Oct 17, 2015Overkill has wrecked the game with the so called Black Market update, it is an point of no return - the big gaming presses knows about their blatant lies.
-
Oct 17, 2015If you love greedy devs and overprices games, why not, after all ...
Well no, let's be honest, it used to be fun. I mean, the first 3 DLCs were good. Then we got 2 years of **** wich we all paid for because ovk had our trust.
And what did we got ?
Paying skins for a free event, yay -
Oct 17, 2015So after all the DLCs and after saying that they will never include microtransactions, now here they are, just trying to get all the money from the players. Too bad...
-
Oct 17, 2015It was an amazing game until they added microtransactions. Microtransactions that they promised multiple times they wouldn't add. It doesn't help that they added these microtransactions during crimefest, an event that rewards the community for in-game work with "free" DLC.
-

-
Oct 17, 2015Developers are untrustworthy and the entire game is just a big money jump. The game is super expensive to play since all of the good heists are DLC and all the good weapons/mods are in the DLC as well.
Would never recommend/10. -

Oct 17, 2015This game was great up until they decided to add weapon skins ala CS:GO. That'd be all fine and dandy on its own, if not for the fact that said weapon skins provide stat boosts to your guns, and cost real life moneydollars to get.
-
Oct 17, 2015Sadly this used to be a really good game. However with the recent course the developers have chosen this certainly is not a good game anymore. The game has gone from a fun experience with quite a lot of dlc to choose from to a game that has become pure pay2win. The microtransactions debacle has personally made me quit and uninstall this game.
-
Oct 17, 2015It was once the best game, but they lied to us about microtransactions. I can not let them win. IF enough people make this a bad review on this game they WILL have to notice and undo the damage that they have done! HELP the cause and JOIN us!!
-
Oct 17, 2015The developers have once more made it cear that they don't care about their player base. They promised there would never be microtransactions, and now they suddenly introduced them as a "free reward" for a community event. As if the monthly overpriced DLC weren't enough, this game is now Pay2Win.
-
Oct 17, 2015Blatant lies!!! They said no micro-transactions Overkill lied to the players! Lies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Very disappointed with overkill! giving you a 0 score now.
-
Oct 17, 2015Terrible devs. Looks like they don't have eyes or ears to listen to the community whilst saying that they love their community. Beats my ass. Just plain horrible.
-
Oct 17, 2015Thanks for the micro-transactions.
It was announced that it would never exist in the game...
The worst is to release it as a reward for the community. -
Oct 17, 2015
-
Oct 17, 2015This game used to be good. However, developers seems not to core about community at all nowadays. Do you like microtransactions in pay to play games? If not, you'd better not play this game.
-
Oct 17, 2015Two years ago "Nah, we'll never introduce micro transaction guys !!! Who do you think we are ?!?,??"
Today " We are excited to introduce micro transactions. all weapons stats you got from paid DLC will be **** up and useless. Have a nice day." -

Oct 17, 2015Adding microtransactions as a reward for the 4th anniversary after 17 days of goals reached by the community.
Overkill cupidity got no limits.
I paid the game 40€, I paid each of the more than twenty DLCs, and now I should pay for weapons skins which provides ingame bonus ? I say no, RIP this game, it was fun but Overkill'cupidity kills it.
I'll never bought another Overkill game. -

Oct 17, 2015A fantastic game, but the developers now ignore and lie to the community, and released micro-transactions as a cash grab. A real shame that they ruined it in just one day.
-
Oct 17, 2015The greed of this company has ruined the game from what it once was. As of recent, not only have they made a terrible weapon rebalancing, but they've also added micro transactions into their game as a part of a "free update" REWARD.

Oct 17, 2015They promised no microtransactions and added them "for the great community". Don't help milking this cash cow! The game was fun, but these paid stat-boosting skins ruined the whole game!

Oct 17, 2015Bought the game, bought a lot of DLC to support the developers (don't really care for DLC). Then they betrayed us and added microtransactions... Just NO

Oct 17, 2015so they lied to us and gave us weapon skins and removed the ability to mod because we are able to get skins using that way, im writing this review today hope you will get it
-
Oct 17, 2015Played this game over 500 hours. Paid over 110 Euros for it. AND NOW THEY WANT US TO BUY SKINS FOR WEAPONS WE ALREADY BOUGHT FFS. Seriously Overkill you **** up hard.
-
Oct 17, 2015The developers promised no micro transactions. Micro transactions were introduced in bad faith. This is not what people paid for. Also the game host 28 DLC's from 3-7$.....
-
Oct 17, 2015The "rebalance" is **** and the microtransactions are terrible. I was such a fan of this game before the crimefest update.
Devs get your act together, I've never seen such a great game die this fast. -
Oct 17, 2015Game has Implemented a micro-transaction system similar to CS:GO EXCEPT the Weapon Skins actually modify the stats of the game. This change is recent and changes all my past stipulations about this game. There are over $150 worth of DLC. Don't Buy.

