Jan 27, 2017If you like puzzle games and brain teasers, imprint-x is absolutely for you. I would even go so far as to say that if you have friends who enjoy physical puzzle boxes but don’t stray too far into the digital realm, this could be the game that gets them hooked.

Mar 21, 2017Simple but effective puzzling bolstered by an excellent soundtrack. [Issue#259, p.61]

Jan 27, 2017A strikingly good puzzle game based around pressing buttons that becomes fantastically complicated, with a strong techno soundtrack that compliments the aesthetic perfectly.
-
Jan 26, 2017Captivating mechanical puzzles that are taxing as well as sometimes a little too confusing.
-
Jan 30, 2017Overall, Imprint-X will satisfy that itch for anyone who craves a quirky puzzler. What it lacks in variety and moxie, it certainly makes up for with an impressive retro aesthetic and a soundtrack that deserves to be listened to outside the realms of your computer speakers. The story may be gratuitous, but skipping past it will soon reveal what the game is really all about.

Jan 26, 2017A good time passer, imprint-X is worth its reasonable price but isn’t a bastion of breathtaking gameplay. It has its flaws, many notable but none game ruining. Despite that, it definitely requires some brainpower. Don’t expect to be enraptured by days of scintillating gameplay, but also don’t expect to breeze through it on your first try.

Games Master UKApr 2, 2017On the whole, Imprint-X struggles to entice for long periods of time and can feel just a bit uninspiring, despite having well-polished gameplay. [March 2017, p.83]

Feb 9, 2017It might not be my first pick if I were in the mood for something to put my grey matter to the test, but I don’t regret the time I’ve spent with it.

Feb 28, 2017Imprint-X has style and that goes a long way in terms of making the game stand out. Without its look and without its music it really is just a simplistic game about clicking to solve puzzles. Solving the puzzles provides a sense of accomplishment at times but overall there is no greater purpose or reason to solve them other than the game wants you to. But with that bass beating along in the back maybe you don’t need a better reason than that. For an inexpensive, well-designed puzzle game you can certainly do worse than Imprint-X and it will definitely whittle away the hours without you even knowing.

Jan 29, 2017An easy puzzle game to play and understand, but with unbalanced puzzle difficulty. Better suited for the most hardcore puzzle fans.
-
Jan 26, 2017If you want a quick blast of escapism with a bit of a challenge, then this what you’ll get. Nothing more, nothing less.

Jan 26, 2017It’s fine, it passes the time, it could be a lot better with a clearer interface, the removal of its gibberish plot, and much fairer windows for the timing challenges, but none of that would raise it much past “above average”. It’s just an average idea, done reasonably well. And sometimes that’s enough.
