Oct 26, 2015Pre-Crimefest this would've been a Solid 9...but Micro transactions and unprofessional standards from OVERKILL makes this Below 0, Do NOT purchase this game
-
Oct 26, 2015I've bought that game and all DLCs (around 30 of them) and what I've got for that? Weapons were nerfed and now you have to gamble with 2.5 Euro safes to get stats back. Yes weapon skins now have stats, some of them are really OP.
-
Oct 26, 2015The game is fun but DO NOT BUY IT in its current state as the developers have recently added microtransactions and while that may seem like it doesn't affect you, the microtransactions and DLC of over $100 USD have created a Pay to Win system that is just trying to take more of your money. Steer clear of this title, there are plenty of other co-op games that will treat you better as a consumer.
-
Oct 26, 2015Overkill created an amazing game, one of the only horde based co-op shooters out there.
But they decided it needed Pay2Win micro-transactions on top of the massive mountain of DLC, even after they promised not to, so they can shove it.
DO NOT PURCHASE THIS GAME IF YOU VALUE YOUR WALLET, get something worth your money, like candy crush or a crippling gambling addiction. -
Oct 26, 2015microtransactions.
False advertising.
Amir lied.
I want you to return the money.
Don't Buy this Game.
Is too much to fool the player.
Exactly Overkill !!! -

-
Oct 26, 2015Buggy micro-transaction filled mess. So many lies and broken promises from the devs.
Promised that there would never be micro-transactions but added them anyway. -
Oct 26, 2015This game has been ruined by pure greed on the developers and their refusal to listen to to the community. Excessive DLC and Micro transactions. Stay away. I will never give another penny to these developers.
-
Oct 26, 2015I enjoyed the game during free play, but the amount of dlcs and now the added microtransactions which they don't intend to remove makes me feel the company only cares about our money.
-
Oct 26, 2015the micro transactions and the stupid dlcs destroyed a great game,in fact is a awesome game but the creator of this game (overkill) destroyed payday 2 with releasing tons of dlcs and putting micro transactions in the game
-

-
Oct 26, 2015It was a fine game when the Devs were not completely greedy. Now it's just another Pay2Win game that will give unfair advantage to those whales going RNG like a freakin' slot machine with microtransactions. It seems that Konami teached them to HIT THE LEVER!
-

-
Oct 26, 2015I actually thought this game was really really good in the past. However after seeing their recent updates and micro-transaction implementation, I can no longer say that this is a game and developer that i'd recommend
-
Oct 25, 2015This game WAS good, but not anymore I'm afraid. All those positive reviews from critics speak about Payday 2 BEFORE new updates were added. The developers lied, and straight up TOLD us they weren't gonna change a thing.
-

Oct 25, 2015As a person with over a 1000 hours in Payday 2 and owning all the DLC for the game, I used to like it and support the developer Overkill Software...
But now, they care about money more than making a good enjoyable game.
They themselves at one point said "BUT remember - GREED KILLS!"... Too bad they seem to have forgotten that... -
Oct 25, 2015Their business model slowly got greedier and greedier, until it turned to simply taking advantage of the player base and lying to their faces. I would advise no longer trusting this company.

Oct 25, 2015The developer Overkill stated there would be no micro-transactions. Fast forward and guess what? Micro-transactions. A straight up lie. Don't support these dishonest people.
-
Oct 25, 2015A game that I once adored, and bought with the promise that microtransactions would not be added. That promise was broken. Stay away from this game.
I went as far as to permanently delete it. Let this game die, and let its death stand as a warning to all those publishers and developers who wish to abuse their customers.
Overkill, we'll see you burn for this. -

-
Oct 25, 2015This is really bad see such a great game fall so hard because stupid developers mindset.
They lied, they made alot money grab dlc's and they also disrespect the entire community.
We all feel the stab when their great deal of Crimefest event shows-up. Microtransactions. -
Oct 25, 2015They added micro transactions to this game, after they said there would be not micro transactions. This is unacceptable. Please do NOT buy. Sincerely, a fan of the game.
-
Oct 25, 2015
-
Oct 25, 2015Loved this game for years sadly its kinda turned into a husk of its former self due to the continual broken promises and now micro-transactions that are here to stay, its a real shame the game was great while it lasted though.
-
Bien hecho Overkill. -
Oct 25, 2015Payday 2's new microtransactions are a total train-wreck. I cannot begin to fathom why Overkill even began to think this was a slightly decent idea. Please undo this.
-
Oct 25, 2015I will save my fingers the extra work to type out my hatred for this game. what was once a game I loved has now been riddled with bugs, glitches, unfinished DLCs and micro-transactions.
-
Oct 25, 2015This is everything that's wrong with modern gaming. Paying for the game is not enough. Get ready to be bent over and every penny extracted from your once beautifully tight and desirable coin purse.
-
Oct 25, 2015Seriously? If you can read you know. "In the past, i would of recommended this game. Instead, now all you get is pay to win microtransactions in a game you already paid for. Stay the hell away.
" -
Oct 25, 2015They added Microtransactions to a game with 150$ worth of DLC, DO NOT BUY, Just stay far away, I joined from when the first PAID dlc game out, I thought it was great back then. Now it's terrible
-
Oct 25, 2015**** you overkill.
- Sincerely everyone.
How the mighty have fallen. What started off as a great developer and game have spiraled down into a hodgepodge of greed and corporate douchiness. They've put out so much overpriced **** DLC ($130) worth of ****, people bought it, and now they've added micro transactions. Go **** yourselves. -
Oct 25, 2015The business practices of Overkill are beyond questionable. First off, you have a game that already costs a chunk of cash, but then add on to that around 30 paid DLC packs.
Recently, they decided to reward community efforts with microtransactions. Disgusting. -
Oct 25, 2015
-
Oct 25, 2015The Developers have abandoned caring for this game or it's community and their passion has devolved into corporate greed.
They don't deserve any of your money, pirate the game or go buy Killing Floor 2 / Left 4 Dead / Vermintide. -
Oct 25, 2015
-
Oct 25, 2015You pay over 120$ for a 2 year old game to get all the content and would do they give you? Microtransactions. I loved this game. Have over 500 hours in it but the developer has changed and the publisher is going to ride this game into the grave. Don't bother getting hocked now. It's over for this one. Downhill from here.
-
Oct 25, 2015In its hay-day this was the go to game, now that they have said screw you to the fans by not listening to the ones that didn't want to shell our money for stupid DLC's and adding in microtransactions! (which they said they would never do) I advise ANYONE to run far away from this game and go spend it on something useful.

