Oct 19, 2015This is the first and last product I'll buy from Overkill Softwares. I can no longer trust them after the screw-up of promises. They promised no microtransactions but added it. They promised all content of CRIMEFEST was free. it wasn't.
First and last. -
Oct 19, 2015I have over 1100 hours in this game, and i love it to death. Unfortunately, they added microtransactions during a free bonus giveway week and screwed us. They promised no microtransactions in writing 2 years ago and now they break it. The game is unbalanced, buggy, and now unplayable essentially. A MINIGUN makes you run faster now.
-
Oct 19, 2015>100$ worth of DLCs
>Insane power creep with DLC weapons
>Bugs that remain since the freaking pre-release beta from 2013
>Horrendous communication skills from the developers
>Goddamn microtransactions, with weapon skins that have stat changes 2 years into the game's life cycle
Once was a good game, then Starbreeze got the gold fever. -
Oct 19, 2015Thanks for making it Mircotransaction.Just so great you know,Dlc almost cost a 100 bucks and now this! The greatest update ever! Now i wonder about you guys. When will it be pay monthly? cause you know.It would be way more fun then. Oh and ps: Make us pay 60 bucks monthly to get to update from now on,
-
Oct 19, 2015Overkill lied, cheated and executed cheap business tactics, all for the money. Great game but experience has been ruined by developers. Overkill claimed that they are " discussing this problems with our staffs and community members", but I personally think they are considering whether to impale us deeper with their blade of treachery and deceit.
-
Oct 19, 2015Bought the game, all the DLC's that came out month after month knowing that It's fair and now MICROTRANSACTIONS. Play, play, play and get a "reward" that you have to buy keys for half the price of a DLC to unlock a RANDOM skin that gives you some extra stats. And on top of that if the weapon is a DLC one, you have to buy that DLC to use it. Worse company than Ubi and EA combined.
-

-
Oct 18, 2015A once really fun game being progressively ruined by one of the most greedy devs I have ever seen, that notoriously **** in the face of the community and then promises to "have a look at it" but never does.
-
Oct 18, 2015Payday 2: Global Offensive
Overkill straight up lied to their customers and destroyed a once great game and destroyed an entire community overnight. They deserve what is coming to them. Just go look at the steam forums for it it's a train wreck. This is coming from someone with nearly 900 hours in the game. They need to remove the day one update from crime fest. -
Oct 18, 2015
-
Oct 18, 2015But this? What is this? Back in 2013 I read that you guys WERE NOT GOING TO ADD MICROTRANSACTIONS. You guys exactly said "NO!, GOD NO!". (Google this article for further information). And WHAT IS THIS HELL WHAT IS IT?. Almir you're a cancer to the humanity I hope you die in a terrible way.
-
Oct 18, 2015Get your $#it together overkill. You said you would never have micro-transactions, and you do this? F^ck you. I have played over 250 hours of this game, but right now, I am boycotting this traitor of a game.
-
Oct 18, 2015Terrible game. Don't waste your hard-earned dollar on this hot garbage. Awful. Overkill just wants to turn you upside down and shake you down for your money. No respect.
-
Oct 18, 2015Remove the Micro transactions!!!! I used to love this game now its trash. Good job Overkill you ruined your game. RIP PAYDAY 2. I am outraged at this stupid move with the "Black Market".

Oct 18, 2015Free content, you said. No micro transactions.
An update dedicated to free content and the first day, you shove micro-transactions down our throats.
Thanks for the crates and keys, Overkill. Just can't make enough money, can you? -
Oct 18, 2015
-
Oct 18, 2015$20 to purchase, over $100 in DLC and now cosmetic skins that also increase your stats? And the skins are randomized so you can unlock a skin for a gun you don't have because you didn't buy the DLC? Are you kidding me?
-
Oct 18, 2015Since the last update from the 15th October 2015, the game now contains paid skins (you can't loot) which give an unfair advantage. I seriously cannot recommend that game or the publisher/developer behind it. As you may have read they plainly lied to everyone who bought the game and it's not the first time. Keep away from that game and them !
-
Oct 18, 2015Payday 2
Overkill is a bad company. Don't support them and their horrible lies, micro transaction. nothing. do everything you can to avoid this garbage. Used to be fun but this is pathetic. -
Oct 18, 2015Shameless it is.
R.I.P PAYDAY2.
"Good job"OVK.
Lying and greedy for all the time.
They are never getting enough.
More DLC for more money.
