Oct 30, 2015When I got this game it was great..... for 5 hours. The game itself is nothing without the $60 worth of DLC they striped from the base game. To make matters worse they have microtransactions.
-
Oct 30, 2015I can only say that I am incredibly disappointed.
Overkill have failed to deliver features advertised before launch.
Overkill lied about microtransactions.
That's it, Overkill. I'm out. -

-
Oct 30, 2015The developers promised no micro-transactions. Said shame on us for even thinking it!
Then they added micro-transactions. But not just that! The micro-transactions weren't just for cosmetics, oh no... they gave you stat boosts on your weapons. Oh, and they nerfed all other weapons so you have to pay.
I hope that greedy pig Almir gets hit by a bus. -
Oct 30, 2015I preordered payday: the heist, I preordered payday2, I have every DLCs at some point, I had 100% achievemnt at some point. I supported them all the way. It turns out they dont respect their players.

Oct 29, 2015Don't bother anymore. It's ruined. Just wait for the devs to either fix their mess or fail. As others have stated, it's disgusting now. I'm ashamed to have wasted 229 hours and over 60 dollars.

Oct 29, 2015This game was amazing but they rebalanced it to nerf all the free guns. Then they released paid skins to fix the nerf they just did. The best part is that when the game was launched the developers promised there would be no micro transactions and that's just what they added.

-
Oct 29, 2015Would have recommended this game heartily in the past. Not any more. Game's been changed into an enormous fee-2-pay game, with a hefty asking price, an enormous amount of DLC, on top of one of the most annoying implementations of microtransactions, a pay-to-win one at that. Avoid.
-
Oct 28, 2015Unfortunaly the developers took the road to Greed. This game amazing as it is doesnt warrant anymore support. To betray a hardcore community like this developer did is nearly a crime in it self.
-
Oct 28, 2015All it could be described as is a world of idiocy. Payday 2 becomes Pay2Win, they absolutely ruined what could and was a pretty excellent game. A sad indictment of the current gaming industry.
-
Oct 28, 2015this game has Microtransactions,Microtransactions,Microtransaction, more Microtransactions, oh look more Microtransactions, and one last thing this game has MICROTRANSACTIONS
-
Oct 28, 2015I want my money back, they George Lucas'd me. I have sunk thousands of hours into this game, it was one of my all time favorites. Too bad the people running it decided to lie to us, even worse that I'll never see a refund. Goodbye Overkill Studios, it's been bittersweet, you will never see my money again.

Oct 28, 2015Pay2Day: Microtransactions Edition is a rip off that you should under no circumstances buy. Once a great game, its developers have since flooded it with countless small dlc packs and most recently microtransactions after promising multiple times that there would be none.

Oct 28, 2015Meh, done goofed - Microtransactions and bad DLCs...
The result is a angry mob and greedy devs. Money blended them. Payday 2 was once a great game everyone loved and played and bought, but now after MILLIONS !!! MILLIONS they tell us they have to impliment Microtransactions because they got 50 new people ?! Seriously ? -
Oct 28, 2015"There will be NO micro-transaction in PAYDAY 2!" "We've made it clear that Payday to will have no micro-transactions whatsoever." They added micro-transactions.
-
Oct 28, 2015
-
Oct 28, 2015MICROTRANSACTIONS GALORE. In a game that SHOULD'NT have them. I refuse to buy anything from Overkill for the rest of my life, would rather bathe myself in sulfuric acid.
-
Oct 28, 2015People are annoyed by microtransactions but the truth is the game is still one of the best games on steam and you'll enjoy hundreds of hours on it before you get a chance to get bored.
-
Oct 28, 2015After +$100 of DLC and numerous broken promises and dreams, Overkill is now happy to introduce the much sought after FREE microtransactions update.
Featuring:
Steam market introduction
Weapon crates safes
One-time use keys drills, for a mere $2.49
Weapon skins with better stats
Soul crushing disappointment
Keep that money flowing :( -

Oct 28, 2015The game started out very nicely and I genuinely enjoyed the ride for the most part. But after breaking so many promises to the community, and the recent decisions by the developers that seem to be disconnected from their original goals, I feel they are simply leading us into an ugly spiral of monetization that I don't want to get caught in. Get out while you can.
-
Oct 28, 2015I relay enjoyed this game but after this whole micro-transaction fiasco I just can't do any different than giving this game a 0/10. This is just to show the developers that this is unacceptable...
-
Oct 28, 2015Heh, well Black Market update..... good joke overkill , good joke. Well if you dont remove skins there will be no community = no community no game = no game no cash = no cash go bankrupt. like you did before :)