Oct 25, 2015It was great. The many players co-existing in peace. But then everything changed when the microtransactions attacked. Sucks even more because we were promised no microtransactions. Now the devs are ignoring the community and paying attention to only their own lust for money. If I wanted to have devs screw me over, I would have gone to EA or Ubisoft
-
Oct 25, 2015"You either die a hero, or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain."
Overkill got microtransactions, but at which price ? One big, angry community that still remember how Payday wasn't supposed to become the "Pay2win" it has become. -
Oct 25, 2015This used to be a great game. There were occasional DC, a view of which were necessary for the game to be playable. Now there is a new $5 extension every month, with each weapon stronger and less and less thought out. To truly get into this game takes hundreds of hours and probably close to $80 or so. Just get a better game that has a less **** developer.
-
Oct 25, 2015
-
Oct 25, 2015I have played over 1000 hours since its release in 2013. Payday used to be a great game, but it has rapidly devolved into a system designed to milk as much money possible from its once great community. If you are interested in buying this game, I urge you to reconsider: Overkill / Starbreeze have and will continue to entirely change the game to manipulate players for money.

Oct 25, 2015Used to be a great game, had tons of fun playing heists with my friends. But the developer is one of the worst. They promised no micro-transactions. What do they do? They add micro-transactions.
The developers are **** Don't buy the game. -
Oct 25, 2015Stay away, game is now entirely pay to win. The game was originally one of the best co-op shooters I have ever had the pleasure to play, but it has since been ruined by money hungry devs.
-
Oct 25, 2015Stay away from this game and anything else overkill or sunbreeze may create. if they did it once they will do it again. Once a dev shows their colors like this, it is near impossible for them to recover.
-
Oct 25, 2015
-
Oct 25, 2015The gameplay and gun selection and variety of ways to play are all amazing and I love this game, but Overkill has decided to **** it's community with microtransactions that add stats. Don't bother.

Oct 25, 2015Payday 2: Microtransactions edition 2015
Never forget: 15/10/2015, the beginning of crimefest, where it all started.
"Microtransactions will never be put in the game (shame on you if you thought otherwise!)"
And what does overkill release on the first day of crimefest? **** MICROTRANSACTIONS!

