    Thankfully this game was provided freely with a CPU purchase... Graphics are "okay" (i.e. up to that generation of games), but the gameplay is horrendous. Repetitive copypasta missions, convoluted mini-econ management, super shallow characters, and all around pretty buggy. This was overmarketed with Giancarlo's participation (who's almost absent from the game), this game will be easily forgotten.

    For some reason, the game lags when I try to turn on 1000 hertz to update data on my Razer mouse.
    Artificial intelligence in the game is as stupid as possible.
    The animations in the game are terrible.
    There is a lot of LGBT agenda in the game.
    Women are all scary. They look like a crocodile that runs next to the main character.
    We can't play a game with a friend in a cooperative. Yubisoft servers are often unavailable. If there are not enough resources, then transfer the game to Steam. There are no problems with the co-op on Steam.

    Probably the worst game I've ever played in my life. I just played the game impatiently to finish the game. Some scenes were really good but other than that it was a completely disgraceful experience. If you value any amount of your own time, never play this game.

    I was so excited for this game to be released. I’ve love all the far cry’s, even the pink one, but this one was not to be.
    Glitchy as hell on release, dunno if they’ve fixed it by now, hope so.
    Story was just terrible. They got rid of all the rpg stuff in the old far cry’s and replaced them with a clothing system. Great idea.     The audio bug that means you can’t hear NPC’s, enemies, or gun shots makes the game almost unplayable and completely unenjoyable. I’ve tried the fixes given online and nothing seems to fix it. Extremely poor and disappointing

    O jogo é o melhor da franquia, porém vou atribuir a nota 0, uma vez que o jogo te obriga a jogar toda a semana para desabilitar o anti aéreo.
    Passei o jogo inteiro falando: "Vou acabar com todos os anti aéreos e quando acabar a história principal, vou ficar voando sem nenhum inimigo me abater".

    Worst Far Cry game ever. Bullet sponge enemies who will take multiple headshots to kill if you have the wrong "ammo type" equipped. Helicopters that are invincible, skills/perks tied to clothing. Enemies respawn 10 seconds after you clear a location. I had a sniper respawn in the EXACT same spot and tower literally like 20 seconds after I had just climbed it and killed him. It's a sign of the times that programmers simply don't give a damn about game optimization before the release and just dump it all on the hardware - causing glitches and subpar quality even on high-end PCs.

    The game demands 12GB of VRAM to handle HD textures. Nowhere before the release has Ubisoft mentioned it as a requirement, not even for 4k gaming in Ultra. It also hasn't mentioned that if you don't own the suitable hardware the game will look like it belongs in a different age - and not one in the future but rather somewhere around mid-2000s.

    What transpires is a whole mountain of bugs on high-end GPUs - like, lo and behold, Nvidia's RTX 3080, 3070 or 3060Ti. Was it a deliberate attempt to nerf the game on NV cards, as Ubisoft works with AMD? No idea, but it sure has made it look like it's 2005 again.

    (Although some people are reporting similar issues even without the HD pack).

    Not that poor resolution makes performance any better. The game looks worse than, actually, any of the past three FC games - but runs at lower FPS than they do.

    With 5600x, RTX 3080 and 64GB of RAM you can get 50-60fps in 4k - a drop of 50-60% vs. FarCry 5, which clocked around 80 to 100fps and looked better than FC6 does. It also suffers from occasional lags and drops in performance, regardless of what's going on on the screen - and not even taxing the hardware, as my temps and fan speeds are all normal. Out of the blue it drops to 10fps, adding to already poor first impressions.

    You're getting a terrible performance hit without any demonstrable benefits in visual quality - and it many ways the game actually looks worse, even when it runs at decent speeds.

    Some bugs could be excused, of course, as games typically encounter hiccups upon release - but here we're not talking about a ground-breaking new game (like Cyberpunk) but a title that is a fourth installment in 10 years and has inherited much of the previous games' mechanics and even graphics.

    When running around the tropical landscapes does it really feel all that markedly different from even FarCry 3 launched in 2012? Not to me. I don't see a decade of game development in this title. Instead, it looks like a cheap, half-baked, rushed knock-off released to milk the franchise that millions will quickly snap up just because of the name.