Oct 28, 2015Payday 2 has been out for a while, and along the way it's got tons of free content as well as QOL. However, lots of content that has been promised has been late, or completely forgotten such as safe house customisation. Way too much DLC, far too expensive for the meager content it gives and to top it off, micro transactions. **** you Overkill, **** you.
-
Oct 28, 2015Inacceptable that a company change their position about microtransactions "because reasons". They claim that made things based on community but seems that the money is the real reason behind.
-
Oct 28, 2015microtransactions. they said they never implemented it. now with the "crimefest" they introduced a copied skin-box system with "drills" which cost 2,99$
-
Oct 28, 2015One there was a great game. Then it got stuffed with ton of DLCs. But that wasn't enough, so they added microtransactions. Now it's just a money vacuum.
-
Oct 28, 2015Overall a fun game but I honestly can't get behind a game where the devs promised not to **** the community in the ass, and then announced they are ****ing their community in the ass, and then proceeding to **** every bodies asses for those sweet, sweet dollarydoos.
-
Oct 28, 2015In the Past it was a good game but now it has microtransactions in a game that you have already paid for. And the Promise there will be no Microtransaction was also a lie. Overkill 0/10
-
Oct 28, 2015I can safely say that with the addition of microtransactions, this game has become more if a cash grab than it already was. So to my complete displeasure, I have to say that Payday 2 used to be my favorite game since it's first game. But now it has to be my least. 0/10
-
Oct 28, 2015The developer are not independent, that's the first lie. Than they lied about adding Microtransactions and now we have it. DLC money leeching. DLCs are a joke because they dont fit to the game.

Oct 28, 2015The game itself is very good and i had so much fun when i played, but the company behind this game is awful.
They lie, they brake promises, and they made dlc after dlc, of course expensive dlc´s.
As a customer of this game, i feel lied and cheated, and no one wants to feel this way as a customer. -

Oct 27, 2015In the past, i would of recommended this game. Now all you get is pay to win microtransactions in a game you already paid for.
Boycott overkill
Boycott payday -

-
Oct 27, 2015Well this game is actually fun as **** however the company running it is currently attempting brand suicide. Don't buy this game. you will regret it. it wants your money, not your time.

Oct 27, 2015The game is fun? Yes
But can't deny the fact that devs want to make micro-transactions a thing on non-F2P games, specially games with a ton of DLCs. -
Oct 27, 2015way too many dlc's and with the adding of micro-transactions it just put a colossal strain on the community. they from a sell point with pre-orders, said there would be no micro-transactions yet now there is. players constantly lose connection to hosts and game can also crash, I wouldn't even recommend this game to my worst enemy.

Oct 27, 2015C'est de la MERDE!!!! It was tasteless, people realy can't cook today !
from my point of view microtransaction is a rubbish spice that should not be added on a co-op multiplayer themed sauce, not to mention DLC's overflavored taste made me want to puke!!!
seriously, overkill... take extra courses in cooking ,for god sakes.... -
Oct 27, 2015Desync issue, broken engine mechanism, poor in-game graphic optimisation, abusive kicking, massive volume of DLCs
Crimefest 2015 rewards are disappointing.
Broken promises. -
Oct 27, 2015Horribly buggy since day 1 suckfest. Balance is unbalanced. And now all you get is pay to win microtransactions in a game you already paid for. Don't come even near.
-
Oct 27, 2015Game was great, now this microtransaction crap? 100+ dollars in dlc? dont make enough money? bull. I bought this game on sale last year durning crime fest. Was great put in 200 hours with in 1 month. Now, now I barely touch it cause all the dlc that came out made it more pricey. I go out of my way to look for key sites to buy dlc.
-
Oct 27, 2015I used to enjoy the game, and I'm sure it still is enjoyable but adding microtransactions, even after the devs said they wouldn't is just, no.

