    Despite beautiful visuals, especially on powerful PC´s and current console hardware, Far Cry 6 greatly suffers from it´s ongoing repetive mechanics and the absence of innovation.     in conclusion although fun at times i really don't recommend far cry 6 maybe on a sale if you don't have anything else to play

    Far Cry 6 offers most of the same. I have skipped Far Cry 5 but I played 2-3-4. The story was kind of your generic island dictator. The medical aspect of it put more variation into it. The combat has been seen many times. You get a lot of weapons but really, a few of them are really working well. The fights are very repetitive. The mission system gets boring because there is a lot ofFar Cry 6 offers most of the same. I have skipped Far Cry 5 but I played 2-3-4. The story was kind of your generic island dictator. The medical aspect of it put more variation into it. The combat has been seen many times. You get a lot of weapons but really, a few of them are really working well. The fights are very repetitive. The mission system gets boring because there is a lot of copy-paste. The most fun of them are the treasures hunts. Driving land vehicle/horse is a pain because of the very limited point of view. Flying is actually fun, exception of the planes weird controls. Sailing is a mix bag. Swimming is just difficult to enjoy. Interacting with the diverse characters in the three groups of guerilla is interesting, because they are so different from one another. The music is excellent. I especially like when your Dani is singing. Nice touch. RPG elements are often useless or not very deep. Like buiding stuff to reveal points on maps. The special operations were a gimmick for average stuff. I skipped cock fights (make me angry that's in the game). The Amigos seems funny at times, but were very hard to level up, and some always dying. The AI was abysmal often. It seems to work sometimes, but you always get an idiot AI doing nothing AI in front of you. So, I give the game 62%. The actors, the music were certainly fine (and kind of wasted). But overall surely not the best of the franchise.… Expand

    On with the review.. I loved Far Cry 1, not so much 2, loved 3, 4th and found 5th to be decent and think this falls to decent.     On with the review.. I loved Far Cry 1, not so much 2, loved 3, 4th and found 5th to be decent and think this falls to decent. The villain is awesome but not evil enough, or not in a way where we can hate him or like him enough, we see way too little of him.

    They completely removed the crafting system which was a pretty strong addition to the other games in my opinion by getting more loot space, extra weapon slots, they even removed talent points which is a very odd choice. Finding where animal types were on the map and going there hunting them correctly and crafting what is essential as loot space, bigger wallet etc felt very satisfying.

    The starting was quite dull and chaotic at the island, think they could have done a much better job at introducing characters, combat and scenery-wise.

    The combat in the game is close to nonexistant on normal difficulty, buy/get a strong one shot rifle, slap on a silencer and you can take out a whole base/checkpoint in 10 seconds without anyone knowing what happened, kind of silly. Which makes me think they should have some leaders who are very superior like in The Division where you actually have to fight and use your tools.

    The map is pretty big, I though it was much larger at first but it feels about the same as the 5th, perhaps 20% larger, though much of it is ocean. There is a sht ton of collectibles all over which I am spending a lot of time on just to delay the story going to an end.

    The AI is perhaps more stupid than ever, if you ride/drive 10 meters next to them they start screaming and running although you are driving perfectly normal, and if you drive on the correct side of the road and move the steeringwheel ever so slightly towards them (before straighting up) they choose to drive to the other side of the road and collide, like every time.

    A thought I have is about the dialect, english mixed with what I assume is spanish dialect, at times is can become obnoxious, I think this was perhaps a problem in the 4th too, got a bad memory so could be wrong, but I wonder if it would just be better at the native language of the given place with english subs or just standard english if anything, I think it might just be some bad written lines or voiceacting making me feel that way because sometimes it works great too.

    The charcters are, some decent, some really bad ones, the main characters seem ok but most of the ones you meet in the 3 different "counties" are kinda boring. I think with very interesting cinematics and backstories in the 3-4-5 you got to know people and it was interesting characters while in the 6th they are just there, not much to it. Also way too much of a comedy tone to it, it's like in the middle of a war and people are cheering, joking around, swearing at everything, not a single one shed a tear, experienced trauma or something remotely interesting.

    If you know Far Cry this is just what to expect, I just hoped they would outdo themselves and the graphics are sometimes really impressive by the ocean, and sometimes you wonder if you are in Far Cry 2 back in the early 2000s on a 3070 gpu at ultra, muddy/unclear textures. Maybe the graphics engine got to go?

    I have now nearly done all side missions and collectibles so only the some of the main story left and I'm left with an empty feeling of everything just being a chore. I think the game is worth playing but this could easily have been Far Cry 4 instead of Far Cry 6 and thats worrysome in 2021. I think I would give it 6/6.5/10 and in comparison I think I would give the 3rd game 7/10, the 4th 7.5/10 and the 5th 6.5/10.

