    Xbox once again proves that they are best of the best and no other console can get even close. Sure Sony has had hit games in past, but most of them are extremely linear "movie-games". Spider-Man was fun i guess, but overall Sony games are meh. No offence. Halo Infinite shows how you should write characters and story, make world fun and interesting and especially, make gameplay fun.

    Halo Infinite has an enjoyable combat system and a fun multiplayer that will appease many fans, however, the new campaign is a disappointment. The story, characters and open world all feel half baked. The story felt as though nothing happened, thus resulting in a game that doesn't progress the story in any meaningful way.

    Awesome, can’t understand why the hate, is really so good. Needs some bug fixing, but it deserves better. 8/10 but I’m giving it a 10 to offset some ridiculous 0 ratings. Like people don’t understand the concept. If it is a 0 it would mean it has the worst graphics, gameplay, sound, etc and is never fun in any way. That’s just a lie.

    If this game was made by Naughty Dog, story would be horrible, Weapon would kill Master Chief in first hour or so and this big bad guy would win. Thankfully it's made by 343 and story and characters are great, beautiful graphics, amazing soundtrack and fun gameplay!

    343 proves with this game what they really can do. Bungie already went downhill with Reach, so i think 343 was perfect choice for halo. More of this please.

    Halo Infinite proves why 343 was perfect company to take over Halo! They wrote beautiful story for Halo 4 and while Halo 5 was bad (Every company makes mistakes), they also wrote beautiful story for Halo Infinite! But now gameplay is also fun, going open world was great idea, hopefully they expand on that idea with next Halo games or DLC's.

    There's a lot of new weapons in this game, as well as like half of the classics. They're all so fun to use and none of them (besides the plasma pistol) feel like a "low tier" weapon. I am constantly cycling through the plethora of guns you come across. Although this game is apparently very CPU heavy and there is some weird frame pacing sometimes, the graphics are amazing in my opinion.There's a lot of new weapons in this game, as well as like half of the classics.     Halo infinite on pc with mouse and keyboard absolutely amazing and super enjoyable . But optimization not great and hopefully improve optimization in future. i recommend to play halo infinite with amd hardware and ssd

    I gave it a 10 because of sony fanboys who are review bombing.
    The Multiplayer is a 8.5 for me and the campaign is a 9.5 so basicaly a 9.
    I gave it a 10 cuz ppl are spamming 0 out of 10 because sony fanboys get joy from low microsoft scores.
    Seriously the best campaign since the first 3 games

    Don't listen to those 0 review scores. Clearly just review bombing. Game is solid. Great gunplay, awesome graphics, story is decent although clearly they left a cliff hanger for story dlc. One thing i would've liked is different biomes. But like i said maybe future dlc? Best halo game for me definitely

    A serious return to form. The campaign feels just perfect. The combat is balanced, varied and extremely fun. The plot and story are engaging and emotional. I hope for more story dlc. The game is beautiful to look at regardless of your graphic settings, yet somehow retains the old school charm. New depth, new enemies, new mechanics, new world. Classic fun.     Halo Infinite é um jogo fantástico, no meu XBOX Series X ele tá lindo, jogabilidade fluída e gráficos excelentes mas não surpreendentes.
    Testei na minha GTX 1080TI rodou muito bem.
    A ideia do mundo aberto foi bem interessante, não pensei que ia ser tão legal.     gunplay is good, bosses are bad, the story is meh, the campaign is tooo short and lacks diversity ( no missions in snow area or desert area, etc. there is more to complain but these are my main gripes.

    Multiplayer is fun, balanced, and engaging. The story is pretty good in campaign and I know future story installments are coming. Graphically the game is excellent for a sci-fi shooter. It should be hyper realistic, so it strikes a great balance between realism and animated. All in all a great game. Would have been a 10, but progression in multiplayer is awful. Couple things would be nice to have, like Active Camo and Overshield in Campaign and maybe friendly AI driving vehicles (though I still have PTSD from the Halo Reach is driving me off a cliff 4/5 times),but other than that I have nothing but praise for this game.Best halo game ever made!     The game is not bad... but the history of the campaing is just the same. Spectacular, yes, but boring and pointless. Always a big bad guy threatening all the galaxy. The multiplayer is good if you are a kid. It is more call of duty than halo. It's not fun anymore.

Just finished the campaign 9/10 on that part but controller starts randomly putting in inputs at random idk if it's PC or my controller but overall great game.     The story is pure stupidity and makes no sense at all. Horrible plot, voice acting, and Pacing is all over the place. The multiplayer is so dull and uninspired. Just another boring arena shooter. Nothing new to it. Maps are almost as bad as Battlefield 2042s maps. It's crazy how 343 has ruined the franchise.

    Halo infinites GamePlay is some of the best I've ever experienced in a halo game. Multiplayer is solid and after putting 32hours roughly in the multiplayer and only experienced a couple crashes.

