Great game, ignore all the hate. Just romance Peebee and you'll be ok.
Great story, and I really enjoyed the gameplay. Just remember not to rush through the main story and do try to do all the side quests before doing the main quests. :)
Ok, the face animations wasn't great but not as bad as people say, I've seen worse.

TOO MUCH information just spill on you every time, mostly in codex and you need to read it unclearly understanding what is happens and why. And bad entrance to the game. And, so, what is reason to play? Fans don't understand what is happens too because of all things below.
Hard turbulence beginning of the game. Strange speeches and behavior of everybody, from you father to last NPC. "WHY?" "STOP DOING THIS!" you will be shout it from start to end. Irrelevant emotions and speeches with gala music. It's like watching low budget trash horror film. And this is not what I'm expected from Mass Effect and Bioware.
Game have a really big problem with dialogs and plot. This problem can't be unfixing. I don’t understand how game can be develop without any good script.
And, you know, stupid speech with horrible "my first try" animation is really JOKE. Bad.
All things in game are parody on ME 1,2,3. My ship, my friends (hate most of them), my enemies, old inscrutable race, their ancients useful ruins etc. Nobody should spent money on this stupid comedy show.
Maybe this all should attract new gamers never known ME before. But I don't think that annoying team, dull enemies, unreadable dialogs, boring warm and cold planets (first places we can go. Why people wants to living here, in deserts? Because gamers should runs around boring landscapes? ) can be fun.
    What's else:
    Uncreative new aliens
    Unfriendly journal and crafting system
Enemy can shooting in your back, but you hardly understand whence.

This all just big slap in the face from Bioware. This is sci-fi game. You shouldn't apologize only to LGBT for flat transgender, but for the space trash game with dull characters, bugs, stupid story and other sins. This game is uncover developers attitude to gamers, believed in company even after DA2 and DAI. But this is enough.

Not a bad game. Could have been a great game if not for... - Bad animation and facual expresions. - Strange distorted faces. - Really bad immature dialog in a most of conversations. - The few choices you have do not have any consequence. - Forgettable characters. - Once played, most will never play it again. I couldn't believe that was even possible for a Bio-ware game, such an amazing studio once, to fall in every aspect of this game so deep that it looks like it was made ten years ago by some indie studio.

Now i tried to play this game, even made like half way through and it wasn't the horrible animations or the terrible looking characters that were the worst part of it. Oh no. The writing and the voice acting in this game are absolutely the worst i have seen in a triple AAA game in my life. And I've been playing games for 20 years now almost.

The writing is so bad, uninteresting, boring, stupid, the stuff that's coming out of their mouth looks like it was written by a 13 year old, and combined with hideous voice acting makes the whole game looking like a joke, like couple of kids went to space to have fun.
Characters laughing in death threatening situations, making stupid jokes all the time, saying sentences that would never be used in real life by humans, main character with a voice actor so bad, that it's a chore to play. There is basically no any kind of emotion shown by any of the characters, the whole thing looks terrible.

Graphics are nothing special, combat is interesting but far less then previous Mass Effect games in my opinion, personally i didn't like the new automatic cover system but that's subjective.

The whole exploration thing just doesn't suite to a Mass Effect game. Quests are boring and annoying most of them is just killing enemies and fetching some thing over and over and over again.
The interface options, weapon crafting and menus in general are a complete mess. Map is also bad looks really poor.
Every aspect and game component of this game is so downgraded and so bad, except maybe the combat, that i think it deserves the user rating it received.

But things are changing lately and it begins with politics. Yes, Bioware actually has engaged in politics and as usual it's the Social Justice Warrior kind, because that's the latest thing. Movie companies are pushing their societal engineering agendas and now computer game producers do the same. The techniques which are used are the same too: their political views are incorporated into their game (or movies) but they won't tell you that (sometimes they do, but almost never); you have to find out for yourself after you have paid for the product.

And this is what happened to Andromeda too. I haven't even started yet about the bugs and other unwelcome anomalies which are directly the cause of a long development cycle rushed into a sellable state. It's more catering to the will of the feminist lobby, beating you over your head with political messages, diversity and you name it. It happens in more and sometimes less subtle ways but that's how it always works.

