    a mediocre Far Cry game, just a different storyline, guns and animations, the graphics are the same as ever and even Far Cry 4 has a smarter AI, made only for money. If you want a good Far Cry game, go with 3, 4 or New Dawn. This is trash.

    - Hunting is now completely obselete
    - Ingame currency is useless. There is nothing you can buy anymore after 40% of the game because you find it anyway in chests. - No more skills. Instead you find armor pieces that give you resistances or some classic far cry skills (grenade takedown, more lmg ammo, etc.) when worn - No real motivation to clear outposts undetected. You only get    Cons:
    - Hunting is now completely obselete

    - The big city is not an open world city like praised in the trailers. It is just a completely hostile zone
    - Balancing is bad. There is no reason to use anything but Armor penetrating rounds.
    - Bows are ok but you can not change your arrows anytime anymore
    - The only resource that really matters in the end is gunpowder. Everything else will be thrown at you

    Pros:
    - The world is beautiful, detailed and fun to explore
    - The gunplay feels good

    -Parece el juego de The walking simulator, el mapa es excesivamente grande, pero además a lo tonto y tienes que pegarte unas caminatas de cuidado, lo cuál muchas veces se hace pesado.

    - Han intentando hacer muchas cosas como en GTA V, como el medidor de "liarla parda" y si está muy alto de repente vienen los swat del tercer mundo, que son igual de imbéciles y tontos que los demás. Te los puedes ir cargando tranquilamente, pero ya son molestos

    No sé que más decir del juego, es muy largo y muy variado pero a lo tonto, no se siente demasiado fluido. He jugado 24h y me he cansado ya, así que lo he dejado y me he pasado al borderlands 3.

    Basically just a dollarstore Just Cause.

    Horrible story, buggy AI, SJW agenda, no real perk system and the world feels hollow despite being the largest Far Cry yet.
    But hey, at least weapon customization is fun and my danger-backpack goes brrrrt

    Atmosphere and soundtrack of this game is horribly good, and it’s how it affects on your perception of the game, and it makes u feel u are in totalitarian Cuba or something.
    Plot and Direction,first of all the plot it is strangely told but it’s exist ( unlike FC5),and most of it carried by Antoń Castillo (Giancarlo Esposito) by his charisma and different appearance unlike Vaas, Pagan, Joseph, how’s he acts and what he does to make Yara a new paradise.But ending is forgetting all of these and says: Anton is sick that is why he kills his own son.On the other direction of the cutscenes is decent in main quests, and horrible in side quests.
    Also I need to admit that map is divided into 3 mini maps,that we already saw in FC5.In each region there’s own Villian, and group of civilians/ex-guerillas u need to help to made up their mind to fight at your side against Castillo.And here’s what I think of these regions:
    First Suggested Region of Farmers - trash, with uninteresting characters and primitive villain
    Second Region of Rappers - not good, not bad most of the characters are still trash but there’s a decent characters like Bicho or Bembe, Villians are interesting but flat.
    Third Region - amazing characters, female villain ( two scenes - First scene introduces here, second scene shows her dead body) , and McKay is the greatest villain of all regions because of his personality and motivation.    … Expand

    Characters:
    I found myself getting really annoyed at most of the characters and even the protagonist Dani, but decided to finish the story to see what would happen with Antón and Diego.

    Weapons & Gameplay:
    I tried every weapon and while it's fun to one shot helicopters with blast rounds/arrows, or taking down an outpost without getting noticed it gets repetitive very fast.

    The Amigos system fell kinda flat for me, It had so much potential with cool companions, but I found myself dismissing them because they got in the way and did not really offer a great addition to my arsenal until I got Oluso who actually worked well with my playstyle.

    The Supremo Backpacks is a good addition to this game. I don't really have any negative to say about them, I tried all of them but ended up only using two and for the late game only the one from the Triada questline.

    Multiplayer:
    Tried some Co-op as well and it is really glitchy and not so smooth as I was hoping for.
    It felt like the game was rushed like many other titles from Ubisoft, and could have used another 6months in the cooker.

