 because i feel robed and this is the only way that Overkill will learn from their mistakes
-
Oct 22, 2015Terrible developer. DO NOT BUY! The devs are liars and attempt to milk you for money through locking almost every weapon unless you buy dlc + Microtransactions.
-
Oct 22, 2015Overkill, this is sincerely my thumbs up to your ruffian and contradictory acts!
Almir, you were once my hero, now you are more hated than Hector himself.
Have a good life, i'm sure i will, I am not hated by almost all the community of a game I made ^^ -
Oct 22, 2015- **** of dlc
- Microtransactions for keys/drills to unlock cases/safes wich may contain skins for weaponry you dont even own (dlc weapons).
- Devs lied to their fans repeatedly
- Toxic community -
Oct 22, 2015Dont buy this game if you want to see my reasoning look at the steam payday rating page im bunny now i have to fill the 150 character word count oh look im done
-
Oct 22, 2015The devs promised we wouldn't have microtransactions, now here they are. Together with bugfixes as community "rewards", some stupid masks, and some songs.
-
Oct 22, 2015Was a great game and I loved it till they added micro-transactions, which to make even worse give stats to guns, great way to ruin a good game no one should buy this game in its current state.
-
Oct 22, 2015Was a great game until they released microtransactions after saying they would never do that.
They also tend to ignore the community and they keep saying "We listen to the community"
As long as they get money, they listen of course. -
Oct 22, 2015Think this game is about buying DLCs. You pay, that makes their day. Took me a while to understand the name.)
There is a goty of this game, but i guess it is unfinished too, containing only around half the DLCs.
Definately needs more DLCs, would be fun then. -
Oct 22, 2015Microtransactions that alter weapon stats and skins , dlc , dlC, dLC , DLC more hollow dlc - stop plz god !
p.s. The game is to take on the sale at a huge discount and 2 DLС with new maps - go with your friends and forget this dying project.
A good example of how money spoil people - started well end up on bad = ( -

-
Oct 22, 2015Devs keep on lying and changing their promises. Good game, but can't recommend. Avoid at all cost, until the devs realise that what mess they've made.
-
Oct 22, 2015Any company which **** its community this hard deserves every negative review possible.
The game was good, Overkill seemed like the only company that cared, then DLC after DLC- which for most games would be too much but for Payday 2 we saw as reasonable for some reason.
Now micro-transactions have crushed the spirit of those who still remained committed to the game. -

-
Oct 22, 2015about 1100 hrs play time here.
I have no idea why copy the skins from CS:GO market place?
payday's dlcs are much enough , why we need waste more money on the useless skins like CS:GO?
R.I.P Payday2 -
Oct 22, 2015A solid game. An AMAZING game. Ruined. Ruined by greed.
I felt like this whole thing started with the DLCs... and now it dropped into horrible microtransactions that makes a game (which I remind you is NOT free to play) a pay to win game.
Sorry Overkill. I loved ya'll... but you disappointed us all :( -
Oct 22, 2015Don't waste a cent on this game because you're just going to have to waste more on it for all the **** DLC they release. Oh, and you also have to pay money to have a chance at getting a good skin.
Oh, and that skin you get could be for a weapon that's from a DLC you don't own requiring you to buy said DLC to use said skin. -

-
Oct 21, 2015Completely overkill. They ruined this otherwise fantastic game.
Overkill just released the new "free" content promised during Crimefest 2015. Microtransactions that alter weapon stats and skins. -
Oct 21, 2015Truly a great game... Probably the best game I've played so far.
Honestly, enough of this ♥♥♥♥ with people complaining about micro transactions. Overkill needs to make money ya know. Also, you can get drills (keys basically) from card drops... No other game that has keys (that I know of) does this. Seriously lads... ♥♥♥♥ off complaining about this ♥♥♥♥. -

Oct 21, 2015This game had variety. HAD. With the amount of Micro transactions, this game is robbing you instead of you robbing banks. The AI in this game is terrible. They don't have human behavior. I mean the concept is cool. This game is not worth getting.
-
Oct 21, 2015it used to be a great game untill just recently its an awful disappointment wish i could delete it from my library forever. They break promises and go back on what they said
-
Oct 21, 2015The game is going in the wrong direction, tones of microtransactions, buggy net code, terrible coding, no testing on new content, do i have to keep going?
-