As it comes to actual gameplay, I have nothing to add relative to what others have to say about it and that's not good news either. It really is that bad. Bad voice acting, ugly characters where some say it is on purpose for Social Justice reasons, repetitive anti-climatic missions and you name it.

I have to rate this game zero stars out of ten. Nothing is memorable other than the technical and artistic failures. On top of that this game, and producer too, have become another weapon of indoctrination for the young and the gullible.

This game was not made by the original team and it shows EVERYWHERE.

    The Bad:

-SJW propaganda and militant feminism all over the place. It is a fantasy world, keep your personal world views personal and away from games, I have no problems with non white people and homosexual people in games, but propaganda in this game went way too far, especially militant feminism that is ALL over the game, nearly every major/important/powerful character is female, game also has racist overtones as white people tend to have white names, white faces and dark skin. Imagine the outrage if someone made NPCs with black names, black faces but white skin.

-Shoestring budget level voice acting, FAR worse than original trilogy that excelled in voice acting.

-Atrociously ugly potato heads, hairstyles and animations, even worse than Dragon Age Inquisition.

-Childish dialogue and poor attempts at humor.

-Uninteresting characters and squadmates with no soul, I couldnt care less if they all died.

-Weak main story full of cliches and recycled elements from the original trilogy.

-Main antagonist looks like a monkey and is not threatening at all, he looks pathetic.

-Bad alien design, out of so few new alien races none of them are well designed, Angara especially look like slightly modified Twilek clones.

-Unnecessarily complicated crafting which doesnt really influence the game that much anyway, I didnt bother to craft nearly anything and yet had no problems finishing the game.

-Too many grinding quests similar to those in Dragon Age Inquisition, slightly better written though, but only slightly. Thank God they are not mandatory like in DAI where you couldnt progress further without Power Points.

-Combat is worse than in ME2 and ME3, not terrible, but definitely worse, cover doesnt work as well as in previous games, you are limited to three powers in combat, there is no power wheel so you have to use 1/2/3 keys, combat has obviously been dumbed down and catered to console players, lack of power wheel and limit to only three powers proves it, now it is more like a classic shooter than an action RPG like in the original trilogy where I could build power oriented characters and barely fire any weapon once, in Mass Effect Andromeda that is no longer possible.

-Buggy and with performance drops in cutscenes that often stutter even though the game itself has mostly stable framerate.

-Terrible music that is nowhere near the soundtrack masterpieces of the original trilogy. Music was always a big boost to Mass Effect atmosphere, but that is completely absent in Mass Effect Andromeda because music is terrible, it is so bad you dont even notice it is there.

-You cant play Ryder as a Renegade and there arent even Renegade dialogue choices, game forces you to play as Paragon, all your dialogue options are basically various shades of Paragon answers.

-Your choices matter very little in the end, again same as in Dragon Age Inquisition, no wonder some people call this game Inquisition in space.

    The good:

-Some environments look nice like the Nexus, Tempest and some planets.

-Some quests are somewhat decent, not too many though.

-SAM is a clever way of making certain things in the game happen while being somewhat consistent with the lore.

Overall it is a game that is Mass Effect in title only, it has none of the quality and spirit of the original trilogy, lacks atmosphere, depth, writing and a whole lot of other things. It is also created in a way that they will certainly attempt to milk the franchise further because the story leaves way too many loose ends so I am expecting Mass Effect Andromeda to continue, unless sales flunk and EA decides to end the franchise. It is an empty shell of what Mass Effect once was, a brilliant masterpiece of scifi and RPG in general, but EA managed to ruin even that with ME3 endings, some elements of ME3 and its endings and especially Dragon Age Inquisition showed the steep decline in quality of Bioware games and now with original team mostly leaving there is no more Bioware at all, only name survives, nothing else.

If you are that desperate to play this game wait until there is a ultimate edition for 10-20 euros, I wasted 60 euros on this crap because I was too needy for new Mass Effect content, dont waste money like I did, wait until all DLCs come out and there is cheap ultimate edition available, then buy it if you want to play. Mass Effect is dead and Bioware with it, DA2 and ME3 were the first signs of a continuous decline and Inquisition and Andromeda are merely the last nails in their coffin.

Arg, the ending almost makes me want to avoid saying anything negative about the game, but frankly it's FAR BELOW the quality standards set by the previous Mass Effect games.

