Aug 10, 2017While I would have loved to see more new features and additional games like the oft-forgotten spinoff Mega Man and Bass, a package of four solid action platformers is enough to make Mega Man Legacy Collection 2 desirable to both fans and newcomers.

Aug 22, 2017This collection might not be as huge as the first, you still get a great selection of classic platform games. Even if you can't appreciate Mega Man 7, there are still three awesome games left to play.

Aug 9, 2017Coming in at 19.99, this is a collection that man Mega Man fans will surely want to add to their collection. It’s a great spot to have all 4 of these titles in one place, and fairly accurate to their original releases. Some new players might be off put by the jump in quality between the older and newer games in the pack, or even the difficulty some of these provide, but for the price, it’s a nice little package to have.

Oct 11, 2017Even though it isn't as robust as past collections of the series, Mega Man Legacy Collection 2 is still worth getting if you're a Mega Man fan. The eighth game may be a letdown, but it demonstrates some fun moments while the other three titles are solid. It isn't bursting with extras, and the inclusion of side games would've made this perfect, but for some people, it might be enough to be able to play MM9 and MM10 properly with save states.

Aug 8, 2017Mega Man Legacy Collection 2 is a great way to check out Mega Man’s later outings, but the presentation just seems a bit lackluster between the challenges not being as interesting as the original game or the puzzling omission of Rockman & Forte/Mega Man & Bass. The museum and music box modes are still good and it’s nice to still practice against the various robot masters. What we did get is still pretty good, but not quite as good as the original Legacy Collection.
-
Aug 23, 2017In the end, Mega Man Legacy Collection 2 contains only a small handful of games, none of which are obscure. Three of those entries are genuinely excellent, but beyond a strong challenge mode and the Extra Armor option, the features in this package are lacking. Maybe one day there will be a truly complete collection, with all the bells and whistles and even Mega Man Soccer. That day is not today.

Aug 10, 2017What is present in this collection ends up feeling like a disjointed ride through the latter half of Mega Man's history, an area with plenty of lessons to learn, but not always ones you're meant to enjoy. Seen as half of a whole, with the first Mega Man Legacy Collection, however, and you do have something resembling a fascinating compendium of games, albeit with a lot more to skip out on in its second half.
