Oct 17, 2015Pay 2 Win day 2
More skins in the new update and more bugs
It's pay to win now, as the skins cost money to buy and have stat boosts
It already had DLC content over $100 -

-
Oct 17, 2015Overkill is for me worst game company in the world they lie dont keep promises beg for money and ban their fans with thousands of hours of gameplay it was nice WAS dont buy it
-
Oct 17, 2015Spent money on DLC's to support them and keep the game alive for years. Sure, microtransactions do work, but not like this. The skins give advantages. Also promised no microtransactions, but oh well. Lying is a thing. I'd be lying if I'd say this is a good company. The game isn't what is's used to be.

Oct 17, 2015It used to be good then came the characters dlc every other day and the paid buffed skins. Choke in it greedy devs. Tgen to make people buy skins they nerfed certain weapons. 2 years ago the lead dev said that they would never do microtransactions. Well we know better now.
-
Oct 17, 2015A delightful fun time, until the developers added microtransactions that changed weapon stats, then nerfed the weapons to the point that without microtransactions, weapons are useless. Do not play.
-
Oct 17, 2015The OVERKILL crew wants to get ALL your money by all means. 100$ + micro-transactions for skins that change weapon stats is the worst marketing idea ever.
Playing the game be ready to deal with desynch that makes coop stealth impossible, bugs, and disbalance (coz DLC weapons are 200% better than vanilla). -
Oct 17, 2015Negative review.
Because **** microtransactions in PD2 world. Overkill promised us a game without any weapon skins and microtransactions. Time has passed, director of the game has changed and now developers are spitting on us, forgetting their promises.
PD2 is dead for me. -

Oct 17, 2015I used to like this game but after all those lies I just simply have to do this. I don't like what you have done to this game. You killed payday 2 mod culture and replaced it with microtransactions that you promised to keep out of this game. And after all those dlcs' I bought.
-
Oct 17, 2015The developer promised NO MICROTRANSACTIONS yet they still have them
It was a good game but not it has microtransactions.
Please remove or the review will stay the same -

-
Oct 17, 2015Developers aren't putting effort into this game anymore, in fact, the developers are actually trying their hardest to sink it with microtransactions that affect the game balance and half-assed content whilst ignoring the users.
Don't buy this game, don't buy their DLC, don't even think of giving them a single penny from your hard-earned money until they undo all their wrongdoings. -

Oct 17, 2015It was a good game. Until the dev team turn it in the **** pay-to-win game I've ever seen in my whole life. It doesn't worth anyones money, cause the only thing they want is to win more and more money and don't give any content for it. Promises for safe-house customization are being made since 2013. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME.

-
Oct 17, 2015Lying Dev's adding in micro transactions after saying that they wouldnt, very very VERY pay to win (dlc is more than the game by a LOT, pay to have fun/expand the game, the community even has the nerve to try to defend overkill saying they're right and we're the ones to the wrong
-
Oct 17, 2015I used to like to play this game, but the direction the Overkill came taking is affecting the game.
All we get are more and more paid DLC, some being totally clueless (maybe funny?).
Now they added micro-transactions in the game and they had promised not to.
If I could ask for a full refund, I would. -

Oct 17, 2015It was a fun game.
WAS
The developer doesn't care about the community as much as they care about their own wallets. They outright lied, and when the backlash happens, they didn't give any news or reaction.
I was one of the long playing gamer, got 550 hours on my steam, and here i am giving 0 score. -

More balance More bugs More dlc More pay2win content pls Thank you for the unique incomparable example of the annihilation of the game that everyone loved so much , I suspect that the next step will be paid UNIQUE glow in the dark mask which will need to make a unique achievement in the unique maps of DLS using weapons of DLS .Oh wait , it… Expand -

Oct 16, 2015pay2win in everygame is not tolerable, like really
its saddening when a PC/Console game going to implement microtransaction in their game, especially when the publisher already said they will not adding micotransaction to game -

