    this game is great. A worthy campaign on the skeleton of a great shooter. If you liked the shooter mechanics in multiplayer, feel free to take the campaign.

    played through on easy, loved it. good story, good variety of gameplay/weapons and what not. playing through on heroic now and its def quite a bit harder but still manageable so far. tremonius gave me some trouble in the beginning but once i got to the open areas it was a bit easier to get my bearings since i could get my usual gear from the FOBs. pretty awesome game, its a shameplayed through on easy, loved it. good story, good variety of gameplay/weapons and what not. playing through on heroic now and its def quite a bit harder but still manageable so far. tremonius gave me some trouble in the beginning but once i got to the open areas it was a bit easier to get my bearings since i could get my usual gear from the FOBs. pretty awesome game, its a shame people are review bombing instead of just playing it and being unnecessarily immature… Expand

    Amazing sound design, Gameplay, and Gunplay, one of the best Halo of the Decade, it needs work in his monetization but it can be changed, the addition of the grapple hook and the equipment brings back that speed from Halo 5 Guardians

    The best part of Halo. Before the release of the Master Chief Collection on PC, I was not familiar with the Halo series.
    But now I'm a fan.

    The multiplayer is filled with paywall customization that should've just been bundled with the campaign but 343 decided that it would be a great idea to make the mp f2p which really hurts the game series. Not a big fan of open world games anymore as almost every developer team thinks that's the best way to do campaigns now. Wish it was linear like previous halo titles.

    I haven't played any halo, and I've only touched the universe through movies and streams. And even in this case, I liked the game. The world is beautiful, the feeling of the game is pleasant, Grunt is wonderful. I like the way the world tells a story and shows the same Marines not as food. But there are drawbacks, and I can understand some people who didn't like it. Yes, the gameplay canI haven't played any halo, and I've only touched the universe through movies and streams. And even in this case, I liked the game. The world is beautiful, the feeling of the game is pleasant, Grunt is wonderful. I like the way the world tells a story and shows the same Marines not as food. But there are drawbacks, and I can understand some people who didn't like it. Yes, the gameplay can be too measured for fans of battlefield or even more so DOOM. And the world does not stimulate his research. After the dreary battlefield 2042 and something from Activision, I entered the game with a little skepticism, and maybe it played on my attitude to the game.
    And seeing the powerful review bombing from fans of Battlefield and CoD, and in Russia from fans of Salo Logvinov, it makes me laugh. Fortunately, I play games, not numbers on metacritic.    … Expand

    Everything is very well optimized and the campaign/ story is fun and engaging and the mp has pretty fun moments, however this game has a severe lack of content that needs to be fixed soon before the player base drops do to the lack of new content and terrible progression system.

    One of the best games I've ever played. If you have played any Halo games before, and loved them, then you will surely love this one. Halo Infinite is an experience everyone should enjoy!

    Cosmetics, monetization, and average story problems aside, with more polish to them, I can say that Halo Infinite is a back-to-basic from Combat Evolved. The gameplay and gunplay are amazing and modern while trying to make sure that it still plays like a Halo game. The open world, while can be lackluster, is still a wonderful time to just go around in.     Play on legendary. Gunplay is amazing, games run smoothly on my PC no problem. The enemies are challenging and I love how all the weapons were useable. Boss battles were a letdown because they were fairly easy. The open-world was a lot of fun need to go back and finish clearing the banish from zeta halo. Not a perfect game but it's fun and I recommend you give it a try.

    Fuera de que el mapa se siente algo vacío en cuanto a fauna y demás, las batallas son dinámicas el gameplay es solido y divertido además que visualmente esta ala altura y mucho mejor que en el trailer del año pasado me quedo con un excelente juego totalmente recomendable

    The campaign is the best campaign since the original 3 games, and it feels incredible. All of the mechanic additions they've added make the game feel fresh without changing what Halo actually is.     I'm not finished with the campaign yet so things may change, but I do have 23 hours of play time with about 4 of that in campaign and i'm absolutely obsessed so far. Most of the reason I have it as a 9/10 is because of the multiplayer issues and the fact co-op and forge are coming 6-12 months down the line.

    This is an absolute must-play game and its definitely my favorite game of 2021, perhaps my favorite over the last several years.    … Expand

    Solid graphics, amazing soundtrack, perfect voice acting. Going semi-open world was right choice and hopefully DLC's expand on that idea with different looking locations. Story was miles better than Halo 5, reminded me combination of Halo 3 and Halo 4. Multiplayer needs lots of work, but even then, it's easily best shooter of 2021. Well Done 343.

    Very good game as expected, i would advise ignoring this relatively mediocre user score, because bunch of trolls and sony losers are giving it low scores, because they have nothing to play this December. How sad. lol. Anyway great story, fun gameplay, more of this please.

    Campaign is nice, million times better than Halo 5. Open World could use more variety, hopefully in dlc, but it's still solid. Soundtrack is amazing, but that was expected. I like how Campaign somehow manages to have vibes from Halo 1, Halo 3 and Halo 4. Amazing voice acting from whole cast, but, particularly from new Cortana (Weapon).     Overhyped game of 2021. Nothing is better than halo5 which is released 6 years ago.
    Graphics and optimization is terrible.
    Gunplay, motion, sound everything is xbox one, ps4 generation quality.
    Openworld design is useless. You got no reward when killing road blocking annoying enemy.
    It is no more than fanboy game.

