What’s different this time around when you play Mafia III? We’re getting straight to the action as we tell Lincoln’s tale. Faster, Baby! takes place alongside events in the game… but in an entirely new town and with new gameplay experiences. A civil rights leader is murdered while investigating local sheriff, Walter “Slim” Beaumont. Other activists are next on the list – and it’s up to Lincoln and Roxy Laveau (daughter of Charles “The Voice” Laveau) to get to the bottom of what’s happening. As for Sinclair Parish – it may be fictional, but it’s based upon how a few towns used to be, says Hangar 13’s Narrative Director, Bill Harms. It’s a place where some folks tried to preserve a narrow-minded way of life. Minorities weren’t welcome, especially after dark. “Just like the main game, we wanted to capture a snapshot of a specific time and place in American history, and let the player experience it.” Since Sinclair Parish is a small rural township in the countryside near the Bayou, expect lots of opportunities to tear through turns, jump gaps and run from the law.     High production values, excellent fun and the closest you will get to an interactive version of “Smokey and the Bandit” in this video game generation. A very pleasant surprise for Mafia fans, and the Herbalism side quest alone is worth the price of admission.

    Faster, Baby! Add-on shows what the third Mafia was good at, but it is pitifully short. Less than hour-long main chapter plus there are a few missions for Sinclair Parish residents, and then it's over. [Issue#274]

    Faster, Baby! is a story-based DLC that offers catastrophically little content for its cost. Focus on the action is not bad at all, but besides the pitiful length, it has ordinary story, an open world without any meaning and a bunch of nonsenses. All in all, we’ve got an average piece once again.

    Personalmente no suelo valorar algo por su duración. El problema aquí es que la presentación de esta expansión no esta nada mal. Personalmente veo un guión y una ambientación mejor llevados que los del juego base. Pero es muy precipitado, daba para mucho mas. Todo empieza muy rápido, se desarrolla un poco a trompicones y cuando te quieres dar cuenta, se ha acabado en el momento que empezaba a despegar.
    Es una lastima porque de haber profundizado en todos sus elementos, habría sido una expansión notable.
    No está mal, pero al final el juego se queda vacío y el que juega, frío.    … Expand