    Closing thoughts:
    This is not a terrible game I would not have finished it if it was, but as I wrote earlier it could have used 6months or more in the cooker just to polish mechanics, story beats and the AI to today's standards.

    El juego esta roto por todos lados, crashes, bugs, etc. El launcher de ubisoft es malísimo. Es curioso como el AC Valhalla tiene el mismo nivel de bugs y crashes, es decir, están muy poco pulidos.

    The game is fun and engaging, but repetitive after a few hours. The main complaint I have is about the crashes. It crashes on PC pretty often when you open the menu and with the retarded no-save-file system it can happen you lose 20 min of your time because it crashes right at the end of a quest, which surprise-surprise you have to restart from the beginning after the crash.

    To begin, I just want to say that I have played FarCry 3, 4 and 5 with my personal favourite being 3, these games are most definitely fun however I was going to delay myself in playing this one until next year purely because I feel most of these games are the same type of thing and I just didn't want to jump back in right away, but after seeing a favourite streamer of mine play the game, ITo begin, I just want to say that I have played FarCry 3, 4 and 5 with my personal favourite being 3, these games are most definitely fun however I was going to delay myself in playing this one until next year purely because I feel most of these games are the same type of thing and I just didn't want to jump back in right away, but after seeing a favourite streamer of mine play the game, I bit the bullet and got the game.

    Gameplay - Well if you have played FarCry 3, 4 or 5, then you will feel right at home here. Nothing has changed in the mechanics of the combat really, you get guns, upgrade the guns and shoot enemies. It is most definitely a fun time but if you have played all the entries of the series that I have, then you might be feeling a little burned out from it after a certain time playing this one. I adopted a stealth approach in this game and killed mostly with a suppressed sniper rifle, I found going all out combat made the game much more difficult so did my best to avoid it.

    Differences - This game is mostly the same as the others. The new additions are backpacks called Supremos that have certain effects like missile launches or health packs, plus Resolver weapons which are quirky guns you can use, I honestly didn't care for this feature too much. There are also Amigos which are pets who can travel alongside you and fight with you, but again, didn't care much for it.

    Visuals - This is a big win for me, I played on a fairly high end PC and felt the game looked absolutely gorgeous at times, particularly the landscapes which is when FarCry looks its best. Take a helicopter up into the sky and just look around, your jaw will drop, it is a stunning game. Everything on the ground looks good too.

    Crashing - I wanted to follow with this as I mentioned having a high end PC but I did experience regular crashes, probably every few hours I would play, I would experience at least one crash and as frustrating as it was, it didn't completely sour my experience of the game. I am not sure how the consoles differ but it is something to just look out for if you are playing on PC.

    Story - The story is basically the exact same thing, you will be doing everything that you were doing in the last games, which is try to free sections of land from a 2nd in command-type leader and taking them out, before eventually going up against the big baddie. In this case it is Anton Castillo who is played by the amazing Giancarlo Esposito, he steals the show whenever he is on screen and I immediately found myself becoming super focused whenever he would appear. I don't think its fair to compare him to other villains of FarCry as he is great in his own way. A big surprise is the main character - Dani, I played as the female version and she was fantastic, she has a great voice actor, is a bit cheeky and a badass, she was probably one of my favourite things from this experience, even just little things like her singing along to the radio music in the car was enough to win me over, very cute. I do feel we get a lot of time with other characters and not nearly as much time with Castillo, they are fine but nothing really to go crazy about, even the other main characters like Juan and Clara weren't all that interesting to me.

    Side Quests - There are a lot of these. You will be doing outposts, artillery takedowns, ambushes and a variety of other things and I did all of these, it will take you a lot of time and I don't recommend doing this if you have played previous games unless you really want to, because I got burned out rather easily after a while because it is mostly the same in this game, and it is the same for all the previous games too. As for other side quests, like side stories, there are those as well and some are really fun and interesting, like a mission where you have to escape from a massive amount of juiced up roosters for example, however in the later end of the game the side quests felt very lazy, you get a few photos on your phone with no marker and you just got to go find a multitude of these particular things to complete it, it becomes very frequent on the third island and wasn't overly fond of it at all. There are also treasure hunts which were my favourite type of side quests, felt like Indiana Jones hunting through caves while finding lore along the way, good stuff.