    I might update my review when - and if - the performance is optimized and all of the glitches are fixed. But at this point there's just too many of them for an enjoyable gaming experience.    … Expand

    User interface is very chaotic, it have nothing to do with other Far Cry games. Weapons are pretty crazy too, they are trying copy Fallout 4 weapons or I don't know.     Far Cry 6 perde molto senza l'audio in italiano, sia come atmosfera sia nel seguire la storia principale, sia nell'afferrare l'umorismo dei personaggi di gioco. Mi tocca constatare poi che l'audio in lingua inglese è fatto molto male con cadenza spagnoleggiante e risulta incomprensibile in più occasioni. Per quanto riguarda il gioco è ripetitivo, non intriga, è molto banale e i personaggiFar Cry 6 perde molto senza l'audio in italiano, sia come atmosfera sia nel seguire la storia principale, sia nell'afferrare l'umorismo dei personaggi di gioco. Mi tocca constatare poi che l'audio in lingua inglese è fatto molto male con cadenza spagnoleggiante e risulta incomprensibile in più occasioni.     A ridiculous choice in my opinion, one dictated maybe from a business point of view but at the same time cannot be justified to the italian paying public. Especially since they use various details ingame with italian roots and then disrespecting those with not even the acknowledgment of the average italian user/player for this game. Make at least an adjustment on the price for the italian market with a lower cost, but nothing... This is absurd, a shame and also totally embarassing from a company of such big caliber.
    For the other stuff I'm also of the same opinion with the majority I have to say...
    Regarding innovation... It looks like the same system/mechanics of all the Far Crys. Small/few changes here and there, graphic details maybe better (only because of the times, not in par with the level they should actually be, see the download of the HD Texture pack) characters boring, over-eccentric and not so funny anymore humor. If it was the first Far Cry game, it would be a pretty fun game, but they are just living from their past successes and propose again and again with different contexts/stories the stuff once again. Landscapes are not even that great, I was happy to see again an environment similar to the one for Far Cry 3 (my favourite game of the series), but I was disappointed also on that unfortunately. It is not satisfying for the shooting, bullets feeling is really bad and the AI level looks even more idiotic than in the past (how?). Fillers with too many time consuming side missions, a prerogative of Ubisoft games totally makes it worse, instead made for appreciating even more the game.
    Regarding the story instead, it's good, not that innovative, famous people involved, acting good, but nothing worth it for the price. There was the possibility to choose the protagonist at the beginning Male/female, now a must and that's a plus for the actual times. As long as it doesn't feel forced on the narrative like almost usually is unfortunately. Nothing else comes to mind right now, but yeah. There are some bugs, but nothing major. The review is anyway not positive. Not worth buying it at this price or any other price and that's a shame. I was hyped and expecting something good. I was rooting for it, but I have to be honest and this is my opinion.

    P.S. I know that everyone recognize the song for the "Burning" mission (ripetitive concept copied form FC3, also in a bad way, btw) as the one from the netflix show, but it is actually taken from the historically famous italian partizan song. An other reference from the Italian people, rewarded without the audio translated in their language though.    … Expand

    Dopo aver giocato tutti i Far Cry precedenti con parlato in italiano, questo sesto episodio lascia l'amaro in bocca e non si capisce perché abbiano tolto la nostra lingua dal gioco. Se persino Watch Dogs Legion aveva il parlato in italiano ed era un giochino secondario, per quale motivo avete eliminato l'italiano da una serie consolidata e con tanti fans come quella di Far Cry?

    Игра про зумеров-революционерво, которые кроме чувства стыда ничего не вызывают. Персонажи скучны и не запоминаются от слова совсем. Сюжета нет.. Ну как, по классике есть один диктатор, а перед тем как с ним расправиться нужно    Мне интересно, кто в такое играет? Если так хочется пострелять - есть Call of Duty, Battlefield, Cyberpunk, да много шутеров, где стрельба сделана намного лучше.

    ААА-проект за 2500 рублей, которую Куплинов(а он не редко стоит в затупе) прошел за 4 видео(+- 3 часа), и даже так все прошлые far cry' и были гораздо лучше, а это просто способ выкачать деньги с фанатов серии, из всего, мне запомнилась лишь фраза диктатора из трейлера "Ха-ха, я пошутил... или нет"

E nonostante tutto questo Ubisoft ci ha snobbati e ritiene che l'italiano sia una lingua insignificante tanto da non inserirla in Far Cry 6. Peggio per loro, perchè io credo che questa mossa si tradurrà in una riduzione di vendite del gioco in Italia, molti non lo compreranno e dovranno ricredersi perché in Italia negli anni dal 2004 ad oggi ci sono stati milioni di appassionati di Far Cry, siamo una delle più grandi comunità al mondo di appassionati del gioco basta vedere i tanti forum che abbiamo in Italia che parlano dei vari episodi di Far Cry e delle tante testate che hanno recensito la serie negli anni. Ubisoft hai commesso un passo falso questa volta, io credo che il gioco ne risentirà molto in termini di vendite in Italia perchè noi giocatori italiani ci sentiamo presi in giro… Expand

    Same engine, same physics, inferior to previous title graphics. Less content than in previous title. The only character customization is in its gear. Gear is tightly coupled with in-game store.