-
Oct 21, 2015Decent game turned bad by abusive developers 0/10. Once there was a game called PayDay. Here people would go around shooting police. But then one day developer, Ovekill decided to take the name Payday a little too seriously and added microtransexuals and weapon skins.
-
Oct 21, 2015
-
Oct 21, 2015Free content is not micro-transactions. Even if you say micro-transactions are fine, there are numerous things that I will not go into detail here that they promised but not have yet shown up.
-
Oct 21, 2015Greatest game of all time, do not listen to all this haters who cant allow them selfes to spent on their hobby some money. Haters can hate and suck each others balls further away. Cheers

Oct 21, 2015Micro transactions. Enough said. But meta critic needs me to write 150 characters. What else needs to be said? Horrible business practice. Oh look there's 150 characters.
-
Oct 21, 2015Payday 2 decision to go to a microtransaction business model is a great idea with no downsides. It will draw in many new players that through small purchase of cosmetic items with trivial weapon buffs will ensure the funding of future content for years to come.
-
Oct 21, 2015Microtransactions. I Loved this game until they lied to us. they said that they will never bring microtransactions into the game. 2 years later. microtransactions
I will still play and love this game but until they remove microtransactions they are getting a thumbs down. ;( -
Oct 21, 2015Overkill is worse than EA,this game should be called pay2win,not payday 2,more than 400 hrs wasted, thanks overkill, and f......you very much!!oh,i almost forgot this game has tons of bugs, connection problems, filled with hackers and the developers don't listen to the community,do i need to say more?
-

-
Oct 21, 2015I loved this game and I have over 225 hours in it. to bad the developers ruined it with micro transactions. Two years ago overkill said they would never put micro transaction in this game because it would ruin it. I guess they should have taken there own advise. what a greedy developer.
-
Oct 21, 2015If Crimewave safes and drills were 100% free, dropped every match, this would still be bad, because the safes are not smart loot. Game is now pay to play, pay to dlc, and pay to win.
-
Oct 21, 2015Don't give those greedy f**ckers any more money. They're milking everything they can out of this game before the player base leaves due to them treating us horribly. "There will be no micro-transactions in PAYDAY 2." Right. So i guess this game should now be called Pay2Day. Since all you do in this game is pay.
-
Oct 21, 2015It was a great game, but the developers have become arrogant and spoiled it with microtransactions. RIP Payday 2. GG WP.
P.S. ну и мрази же вы, отвратительно -
Oct 21, 2015Never lie to your customers, hopefully it never pays off. But just in case you get away with it here is my 2 cents, This game is half finished on basically all platforms its been released on with a clear focus on rather making DLC than fixing it, and finally going back on their word. You're welcome Overkill, enjoy my meta vote.
-
Oct 21, 2015Developers choose the worst possible way to earn money on this game. They don't want to make a good quality content, they just want a cow that can be easily milked.

Oct 21, 2015Game bugs risen up even the today's patch (CRIMEFEST day 6). Nearly any maps with the turret truck is unplayable thanks to its bullets! this proves ovk does not care about QA.
-
Oct 21, 20152015's Crimefest introduced microtransactions, even though the company stated many times before, that PAYDAY 2 won't have microtransactions. A now ruined game made by a company of amoral liars.

-
Oct 20, 2015Why? Don't ask me. Just ask why Ovekill lied to all of us and **** us up with micro-transaction with all that DLCs remain. Haha so funny isn't it? They haven't earn enough money with one single **** game.
-
Oct 20, 2015The developer for this game broke promises they made early on regarding their business model, specifically that microtransactions within the game (for items, weapons, unlockers, et cetera) would never be a part of the game. The Crimefest update goes against the original promise and what the community values and appreciates the game to be.
-
Oct 20, 2015I made an account just so i could say F**k You Overkill we don't want your pay to win micro-transaction. This used to be my favorite game but i just uninstalled it after this.
-
Oct 20, 2015
-
Oct 20, 2015While I do enjoy the game I will have to stand and give it a 0 until a discussion can be had on the matter. I will still play this and PDTH but my negative review for PD2 both here and on Steam will still stand until Overkill gets its act together.
-
Oct 20, 2015
-
Oct 20, 2015This game was my favorite game before the nerfed all the weapons and came out with stat boosting weapon skins that cost real money to get in order to try and recover some of the weapon stats they stole from you.ive uninstalled and will let this game rot in my games list forever now
-
Oct 20, 2015This backlash is an incredibly good thing. I'm pleasantly surprised how vigilant this community is - and as far as I'm concerned, this is the correct way to respond against any other developer and publisher that wants to take advantage of their community.
-
Oct 20, 2015I feel like we may have been trolled, one of the rewards was a trollface. For now I'll leave this rating here because I want to give overkill benefit of the doubt

Oct 20, 2015a great game. They fixed sh*tstorm FINALLY. so, it turned to a great game again. Play for simon, play for wolfs screams, play for that music..........
-
Oct 20, 2015While this used to be a new and innovative game when it was released. I cannot say the same for it now and its current design and reward choices. Ideally the development and publishing teams will listen to player feedback and curb some of the customer exploitative parts of this game. However until that happens I can only say to stay away from this product.