I'm not even going to complain about the faces or glitches, I'd have less of a problem with those if the rest of the package were delivered well. Unfortunately they flopped it. Bioware has seemingly become a victim to the recent trends in open-world gaming. Trends like artificially extending gameplay time by having the player engage in mind-numbing repetitive tasks and quests, poor design solutions for the process of resource collecting (which you require to unlock some bonuses or to experiment with new gear - not essential, but in order to research and develop all the gear offered you'd have to waste a huge amount of time better spent elsewhere)

    RESOURCE COLLECTING, RESEARCHING FOR GEAR
It's a grind, because the best way to accumulate resources is to pick them up by hand. That means you are expected to stop for them and hold a button for two seconds or worse, deviate from your mission to engage in this distraction that should have never left the MMORPG genre. That design solution for collecting resources sounds bland on it's own, but unfortunately the slightly more interesting options like planetary scans yield significantly less resources for the time invested and even that process becomes dull due to lack of variation.

    QUESTS
I sorely missed those side quests from the original games that felt like they were significant in one way or another. 9 out of 10 side quests in Andromeda feel like they have all life sucked out of them and they consequently end up being a huge to-do list in which you'd rather not do anything because there's a 90% chance you're going to be disappointed again. Honestly the overall quality of the dialogue didn't leave a lasting bad taste in my memory, but a lot of the narratives felt rushed and incomplete. Oftentimes it's your generic MMORPG quest: talk to an NPC, go to a location, interact with an object or kill some enemies, collect your reward. Sometimes if you start to feel invested in a quest it just all of a sudden concludes and you'll feel like nothing even happened and everything you did was for nothing (you may be rewarded with some useless garbage for your troubles or perhaps to offer some solace for feeling unfulfilled). There's plotholes too, likely resulting from a tunnel-vision approach when writing. What a pity... If you have to try out Andromeda, avoid all task type quests. There are a lot of terrible ones in Allies & Relationships as well, but those are generally better, albeit still not as interesting to do as in the original games.

    SAM THE PATHFINDER'S AI
I want to bring this thing out separately because I believe it to be the culprit that steals away a lot of the potential goodness this game could've been. Sure, it's immensely helpful in your pathfinder travels - it's a know-it-all AI that can solve pretty much any problem you throw at it: decipher alien languages, interact with alien objects on the go or even know what a random piece of alien tech is designed to do. I have a huge issue with this because it rips this game of SO MUCH potential for fascinating side quests and makes too much room for that fast paced shooting-oriented gameplay that was never at the heart of Mass Effect. SAM is always telling you where to go and what to do. I don't remember a time when I had to think about what I should be doing next or even feel mystified by anything, it's always just GO GO GO and if something gets in your way, KILL KILL KILL.

    OTHER ISSUES
    * Squad AI system is utterly useless. You're more likely to get yourself killed trying to give out orders to your squadmates, so just don't bother with it and let them stand in the middle of gunfire if that's what they choose to do.
    * Certain idiotic dialogue situations. I completely avoided Liam in my squad because of it.
    * Ambient dialogue (e.g. a squadmate talking to you or a radio chat via comms) is constantly cutting off, triggered by you moving into a different area. It really doesn't take much at all for it to happen. It doesn't even have to be so that a new line of dialogue could start.
    * There's two Asari character models in the game - one is Peebee, and then there's everybody else... How is this even possible!?
    * Planets feel very small with so many locations packed together.
    * Too much forced smalltalking, it's exhausting...
    * Coordination between crafting, development, store and loadout user interfaces inconvenient.

    THE GOOD
    * Impressive graphics
    * Main storyline interesting enough
    * Some interesting characters - I personally liked incorporating Peebee and Jaal or Drack in my standard squad loadout
    * Ambient dialogue and reactions (perhaps even progressions) in quests vary based on which crew members you brought on a mission.
    * Sound engineering
    * Well optimised

Overall, Andromeda felt uninspired and rushed.

Not going to make this overly long, ain't nobody got time for that. A couple of short prefaces:
Played all three ME games in the trilogy, the first two at length (100+ hours, multiple playthroughs), and the rest of the Bioware lineup (Jade Empire, KOTOR, Dragon Age: O).