-
Oct 16, 2015Now you can buy skins to make your weapons better
Pay to win/10
We were promised no micro-transactions, and then we got micro-transactions.
Welcome to Payday 2: global offensive. The event during which the micro-transactions were announced was supposed to contain ALL FREE content. First thing that is released is pay to win.
would not buy again. -
Oct 16, 2015
-
Oct 16, 2015The developers lied and their business practices are very shady.
Not only do you have to pay to open crates in the game but the skins give you stat boost effectively making the game more pay2win then it already is. Not only that but the crates also give you skins for DLC guns that you haven't even bought. -

Oct 16, 2015Payday 2 was ok until developers start adding microtransactions in a retail co-op game. it's not even MMO - all the game network mechanics is based on peer-to-peer. It looks stupid and money grabbing scheme - stay away. even other titles which has microtransactions have way to get items not spending a real money and those titles hosted on developers servers.
-
Oct 16, 2015The developer stated clearly and publicly at multiple times that there would be no microtransactions in game, ever.
The latest update introduced microtransactions. The game has already been heavily monetized with DLC.
The developer lied to customers and sold the game under false pretenses on Steam. Do not support them or their profit-mongering behavior. 0/10 for lying to loyal customers. -
Oct 16, 2015This is what happens when the developers break their more important promise... And now they are on the recieving end of the **** I'm glad, they have been threating their fanbase like **** it's time to return the favor.

Oct 16, 2015WELCOME TO PAY2WINDAY: GLOBAL OFFENSIVE!!! Microtransactions ad skins that give your guns stat boosts. Oh did I mention pistols do more damage than shotguns. Do our best to like this game after the new update because even Payday vets are dropping this. Te entire community is in a uproar with good reason. I loved this game so much, damn shame to see what it`s become.
-
Oct 16, 2015Game just became pay to win, no longer good. Wished it stayed out of the micro transactions. It's a fun game, before it became pay to win. Developers originally stated there would be no microtransactions. Couple years later, they implement them...

Oct 16, 2015Completely unprofessional company. Abusive to it's customers and incompetent in its content creation. They drove this game off a cliff and charged 4.99 a month the whole way. Now, after promising never to have micro-transactions, they've introduced them on the game's anniversary.
-
Oct 16, 20158=====D Hey Overkill, you're a worthless braindead inbred cancer causing HIV infected failed abortion. Screw you and you're disgusting microtransactions. Why can CS:GO/TF2 have microtransactions, but not you're drunk, inbred, failed abortion of a child, Payday 2? It's because thoses games are free to play, cheap and don't have $130 worth of DLC jammed up it's butt. 8=====D

Oct 16, 2015PAYDAY 2 already have a lot of DLCs, now they introduced micro-transactions. Who speaks is a person that played that for 5 hundred hours.
It's not OVERKILL, it's OVERGREED. -
Oct 16, 2015
-
Oct 16, 2015Constant lies.
Bugs aren't get fixes for years.
A lot of paid DLCs (DLCDAY2), a lot of broken promises, a lot of stuff which should have been implemented months or years ago.
Overkill Software treat community so wrong, I even have to ask "do they realize that their customers paid for this product"? -
Oct 16, 2015Well done Overkill, you put challenges for free rewards...then...release microtransactions for the first day reward, you could copy cs go system ..but no...you just introduce an not optional system with skins that have special stats. You already have a game with more than 100$ on DLC, you know want to convert P2 into a F2P P2W Game? no.. just no ._.
-
Oct 16, 2015
-
Oct 16, 2015Once proud franchise destroyed by microtransactions. $200 for the entire game, all the DLC for the right to buy even more stuff in game. Chests you can't open without spending $2.49 each.
-
Oct 16, 2015This game costs over $100 with all DLC's. Now OVK wants to add micro-transactions. OVK promised NO micro-transactions from the start. OVK seem to think gamers are some kind of cash cows.
-
Oct 16, 2015Overkill should write a book called "How to kill a game in one easy update". I don't know how but they actually managed to destroy their game with a single update...
-
Oct 16, 2015After all of DLC they've been released, Overkill still seeking for money, and here we go a 5 GB update of Skin stats weapon. Absolutely pay2win , Payday 2 CSGO Deluxe edition, not a good game anymore so dont waste your time on this game !
-
Oct 16, 2015This was a great game in 2013. It's been all downhill since the end of 2014. Note the reviews. Positive ones in 2013, negative ones around the beginning of 2015 and then tank in October 2015. Mostly related to unfulfilled promises and tanking the stats of hard earned weapons to encourage a pay to win model.