    But there are a few issues with the game that can be easily fixed. First the battle pass needs to be improved quite a bit as the rewards are a bit lacking and for me at least there's only a couple    Halo infinites GamePlay is some of the best I've ever experienced in a halo game. The second issue is why is there no game mode playlists in this game. Sometimes I just want to play slayer but can't as there's no just slayer game mode.

    I know why this is a big issue for some but for me I don't mind it to much as I like playing the objective game modes.

    I would recommend that that you give this a try as the multiplayer is free to play.

    Halo has finally redeemed itself after 4 and 5 s***shows. It just felt like Halo CE, where after playing you just keep thinking about "what was that", "what's gonna happen next" - Cannot wait for the next one in this new trilogy. Halo is back baby!

    I’m not fan of the series (to be honest, I don’t understand all the hype around it), but it’s the first Halo I actually enjoy to play. Pleasant graphics, well directed cut scenes, cool gun play - a great soft reboot for new players.

    I am shocked to see people aren’t enjoying this as much as I did. I literally give it a perfect score. Captures everything about the old games, addresses the faults of the last couple, and sets the characters forward in a way that’s new. Amazing ending, I was blown away. And the gameplay!!!! Top notch. I’ll be playing this game forever

    Looks and plays great on PC. Well worth the Pc GAME PASS and well worth the wait. Multiplayer cosmetics could be better but gameplay is great and that’s all I need. It’s old school.

No ability to turn off cross-play, important because PC is being plagued by hackers who you can't report in-game. Overpriced cosmetics. Barely any customization options when compared to previous games. Points scored and winning doesn't matter. No stats. The list goes on. For a game that's been in development for six years, I am very disappointed and hope for a dense patch to fix a number of issues.    … Expand

    Love the indoor graphic but it seems that the graphics in the openworld wasn't well optimized. The performance is terrible with my 1060 in the open world where the fps drops dramaticly. Hope 343 can fix some of the performance issue . The gun play is really different from the rest of the franchise and it really have to take sometime to get used it.     I have played 8hours of this game in PC, just to test it and see where I should play it. And a other 20 or so in console. With a 2080 graphic card, it runs smoothly and I havent had any big issue so far. And the game is amazing, so I totally recommend it, just give it a try with gamepass and once you fall in love with it, you can try to buy it later

    This is a decent game. The core gameplay is fun but there are many things holding this game back. The story is rather disinteresting and the few characters there are, I don't find very compelling. Honestly the characters whine too much in this game, they don't really feel like they belong in such an alien setting. I beat it on legendary and its seems like a very short campaign unless you flesh it out with the boring open world objectives. All in all this is my favorite halo by 343, so hopefully they continue down the path of try to bring halo to its roots somewhat. Also please make the next campaign more linear.i can't deal with halo just being open world from now on.… Expand

    Great game. Minus all the fuss regarding multiplayer it is a solid Halo game. Campaign is better then what 343 has done in the past. Multiplayer has a solid base to evolve and getter better. No idea why people are trying to review bomb this. Dillusional Halo fans that expect games to be tailored to their needs or salty playstation players.

    开放世界部分做的太拉了，载具几乎没有作用，全地形车不能全地形，天蝎号不能压倒一颗小树，不过如果你当开放世界没有的话还是可以当线性来玩的，多人合作战役也被砍了，但这次枪的打击感和手感都很棒，建模和光影都是顶级的，总的来说，在 2021 年我认为这是最好的 3A FPS 游戏了

    Update: I finished the game and they managed to impress me: This is even more boring and empty than I thought at the beginning.
    Everyone's favorite "press three buttons at different ends of the map" mission and immediately "press four buttons on even more distant ends of the map " - WOW "Defeat 3 waves of enemies in the room "and immediately do the same thing again. Love it. And my favorite: the big boss in the little room with one hit kill. Wonderful.

    Story is ok i guess, but it just starts when game ends

    And the Bad Guy... omg... it's even less then onedimensional... I'm evil and i have a deep voice and i'm gonna talk and you can't skip blablabla... Just shut up, please    … Expand

    The sequel to Halo 3 everyone was waiting for. Best gameplay ever in a FPS alongside DOOM Eternal. Soundtrack and art direction are best in class. 343 finally nailed it. Halo is back.

    Keep in mind this review is from the perspective of someone who hasn't played Halo since the 360 so I am not as familiar with the recent story. The single player campaign is a 6/10 for me. The first hour or so before you get into the open world is a boring slog. Some of it looks good but some of it looks really bad. I don't really care about his threats, who he is, or anything about him.

    Once you get outside it does get better but it is just not that great. The open world looks okay but things in the distance look bad, some of the effects are terrible (tire tracks), and it just looks like a game from 4 years ago. I also find pilot annoying, he just complains the whole time and the open world is just okay. When I'm playing it I just keep thinking is this game better than other open world FPS games and I keep coming back to the same answer, no. It doesn't look better, the world isn't better, the story is weak, etc. If it wasn't Master Chief I think people wouldn't be giving this game anything above an 8, the nostalgia is definitely boosting a lot of these scores.