And let me say it's a shame this game got the review bomb it got. Whilst I do not contest the amount of bugs the game has, I don't feel like that should entirely bring down the score. Underneath there is a lot of attention to detail, a storyline that is mostly crafted through gameplay (helping the people survive on their new home, sorting out their problems), which was a step-up from everything boiling down to firefights with a paragon or renegade dialogue option at the end like in the previous games.

The visuals are simply stunning, and the game manages to uphold a excellent level of performance. Was able to run it 80-120 fps on Ultra settings, 1080p on a GTX 1070 + i5-4670K (4.3ghz, 2400CL11 memory) with Adative V-sync. Driving through Kadar, standing on the mountaintops gave me that feeling of the Original Mako sections in ME1 which were in my opinion the best sections, albeit devoid of content. Which isn't the case in Andromeda.

Dialogue is hit or miss, it feels like the quality depends on who wrote it. Some of it is vapid, but some of it feels genuine and engaging. Barring a few remarks I do not agree it has a lot of SJW rethoric riddled through it. The overal storyarch is cannon, but honestly it's been done to death and as a sci-fi show nerd I'd be hardpressed if they found a new angle to coax up a spacevillian.

The bugs are, to be honest, the reason this game is only a 7/10. They are present enough to be a genuine nuisance, even if you're not looking for material on a glitch compilation video. The most eggregious are mostly evolved around SAM, your AI. It also counts as a gateway to tutorials, but it doesn't know when to shut up. It repeats the same dialogue options over and over again. That you can mine this area, that you entered a hostile enviroment, that there are enemies, etc. SAM should get a mute button, or have him exhaust dialogue only once. On the same note, quest dialogue options also never exhaust, so i'm pretty sure it's a glitch throughout the entire game. When you re-enter an area that was used for a quest, the same dialogue starts again. This needs a FIX asap, because it shatters suspension of disbelief and ruins immersion.

The rest are minor quality of life bugs, and less frequent. NPC's snapping into spots, t-posing, allies flying in the air, enemies stuck in scenery. Etc. As for the Animations and lipsyncing, a lot of it has to do with keyboard controls ruining the availability of the animation transitions. Like being able to spam A and D makes the legs to crazy, whereas you can't do this on a controller. It's an oversight. The facial animations were already changed a little when I played it (eyes etc), and honestly it was just like any other Bioware game. So why this all of a sudden caused the internet to go crazy beats me. Just don't use the default 'femshep', make a custom one, and you won't have those "Alec is dead?" moments.

Some good and bad, "deputy likes dots".
    + Visuals, performance.
+ Interactions with crewmembers is on ME2 level.
    + Story through gameplay

    - Overly sappy dialogue options without alternatives of the "it's going to be ok" variety.
    - Dialogue options not exhausting
    - Rest of the bugs
    - Repetitive sidemissions at some point.

Overall this feels like it could've used some extra love and care, and I hope EA/Bioware give it despite the review bombing. It would help them revive some of their credibility. As underneath it's a pretty good game, but the bugs and rough edges drag it down severely. As this is a game mostly about immersion, if a character you're having a conversation with glitches into the floor, it shatters your suspension of disbelief and ruins the experience.

Give it some more love Bioware, and make SAM shut up.

Dans les premières heures de mass effect le début est un peu poussif faut l'avoue, EA n'aurais pas du mettre le solo en early access car c'est le gros gros défauts du jeu. Après on trouve l'ambiance mass effect en mieux, plus approfondis :

    1. Everything that has to do with writing in this game is appallingly juvenile. The characters are mundane and are easy to dislike. The characters are mundane and are easy to dislike. The only character of the entire crew I found appealing and interesting at all was Drack. The writers should absolutely be ashamed of themselves. The game can't be taken seriously when none of the characters themselves appear to be taking anything seriously. Nearly every aspect of the games writing has this touch of light hearted foolery to it which is incessantly annoying.

    2. They completely removed being able to customize your companions/followers with weapons and armor. It was an aspect that I thoroughly enjoyed (and no one complained about) so I'm not exactly sure what they were thinking by cutting it. Companions skill trees are the only aspect you can customize. The skill tree is so small though, that you're given the illusion of choice here. You may as well put them on auto-level because it makes zero difference due to the skill tree being insignificantly small and insignificant regarding actual decision-making. You can't control the use of your companion abilities. It only allows you basic attack/defend commands, and most of the time its questionable at best if the a.i is actually following your attack commands.