Oct 17, 20150/10 for lying to the community, scamming everyone's money with false promises, and just pulling another EA. This is absolutely intolerable, especially the new update they nerfed the current weapons to promote the DLC weapons. Say no to payday2. We will not tolerate this.

Oct 17, 2015I didn´t like all those not really cheap DLC´s, but I have always supported Overkill. This microtransactions move was a huge misstep which I am not going to tolerate. They lied to all of us.
-
Oct 17, 2015Been gaming since the 1970s, never seen something as atrocious as what Overkill pulled. CRIMEFEST are series of community challenges allowing players to get content for free. However what overkill did this time is the opposite. It wasn't free and created an micro economy full of traders.
My son does indeed hate this update. -
Oct 17, 2015Blatant lies, combination of DLCs costing an leg and an arm. However overkill thought of an new idea:Extent this madness by introducing MICROTRANSACTIONS!
-
Oct 17, 2015Unoriginal, unoptimized, half the game is hidden behind over 150$+ worth of DLC, and now Micro transactions. Company refuses to communicate and are waiting for everyone to quit contesting quality and truth as to make more money.
-

-
Oct 17, 2015this is the bad update 太糟了 so bad very many skins have +稳定 is very bad no good so no buy overkill games my friend tell me so can you no buy overkill games of payday 2 thank you
-
Oct 17, 2015'' The developer promised NO MICROTRANSACTIONS
What they do? micros for content that gives you stats and turning it in a pay to win game. And this was released during an event that was suppose to release free stuff.
I'm done with it.''
I agree, they ruined the game. -
Oct 17, 2015now that i think about it, this game is exactly my ex-girlfriend. they lied to me, they cheated me, they took all of my money, they wasted a year and a half of my life, they gave me **** promises and when they are broken, they never apologies, their birthdays are in October, like holy crap when i see the name payday2 the words change to alyssa, i broke up with her, time to brake up with payday2
-
Oct 17, 2015Trash game.
Tried to bait and switch their customers by stating explicitly that they would never have microtransactions, then throwing in not just microtransactions, but PAY-TO-WIN microtransactions.
That, along with the constant trash DLC's they always put out, and the complete disdain that Overkill has for their customers = NEVER BUY PayDay 2 or anything by Overcharge. -
Oct 17, 2015This game costs $20 + $150 Worth on DLCs + Now newly introduced MICROTRANSACTIONs same as CS:GO and TF2.
The game itself lacks of content and replay value without the DLCs so they are not avoidable.
DON'T BUY UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE MONEY-MILKED BY OVERKILL! -
Oct 17, 2015
-
Oct 17, 2015they ruined the game by adding weapon skins and pay2win stats. no wonder many people wrote bad reviews to the game!! signed up just to write what i think btw
-
Oct 17, 2015it should be fairly obvious why i've decided to leave a negative review. just go read the other negative reviews and see for yourself how crappy this game has become.
-
Oct 17, 2015It used to be a great game, then it went from Payday 2 to Pay2Win. Sadness. Microtransactions just show the greediness of the devs, over 20 DLc weren't enough for them. GG Overkill, you destroyed your imagine in less than a day.
-
Oct 17, 2015Extremely disappointed with the new update!
I spent around 80$ on the DLCs, but now they add trading. That is too much!
Very disappointed! Do not buy this game! -
Oct 17, 2015
-
Oct 17, 2015Game used to be great. Devs were always bad. Tons of DLC's with one good weapon. Lies. And now they "REWARD" us (Crimefest) with CS GO style skins that boost your stats.
No thanks -
Oct 17, 2015
-
Oct 17, 2015Releases paid DLC every month, and it's now charging us to get random skins that gives you an advantage. Terrible company.
They even at one point promised no micro-transactions. -
Oct 17, 2015Micro-transaction BS was added. The game is Payday 2 GO. DO NOT BUY THE GAME. DO NOT BUY DRILLS TO OPEN SAFES. DO NOT BUY DLC FROM OVERKILL. If you see this add another negative user review.
-
Oct 17, 2015More microtransactions, broken promises.
We the community never asked for microtransactions. They gave us microtransactions as a part of the CRIMEFEST "free" reward.
Do not show your support for the game.
Trolls like SomeStupidIdiot (the name fits)shows the unreasonable fanboyism of their game, probably paid Overkill employees. -