    I really really hope they choose a very interesting time or location next time and maybe many more cinematics like in the 4th and 5th which is what they are best at and have a gripping story where we run into the villain many times and maybe introduce choices again?    … Expand

    Все что касается визуальной части, сделано на отличном уровне. Безумно приятно перемещаться по миру яры и наслаждаться местными видами. То же самое касается и звуковой части.

    Все что касается визуальной части, сделано на отличном уровне. Безумно приятно перемещаться по миру яры и наслаждаться местными видами. То же самое касается и звуковой части.
    Однако часть касающаяся повествования - огромный минус. Несмотря на пару неплохих ходов, история в целом - это безумный цирк, в который ни на секунду не веришь. Начиная от их образов и заканчивая их поступками. Немалая часть дегтя в превращении некоторых элементов сюжет в элементы ММО.
    Центральная мысль прошлых частей - борьба главного героя с создавшимися незнакомыми ему условиями. В шестой же части разработчики прошли и мимо и окунули игрока в неубедительную историю революции страны третьего мира. Несмотря на свое тяжелое состояние, Яра географически больше схожа на серию ГТА, из-за чего сильно теряет свои корни.
    И вот беря во внимание вышеупомянутые минусы, не могу не отметить, что по итогу степень погружения сильно и сильно понижена.
    Люблю серию и не считаю шестой Far Cry провальной частью, но ей есть куда расти, пока она не окончательно потеряла свою линию    … Expand

    The game is fun in the first 5 hours but after that it gets boring. The story is super generic, the gameplay has a lot of bugs, the AI is dumb af, and anything besides shooting feels cheap.

Uses the same go collect your guns system that was in valhalla which I didn't really hate, but sucked to be limited to some sets of armor when you could me swimming in them.     Once the initial launch day instabilities were dealt with the game settled down into the usual type of thing, but the changes    Far Cry 6 isn't really like a Far Cry game at all. I mean, it's like a Ubisoft game (huge map, tons of things to collect, bases to liberate), but in many ways it owes a huge debt to the Just Cause series, and in particular Just Cause 3 (the best of the series).
    Once the initial launch day instabilities were dealt with the game settled down into the usual type of thing, but the changes were what stood out for me. The protagonist is vocal now (Just Cause style) and even pops into 3rd person when in home bases (Just Cause style) and landscape features can be destroyed to enhance reputation (Just Cause Style).
    What it lacks is the usual polish of the FC franchise, with some things feeling unfinished or undercooked, like the many things you can read scattered about the landscape, which remain active and readable after you have read them, and the many wild mission givers, again remaining active, calling your name after you've already taken the mission.
    There's a strong misogynistic streak running through the game, with equal numbers of fighters being female, and a trans man being played by, uh, a man!
    The basic plot is infuriatingly nonsensical. Add poison to tobacco to cure cancer, and enslave the population to farm it.
    The whole tone is brutal and dark, with little opportunity for fun.

    The AI have been improved since New Dawn, but it's still dumb af.
    The introduction of this RPG like clothing system is unnesecery and bad. It gets worse when you need to watch for the different ammo types which you can die from, but you can't see how much immunity do you have for each one.
    I didn't like the anti-aircraft sites too, because they block you from going from A to B in the air (with a vehicle). Bugs
    I only incountered one bug, where I didn't get the reward for a treasure hunt.

    Overall, Far Cry 6 is an enjoyable game which needs some polishing in the future.    … Expand

    - Ingame currency is useless. There is nothing you can buy anymore after 40% of the game because you find it anyway in chests. - No more skills. Instead you find armor pieces that give you resistances or some classic far cry skills (grenade takedown, more lmg ammo, etc.) when worn - No real motivation to clear outposts undetected. You only get    Cons:
    - Hunting is now completely obselete
    - Ingame currency is useless. There is nothing you can buy anymore after 40% of the game because you find it anyway in chests.
    - No more skills. Instead you find armor pieces that give you resistances or some classic far cry skills (grenade takedown, more lmg ammo, etc.) when worn
    - No real motivation to clear outposts undetected. You only get resources that you can only spend to upgrade 6 buildings in the resistance camps. (which is quickly done when you regurlarly collect stuff)
    - Story is mediocre for a far cry game. Some characters are even just annoying, like these rappers
    - The big city is not an open world city like praised in the trailers. It is just a completely hostile zone
    - Balancing is bad. There is no reason to use anything but Armor penetrating rounds.
    - Bows are ok but you can not change your arrows anytime anymore
    - The only resource that really matters in the end is gunpowder. Everything else will be thrown at you

    Pros:
    - The world is beautiful, detailed and fun to explore
    - The gunplay feels good

    Just another Carribean fight of some generic bad guy, with a group of revolutionaries that are about as unique as white bread. The bad guys are basically all snipers, I swear they don't miss and they are always behind cover 95% of the time. It's just boring and more of the same with nothing innovative. After 4 hours of trying to get involved I gave up.