    3. The illusion of choice. The Dragon age inquisition dialogue system was literally pasted into this game, which is to say that you don't really have dialogue interactions at all. Not really. Paragon and Renegade is gone (WHY?). Now are the days where you pick a dialogue option and get the exact same cutscene/outcome as any of the other options. This game is a total downgrade compared to previous mass effect games.

    4. Multiplayer. It's relatively the same as ME3, only its worse. It's a 7 round horde mode and each round is randomized to be different, such as holding a certain position for an amount of time or just simply surviving the round. You get credits for completing it. That itself is a bit mundane, but that isn't its biggest problem. The issue here is that literally nothing here is balanced in terms of characters or rewards. Weapons and characters you start with are quite literally BETTER than any of the ultra-rare classes or weapons you get from opening the 100,000 credit chests (the highest-tier chests). The sense of reward you get from playing the multiplayer does not exist because the reward system here is completely broken. If we're being honest, none of the classes or weapons are balanced for the hardest difficulty either.

    5. The animations. Not much to say that hasn't been said already. A high-school dropout amateur could have done better.

    6. Loot-progression in this game does not exist. Starting from level 1 you're given a fully completed crafting list that has everything already in it. You don't find or buy new recipes for crafting either. You don't find super-unique loot that isn't already in your crafting list. It just makes the whole idea of loot meaningless in the game. At least dragon age inquisition had unique gear you could find, there isn't even that in this game. When you kill the enemies in this game they have a chance to drop loot, that you basically can't do anything with; which you sell to vendors; in order to craft from a crafting list which was handed to you at level 1. Just... WOW.

    7. The side-content that makes up the majority of the gameplay in this game (10 hours of main story compared to 80+ of side content) is just mmo-filler fetch quests, basically dragon age inquisition copied and pasted here almost identically. If you're looking forward to maybe some interesting content on any of these large maps that you can explore, outside of the main story mission, they do not exist.

    8. Abilities. While combat shooting mechanics and snap-to cover was an improvement, they also downgraded combat significantly by only allowing the player to have a maximum of 3 active abilities. So, the game has no level-cap, and you can't manage your companions abilities, and you're only allowed 3 active abilities that you can only swap out at specific locations, and not during combat. This design is completely broken and is way too restrictive. I don't know what the purpose is of allowing the player to select any skill in the entire tree if they're only allowed to have 3 active abilities at max. Not only does this design contradict itself, but it makes for an overall unenjoyable system.

    9. The total obvious lack of any QA testing. The amount of bugs regarding missions and how many graphical anomalies there are in this game is actually ridiculous.

I could see people reviewing this game as a 5, at MOST. For me, it's a 3. I've played too many games and experienced too many systems/mechanics at this point. Being a programmer myself I just can't believe the lack of creativity or passion here. Nearly every single aspect of the game has been made pointlessly mundane and downgraded compared to previous mass effect titles.

This game doesn’t deserve the low score it has received from the user base. It’s a good game and worthwhile to play. Many of the complaints are legitimate but blown out of proportion in comparison to the goodness the game has to offer.

Pros- Combat is one of the best features in the game. Fights are fun and the mechanics seem balanced. The sound effects are well done and go a long way to help those with no force feedback to “feel” the weapons and attacks. Most abilities I’ve played with are useful and not “trash” skills.

Planetary exploration is well done and engaging. I found myself just wanting to drive around and see the different places without any particular goal in mind.

The game is a bit slow at first but after a few hours in, it will take off in a cool way. It was at this moment for me, that game went from moderately fun to “Hell yeah! This just got real!” This feeling of real satisfaction from the game hits again at certain points throughout the journey.

The companions are good and interesting enough to pursue their stories and invest in a relationship with them, platonic or otherwise. It can be interesting and at times amusing (and even insulting in one situation) to just listen to their back seat conversations while driving around in the Nomad. Word of caution: these conversations will be cut off if you approach a POI or other mission area so if a particularly interesting conversation is occurring, stop the Nomad and wait till they finish.

The graphics are beautiful; especially in space. Performance is good and the game runs surprisingly well on my older GTX 970 at 1080 on ultra settings though I did experience some stutter in places so I adjusted my settings to high for a smoother run.