Right now, they just broked promiese. -
Oct 18, 2015Microtransactions, unpatched game bugs. Guess Overkill just wants to milk more cash cow and decides to add adding in game. They think more than 100$ worth of DLCs are not enough. Greedy devs who is self centered and ruins the game for most people.
-
Oct 18, 2015Developers has made blatant lies in a blatantly manner. Fans continued to get ignored with canned response on day 4.
Microtransactions is what ruin the game, you can see how people are very angry. -

-
Oct 18, 2015Welcome to Payday 2, land of DLC's and microtransactions upon microtransactions. I put in over 1000 hours into this game and believed in OverKill. Now our reward for being loyal customers is the option to pay more money for what was promised as free content. Considering PD2 has more DLC than any other FPS Multiplayer out there today is this really necessary? I think no.
-
Oct 18, 2015Micro-transactions aren't free...
I mean, the addition of them was free. The unbalancing of weapons was free... But, free **** is still **** And getting the actual content behind the microtransactions isn't free. -
Oct 18, 2015I have almost 700 hours in this game. I truly love it. Overkill have now ruined this game with micro-transactions. It is terribly sad, and I honestly hope it gets fixed with an apology and a refund for all of those duped into buying anything in this update. Terrible mistake in an otherwise great game.
-
Oct 18, 2015
-
Oct 18, 2015Releasing tonnes of DLCs to make yourself easier in gameplay
And now skins can boost up stats...
Besides, breaking a promise is definitely hurt to most loyal PD2 fans.
Great game, but unreliable company -
Oct 18, 2015Would have rated this a 9 a week ago, I didn't mind the cross-promotional characters/masks and reviews helped me steer clear of the most useless DLC but this microtransactions crap is a step to far. Don't buy til they fix the weapons and remove the black market update.
-
Oct 18, 2015
-
Oct 18, 2015Lol the first game with free rewards after a community event that introduces paid weapons skins, gg Overkill, way to go about rewarding your old times fans.
-
Oct 18, 2015Microtransactions, something they promised would never be in the game is now the star around which it orbits. Why buy a game that would go back on such a promise, it would be like buying food at a restaurant with at the table that you have to pay for separately to use on the food.
-
Oct 18, 2015Microtransactions. It's all I can say... Microtransactions.... Is all I can see now... Microtransactions...Microtransactions.....Microtransactions.... EVERYWHERE! D:
Blood Money...
Rob a Bank, to Rob these virtual Banks. (o n o/) -
Oct 18, 2015Pay2Day has become a pay 2 win game. no only you have to pay for the game AND the DLCs, but you also have microtransactions.
better spend your money somewhere else -
Oct 18, 2015
-
Oct 18, 2015Due to the fact that OVERKILL is blatantly resorting to pay to win mechanics by releasing top tier weapons behind pay walls, I would highly recommend not getting this game unless you can afford the full experience. Along with buying DLC that comes out very frequently with weapons that render other weapons that you have already, pointless.
-
Oct 18, 2015Payday was something special, something new,fun to play.
WAS
now it's just p2w with microtransactions and overprized miniature dlcs.
This game will be dead soon. -

-
Oct 18, 2015Lies, lies, lies! It's all what you get when you buy this game! Pay2Day with microtransactions and ultimate common pistols with damage higher than full-equipped shotguns!
-
Oct 18, 2015game was ruined by greedy, incompetent developers. don't waste your money on this pay to win garbage. the game is a buggy mess of dlc and microtransactions
-
Oct 18, 2015Greedy, lying devs, bug-ridden with massive de-syncs, unbalanced weapons, loads of dlcs, micro-transactions, no dedicated servers, cheaters. This game is just a cash grab made by the EA-like Overkill. Stay away!
-
Oct 18, 2015Very greedy and shameless lying developers, don't even give them a buck.
For those that don't know the company added microtransactions and trading economy system to the game introducing a more toxic community. -
Oct 18, 2015Got the game earlier this year because of all the hype. The non-DLC items suck and more than half the game is DLC!!! And now micro-transactions. Goodbye pd2.
-
Oct 18, 2015Don't give support to Overkill, they only want your money, and will make you pay for everything, despite they say they wont !
They broke the game at Crimefest 2015. Liars, you'll pay us. -
Oct 18, 2015Greedy, lying devs, bug-ridden with massive de-syncs, unbalanced weapons, loads of dlcs, micro-transactions, no dedicated servers, cheaters. This game is just a cash grab made by the EA-like Overkill. Stay away!
ruined what was the best game on steam! -
Oct 18, 2015Lied to their community by promising to never include microtransactions, and also by introducing said microtransactions under the pretense of it being a "free reward" for the community to enjoy. On top of that, said microtransactions give straight-up stat boosts.