Oct 17, 2015Dear Overkill, please remember it's not a good idea to screw with the biggest community on steam. We made you what you are today, and we can undo it. After 20+ paid DLC, microtransatcions are a very bad idea. Start listening to your users or you will lose everything!
-
Oct 17, 2015Microtransactions are the worst thing that Overkill could have added. Not that they are bad in principle, but when they offer STAT BOOSTS?!? That is where I draw the line. I will not play the game again until they are only cosmetic or removed entirely

Oct 17, 2015Devs added skins that carry stats and can only be purchased with real money. It also already has a ton of dlc so there really is no need for microtransactions. When did this turn into a mobile game?
-
Oct 17, 2015We've made it clear that PAYDAY 2 will have no micro-transactions whatsoever (shame on you if you thought otherwise!)

-
Oct 17, 2015New skin system is a complete copy paste of CS:GO's.
Usually crappy $5 DLC's every month.
While games like GTA has new content updates FOR FREE every few months.
Devs don't respond to user negative feedback.
No mods work anymore. -
Oct 17, 2015I loved this game... I got it cheap but still bought 40$ in DLCs... I never spent so much money in the game.. Eventually.. The game being repetitive.. Broken.. And pretty much annoying. The solution? Add over 200$ in sub-par DLC... And now micro-transactions after they promised not too. Congratulations Overkill. You ruined the game, you greedy cuunts.
-
Oct 17, 2015Game is utter crap after adding Micro-transactions to it.I hope Overkill closes it's doors soon :) I can't believe I actually supported them by buying DLC and such.It was the worst thing to do-the game is full of bugs that are there from the start,DLC's are so **** expensive and more worse stuff.

Oct 17, 2015Added microtransactions on top of lots of dlc. Can't recomend it. We supported PD2 with dlc and loyalty for a long time but this is the drop that filled the glass OVK, failed promises of not adding this business model is as far as the comunity goes.

Oct 17, 201520€ game with 100+€ DLCs.
Now they add paid skins microtransactions.
You can only get those skins with real money.
Weapons skins with better stats than default. ones.
What the **** Overkill.
Guess what ? It's Skyrim paid mod **** Overkill style. -
Oct 17, 2015Added microtransactions after stating they wouldn't. The devs have, on multiple occasions, lied to the community about actions being taken in terms of balance, Multiple cash-grab style DLCs and the game is massively pay-to-win if you want to do "the best"
-
Oct 17, 2015Unethical business practices. They lied to the community on the issue of micro transactions. After viewing this even after supporting this group since payday the heist I find it difficult to recommend this to any other players.

Thank you for the unique incomparable example of the annihilation of the game that everyone loved so much , I suspect that the next step will be paid UNIQUE glow in the dark mask which will need to make a unique achievement in the unique maps of DLS using weapons of DLS .Oh wait , it already is -
Oct 17, 2015Overkill destroyed the modding community and broke the promise of "NO MICROTRANSACTIONS".
Instead of fixing bugs and optimizing both the game and the netcode they just release skins and MORE dlc. So far we don't have an announcement, a PSA, a "Sorry guys", not a single thing. This has to stop. -
Oct 17, 2015
-
Oct 17, 2015Developpers just kill the game adding the microtransactions. This used to be one of the greatest game I ever play and I had recommended it countless time. Now, it's just a piece of crap like cs:go.
-
Oct 17, 2015Thanks for screwing us all over.
Thanks for lying to the whole community.
Thanks for ruining a good game after letting us purchase all of your DLCs. -
Oct 17, 2015The game WAS fun to play, unfortunately it got screwed up with pay to win micro transactions. I won't recommend. Unless you like paying for tons of DLC's and microtransactions. But I still think you'll be more satisfied on a mobile game.
-

Oct 17, 2015Pay2Win?
Micro-transactions?
lying to your community?
I used to recommend this game to people. Now all i can say is DON'T buy this game!

Oct 9, 2013PayDay 2 is one of the nicest surprises of the year. Overkill Software understands the atmosphere of gangster movies and wisely improves these pieces of gameplay, that might have been disappointing in the first game. The sequel is better in almost every way - you can play a thief and enjoy good character development and shooting systems. I really hope, that PayDay 3 will be even better.
