Apr 16, 2022I constantly wanted more, I wanted to see this world unroll further, I wanted to see what else I could do with this incredibly clever main vehicle; but then it ends quite abruptly, which makes it feel incomplete without following it up with the sequel.

May 18, 2018The idea of this game and art concept are great, but it seemed not finished for me.Through all of the game i had mixed feelings and was waiting for something great to happen, but it didn`t.
Scoring seven just for music and visual style, gameplay and quests could me much more interesting (comparing to similar games like Unravel and Limbo).
Anyway those guys got great potential, good luck! -

Mar 4, 2020It's short. I finished it in less than 3 hours. But it was fun! I love the graphic style and the game-play. I really had fun with it but it's a bit too short and probably not worth a replay.

Jan 2, 2019I avoided Far for much of the year, thinking it was another bog-standard indie exercise in gloom and ambiguousness. I was delighted to instead discover something beautiful, unpretentious and even hopeful. Don’t make the mistake that I almost did.

LEVEL (Czech Republic)Dec 31, 2018Easier to understand than Dark Train, a more soothing Inside. A steam sailboat hurries through the wilderness, and you switch between admiring wonderful visuals and keeping the machine running. [Issue#288]

Dec 11, 2018FAR: Lone Sails is an emotive trip through a dying, yet beautiful world. It's a journey that doesn't last for long, and whose low replay value makes it hard to come back to it... and yet it's also one that's hard to let go once you start it. Fans of such games are definitely advised to give it a go - oh, and don't wait for a discount because its worthy of its price tag as it is.