    Collectibles - There is a lot of stuff to collect, there are hundreds of chests to find that give guns and crafting items, there are roosters to obtain for cock fighting (didn't really care for that), plenty of sheets of paper containing lore etc. It will take you quite a long time to get everything and I didn't bother with the chests to be honest, it just wasn't worth the effort.

    Final Rating - It is a fun game but my biggest complaint is that it just feels more like the same thing and I am a little over the formula. After 52 hours of game time, I am very much ready to move onto something else.    … Expand

    However, despite the last issue, the game does look good, some of the characters can be interesting, and the gameplay is pretty fun as well, although it has taken a step back in some areas; there are no more skills, instead you get all of your abilities from the start, and the progression here is handled through the obtention of weapons and armor sets, which have different appearances, as well as abilities and properties attached to them.

    I personally like the customization, the game has transmog for the armor sets and equipment sets, so you can mix and match aspects of your character's appearance, at times you can also get some pretty cool things for your weapons, like add explosive ammo, and change how the weapon looks and controls. Silencers actually work this time, and there's even different sets that you can get for them, so it's this really cool way to add progression and customization.

    The game is really bloated though, this is a huge issue, perhaps the biggest one of them all, the game is divided in subsects and you have to complete every mission in each of these segments in order to finish the game, it's a pain to say the least, after a while it just becomes really tiresome to complete missions that essentially have you doing the same things.

    But Far Cry 6 overall is a fine game for what it is, the formula has worn thin for a while, and there are way better games in the franchise at this point that you should play before going to this one, but if you're curious, this is a game that has its fun elements.

    You even get a backpack that can provide you with some cool abilities: shoot rockets out of it, trigger an emp that can make chopper literally land, only for you to hijack them, etc.

    Men bad, men weak, men evil, men cowards. Women strong and good. Gay and trans is also very good. The game has loads of ridiculous (in a bad way)    I would have given a 6 because sometimes it's kind of fun, but alas the game is dragged down by wokeness.     Just another Carribean fight of some generic bad guy, with a group of revolutionaries that are about as unique as white bread. The bad guys are basically all snipers, I swear they don't miss and they are always behind cover 95% of the time. It's just boring and more of the same with nothing innovative. After 4 hours of trying to get involved I gave up.

    With my AMD Radeon 6900 XT and FidelityFX turned on ultra quality, I can easily play this game butterily smooth with all settings cranked up to Ultra even with DXR shadows and reflections on at 4K resolution. The visual quality is good enough, but I have seen much better looking games.

    I really like buddies. They are super cool and you will enjoy playing with them for sure. I don't know what Ubisoft was thinking. I can't speak for all of the fans but I am willing to bet a year salary that when asked no far cry fan is going to say their favorite part of Far cry is looking through menus for hoursI am legit baffled as to how this game got such high reviews from most major gaming sites. What I always loved about these game is the chaos aspect and how enemies would die if you shot them in the head. The fact that it took me six shots from a sniper rifle (3 in the head mind you) to take down a single soldier is the most ridiculously annoying thing ever. Am I missing something here? I mean wtf is this!? Seriously! The only thing I can think of is this game wasn't made for me and that's totally cool I can respect that but I have played the far cry since the original so I guess I had some expectations on what this game would be.     It's an ok game, but it's worse than the last four Far Cry games. There's no incentive to take the map on foot, there's no reason to hunt and scavenge, and no reason to gather money like previous games. You can't buy things like ammo you can only connect it so what's the point

    Thecnically it's a good game with smooth gameplay just like the previous ones. Story can also be funny at times but so so so repetitive. High time for major changes in the series

    47 hours of fun, 100% game progression. but such a terrible ending. The game is not great, more like a 6, but I was hoping to find some closure with a good ending, there was none.

    Far cry 6 is about the same as you’d ever expect from a far cry game. I did enjoy my time with this game but it’s mediocre at best. The story was ok enough to push me through, nothing groundbreaking but ok enough. Gameplay, gunplay, driving etc is pretty much the same.