    I would say if you aren't invested n the Halo universe then you're not going to love this game. You'll probably have a decent enough time but it really isn't all that. Don't trust anyone who's giving this game a 10/10, they have rose tinted glasses on.    … Expand

Do you need to read/play every spin-off media that is made for Halo to get a good story experience out of a Halo game these days? No yikes this games narrative is rough as hell. At no point was I at the edge of my seat because of the narrative. Also very disappointing is the loss of excellent cinematography in the cutscenes that even Halo 4 & 5 had. This was a staple of the series, but cutscenes are Infinite are extremely barebones. There were some interesting shots, but you can count them on one hand.

    The sound design is excellent, but most of the original music is not memorable. Relying on the original trilogy music feels kind of desperate, but objectively that music is good.

    As for the gameplay and open world. The gameplay is perfectly serviceable, the grappling hook is introduced and feels pretty useful in combat. I did not care for the Far Cry-esque open world map markers and outposts and basically skipped all of them. Getting from story mission A to story mission B basically equaled to just finding a vehicle and driving for 5 minutes. The open world therefore is more of a detriment if you liked the older Halo titles (CE, 2, 3, Reach), and the fact that world consists of solely trees, hills and grass doesn't do it any favours. Sometimes you are thrown into forerunner structures, but they get pretty samey after a while and look like copy-paste jobs.

    It's definitely an improvement over Halo 4/5 in terms of gameplay but the narrative is just as lacking as Halo 5. It's narrative is worse than Halo 4 though.

    grievances: The bosses are just regular enemies with more health (aka bullet sponges). The intro cutscene goes unexplained and none of the characters are known or met in the game itself (who the hell is Atriox?). Cutscenes are way too long, and interrupt gameplay too much early on in the game. The facial expressions of The Weapon are hilariously bad and distracting, and the fact that she is a copy of Cortana can be seen coming from a mile away. Checkpoints are basically existing in a semi-state of permanence, they exist as long as the game session lasts. It is never made clear when it is safe to turn off the game and know that mission progress will be saved.    … Expand

    И тот факт что морпехи теперь не могу управлять транспортом из за того же открытого мира тоже разочаровывает
    Но в целом отличная игра. Просадок не было. Баги очень редкие и скорее были веселые. Играл на ПК с характеристиками

    Graphics: Phenomenal and overwhelming, amazingly crafted and beautiful game overall. the graphics i can see ray tracing and everything and its just... breathtaking. So on this note ignore the reviews calling it trash, because this was played with an RTX 3080.

    Gameplay: Gameplay was stellar and really fun, the gunplay, vehicles and just getting around and playing the games objectives how you want is exactly what i wanted from a halo game in this day and age.

    Story: The games story was fun, open and thrilling, they didn't wipe the past 2 games, but never tried to bring them up much either, instead they owned those mistakes of the past games and made them better. For those who finished (Spoiler), there is going to be Expansions, this is a 10 year title and we were given a beautiful cliffhanger and im excited and thrilled for the future content.

    Overall this game is a return to proper form for the series, and this world is only going to keep growing, don't let negative reviews ruin your personal experience, jump in and play and have fun, and most of all to please please take your time and not rush the game    … Expand

    The performance is beyond embarrassing for a game that looks so poor. You need a 3080 to run this game at 1080p 100+fps. The campaign was incredibly buggy and the open world is boring and unnecessary. Halo fans deserve better.

    Best Halo from 343i IMO. The campaign is engaging, the open world is well designed and fun to explore. Gunplay is great. Multiplayer is ton of fun but needs a playlist adjustment. I'm sure it will be fixed soon. Don't trust all the hate it's having. It's a bunch of "halomasterrace" toxic fans. The game is superb, the community is not.

    The campaign is like if you made The Cartographer into a massive open world. I really like hunting down HVTs with a squad of marines    Pretty good!     This game is just perfect for both old halo fan and the newcomers like me where this is my first halo game ever.     Because the gameplay is so damn good that I can't play halo "normally" again.
    Sure there are some optimization issues, poor MTX practices, but its definitely worth a try

    Halo Infinite is the best shooter of 2021. With much anticipation from the fans, 343 Industries brought a great multiplayer experience and a story as a love letter to the Halo series. With some bold innovations, the game pulls all the best from previous iterations and makes it into one of the best FPS games in recent history.

    Halo Infinite was supposed to become a flagship title for “the most powerful console in the world,” but in reality we got an interlude of a story devoid of epic set pieces, a template for something greater that may or may not arrive in the future, an empty “open world” punctuated with interior design circa early 2000s. If not for the awesome shootouts, Master Chief should have been jettisoned back into space.

    The new Halo game is far from flawless. There’s no co-op, even though there should be, and there’s a boring open world, even though there shouldn’t. The multiplayer feels unfinished as well. Still, at its core, it’s a solid story-driven shooter with a more-than-acceptable Cortana replacement.