Oct 16, 2015Broken promises and overbearing and toxic monetization methods. Weapons are incredibly imbalanced and the developers treat the community as whales rather than as proper consumers.

-
Oct 16, 2015Had a lot of fun with this game for a long time. This is the only reason I can give as high a rating as a 4 based on what Overkill has recently done. Adding microtransactions to your game is one of the very best ways to say piss on your veteran players, and to give the impression you only care about making money and new players. Overkill you are terrible and should feel terrible.
-
Oct 16, 2015
-
Oct 16, 2015The game costs 20$. There are 17 DLC at 5$ a pop. The game just got "rebalanced", aka all weapons nerfed into the ground and skins with stat boosts added that you also must pay for. This game is now just a money making machine for the developer. It was good when it come out, but they have subsequently ran it into the ground with their shoddy dlc and nickel and diming tactics. This has to stop.
-
Oct 16, 2015The developer promised NO MICROTRANSACTIONS
What they do? micros for content that gives you stats and turning it in a pay to win game. And this was released during an event that was suppose to release free stuff. -

Oct 16, 2015The devs are massive liars introducing microtransactions even when they told everyone they would not. **** this game and **** its devs. Never believe anything Almir Listo says
-
Oct 16, 2015You really disappointed me with this recent update, Overkill; and you might not get the same respect as you once earned with this community ever. I mean, stat boosts for god damn skins? A feature so unoriginal and coined by CS GO but you don't care because you're after that $$$, am I right? Of course I am, and you know it.
-
Oct 16, 2015It used to be one of my favorite co-op games.
Overkill software ruined it completely in just one year thinking only about money.
Please, DO NOT buy it. -
Oct 16, 2015Just another game that fell into the micro-transactions pit.. It was fun for the time when it was an honest game, but that time is long gone. I suggest trying to get a refund if you currently have it. Steam will willingly refund it, considering the company lied about it's game and the criminal practices it's company is currently taking part in.
-

Oct 16, 2015Can't trust the devs anymore. They once cared for their game, now they only want money.
Stop contradicting yourself OVERKILL, give us good content, not **** excuses for DLC and microtransactions WHICH YOU ONCE SAID WON'T MAKE IT INTO THE GAME. -
Oct 16, 2015Lying developers, they say no microtransactions, BAM microtransactions, then they try to brush it off with the next update. In the road to crimefest event, it was said that the rewards would be free, but i dont think paying for skins is a free reward
-
Oct 16, 2015
-
Oct 16, 2015Added micro-transactions. In a paid game. with paid DLCs. After saying that it would never happen. As a "free" update meant to be a reward for the community's efforts in an event. Oh, and they aren't just for cosmetic items, they actually interfere with the gameplay.
-
Oct 16, 2015They said they were going to rebalance weapons and make improvements to the game....They decided the best way to do this was to add micro transactions!!!
-
Oct 16, 2015Heist simulator 2013? Yes
TF: GO simulator 2015 no
micro transactions destroyed this game
And they nerfed all he weapons :( it makes me sad that it happened -
Oct 16, 2015
-
Oct 16, 2015Overkill managed to gather 30k+ users to play at the same time in order to beat a challenge, now the same strategy is being used against Overkill because they implemented skins boxes (that affects stats) that required to buy a key with real money to unlock.
Ironic results are ironic. -
Oct 16, 2015CS GO Away.
You promised us ten days of free fun. I was planning on getting a group of friends together and having them try the game out, get em into it, play around, have fun.
Now I'm leaving a 0 score review.

Oct 9, 2013PayDay 2 is one of the nicest surprises of the year. Overkill Software understands the atmosphere of gangster movies and wisely improves these pieces of gameplay, that might have been disappointing in the first game. The sequel is better in almost every way - you can play a thief and enjoy good character development and shooting systems. I really hope, that PayDay 3 will be even better.