    I wouldn’t recommend this game. I’ll only be replaying it on my PS5 for trophies and not because I wanted to revisit it.

    Минус второй - оружие и боёвка. При первом взгляде на арсенал может показаться, что оружия много и это действительно так. Вот только 80%+ оружия - откровенный хлам.

    Минус третий - сложность. Играя на макс сложности вся сложность пропадает, если сесть в танк. Ты уничтожишь все КПП, все военные базы, заводы, что угодно, а тебя никто не сможет даже поцарапать. Бонус - наедень шмотку с автопочинкой транспорта и ты буквально неуязвим. Штурмовые вертолеты, элитные танки, самолёты, спецназ с рпг-7 - все обращается в прах. Нет танка? Нет проблем, покупаем за уран Супремо медика с самовоскрешением и огромным хилом +кучей гаджетов для хила. И все, вы неуязвимы.

    Минус четвертый - супремо. Полезны только два - ракетный и медик. Первый на начальном этапе игры, чтобы сбивать вертолет и уничтожать танки, второй - все оставшееся время игры. Механика интересная, но не продуманная от слова совсем.

    Минус пятый - сюжет (без спойлеров). Персонажи картонные, без глубины, плохо прописанные, антагонист в подметки не годится Пейгану Мину или Иосифу Сиду, у которых вся личность строилась на внутренней силе, харизме, умению делать так, что враги их боятся, даже без угрозы расправы. Что есть у Антона Кастильо? Сын мечущийся между добром и злом, и куча садистов-генералов, которым отданы на откуп 3 крупных региона.

    Минус шестой - в игре казалось бы много активностей, но делать их нет ни малейшего желания. Гонки ради 200 песо? Скука. Десятки сборов эйрдропов? Интересно пару раз, остальное уже бессмысленный дроч. Сбор идолов? Сбор записок? Сбор флэшек? Сбор петухов? Сбор ящиков FND с рандомным дерьмом как лутбоксы? Бессмысленно, за это нет нормальных наград, это сбор ради сбора. Даже сайдквесты невероятно унылы. Угнать танк. Убить врагов в точке А. Принести вещь.

    Минус седьмой - напарники, они же Amigos. Это животные. Не умеют воскрешать. Не наносят дамаг. Путаются под ногами и колёсами. Практически бесполезны, максимум внимание отвлечь.

    Как-то так. Из плюсов в игре шикарная графика, хороший саундтрек+радио (Viva la vida loca, Havana, куча этнических островных треков), в принципе некоторые записки и сайдквесты интересные.

    Итого - худший фаркрай из номерных. Скучно, не интересно, примитивно, вторично (ммм, свержение диктатора на островах, Just Cause промышляет этим уже 16 лет и делает это лучше, чем FC6). Не стоит своих денег 100%, разве что по большой скидке    … Expand

    Что то изменилось с 5 части? Да изменилось, ужасный сюжет, физика воды просто пиздец, играть стало неинтересно так оружие валяется везде, никакого хардкора нет

    If you like the other Far Cry games then it is much of the same big dumb fun. I personally enjoyed that aspect for a while but it does become a bit repetitive later in the game. For me it was the story that dragged it down a lot, was definitely the first game in the series I just didn't care for the story and some cutscenes I found myself skipping because they were too cringe to bare.     I haven't played Farcry since Farcry 3, and unfortunately not much has changed since my last Farcry experience. The "game" is honestly very fun, but it feels more like a sandbox than a game. Ubisoft really needs to reinvent this franchise. It's odd to give a game a decent score, knowing that I would not pick up the next few version of the game if they did not change the core gameplayI haven't played Farcry since Farcry 3, and unfortunately not much has changed since my last Farcry experience.     - The game is WAY too easy. There's really zero reason to ever sneak. I go into every fort blasting and I have died on a couple of times throughout my entire gameplay experience. Helicopters and tanks should feel like a challenge rather than just another enemy variation.

    - Enemy variation is extremely lacking. There's no reason to run soft rounds, just use armor piercing and aim for the head.

    - Enemy reaction time is way too slow. You can kill 5 people standing next to each other with a silenced weapon before one will even shoot at you

    - Break the cookie cutter mold on fort and other objectives. Each should feel like a unique experience. "Less is more."