    Indie developers in one person make a much better product. And is this the quality of one of the richest studios? Savings on the engine, on the plot, on NPCs, on testers, on actors, on    Guys, this is rubbish, not a game. She's absolutely not worth the money. Just as the studio is not worth supporting based on the result, it seems that it will only get worse if their products are bought.

    Additionally, this game is lacking in any talent features at all, a hideous gear system that's bulky and clunky, unresponsive menus, and worse of all, it actually takes away the aspect of having to interact with the world to gather items. E.g, when you kill an animal, there's no skinning, you just walk over it, same with ammo from enemies. The interactable objects in the world have extremely small and precise angles of interaction that make collecting things tedious as hell.
    The straw teat broke the camels back for me however, is this very strange decision to make certain areas of the world force you into 3rd person? I assume to make you want to spend money on buying the cosmetics for your character, but it makes no sense and has no warner or toggle feature.
    The characters don't stick around long enough to form any bond, and the one character that does only has the one gimmick about him that grows stale after the first few hours.    … Expand

    The game demands 12GB of VRAM to handle HD textures. Nowhere before the release has Ubisoft mentioned it as a requirement, not even for 4k gaming in Ultra. It also hasn't mentioned that if you don't own the suitable hardware the game will look like it belongs in a different age - and not one in the future but rather somewhere around mid-2000s.

    What transpires is a whole mountain of bugs on high-end GPUs - like, lo and behold, Nvidia's RTX 3080, 3070 or 3060Ti. Was it a deliberate attempt to nerf the game on NV cards, as Ubisoft works with AMD? No idea, but it sure has made it look like it's 2005 again.

    (Although some people are reporting similar issues even without the HD pack).

    Not that poor resolution makes performance any better. The game looks worse than, actually, any of the past three FC games - but runs at lower FPS than they do.

    With 5600x, RTX 3080 and 64GB of RAM you can get 50-60fps in 4k - a drop of 50-60% vs. FarCry 5, which clocked around 80 to 100fps and looked better than FC6 does. It also suffers from occasional lags and drops in performance, regardless of what's going on on the screen - and not even taxing the hardware, as my temps and fan speeds are all normal. Out of the blue it drops to 10fps, adding to already poor first impressions.

    You're getting a terrible performance hit without any demonstrable benefits in visual quality - and it many ways the game actually looks worse, even when it runs at decent speeds.

    Some bugs could be excused, of course, as games typically encounter hiccups upon release - but here we're not talking about a ground-breaking new game (like Cyberpunk) but a title that is a fourth installment in 10 years and has inherited much of the previous games' mechanics and even graphics.

    When running around the tropical landscapes does it really feel all that markedly different from even FarCry 3 launched in 2012? Not to me. I don't see a decade of game development in this title. Instead, it looks like a cheap, half-baked, rushed knock-off released to milk the franchise that millions will quickly snap up just because of the name.

    I might update my review when - and if - the performance is optimized and all of the glitches are fixed. But at this point there's just too many of them for an enjoyable gaming experience.    … Expand

The story was awful, the NPCs had ZERO personality or likability, and the setting/map just wasn't fun. The game devs seemed like they wanted to force their diversity quota rather than write a compelling story. Helicopters controls didn't work at all on PC with a mouse to make things even more frustrating. I loved FC4 and FC5 and this was a huge disappointment.… Expand

    Ubisoft games just feel plastic, there is no soul. Feels like it made by a bunch of SJW:s with pink hair who haven't played one RPG in their life and with the intent goal of just making money and forcing post modernist liberal propaganda down your throat. Zero Soul. That's why they are bad.

It's disgusting seeing them repeatedly and graphicly killed with machetes and other weapons. By you, the "good" guy. This game is meant to break people.

    Насколько же она скучная и медленная! В этой игре рассказывается про всё, но не про саму борьбу с диктатором/злодеем/антагонист. Да его вообще не видно в кадре!

    Far Cry finally got rid of the most annoying bits (like the infamous towers), but that’s pretty much the extent of the series’ progress. Far Cry 6 doesn’t improve on the core concept in any way. Still, all the expected mechanics work as advertised and keep the game above the line.

    Far Cry 6 is a work that strives for progress while maintaining stability. There are ancestral gameplays of the series that have not been outdated, and some system optimizations and improvements that keep pace with the times. In general, it is still a familiar formula and a familiar taste.

    Upon reaching the end of this review, I’ve come away with a revelation. Yes, Far Cry 6 is the accumulated chemical detritus from years of similar lab experiments, layered and stratified, compounded with time and pressure. But it isn’t a catalyst. I am. I played Far Cry 6 to completion: I pressed buttons to shoot guns and progress the plot; I killed an inordinate number of animals to buy upgrades; I equipped new pairs of pants to make myself stealthier. And at the end of it all, I felt nothing. I was unchanged by the experience.