Oct 25, 2015Even in the AMA there are blatant lies. This is terrible for a company, and Im honestly disgusted that I spent so much money on the game and trusted the developers so much before this.
-
Oct 25, 2015Payday 2 was a promising but undercooked game upon release that has been slowly poisoned by downloadable content and the addition of microtransactions. Sweeping gameplay changes often upset the game's balance and community. The weapon handling and setting of the game provided many hours of entertainment, but unfortunately that game doesn't exist any more. I wouldn't recommend this to new players.
-
Oct 25, 2015
-
Oct 25, 2015The developpers are blatantly dishonest and piss on their fanbase over and over. Game was fun 2 years ago, avoid this title now. They promise everything and not only don't deliver but they had the gall to introduce microtransactions. On a 30$ game with 120$ worth of DLC.
-
Oct 25, 2015I played Payday 2 for over 200 hours, and have purchased 13 out of the TWENTY EIGHT paid dlcs. There has to be a point where we draw a line. I am so fed up with this whole situation that I have uninstalled the game. If you want to purchase the game, please think twice.
-
Oct 25, 2015They just had to add micro-transactions even from all the DLC they added to this game. If you're planning to play this game for the long run be ready to spend 130+ dollars.
-
Oct 25, 2015Pay2Day: Globally Offensive
Payday developers Overkill has utterly messed up beyond recognition in this update. It's a shame really, as their game was one of the most unique games I had played before this update. -
Oct 25, 2015
-
Oct 25, 2015back in 2013/2014 this game still has been a great thing in the gaming world. Now it is a pure waste of cash since with over 20DLCs which are also together even more expensive than anything made by EA there are Microtransactions! That's right fellow reader! A game what is practically almost 60 dollars or MORE worth now also have this lovely feature added. Oh golly!
-
Oct 25, 2015Say hello to microtransactions cuz Im not going to!
No need to say go F YOU to almir I already did!
Dont buy it you wont regret it!
If you want want to play it pirate it! -
Oct 25, 2015You love **** ? Play with Overkill's payday 2 and his microtransactions after so much dlc and jump animation which is a REWARD for the crimefest(greed)fest
-
Oct 25, 2015The game released and had solid updates, but the developers are did their best to ruin the game with obnoxious DLCs and the recently added microtransactions. Payday 2, as the only notable game of its genre, is now plagued by the worst of the worst business practices. Shame on OVERKILL for cashing in, delivering a surefire middle finger to the whole community.
-
Oct 25, 2015Ruined with the pay 2 win skins.
Need I say more? They promised that they wouldn't put micro transactions into this game, but greed screwed them over anyway. -
Oct 25, 2015"There will be NO micro-transactions in PAYDAY 2!"
"We think it's a great feature, and the backlash was definitely a surprise."
"...the numbers speak a different language. Players seem to be loving it." -
Oct 25, 2015Yes this is a standard **** of a carpet bomb review but they deserve it. You can't lie to your user base and not expect to get your **** pushed in review wise.
-
Oct 25, 2015I can just copy what others said. Microtransactions, broken promises and lies, betrayment with their complete overkill DLC, and a lot of a lot of other awful stuff. Don't buy anything from Overkill nor try anything of them. They will rip you off.
-
Oct 25, 2015
-
Oct 25, 2015There is nothing I can say to make up the 150 characters needed to submit this post that no one else has said. I would just like this game to finally die.
-
Oct 25, 2015
-
Oct 25, 2015They added microtransactions after they said they wouldn't. They don't care about the community. Never buy anything from the devs ever again. It's a huge disappointment to us all. In addition, the game looks bad and runs choppily on even high end computers.
-
Oct 25, 2015
-
Oct 25, 2015In my 500 hours of playtime, I've always accepted the overpriced DLCs. Microtransactions, however (that were implemented as "free content") are not acceptable. Thanks for ruining a great game Overkill!
-
Oct 25, 2015Great coop, love the game. Hate the money grabbing rip off merchants at OVERKILL. Lying and cheating your community does not bring you benefits. If OVERKILL go back to their roots and engage and listen to their community, Payday can be made great again!
-
Oct 25, 2015
-
Oct 25, 2015Used to be a great game. I have at least 150 hours on record and have bought lots of the DLCs the published.
However, now it's completely ruined by microtransactions. Don't buy it! -
Oct 25, 2015To OVK, you may benefit alot in the short-term from microtransaction but I am absolutely certain that in the long run, this greedy move of yours will definitely hurt you in the long term. One day when it starts becoming obvious that it was a short-sighted move for quick profit and you decide to remove it, we will all be gone and it will be too late.
-
Oct 25, 2015They released a game and then put in microtransactions after a few years. Seriously ruined an amazing game and broke the communities trust. Money grabbing nasties.
-

Standart game : 20€
DLC: More than 100€
Microtransactions which Change weapon stats
Dont buy this game, dont support Overkill
i hope that they will Change their minds someday -
Oct 25, 2015After Almir's recent unflinching stance on the horrid microtransactions and the Completely OVERKILL pack content being untruthful to the description, along with other offenses Overkill has made, I see no reason to support them further. Here's my farewell to the devolving studio - I look forward to their future projects, and wish their reputation a bitter end.

Oct 24, 2015Was fun until the developers added microtransactions and Pay2Win options after saying they never would... Uninstalled and probably won't revisit it. Oh well, plenty of other games out there I can enjoy and not be nickle and dimed.

Oct 24, 2015A once great game by a once great company followed by a slide into some of the worst moneygrubbing ever seen in the games industry, If you buy this game, expect 80+ dollars of DLC, microtransactions, and being fed lies by the developer.
-
Oct 24, 2015im not buying a million dlc's and paying to open op certain things just to enjoy a rather good piece of gaming.. the game itself is great but not very enjoyable when you can barely buy basic equipment without spending real money from the base game..
-
Oct 24, 2015- Paid Game ($25.00 at full price)
- More than 20 paid DLCs to date ($5.00-$8.00 each). The most powerful weapons are locked behind DLCs. They've recently rebalanced the weapons to ensure this is the case.
- Recently introduced micro-transactions involving RNG, so you're never certain you'll get the skin you want ($2.95 for each random drill drop). Also, 80% of the skins look trash.

Oct 9, 2013PayDay 2 is one of the nicest surprises of the year. Overkill Software understands the atmosphere of gangster movies and wisely improves these pieces of gameplay, that might have been disappointing in the first game. The sequel is better in almost every way - you can play a thief and enjoy good character development and shooting systems. I really hope, that PayDay 3 will be even better.