    - No real leveling system or ways to customize your character outside of guns and "Supremos."

    - Consider adding "new age" leveling mechanics such as leveling rifle skill by using rifles. This should apply to all vehicles and other skillsets as well. The character should not be good at everything right off the bat because he did 4 years of army boot camp.

You can oneshot every enemy with an headshot, but if you aim for the chest you need like 5 magazines per enemy. Even with an mounted 50 cal it takes forever to kill someone. The game is full of bugs.     A worse far cry 5, which I loved. more of the same, in a less interesting and rewarding way. The A.I is so bad in this game, it is laughable. When I played the game also had a decent amount of bugs. The only saving grace was giancarlo esposito.

    Far Cry + Ubisoft Open world

    It plays exactly as you envisioned it. Just less interesting.

    Performance is pretty bad considering FC 5 was very good.

    If you compare it to FC5, it's honestly a downgrade in terms of story and immersion.
    This Far Cry went with a more "Just Cause" type gameplay which kinda killed it for me.

    Disappointed describes the game at best.

    They completely removed the crafting system which was a pretty strong addition to the other games in my opinion by getting more loot space, extra weapon slots, they even removed talent points which is a very odd choice. Finding where animal types were on the map and going there hunting them correctly and crafting what is essential as loot space, bigger wallet etc felt very satisfying.

    The starting was quite dull and chaotic at the island, think they could have done a much better job at introducing characters, combat and scenery-wise.

    The combat in the game is close to nonexistant on normal difficulty, buy/get a strong one shot rifle, slap on a silencer and you can take out a whole base/checkpoint in 10 seconds without anyone knowing what happened, kind of silly. Which makes me think they should have some leaders who are very superior like in The Division where you actually have to fight and use your tools.

    The map is pretty big, I though it was much larger at first but it feels about the same as the 5th, perhaps 20% larger, though much of it is ocean. There is a sht ton of collectibles all over which I am spending a lot of time on just to delay the story going to an end.

    The AI is perhaps more stupid than ever, if you ride/drive 10 meters next to them they start screaming and running although you are driving perfectly normal, and if you drive on the correct side of the road and move the steeringwheel ever so slightly towards them (before straighting up) they choose to drive to the other side of the road and collide, like every time.

    A thought I have is about the dialect, english mixed with what I assume is spanish dialect, at times is can become obnoxious, I think this was perhaps a problem in the 4th too, got a bad memory so could be wrong, but I wonder if it would just be better at the native language of the given place with english subs or just standard english if anything, I think it might just be some bad written lines or voiceacting making me feel that way because sometimes it works great too.

    The charcters are, some decent, some really bad ones, the main characters seem ok but most of the ones you meet in the 3 different "counties" are kinda boring. I think with very interesting cinematics and backstories in the 3-4-5 you got to know people and it was interesting characters while in the 6th they are just there, not much to it. Also way too much of a comedy tone to it, it's like in the middle of a war and people are cheering, joking around, swearing at everything, not a single one shed a tear, experienced trauma or something remotely interesting.

    If you know Far Cry this is just what to expect, I just hoped they would outdo themselves and the graphics are sometimes really impressive by the ocean, and sometimes you wonder if you are in Far Cry 2 back in the early 2000s on a 3070 gpu at ultra, muddy/unclear textures. Maybe the graphics engine got to go?

    I have now nearly done all side missions and collectibles so only the some of the main story left and I'm left with an empty feeling of everything just being a chore. I think the game is worth playing but this could easily have been Far Cry 4 instead of Far Cry 6 and thats worrysome in 2021. I think I would give it 6/6.5/10 and in comparison I think I would give the 3rd game 7/10, the 4th 7.5/10 and the 5th 6.5/10.