    With my AMD Radeon 6900 XT and FidelityFX turned on ultra quality, I can easily play this game butterily smooth with all settings cranked up to Ultra even with DXR shadows and reflections on at 4K resolution. The visual quality is good enough, but I have seen much better looking games.

    I really like buddies. They are super cool and you will enjoy playing with them for sure. When I    With my AMD Radeon 6900 XT and FidelityFX turned on ultra quality, I can easily play this game butterily smooth with all settings cranked up to Ultra even with DXR shadows and reflections on at 4K resolution. The visual quality is good enough, but I have seen much better looking games.

    When I compare this game with Far Cry 3 for example, it is big downhill for sure and when I am playing this game for couple of hours, I often feel that I am wasting my time, I don't know why. It just feels too repetitive, but it is still fun to some point.

    Pizza guys should learn how to speak English. I am also not complaining that many games are not in my native language hahah...

    This game is really nothing special. I would say that I have mixed feeling about this, so that's why I will give it 4 points out of 10

    I am legit baffled as to how this game got such high reviews from most major gaming sites. Though far cry 6 isn't complete **** it is a complete **** far cry game. I don't know what Ubisoft was thinking. I can't speak for all of the fans but I am willing to bet a year salary that when asked no far cry fan is going to say their favorite part of Far cry is looking through menus for hoursI am legit baffled as to how this game got such high reviews from most major gaming sites. What I always loved about these game is the chaos aspect and how enemies would die if you shot them in the head. The fact that it took me six shots from a sniper rifle (3 in the head mind you) to take down a single soldier is the most ridiculously annoying thing ever. Am I missing something here? I mean wtf is this!? Seriously! The only thing I can think of is this game wasn't made for me and that's totally cool I can respect that but I have played the far cry since the original so I guess I had some expectations on what this game would be. I mean I wasn't super into New Dawn at all but I would take that over this any day.… Expand

    The game is fun and engaging, but repetitive after a few hours. The main complaint I have is about the crashes. It crashes on PC pretty often when you open the menu and with the retarded no-save-file system it can happen you lose 20 min of your time because it crashes right at the end of a quest, which surprise-surprise you have to restart from the beginning after the crash.

    Men bad, men weak, men evil, men cowards. Women strong and good. Gay and trans is also very good. The game has loads of ridiculous (in a bad way)    I would have given a 6 because sometimes it's kind of fun, but alas the game is dragged down by wokeness. It's a copy paste with some features even removed and some simplified to appear more to casuals. Genering story, that is not interesting in any way while also removing some fun features such as skill tree (replaced by stats from items, wtf were you thinking Ubisoft) and lack ofIf you don't like Far Cry, don't buy this. There are some redeeming features, such as the protagonist is actually somewhat well made and the graphics looks good in moments, but the world is dead and there is nothing to do. Whats really big plus of this game that all this boring stuff that like ubisoft (avanposts, towers and more that you need to endless capture or destroying) now all this stuff has its own missions, compare to previous game when you got message somethig like "ok bro now to be able continue your story you need to capture or destoy 89% of all enemy buildings or wehicles" and the same thing you need to redo probably 3 times. As result if you wanna just play main quest you can rush it without any stops on "endless towers farming". Another funny aspect of gameplay is ability to drive tank and try to destroy enemy tank (so now you can play World Of Tanks in FarCry XD). Plot or story probably feel the same as for all previous part so nothing new its OK, yeah it contains some trans/black/strong women moments but it only 1/3 of overall stories (nowadays it can be much more so be happy that in this game it not 100% as TLOU2). Also plot contains one or two funny characters so not bad results as for me. In conclusion, I can say that this game is a little underrated, it feels similar to the previous parts, and in some aspects this game is a little better. So if you has some 20h of free time and friend that can play with you in coop mode (yeah full game can be completed in coop) so i recommend to try it, but try to get it on sale (save your money =D).… Expand

    It's an ok game, but it's worse than the last four Far Cry games. There's no incentive to take the map on foot, there's no reason to hunt and scavenge, and no reason to gather money like previous games. You can't buy things like ammo you can only connect it so what's the point

    Also I need to admit that map is divided into 3 mini maps,that we already saw in FC5.In each region there’s own Villian, and group of civilians/ex-guerillas u need to help to made up their mind to fight at your side against Castillo.And here’s what I think of these regions:
    First Suggested Region of Farmers - trash, with uninteresting characters and primitive villain
    Second Region of Rappers - not good, not bad most of the characters are still trash but there’s a decent characters like Bicho or Bembe, Villians are interesting but flat.