Cons- Though the graphics are great, there are many areas where the lighting is too intense causing an unrealistic blinding and/or washed-out effect.

It can be difficult at times to get the "Talk" indicator to appear on NPCs. You have to be positioned at a weird angle to get it to appear and if the NPC is standing next to objects such as a desk or other NPCs, or walking across the room, this can be a PITA.

And of course there are the character model, texture and animation issues. This was improved somewhat in the first patch but it’s still not up to par for a 2017 AAA game from a top developer. It's more or less as bad as everyone is saying but still, not a deal breaker.

It is irritating that you can't board the Tempest without taking off. There were numerous times that I wanted to board my ship to temporarily access email or the research station and then get right get back out there. As soon as you board however, the game goes to the takeoff cut scene, launches you into space and then forces you to go through the landing cut scene and the load out screen again to get back to the planet surface. WTF?

Space exploration is both beautiful and relaxing and at the same time rather dull. You can fly around looking at the beautiful nebulae and stars and casually visit planets to scope out their environments. This works well if you want to just chill for a while after an intense battle and listen to Suvi’s sexy voice.

In game-play terms however, it's absurd that I can gather nearly the same amount of minerals by hand while walking around on a planet as my probe can gather from space even though Suvi says we just found a "huge" mineral deposit. I get that the game is not mainly about being in space like Elite or Star Citizen but the anomalies that you can investigate are largely underwhelming.

There are definitely some bugs still in need of squashing, even after the first patch. One of the worst that I encountered was on occasion, I lost control of Ryder even though the rest of the game still kept processing. When this happened, I had to kill the game in Task Manager. At least once it occurred in the middle of combat. (No, this was not due to accidentally opening the console which I also did several times). Another very frustrating issue was that my biotic charge would occasionally not work saying I have no target even though the enemy was right in front of me with an unobstructed path and the ability ready to use (off cool down).

Conclusion- In spite of the issues, the game really is fun and not even close to as bad as the haters are saying. The professional reviews are more in-line with what the game deserves in its current state. I am giving it a 10 to counter the haters.

If you can look past the game's issues and really immerse yourself in Ryder's shoes, you'll experience a grand, thought provoking and fun adventure. If you have an imagination and a role-playing mindset, the game's sense of wonder and mystery works. More than once I pondered what it would feel like to be such a staggering distance away from the Earth in an alien place where I myself am the alien. In those moments, the game delivers on its promise!

I played all three original Mass Effect games over and over again, and I like each of those games for it's individual merits, including the third game, which I felt had some of the best narrative strokes of the trilogy (ending notwithstanding, but then I see the whole game as an ending, and not a happy one at that - and that's what I like about it). With Andromeda, I was looking for something of a more open blend of the best elements of the original trilogy. I have to say, though, that you should be careful what you wish for. Bioware have made the combat more dynamic, but most of the weapons feel insubstantial and the enemy selection is a serious weak point, with way too much repetition, especially compared the heightened variety of encounters in ME2 and ME3. The inventory system is a return to the systems of ME1 in the worst ways - it is convoluted, dull and unclear. Narratively the game simply doesn't have the urgency or the character development to keep you engaged through what is admittedly a fairly long campaign, which gets off to a slow start and continues to drag through a series of dreary Halo-esque cyber-caves, conveniently respawning encampments of bandits that result in firefights that are over in seconds. The new enemy, the Kett, come across as ultimately very generic, and the new friendly alien species lack any real charisma or interesting backstory. This is definitely more Star Trek: Nemesis than Wrath of Khan.

In the end, it would seem the game's troubled development caught up with it. The writing is inconsistent at best, trite at worst, something that really wasn't such an issue in the original trilogy. There are flashes of brilliance in there, and some amusing dialogue, but the selection of squadmates is uninspiring for the most part. The game tends to veer into feeling like a slog that, although occasionally striking visually, strangely also shows it's age despite sharing the same engine as Star Wars Battlefront. As is notorious by this point, the games character animations don't appear to have improved at all since the last trilogy, which in itself was driven by an aging Unreal Engine 3. It's inexplicable that the game simply doesn't have better visuals in this department, and it's jarring with the otherwise decent fidelity on offer. The game simply doesn't have the sense of urgency that the last games had, especially by ME3. Bioware have gone too far to provide lip service to fans of the original game, at the expense of the narrative and pacing lessons of ME2 and ME3. ME1 was a very flawed game that had a special atmosphere that persisted beyond it's faults. Andromeda doesn't really have any excuse by this stage.