    I really really hope they choose a very interesting time or location next time and maybe many more cinematics like in the 4th and 5th which is what they are best at and have a gripping story where we run into the villain many times and maybe introduce choices again?    … Expand

    It really is just more of the same, but frankly less interesting than past Far Cry games. It is pretty, open world, and has moments of excitement, but mostly it's just a grind to get through each storyline and finish the game... Especially if you don't care for all of the random side games and quests.

    this is a difficult game to review. it has its obvious flaws but obviously some strengths to consider before buying it:

    a rich an true open world like the ones of the witcher 3, elder scrolls and others, usually offers you to have impact. you are the hero (or even a villain) and the world lets you know that. what you do, changes things - even outside the storyline the developers want you to live through. whereas the setting of farcry 6 suggests a lot of potential full of grayscales, it remains superficial instead, tries to shock but doesn´t reflect. you are the good one. the other ones are bad. shoot them. don´t ask.

    the story itself is decent, carried by a set of characters that is an interesting mixture of memorable and „meh“. most of them are based on clichees and archetypes we know from other media as film, some of them offer some depth, most of them don´t. nonetheless the cast and its stories remains interesting enough to go on.

    the shooter part is great, customization and crafting is nice (but seems completely unnecessary after you find your first unique weapon, a pistol that you will most propably use until the end screen). side activities are fun (but the meaning of most of them is simply to unlock a new spot to fast travel to) and the enemies are some of the dumbest i have ever seen. that being said, the game is far too easy and doesn´t offer any difficulty settings above the casual player.

    i still find reasons to like the game though. the world looks fantastic and at some points creates so much atmosphere you could cut it with a knife. that starts with above average graphics, good character models, farsight, and the mood the lighting creates. the interactions with the world are as usual great and feel great - you are not just a camera floating and shooting above the surface, but your movements feel real. voice acting is awesome (and i usually prefer a talking hero to a silent person, which feels … strange?) and some of the companions (the dog on wheels!) are just as cute as they are creative. the mission design - especially the main missions are awesome and extremely varied - much in contrast to the open world that seems livelier than it is.

    i still give it a 7 as it makes more things right than it does wrong. if you can overlook the flaws i mentioned (and the other ones .. there is more) and want to have fun shooting (and some more), then this game is for you. if you expect for a war crime saga that provoques some though - like spec ops: the line - look somewhere else.    … Expand

The game does have some RPG elements in it now, but they are relatively minor, and do not significantly change the gameplay from previous releases.

    I still enjoy the action and the huge amount of content, so you can absolutely    an *Ok* entry in the FC series.     Really loving the Farcry and AC series, but the latest FC installments is just a copy and paste, i really hope they get more inspiration with the next AC and FC game. It is not a bad game, but when you play the game its like you all ready played it, just a new world with story .

    Mas o jogo é ruim por causa disso? Absolutamente não. Tanto o mix de culturas latinas, ambientação maravilhosa e a melhor trilha sonora da franquia toda dão pitadas de novidade ao game.

    Dessa vez o protagonista tem uma personalidade mais marcante, mas achei o vilão menos inspirado que os anteriores. Os Far Cry sempre foram algo meio alucinado e fora da curva com relação ao antagonista, mas no 6 senti que ele é o mais "normal" que eu já vi nos últimos jogos.

    E a história é interessante, e até arranha a superfície do que é ser um revolucionário, lutar contra um regime autoritário, mas não dá tempo de se engajar nas motivações dos personagens.

    Porém, acho que nem deveríamos levar muito a sério a história já que esse título não é para ser um RPG, onde vc vai ter N ramificações da história, escolhas morais, etc.
    No final vc sente que faltou uns 30% a mais de campanha pra evoluir tanto o Antón como o filho dele. Mas novamente, não é um RPG, é pra ser tiro porrada e bomba sem pensar demais.

    O maior defeito desse game é isso: fica reciclando mecânicas no lugar de propor algo realmente diferente e tornar a narrativa mais complexa e ramificada, com mais personagens e mais missões únicas.

    Mas se vc só quer um FPS competente, lutar com galos enquanto escuta músicas maravilhosas, vai fundo.    … Expand

    Far Cry 6 offers decent gunplay, beautiful graphics and an acceptable story. Sadly, I feel like it's a step backwards from Far Cry 5 which just had a way better atmosphere, villain, etc.