    Really loving the Farcry and AC series, but the latest FC installments is just a copy and paste, i really hope they get more inspiration with the next AC and FC game. It is not a bad game, but when you play the game its like you all ready played it, just a new world with story .

    Characters:

    Weapons & Gameplay:
    I tried every weapon and while it's fun to one shot helicopters with blast rounds/arrows, or taking down an outpost without getting noticed it gets repetitive very fast.

    The Amigos system fell kinda flat for me, It had so much potential with cool companions, but I found myself dismissing them because they got in the way and did not really offer a great addition to my arsenal until I got Oluso who actually worked well with my playstyle.

    The Supremo Backpacks is a good addition to this game. I don't really have any negative to say about them, I tried all of them but ended up only using two and for the late game only the one from the Triada questline.

    Multiplayer:
    Tried some Co-op as well and it is really glitchy and not so smooth as I was hoping for.
    It felt like the game was rushed like many other titles from Ubisoft, and could have used another 6months in the cooker.

    Closing thoughts:
    This is not a terrible game I would not have finished it if it was, but as I wrote earlier it could have used 6months or more in the cooker just to polish mechanics, story beats and the AI to today's standards.

    I don't really think it would be fair to give this game a lower score than 5 because, at least for me, Ubisoft games usually works flawlessly. They are technically great if I'm being honest. But everything else is not. I dropped this one halfway through, the plot was horrid, no memorable characters and there's even a alligator with clothes, totally braindead game.

    Far cry 6 is about the same as you’d ever expect from a far cry game. I did enjoy my time with this game but it’s mediocre at best. The story was ok enough to push me through, nothing groundbreaking but ok enough. Gameplay, gunplay, driving etc is pretty much the same.

    I wouldn’t recommend this game. I’ll only be replaying it on my PS5 for trophies and not because I wanted to revisit it.

    It really is just more of the same, but frankly less interesting than past Far Cry games. It is pretty, open world, and has moments of excitement, but mostly it's just a grind to get through each storyline and finish the game... Especially if you don't care for all of the random side games and quests.

    Минус третий - сложность. Играя на макс сложности вся сложность пропадает, если сесть в танк. Ты уничтожишь все КПП, все военные базы, заводы, что угодно, а тебя никто не сможет даже поцарапать. Бонус - наедень шмотку с автопочинкой транспорта и ты буквально неуязвим. Штурмовые вертолеты, элитные танки, самолёты, спецназ с рпг-7 - все обращается в прах. Нет танка? Нет проблем, покупаем за уран Супремо медика с самовоскрешением и огромным хилом +кучей гаджетов для хила. И все, вы неуязвимы.

    Минус четвертый - супремо. Полезны только два - ракетный и медик. Первый на начальном этапе игры, чтобы сбивать вертолет и уничтожать танки, второй - все оставшееся время игры. Механика интересная, но не продуманная от слова совсем.

    Минус пятый - сюжет (без спойлеров). Персонажи картонные, без глубины, плохо прописанные, антагонист в подметки не годится Пейгану Мину или Иосифу Сиду, у которых вся личность строилась на внутренней силе, харизме, умению делать так, что враги их боятся, даже без угрозы расправы. Что есть у Антона Кастильо? Сын мечущийся между добром и злом, и куча садистов-генералов, которым отданы на откуп 3 крупных региона.

    Минус шестой - в игре казалось бы много активностей, но делать их нет ни малейшего желания. Гонки ради 200 песо? Скука. Десятки сборов эйрдропов? Интересно пару раз, остальное уже бессмысленный дроч. Сбор идолов? Сбор записок? Сбор флэшек? Сбор петухов? Сбор ящиков FND с рандомным дерьмом как лутбоксы? Бессмысленно, за это нет нормальных наград, это сбор ради сбора. Даже сайдквесты невероятно унылы. Угнать танк. Убить врагов в точке А. Принести вещь.

    Минус седьмой - напарники, они же Amigos. Это животные. Не умеют воскрешать. Не наносят дамаг. Путаются под ногами и колёсами. Практически бесполезны, максимум внимание отвлечь.

    Как-то так. Из плюсов в игре шикарная графика, хороший саундтрек+радио (Viva la vida loca, Havana, куча этнических островных треков), в принципе некоторые записки и сайдквесты интересные.