I finished about a week ago,my view of "the game" is a absolute disappointment, the terrible animation even with (1.5 update) it toke 85 hours to complete everything, the planet scanning is useless , it looks like the game is racist agains withe people because all the human dead bodies are bold and all withe, some upgrades are useless conversations feel like nothing you don´t get " that feeling of immersion",the amount of bugs and glitches reached the " next level"( can check my bug/glitch video).

All the people who said "gets better within 10 hours" no it doesn´t!,it goes beyond worst, broken quests or stuck, frustration with conversation that trigger the same answer,(basically saying what i dont want or misunderstanding of the question/answer) everyone said "ho its a new galaxy with new planets unexplored" almost all of the useless planets already have information about the *spoiler!* Angara people exploring them or the exile, the arks where very disappointing, i thought it would be epic to find them and free them but no its frustrating.

who suffer with epilepsy STAY AWAY!)
there is a glitch that hapends often that flashes in white (check part 2 video)

graphics are ok,looks clean and sharp ,but it need a lot of optimization(tested on pc)
game play is great, but if i was you compare Battlefront(third person) vs mass effect, they move and feel practically the same .

The explorable planets they all have they'r difference but after spending a lot of time doing every single quest/sidequest it begins to feel the same, you will find the same animals in all the planets, some mission are become repetitive,in *spoiler!* Kadar after you save the planet you can walk in the acid pools but there is no interaction so you can stand underwater, there are some unfinished places, you can find one in eos where there is a mountain floating and you can go with nomad just under it.

Mass effect Andromeda is a mess made by a sub studio with clearly no experience in making story rich games.

    I slash a 4/10
Don´t buy wait until they partially fix it (because its impossible to fully fix),and get it cheaper, the money they ask for the game is not even close to acceptable.

I hope the next installment of the Andromeda series is going to fix a lot of the Physics bugs in this game, and maybe use som of the physics from ME 2 and 3. The dialogue is sometimes a little Bleh, but when it comes to the story and the choices it is very much a Mass Effect game, with a great story as we have come to expect from BioWare, i would not hesitate to pre-order another BioWare game, and if they could get free from the cold clamps of EA, i know they would become one of the best game-studios in all time.
Comparing to all the bugs all the Internet mentions, yes there are bugs, there are story holes and there are misstakes in the explanation of why the technology can do stuff they didn't could before. Let's face it, 600 years of Cryostasis doesn't really advance the technology 600 years. The ability to travel between systems by nothing but the ships drive and not use the Mass Relays can be explained by that the part of Andromeda explored is actually only one cluster (in which the original games is the entire galaxy) A cluster with a black hole in the center, explaining the circularly formation of the cluster. I would bet in the next installment of ME Andromeda we would go visit another cluster and to travel to those, we would need som kind of Mass Relay. And at some point af Relay would be build in both Andromeda and Milky Way to get a fast transport between the two galaxies. Enough of my theories, the game is a great ME game, biotics, gunslinging, killing aliens and befriending af new alien race, and still the opportunity to be romanced by a blue-skinned sexy Asari ;-) I would recommend this game for anyone liking a good story, I would not recommend it for people wanting graphics and physics perfection, but if you like a little bit of both, the game is worth it. Maybe wait for it to go on sale before throwing cash at it. It is still a Mass Effect game.

Game is big and lots to do. I loved the fact that the game is not only about "saving the world", it was more of a multi-storyline game you will meet new people and species to learn about and to help with their conflicts and problems. and I loved the idea. Hours of crafting and exploring new worlds.

The big glitches were fixed by the first patch and the game was totally playable after that. I loved it more than ME3 and I am happy this has nothing to do with the Shepard series.

Whats disturbing is the cut scenes when traveling between galaxies and planets. I hate the fact that you can't skip it. They said that they are going to make them skippable with a future patch.

Pick the game at a discount totally worth it and play as a male character its a lot better than the female! it has much better voice actor.

Downside is that there is a bit little action in the game and more of talking to people and exploring. Since the biggest thing in this game that makes it shine is its combat and therefore there should have been much more action in the game. Maybe I need even more exploration to find battles.