    If the campaign existed as a standalone game, it would be a 9/10. Story, characters, soundtrack, visuals, the semi-open world environment, all combine to make this a solid campaign. If 343 can build effectively on this foundation in future DLCs this will be a    Bumping my on-site rating up to a 10 to counteract all of the review bombers. (Actual rating as of Launch Day - 7/10)

    The multiplayer, sadly, is another story. Core gameplay is excellent but everything else such as customization, progression, challenges, and even the ability to choose what game mode you want to play is either nonexistent or a hot mess right now, and the in-game store is a total cash grab. Also, there seem to be only 5 maps available for the small team modes and three for the big team modes, and the small maps get old really quickly. If you don't care about that stuff, then go wild because the gameplay, as I said before, is awesome. Otherwise, maybe hold off until that stuff is fixed. 4/10 for the MP.    … Expand

    Great campaign, amazing gameplay mechanics (best halo ever in terms of gameplay), and the multiplayer is fun. Although there are still issues they need to fix such as the progression system and game mode playlists, halo infinite is still an amazing game!

    The campaign is just amazing, Zeta Halo is just beautiful, I loved the story, the sandbox and the combat feels good!
    The multiplayer is maybe the best in the series, the map design is great, and the gunplay... easily the best in the series, it feels like almost every gun has its place in the game.
    The current amount of content may be a little limited, but it's enough to make you play for    The campaign is just amazing, Zeta Halo is just beautiful, I loved the story, the sandbox and the combat feels good!
    The multiplayer is maybe the best in the series, the map design is great, and the gunplay... easily the best in the series, it feels like almost every gun has its place in the game.

The gameplay loop is identical everywhere save for the bosses which are just elites or brutes with a big health bar, turning them into bullet sponges. The big shotgun is weaker than a melee attack, the pistol can 2 shot kill any enemy without energyThe campaign is like one level thats been stretched out and called an open world. In general the guns feel soft, theres no presence to any of the weapons here, the pistol feels like it has the same power and recoil as the shock rifle etc etc.

    Multiplayer would save it but for some god unknown reason you cant choose your game type or map. Meaning you can be repeatedly forced to play oddball when you just want to play slayer and the game punishes you for leaving a game.

    My advice is have a play around for a few hours if you have game pass but dont pay money for this abomination.

    In my opinion its a good game but I give 1 because the game is not complete, the motion captures of faces are no good and the graphics are low in most situations.
    This couldn't be Xbox Sign anymore

    I have played Halo since the initial release of Halo: Combat Evolved. After just finishing the primary story in the campaign, I must admit that I am blown away: captivated. The campaign is only rivaled by it's competitive multiplayer experience. After the flop of Halo 5 and my distaste of Halo 4, I had hopes for Halo Infinite. I am happy to say that this game tied things together in justI have played Halo since the initial release of Halo: Combat Evolved. After just finishing the primary story in the campaign, I must admit that I am blown away: captivated. The campaign is only rivaled by it's competitive multiplayer experience.     The best part of Halo from 343. Thanks to the developers for getting the series back on track and returning the fans to the feeling of the old Halo that Bungie made. We have been waiting for this game for a long time and are glad that one of the creators of the series has returned to it. Great gameplay, catchy music, an intriguing plot.

    I love Halo and this game is one of the best in series. It has it's cons, but overall game is great. Absolutely recommended.

    Love all the fake game reviews, game is imo great. Multiplayer have been out for three weeks and even I can see there are things the need to work on but the core gameplay is there. So far I’m really enjoying the campaign as well.

Yes, it doesn't have the best possible graphics out there and, in my opinion, the handling of the vehicles is kind of cumbersome, but even with these downsides it is still an awesome game!.     This is the very first Halo game I ever played, so coming in I had no idea about anything in this universe -story wise but it did a pretty good job at making me curious and maybe I will try older games of the franchise as well, or at least read up on the lore. Its not one of the best stories out there but 1st person shooters with good stories are like unicorns...

    I like the game, graphics are solid and they kept the original style. I just saw someone give this game a zero because "guns don't have weight" of course they don't you literally play as a super soldier this isn't call of duty

    This game is so fun and takes Halo into a completely new and exciting direction and is a very posotive change from Halo 5 with the story as it keeps up consistent plot points interesting narratives and well structure dialogue while keeping the whole experience streamlined and not feeling like its dragging on. Love this game from 343i and would like to say keep it up!! 10/10 Would Recommend!

Halo infinite is a terrible and badly executed product. It tries to keep the simplicity of a basic fast paced shooter but fails in all aspects. The performance is horrendous.     tradition and innovation together. Fantastic gameplay and a solid game. many users write absurd things and they criticize aspects of the game that have been present since the first halo. It's evident: many of them are just haters who have never played halo.

    This game basically contains the classic Halo mechanics but in a more expanded world. The level design is not the best in the franchise but it is satisfactory.

    Gotta love these fake user reviews. This game is honestly amazing. They finally managed to make a halo game feel modernized without taking away what makes it so great. Personally, Its the best game i have played this year.

    Halo Infinite is the best shooter of 2021. With much anticipation from the fans, 343 Industries brought a great multiplayer experience and a story as a love letter to the Halo series. With some bold innovations, the game pulls all the best from previous iterations and makes it into one of the best FPS games in recent history.

    Halo Infinite was supposed to become a flagship title for “the most powerful console in the world,” but in reality we got an interlude of a story devoid of epic set pieces, a template for something greater that may or may not arrive in the future, an empty “open world” punctuated with interior design circa early 2000s. If not for the awesome shootouts, Master Chief should have been jettisoned back into space.

    The new Halo game is far from flawless. There’s no co-op, even though there should be, and there’s a boring open world, even though there shouldn’t. The multiplayer feels unfinished as well. Still, at its core, it’s a solid story-driven shooter with a more-than-acceptable Cortana replacement.