-
Oct 18, 2015Pay2Day: Global Offensive
Pay to win mechanics. Want a grenade? That's DLC. Want a good weapon or weapon mod? That's DLC. On top of all that they now sell skins that give in game stats. -
Oct 18, 2015Micro transactions kill the game.
It is like a middle finger in the face when you pre-ordered the game and supported it from day one to this day.
Greed kills Overkill. -
Oct 18, 2015Game ruined by overkills. Has overwhelming overpriced DLCs and they add trading so it is extremely bad. Boycott payday 2 and overkill games!
Say no to microtransactions! -
Oct 18, 2015Overwhelming amount of DLC. And then...after promising not to include micro transactions, they do this? To hell with this game...and all the time I spent playing it.
-
Oct 18, 2015say no to microtransactions say no to microtransactions say no to microtransactions say no to microtransactions say no to microtransactions say no to microtransactions say no to microtransactions say no to microtransactions say no to microtransactions say no to microtransactions say no to microtransactions say no to microtransactions
-
Oct 18, 2015Microtransactions, the cancer of gaming. Before the new patch payday was a very good game even though it had too many DLCs. It is however hit with the cancer of gaming.
-
Oct 18, 2015Microtransactions.
This alone made many players left.
Time to go back to Payday the heist, at least there's no microtransactions for now!
I recommend not buying anything from OVK. -
Oct 18, 2015Pay 2 Day
There's too many DLCs, when u buy the base game without dlc you have like 1/3 of the game..
The game is filled with bugs, DLC's and micro-transactions. It's like a pay2win, the game is 2 easy, op weapons... -
Oct 18, 2015I really liked this game. I've played since day one but celebrating the four year birthday of payday with micro-transactions, best idea ever overkill.
-
Oct 18, 2015
-
Oct 18, 2015One word. Microtransactions.
Multiple words. Lying devs added microtransactions after they said they would not.
Devs nerfed the guns to the point that using anything other then a pistol is pointless.

Oct 18, 2015Overkill has recently launched its self-destruction sequence by making the game join the steam economy.
It was the most hated update in PAYDAY history, obviously an self-destruction for PAYDAY and its community.
Wouldn't be surprised if the game shut down. -
Oct 18, 2015**** microtransactions! **** microtransactions! **** microtransactions! **** microtransactions! **** microtransactions! **** microtransactions! **** microtransactions!
-
Oct 18, 2015The most recent update added Pay2Win mechanics on top of already hilariously expensive DLC. Do NOT buy this game in its current form - it's disgusting and unethical behaviour.
-
Oct 18, 2015The additional of microtransactinos has spilt the community into two - the vocal mass and the vocal minority.
Obviously overkill knows about it but refuses to take action. -
Oct 18, 2015The community was lied too. Micro-transactions had been released when Almir said it would never happen. OverKill will not make a single buck from me this day on. I hope The Walking Dead game dies in production. You don't deserve to be a video game company if you lie to your customers like this. I hope Putin annexes your country.
-
Oct 18, 2015Lying scumbag devs. False advertising, pretending to care when all they really care about is those last few pennies in your wallet. Microstransactions in a fully priced game. Beyond a **** joke.
-
Oct 18, 2015Microtransactions, boys. Developer repeatedly promised not to add them. They did. It affects the gameplay as well, so they don't deserve anything more than a 0.
-
Oct 18, 2015payday 2 used to be a decent game back in the day. but with dozens of paid dlc's and recent implementation of microtransactions it became a cash grab. stay away!
-
Oct 18, 2015Game was launched broken with promises, became DLC fest. Defended by fanboys, publisher saw that and now they put the final nail in the coffin with MICROTRANSACTIONS (on top of the SIMS amount of DLC)
Now the internet is pissed off and even the fanboys can't their **** anymore, that's a REALLY bad sign. -
Oct 18, 2015Microtransactions disguised as a "free update to the community for all the support", really? I could have bought the DLC:s part, as a way for them to earn money, but when one implement skins with stats who you need to unlock through crates?... Nope, that's crazy. You went too far Overkill.
-
Oct 18, 2015Don't buy this game at it's current state. You're gonna end up paying a whole lot of money for bunch of useless DLC and you'll get microtransaction system as a "free" bonus from lying, cash-oriented developer.
-
Oct 18, 2015We completed so many challenges during the road to crimefest, and were promised free content! What did we get? Microtransactions and a tiara! Thanks overkill, you sure do appreciate your fan base. To think I pre-ordered this game....