    Итого - худший фаркрай из номерных. Скучно, не интересно, примитивно, вторично (ммм, свержение диктатора на островах, Just Cause промышляет этим уже 16 лет и делает это лучше, чем FC6). Не стоит своих денег 100%, разве что по большой скидке    … Expand

    I honestly knew this game would be bad the second the game loaded for the 'second' time after a timeout issue which prevented the game from loading the first time, the very first mission being a stealth mission that you cannot be seen at all otherwise instant death which should have been so much better to set the pace moving forward but proves to be more frustrating.

    A step backwards from Far Cry 5 which is unfortunate but usually expected after a good earlier release to live up too, and FC6 does not. Many bugs and issues hold the game back as well as absolutely poor flying/aircraft controls which is unforgivable because FC5 had quite good control methods for aircraft whilst FC6 has abysmal controls, even some ground vehicles like the hovercraft are an absolute chore to drive and even simple things like auto-drive barely work!

    Feels like it tries to borrow heavily from games like Wildlands and the Just Cause series and just fails in almost every department even though on paper, the concept is sound. The story is a bit cliche but what isn't these days? Your typical despot dictator and you're part of a revolution to bring peace to an ailing country, throw in tons of vehicles, bases to capture and dozens of collectables aka the usual Ubisoft open world recipe and in theory the game should be pretty playable, but Far Cry 6 suffers greatly in so many areas that is just doesn't work very well at all.

    The bandito submissions are always absolutely terrible and basically are similar to a mobile/facebook style game where you select a leader, wait several "REAL TIME" hours for the mission to start, and these can be pretty long, and the timing counts down even when your offline with maximum time for you to come back otherwise the mission is cancelled, for example the most common is a 1hr timer for the mission to start, with 12 hours or so for the player to start the mission before its automatically cancelled.

    The gunplay is subpar too, and early in the game you like any firepower to fighting helios is a literal borefest since you can't headshot the pilots, don't get me wrong...it has some good ideas that borrow heavily from games like wildlands but fails to capitalize on any of those ideas.

    The bugs and issues in the game are also a huge problem, occasionally the game doesn't even load and timeouts and heads back to the menu, often requiring several attempts to load your save game. Couple that even auto-drive issues, terrible AI, overpowered enemy helicopters and armor.

    If you are new to this franchise, do yourself a huge favor and skip this one and get Far Cry 3 and Far Cry 5, easily the best in the series, this is a complete failure.    … Expand

In Far Cry 6, the enemies are mostly braindead, even walking past in front of them, they won't do anything at all, so sometimes I even bump into the enemy when the envrionment is too dark.

    The story is very mediocre, I don't find any interesting part for the character because they seem doesn't care at all. Throwing another party when the job is done even though some of their friends are dead, wtf? The characters have very little interaction between themselves, they are just a bunch of npc that gives me quests and have me finished it. All they care is to take over the current political state without a clear reason, just for the sake of doing it. There's nothing follow up after taking over the state.

    In my playthrough, I just want to rush it through to the end because the main campaign is too boring. The character, story is very dull and unintersting. Finding some critical parts for the main mission by looking at the photos is turning me down for enjoying the game. Listening the MC talking on the phone repeating the same line about hardtime finding billboards over and over again is so ridiculously annoying. For the gameplay, because the enemies are mostly braindead, so there's no challenge at all. Rushing through the camp is no problem because they can't see you, and you can head shot them so many times since they just stand there even if you are right next to them. It seems like Far Cry series is going backwards. The older titles have much better dynamic stories and characters, the enemies AI is even better and smarter.     Thats normally the stongest point on every FarCry game... And it started so well... As a Spanish speaker i loved the proper feel of how the conversation went with the expressions, and the voice acting was stellar as usual! big props to the cast!
    I have no idea how the game went form cool well built characters and villain and went to SJW fanfiction on the second half...
    By all means have diversity on your stories im not personally against that but the way it got done it was so messy it looks like a charicature... It felt like you just trying to check all the virtue boxes and it got lost on it... if you try to include everyone it feels forced and out of place.
    A whole area of your game felt like babysitting angry teens... very annoying and lt was the last thing i did on the game before the end and it felt like a bore...
    The ending also *NO SPOILERS was a giant letdown and there was no big decision to be made or even bittersweetnes on the outcome, the story just... died... and the setup was just fantastic at the start i was enjopying meeting everyone and then it slowly turn boring.
    Big hope that the user score make the devs understand that storytelling is paramount and getting involved on woke politics is just boring... or maybe is just me!    … Expand

    I couldn't even bring myself to finish it. once you finish an area you never contact or been contacted by them again.. took me 30 hours to beat the game + some side mission.