    Far Cry 6 is a 20 hour ffirst person shooter where you play as either male or female version of Dani Rojas because ubisoft cant commit to a story.. and this is ultimately Far Cry 6’s downfall, at first I was in love with Far Cry 6, having a Far Cry 3 feel.. the beginning island was so detailed and memorable, Iwas having a blas doing the beginning missions, and then the game opened up about 3 hours or so in and wow did it feel like the soul left the body of this game.. here your goal is to take down el president Anton Castillo, and much like the previous far cry game, to get to him you have to take down targets around him to expose him for an attack.. however unlike Far Cry 5, nothing o nyour journey to take him down stood out…
    Far Cry 6 reminding me a lot of Just cause 3, in that while youre in this massive world, everything felt pretty cookie cutter generic.. and unlike just cause 3 the weapons weren’t crazy enough to keep fully entertained and there weren’t great story pieces pulling me through… just the same stuff over and over again, get to the spot on the map, deal with checkpoint along the way, take them over for future fast travl points, get back to the mission, kill all the people there.. thankfully youll unlock pets such as a crocodile or puppy to help along the way to attack and distract, but kill all the nemies, or find a key card so you can enter a building to throw a switch, or kill al the enemies and hack a computer which is just you guarding It while a percentage meter fills, over and over and over.. again no great story piece or story telling within the actual campaign except maybe couple of times.. really exposing the games bloat, I felt like I was doing side missions through most of the campaign.. I know box numbers are imorptant to people spending 60 to 70 dollars on a game, I get that.. but I would prefer and epic 12 hours over a mediocre repetitive 20.. I would even be fine having to level up to unlock those story missions and feel an urge to liberate the island and find weapons, if the grind didn’t feel obnoxious and get in the way of my play… maybe I have to capture a certain amount of enemy bases… if that means I get some story missions with some effort rather than feel like an algorithm developed the game.. Ill take it…
    Overall Far Cry 6 had its moments that made me laugh or moments of me actually having fun, but for the most part I felt lke I was just going through the motions of a soulless shooter, chasing credits rather than chasing the next epic event around the next corner..
    Far Cry 6 is a good shooter, it is brimming with things to do and weapons to find, you can even play with friends… but wow does this game do nothing memorable.

I dont like TPS camera in camps, big titles when changing regions a specially when need layout for mission or gps for car. Ammo mechanics are rather understandable but stupid illogic. Its still AAA game but downgraded. Better to start FC5 highest difficulty once again.    … Expand

It didn't crash, the voice acting was great, the motion capture was top notch, the voice scripts were good, the graphics were fantastic, the gameplay was smooth, and the music was great. That said, as great as this game is, there are two very big problems with the game that keep it from being a great AAA game to just an okay AAALook, I'm gonna be honest. It's a great looking great. It didn't crash, the voice acting was great, the motion capture was top notch, the voice scripts were good, the graphics were fantastic, the gameplay was smooth, and the music was great. That said, as great as this game is, there are two very big problems with the game that keep it from being a great AAA game to just an okay AAA game. Specifically, the mechanics and the AI. The AI on the enemies is lackluster - the combat is just WAY too easy. Also, mechanically the game is the exact same game as Far Cry 3, Far Cry 4, and Far Cry 5. I know that you "shouldn't break what isn't broken" but there's been enough time since Far Cry 3 that you expect a little bit more innovation at least. I mean, it's been 9 years since then. What has the team in change of mechanics been doing in those 9 years?… Expand

    If you liked prior FC games this one is more of the same but with a bigger world and options of toys. Story was cool, love the character Dani and the gangster Juan madlad. El Tigre is my dude and Chicharone is Chicharone. I love the liberdad life, message, and with the global climate it seems very appropriate and well done. World is big and graphics are beautiful. I don't care that someone was bi, trans, or a crossdresser. If you were being ruled by an evil authoritarian madman I doubt your sexuality would be a big part of your life. All that crap feels very unnecessary and crammed in to avoid any backlash for feelings from a vocal minority. Get woke go broke is the theme and had I known about the lame stuff going into it I wouldnt have subb'd to Ubi+ to try.… Expand

    A bit grindy, and I do not like how enemies spawn randomly near you, making it impossible to play tactically. The weapons also are tuned for action, not stealth of tectical gameplay. A sniper rifle that doesnt kill people with a clean shot to the head? I also got many crashes while playing. But in general, it is what any Far Cry fan would expect and I enjoyed it so far.

