If you like puzzle games and brain teasers, imprint-x is absolutely for you. I would even go so far as to say that if you have friends who enjoy physical puzzle boxes but don’t stray too far into the digital realm, this could be the game that gets them hooked.

A strikingly good puzzle game based around pressing buttons that becomes fantastically complicated, with a strong techno soundtrack that compliments the aesthetic perfectly.

Simple but effective puzzling bolstered by an excellent soundtrack. [Issue#259, p.61]

A good time passer, imprint-X is worth its reasonable price but isn’t a bastion of breathtaking gameplay. It has its flaws, many notable but none game ruining. Despite that, it definitely requires some brainpower. Don’t expect to be enraptured by days of scintillating gameplay, but also don’t expect to breeze through it on your first try.

On the whole, Imprint-X struggles to entice for long periods of time and can feel just a bit uninspiring, despite having well-polished gameplay. [March 2017, p.83]
  6. It might not be my first pick if I were in the mood for something to put my grey matter to the test, but I don’t regret the time I’ve spent with it.

If you want a quick blast of escapism with a bit of a challenge, then this what you’ll get. Nothing more, nothing less.