Враги максимальные дауны, я тупее реально не видел еще ИИ в играх, а играл на макс. сложности , которую они позже добавили. Сюжет ваще какой то невнятный, даже обсуждать его не хочется, не интересный.     Such a boring and frustrating game. I’ve just finished it and feeling super disappointed all round. Some incredibly boring missions. Drive around the whole map and shoot down all the billboards or keep getting an annoying phone call over and over and over again. This game sucked.

    Also, there are all kinds of mechanics that make this game more of an RPG, but a bad one. First of all, role-playing games with guns don't work because headshots should result in death and should not result in numbers flying off of your enemy head (and if you disagree with me, you're obviously wrong), but secondly and more importantly, Far Cry is supposed to be a first person FPS and not an RPG, but the devs will sneakily try to push their RPG mechanics on you anyway.

    The graphics are actually surprisingly bad. I am not complaining about that though, because the upside is that I am able to maintain 50+ fps on my laptop, but I can imagine that some people will be upset when they spend 1000 EUR on a new video card, turn all the settings to "ultra" and then they see a game that looks like it was released 5 or 10 years ago.

The third person cut scenes take away from what farcry was i played through and beat the hole game and didn't unlock or even get close enough cash to buy a good weapon i wanted. The game was constantly freezing and crashing i was playing on Xbox one s and the animal allies pretty much do nothing but get in the way i was very mad about what one of my favorite games has turned into i did like how you can pic your character tho but i completely regret buying this game and im a little disappointed that i waited for a new farcry just to get this.the story was good tho but a little short also… Expand

    I got the impression that Ubisoft only had enough money for one screenwriter, since the entire budget went to open-world designers. And more likely she poor guy riveting template plots for all ubi games. For the open world here as always just a peek, and the story - the standard travesty of the villain to get to him killing his assistants.

    I actually had the impression that I was playing Ghost Recon, but with a first-person view. The main villain here is not a psychopath, as before, but a sadistic cruel dictator. Interesting missions are few, mostly banal, of the template type: deal with the radio towers, deal with the propaganda, release the rebels, etc., etc. This is all we have seen more than once in past parts of the Far Cry and in other series of games from Jubisoft.
    In the end, there is nothing new or exciting to immerse yourself in the game! All the same travesty of idiocy, bots appearing out of nowhere and a lot of unnecessary content.    … Expand

It ranges from complete incompetence (as if there is none) to extreme accuracy, especially when they throw grenades at you or shoot you from moving vehicles while chasing you. Inconsistent but mostly clueless. Remember that deal where you open cages for animals in camps so you can watch with great joy how they attack the bad guys? Well, here I've done that several times and I dare say, most of the time nothing happened. Either the animals didn't move or just went out randomly and got killed asap. Just an example.

    I have zero doubt in my mind, that Ubisoft are just rehashing their own games and outsourcing them to their much less experienced teams. I think it does say it in the starting credits too. After all how much can you mess up when you are just rehashing stuff? Very lazily put together product.

    And now for the elephant in the room - The politics and the story.
    I have never played a game that's more woke than this. Even if you try to ignore it, it comes back with a vengeance and hits on over the head with it repeatedly. Relentless and very heavy handed.
    The STORY is very simple and bland. If there was 0 wokeness in this game, it would still be mediocre at best. But because they went overboard with it, it not only comes as unrealistic and therefore impossible to immerse yourself in, but also incredibly annoying.

    This is the woke paradise. 70% of the NPC soldiers and random people are female. Every leader character is a woman. Men are there but they are just those goofy/weak/simpleton beings that are bereft of any willpower or skill. If you play the game as a male, u are the only one that doesn't fall in that category. This time they decided hey let's push it even further and now you have trans characters as well. Nothing is subtle here, because what's more important that someone's sexual preferences?

    Strong and well written characters, whatever the gender, are something I'm always gonna endorse. The "kids" here are anything but. They all have attitudes and decision making skills of a high school edgelord. This is supposed to be some gritty revolution squad, but they just stand around looking at their phones 24/7 (new standard idle animation?) dressed up all "cool and trendy" around their fancy camps. The bad guy is the only normal person, but his involvement is so miniscule that they had to put posters of him all around the game, lest you forget he was in it.

    Of course you have an evil white man corporate american guy, who even calls your group of misfits - libt*rds. Subtle to no extend. All of this weighs on your mind as the game bombards u with useless information. I've even stopped reading the notes and letters I find, because it's so uninteresting and bland. What a waste of time.