Oct 27, 2015Overkill lied to the community that there would be no microtransaction, Now by putting skin with Payday 2 benefits became Pay2win . Let'go to the GREEDFEST
-
Oct 27, 2015
-
Oct 27, 2015Overkill made promises they couldn't keep, mods don't work anymore and payday 2 is filled with bugs, DLC's and now micro-transactions...
Great job overkill -
Oct 27, 2015Promising no microtransactions was as selling point. Now they've gone back on their word and shown they have no respect for their fans unless they're shelling out money on a regular basis.
-
Oct 27, 2015Previously this game was quite a good time. Quality community, and for once I could play a game with no worries that it would burn an even bigger hole in my pocket.
Alas, with new micro-transactions and the stat boosts achieved from them, I can not recommend this game to anyone. Do not waste your time on this game. -

Oct 27, 2015
-
Oct 27, 2015Sadly the developers changed the game 180° so its not what it used to be.
It was fun, hell i payed a lot of money for dlc and now micro-transactions with stat boots?!
Seriously, stay away from it and its greedy filth-factory called overkill. -
Oct 27, 2015
-
Oct 27, 2015Twas good in the beginning. But more and more "buy it" options spoiled the game. It was kinda OK when those options included unnecessary things, like new skins, but introducing microtransactions, that change balance... nah.
-
Oct 27, 2015Used to be amazing. Was Left 4 Dead for people who enjoyed customization and having fun. Now is disgusting microtransaction nightmare. Has ZERO magic that it used to have now that it is nothing but overwhelming bloat of paid DLC and REALLY **** microtransactions. #stopoverkillnow #greedwave #honesty

-
Oct 27, 2015I think that this game is terrible now due to overkill's lack of community feedback and utter disregard for basic human decency when dealing with its fan base.
-
Oct 27, 2015So many crappy DLC's. Once the game was good but now overkill only melks the cashcow. And the Skins... really? Ugly af and the "payday tax" on community markt is too damn high.

Oct 27, 2015The developer promised NO MICROTRANSACTIONS
What they do? micros for content that gives you stats and turning it in a pay to win game. And this was released during an event that was suppose to release free stuff.
I'm done with it. -
Oct 27, 2015Get Payday 2 if you like supporting people who don't care about their userbase and want to milk them for all they're worth. Also if you like paying for a game, then paying for 30+DLC and then keep paying for stats.
-
Oct 27, 2015Thanks for ruining the game with micro-transactions, never going to play this game again. **** you Overkill I hope you die in a fire. Stay away from this game.

Oct 27, 2015Utter Toilet, the game itself is half decent but has no longevity and should have included a COPS mode or a multiplayer mode where players can play cops or robbers rather than just adding in crappy microtransactions when they said there wouldn't be.
-
Oct 27, 2015Game is ok and I spent over 250h to it but microtransactions are useless so I stopped playing.
Buy some other coop because payday 2 is now piece of **** -
Oct 27, 2015What else is to be said that HASN'T been said. I've been playing this game for quite a while now, and for it to completely destroy the games balancing through these new updates is really crushing and it has taken the from the game. I'm giving it a flat zero because any new players stand NO chance now (mind you, they didn't that much before).
-
Oct 27, 2015Tried it to see what all the fuss was all about and loved it. Very funny gameplay and the microtransactions doesn´t bother me. I´ll simply ignore them and keep playing.
-
Oct 26, 2015microtransactions..... then sending a statement pretty much "my way or the highway" .... welp i'm taking the highway on this one. Please don't buy this game!
-
Oct 26, 2015
-
Oct 26, 2015Do not buy this game. The developer "Overkill" has lied to the community about micro-transactions , ignored pleas to fix bugs in the game since beta and claim to be "independent" while having a publisher back them up.
-
Oct 26, 2015Was fun at first. Then started milking community with poor quality DLC's then want to milk the community with micro transactions. The reason for MT is for better content but have continually released poor content.
-
Oct 26, 2015They made promises which they didn't keep.
They refuse to make good on those promises after the fact.
They attempted to siphon money out of their fans to support their bad business decisions.
They continued to lie/attempt pr **** to justify their greed.
They do not deserve your money/support.
Scumbag developers, caught the EA bug. -
Oct 26, 2015Developer promised no microtransactions and betrayed the community. Just one of a string of events that caused me to stop playing. Save your time for a dev that appreciates you.

Oct 9, 2013PayDay 2 is one of the nicest surprises of the year. Overkill Software understands the atmosphere of gangster movies and wisely improves these pieces of gameplay, that might have been disappointing in the first game. The sequel is better in almost every way - you can play a thief and enjoy good character development and shooting systems. I really hope, that PayDay 3 will be even better.