Oct 20, 2015Probably the worst game I ever played. I really cannot recommend this game any less. We have put up with a lot of bull crap over the years. Broken and delayed promises. Shovelware dlc. And a whole host of other things. But this really takes the cake. Uninstalling and never playing again. Hope overkill either changes or dies.
-
Oct 20, 2015The developers broke their own game with micro transactions and expensive dlcs. Before the recent updates the game was fine, now I can't recommend it until it gets fixed.

Oct 20, 2015Game is unplayable now due to people getting revived out of nowhere and constantly crashing (I swear it has NEVER happen before that CRIMEFEST). Gamebreaking bugs nad balancing issues haven't been fixed yet.

Oct 20, 2015I have 500+ hours in this game. I used to love it. But with the most recent update all the guns have been nerfed to **** or buffed to the point of insanity. Not to mention the micro-transactions, which the devs PROMISED wouldn't be in the game in the first place! And since these micro transactions involve stat boosts the game is now P2W. **** you Overkill.
-

Oct 20, 2015A once great game absolutely ruined by micro-transactions. Developers have just decided to milk what is left of the community (the people who make this game great) and everyone has had enough. Buy this game if you fancy having Overkill make a complete mug of you...such a shame, I loved this game once.
-
Oct 20, 2015Developers are just pure greed at this point, i personally would recommend avoiding anything they make or are associated with.
they turned a fun game on its head and just made a paid game pay2win, a game that already has tons of dlc -
Oct 20, 2015
-
Oct 20, 2015This game used to be good, overkill ruined the game with the most recent update adding microtransactions. Shame on you overkill. I regret paying as much as I have for the DLC in this game.
-
Oct 20, 2015Overkill lie.
Upon release PAYDAY 2 had potential. Unfortunately OverkillStudios ran it into the ground with the newest content released for Crimefest 2015. We were promised free rewards for our hard work that we put into completing varied challenges. We were given microtransactions, that's not free content Overkill...
Dont buy this game, you'll only end up regretting it. -
Oct 20, 2015
-
Oct 20, 2015Look, a lot of us got over the fact that Overkill decided to spam mediocre DLC every couple of weeks, but micro-transactions? Screw you, not only did you promise from the start that there will never have micro-transactions. Disgusting, absolutely disgusting.
I'm not even angry with Overkill anymore, I'm just straight up disappointied. -
Oct 20, 2015"We've made it clear that PAYDAY 2 will have no micro-transactions whatsoever (shame on you if you thought otherwise!)"
Let me know how that works out -
Oct 20, 2015Oh well... Almost 900 hours played since 2013. Now look at my vote for this game.
Wanna know why?
Crimefest II
Day 1
Microtransactions (and a really **** untested weapon rebalance)
Says it all.
From a company that prided itself for listening to their community to a publisher-enslaved, lying money-grabbing whore that still claims it's indie. -
Oct 20, 2015The developer promised NO MICRO-TRANSACTIONS !!!!!!!!
What they do? They add micro-transactions for content that gives you stats and turning it in a pay to win game. And this was released during an event that was suppose to release free stuff.
I'm done with Payday 2 and it's community. -
Oct 20, 2015progression from an amazing coop shooter to a pay2content
in the beginning free and paid dlc were balanced now its garbage
with the original game itself you dont have access to like 75 % of the weapons ? with some of them being game changing (he shotguns, sniper etc...) -
Oct 20, 2015Bunch of liars at Ovk, i rather buy the next COD than playing this one more time, atleast Activion does not lie to the customers.
Insted of doing a real statment the mods on the hub of the game just lock and delete threads againt's Ovk, this gaming industry makes me puke. -
Oct 20, 2015Game was, and still is amazing at its core. But overkill went greedy and screwed the community.
Now all i can say is pay2win, microtransaction and fee2pay.

-
Oct 9, 2013PayDay 2 is one of the nicest surprises of the year. Overkill Software understands the atmosphere of gangster movies and wisely improves these pieces of gameplay, that might have been disappointing in the first game. The sequel is better in almost every way - you can play a thief and enjoy good character development and shooting systems. I really hope, that PayDay 3 will be even better.