    You might be wondering - will this game and it's agenda influence children? Yes, children because the game is not made for adults. It can't have been. It feels cartoony, it bears no deep philosophical meaning, it doesn't make you think. So I will say - no. The kids are safe. Most of them would play it for the bang bang and wonky physics and won't ever pay attention to the politics.

    To the woke community, I want to say, that this game is doing them a huge disservice. It paints you in ways you don't deserve to be painted. It showcases an extreme side, ironically, not better than the far right. And I want you to think about this:

    The wokest game ever that tried to hide behind the face of a straight right man on a power trip. Why? Because of money. If Ubisoft truly cared about any of this, they would make a MEANINGFUL game with meaningful characters - they would put trans/lesbian/black whatever character on the cover with rainbow and flowers and fancy slogans.

    But they can't be hurting their sales now, can they?

    - The NPC AI is so god damn stupid. Like really. BS.
    - Even on the hardest difficulty it is so ridiculously easy. You take barely no damge at all, regenerating in lightspeed and the helicopters are the most ridiculous thing ever.
    - This stupid UI which wants to constantly make me show the controls for the vehicle or overfloating my screen with icons, it's just horrible
    - This damn boring story.

    So my resume at the end is, don't buy it! It's from Ubisoft, you shouldn't set your expectations high.    … Expand

Same repetitive game play with a lot less variety than in past games and uninspiring story.     There isn't much that stands out with this game. The story is the main reason I finished it but it wasn't that great. The NPCs will literally spawn in front of your eyes, so that moment when you think you cleared an area... think again! Combat was satisfying at times, but I was able to use the same gun from start to finish so there is little to no progression in that department.

    The game is crap because of the monkeys who don't like this game and want to see different things all the time. Although I don't like the story of Far Cry 5, it was a very good game. all they had to do was make the same game and add a new story. what's the point of extracting the skill tree?!

    Unplayable on the PC as it stands. Randomly crashes to the desktop with respawning forcing you to restart missions from halfway across the map. Enemy spawning issues, sudden jarring changes to 3rd person for no reason. I'd say I'm surprised but sadly I'm not.

    Pros:

    * Excellent graphics - the DXR lighting is fantastic. * Water rendering is also top shelf. * Finally they brought back a voice-acted main character, thank you. The mute protagonist in both New Dawn & Far Cry 5 was unforgivable. * Excellent weapon modification system - it's good to see so many options for tweaking / customizing your weapons. Easily one of the highlights of the    Pros:

    * Finally they brought back a voice-acted main character, thank you. The mute protagonist in both New Dawn & Far Cry 5 was unforgivable.
    * Excellent weapon modification system - it's good to see so many options for tweaking / customizing your weapons. Easily one of the highlights of the game for me as I really enjoy all the guns and modifications for them.
    * In cutscenes you now actually see your character which is a nice change.
    * Gameplay performance is actually pretty good and smooth.
    * Quest design is mostly good (see cons).
    * Some of the missions are well-designed with open combat in mind - bigger battles and things like that which are a lot of fun. "Run and gun" type which are nice to mix in with some of the more stealthy missions.

    Cons:

    * In typical Ubisoft fashion (of the last 5-8 years or so, anyway), the game is full of left wing extremism / wokeness / feminism / alphabet agenda. I'll never buy a game with this agenda in it. This is a "girl-power" and "alphabet people" game. The narrative and characters are not meant for normal people. This game is made for the ~5% of the world who can't figure out what gender they are. So just be advised of this upfront so you know what you're getting yourself into.
    * Similar to the above, there is anti-America propaganda in the game via dialogue as well - typical Ubisoft.
    * No manual saving
    * Choppy Cutscenes
    * Oversteering bug is present when driving vehicles that basically makes it impossible to drive any of the vehicles beyond a light coasting speed without auto drive enabled. This should have been caught during QA testing quite easily but Ubisoft is infamous for their poor [see: nonexistent] QA so this isn't really surprising.
    * Game only sold on Uplay & the Epic Fail Store; two stores I don't do business with - I buy games on Steam & GOG. If the game isn't sold at one of those stores, you have a 0% chance of ever earning a cent from me on any game.
    * Some of the core missions have some bad design flaws where you basically have to die the first time due to limited time in completing a task that you'll only be able to do if you already know where everything is.
    * Takedown system is really bad - Far Cry 3 and 4 had the best by far with easy to use chaining and you could easily mix things up to focus on hand-to-hand combat in stealth situations which is borderline impossible in this game due to how bad the takedown system is.
    * Miss the SA-50 semi-automatic Sniper Rifle from Far Cry 4. All the sniper rifles in this game are bolt-action which can be tedious.