-
Oct 18, 2015
-
Oct 18, 2015Been playing since 2013, I clearly see where overkill and payday 2's downfall are at.
Overkill promised no microtransactions and they put it ingame anyway.
That is coming from someone with 2k+ gamehours and have bought all DLCs excpet the clover character pack and the alesso heist DLC. -
Oct 18, 2015I only have 500 hours put into this game, but my desire to support Overkill is nonexistent at this point. They have followed the path of EA, and for that, **** them and their micro-transactions.
-
Oct 18, 2015
-
Oct 18, 2015
-
Oct 18, 2015Payday 2 ? More like pay to be good. You can spend extra money on this game for weapons with higher stats that you can´t get normaly and be a pro. With microtransactions Overkill did overkill this game.
-
Oct 18, 2015**** of DLCs
>microtransactions
>B2P
Maybe I should just give them my credit card? Would be easier :v
Game is nice but it drains way too much money. Of course, you don't have to have everything but this game without DLCs feels blant for me. -
Oct 18, 2015such an aweful development team, screws over the community for greed left and right. Does nothing but promise and not deliver, releases QOL updates as actual content.
-
Oct 18, 2015Developer lies straight into the face of the community and now deletes any negative feedback on the forums.
they let 3rd party websites die by adding the provided feature into the game and then not responding to emails by the site owner whatsoever.
now featuring cases, keys and weapon skins that add stats to the weapon which makes the game pay to win.
Garbage -
Oct 18, 2015Almir Listo is an unbearable **** Do not get roped into his unbearable **** Seriously, just go play Left 4 Dead or go for a walk or take your car to the car wash or go get a smoothie or... it doesn't really matter. Just stop giving money to Almir for his ****
-
Oct 18, 2015Overkill promised us in 2013 that there will be no micro-transactions in the game. Fast forward 2 years Overkill adds them to game along with many other broken promises. DO NOT BUY their game. (I have wasted 825 hours to this game)
-
Oct 18, 2015REMOVE MICROTRANSACTIONS, I ALREADY PAYED 60+ EURO FOR THE **** DLC, DON'T F**K US OVER, OVERKILL, OR WE'LL F**K YOU UP --------------------------------------------------------------------------
-
Oct 18, 2015Guys, the thermal drill, go buy it!
RIP in peace Payday 2.
2012-2015
Payday 2 is now the new runescape.
October 15th never forget.
Screw Almir and Overkill And starbreeze. -
Oct 18, 2015I cannot recommend this game anymore due to blatant lies the developers told. This is the worst day in gaming world. One cannot just see it go!........

-
Oct 18, 2015Liefest 2015 - Apparently, never including microtransactions is a promise that doesn't need to be kept. 100 hours completely wasted on this **** fest. Great job.
-
Oct 18, 2015I bought this game a few years back. It was fine that dlc was being sold to us here and there. Then came Crimefest 2015... Lies upon lies... Micro transactions and nerfs on every weapon from ammo pickup to accuracy. Never would i play this game again or recommend this to anyone.
-
Oct 18, 2015First the make a lot of promises. Then most of them didn't get delivered. Soon they make regular paid DLCs with ever increasing price and less contents. And now they want you to pay more to skins that magically make a gun more powerful.
Microtransactions, over a paid game, which is riddled with overpriced DLCs. HA! This is **** is almost criminal. -
Oct 18, 2015Overkill just released the Black Market Update, which literally parallels the CS:GO Arms Update. Overkill said before that they wouldn't introduce microtransactions, and now here we are...
-
Oct 18, 2015They lied when they said there would be no microtransactions.
This last update **** it up. People pay for the game, then pay for the tons of DLC this game already has, now they want even more money? Would not recommend anyone a Pay2Win -
Oct 18, 2015
-
Oct 18, 2015Because PAYDAY 2 totally needed micro-transactions.
OVERKILL and Starbreeze lied to us again by adding weapons skins that is better than base weapons and that you need to pay for 2.50$ per box, or "Safe" as they call it. What's next, PAYDAY 2 goes Free To Play?! It's Greed at it's finest.
Awards & Rankings
-
Oct 9, 2013PayDay 2 is one of the nicest surprises of the year. Overkill Software understands the atmosphere of gangster movies and wisely improves these pieces of gameplay, that might have been disappointing in the first game. The sequel is better in almost every way - you can play a thief and enjoy good character development and shooting systems. I really hope, that PayDay 3 will be even better.