    Game Length: ~54 hours. I did approximately 95% of the game (basically everything minus a few chests and collectibles)

    Final Rating: 3/10. So...I used to be one of the biggest Ubisoft fanboys on the planet. I'd pre-order every Assassin's Creed & Far Cry game on Steam and pre-load them asap. But something happened about 5-8 years back where it seems as if Ubisoft got rid of all of their good developers and replaced them with left-wing political activists. And the resulting games, their respective stories, content, and Ubisoft's overall reputation has taken a [predictable] hit. Their business is failing, stock is in the toilet (lost ~35% of their stock value over the last 3 years when many people have been at home playing video games and watching movies). If Ubisoft wants to avoid being sold off like the running joke that they have become, some solid advice would be to jettison the woke bs they continue to push in seemingly every game they release and get back to making solid games that gamers, who, let's be honest, are mostly straight males, want to play. If not, that's okay, too, I'm happy to spend my money on games that are made for me and not left-wing lunatics. Until then, I'll just keep screening Ubisoft games by borrowing copies from friends before ever paying for a copy from Ubisoft as at this point I fully expect them to keep shoe-horning this type of nonsense into every game they release.

    Oh, and Far Cry 4 is still king of the franchise. By far.    … Expand

    Квесты максимально однообразны и в 80% случаев вам предстоит перестрелять какое-то кол-во охранников и украсть/уничтожить какой-то объект. Но тут и всплывает проблема тупых NPC - по стелсу, который постоянно навязывает разработчик, проходить скучно, а в открытую слишком просто даже на втором уровне сложности (их тут кстати всего два. Сюда же приписываю и сюжетные квесты - они настолько же слабо проработаны, иногда даже разницы не замечаешь между побочкой и мэйн квестами
    И тут мы приходим к сюжету. Скажу честно, я нейтрально относился к всякого рода меньшинствам. В общем соблюдал солидарность. Но вашу мать, эта нарочитая повестка настолько беспринципно проталкивается играми и прочим медиа в мою повседневность, в которой она нафиг не сдалась, что у меня заканчивается терпение. И ладно ещё, если бы этих персонажей с повесткой головного мозга было всего пара-тройка, но они составляют буквально 60-70% твоих союзников, а оставшиеся 30% жестко ими критикуются без всякой на то причины внутри контекста самой игры. И пускай их было бы столь много с хорошей проработкой, но нет, они существуют внутри игры буквально ради провокации. Вы не встретите здесь персонажей с сильным бэком, понятной мотивацией или сильными и подкованными убеждениями. Никто из них не вызывает чувства уважения за время игры, а банда школьников вообще смотрятся максимально нелепо. Из-за всех этих моментов в сюжет просто не верится, особенно когда смотришь на главного "злодея" истории, который выполнен на удивление добротно, чего не скажешь об его приспешниках, которых можно охарактеризовать только "фриками" как и собственных союзников за редким исключением.
    Теперь к визуалу - многие анимации остались ещё с третьей части, что выглядит уже скорее кринжово. В целом такое ощущение, будто графика не улучшалась с момента выхода четвёртой части. Есть красивые пейзажи, но только ради них в игре не особо хочется задерживаться. Размеры карты пошли только в минус, так как тут и без того хватает затягивающих (в плохом смысле) факторов помимо неё
    В общем из-за всех этих моментов я не могу порекомендовать эту игру как фанатам Far Cry, так и новым игрокам - она скучная, а во многих моментах даже раздражает или разочаровывает. Своих денег не стоит, советую дождаться скидок если будет совсем нечем заняться    … Expand

    Impressively stupid and useless AI. The enemies see nothing, hear nothing, hit nothing and run through the area like headless chickens. The quests are the usual boring "get there and break something" or "get there and kill something". On the whole, a rather disappointing game.

    Far Cry finally got rid of the most annoying bits (like the infamous towers), but that’s pretty much the extent of the series’ progress. Far Cry 6 doesn’t improve on the core concept in any way. Still, all the expected mechanics work as advertised and keep the game above the line.

    Far Cry 6 is a work that strives for progress while maintaining stability. There are ancestral gameplays of the series that have not been outdated, and some system optimizations and improvements that keep pace with the times. In general, it is still a familiar formula and a familiar taste.

    Upon reaching the end of this review, I’ve come away with a revelation. Yes, Far Cry 6 is the accumulated chemical detritus from years of similar lab experiments, layered and stratified, compounded with time and pressure. But it isn’t a catalyst. I am. I played Far Cry 6 to completion: I pressed buttons to shoot guns and progress the plot; I killed an inordinate number of animals to buy upgrades; I equipped new pairs of pants to make myself stealthier. And at the end of it all, I felt nothing. I was unchanged by the experience.