The mission system gets boring because there is a lot of copy-paste. The most fun of them are the treasures hunts. Driving land vehicle/horse is a pain because of the very limited point of view. Flying is actually fun, exception of the planes weird controls. Sailing is a mix bag. Swimming is just difficult to enjoy. Interacting with the diverse characters in the three groups of guerilla is interesting, because they are so different from one another. The music is excellent. I especially like when your Dani is singing. Nice touch. RPG elements are often useless or not very deep. Like buiding stuff to reveal points on maps. The special operations were a gimmick for average stuff. I skipped cock fights (make me angry that's in the game). The Amigos seems funny at times, but were very hard to level up, and some always dying. The AI was abysmal often. It seems to work sometimes, but you always get an idiot AI doing nothing AI in front of you. So, I give the game 62%. The actors, the music were certainly fine (and kind of wasted). But overall surely not the best of the franchise.… Expand

    Однако часть касающаяся повествования - огромный минус. Несмотря на пару неплохих ходов, история в целом - это безумный цирк, в который ни на секунду не веришь. Начиная от их образов и заканчивая их поступками. Немалая часть дегтя в превращении некоторых элементов сюжет в элементы ММО.
    Центральная мысль прошлых частей - борьба главного героя с создавшимися незнакомыми ему условиями. В шестой же части разработчики прошли и мимо и окунули игрока в неубедительную историю революции страны третьего мира. Несмотря на свое тяжелое состояние, Яра географически больше схожа на серию ГТА, из-за чего сильно теряет свои корни.
    И вот беря во внимание вышеупомянутые минусы, не могу не отметить, что по итогу степень погружения сильно и сильно понижена.
    Люблю серию и не считаю шестой Far Cry провальной частью, но ей есть куда расти, пока она не окончательно потеряла свою линию    … Expand

    What it lacks is the usual polish of the FC franchise, with some things feeling unfinished or undercooked, like the many things you can read scattered about the landscape, which remain active and readable after you have read them, and the many wild mission givers, again remaining active, calling your name after you've already taken the mission.
    There's a strong misogynistic streak running through the game, with equal numbers of fighters being female, and a trans man being played by, uh, a man!
    The basic plot is infuriatingly nonsensical. Add poison to tobacco to cure cancer, and enslave the population to farm it.
    The whole tone is brutal and dark, with little opportunity for fun.

    I honestly cannot make heads or tails of the review bombing of this game. It is, assuredly, the 6th entry in a franchise. As such, it contains and maintains many ideas, aesthetics and tropes from previous entries, while trying to carve out its own identity. Balancing the identity of the work with the identity of the franchise is a fine line, but I believe UbiToronto did a pretty bang upI honestly cannot make heads or tails of the review bombing of this game. It is, assuredly, the 6th entry in a franchise. As such, it contains and maintains many ideas, aesthetics and tropes from previous entries, while trying to carve out its own identity. Balancing the identity of the work with the identity of the franchise is a fine line, but I believe UbiToronto did a pretty bang up job in this. I am biased in favour of the Far Cry series, that should definitely be stated, however, I won't heap unearned praise on a work simply because I like the franchise.

    I had little to no game breaking or otherwise immersion breaking bugs. There is certainly still some performance being left behind due to poor optimization, and if they don't fix it, that will be frustrating. AAA games should be well optimized on release.

    The main thing I wanted to write this review to say: this game is, in fact, exactly what the haters claim it is not, which is to say a very thoughtful development of the core idea of the franchise. Yara as a locale works great to develop intrigue, and the pseudo-Cuban history is compelling and interesting. Playing as female Dani, I'm very impressed with the voice actor, and I have rarely heard another character talk and be taken out of the moment. Gameplay wise, the shooting is still very good, the vehicles are fun, if a bit silly, and the other mechanics around base building and item collection are novel, if not always super compelling. Many of the foundational aspects of the series have been remodelled here, and pretty much across the board in interesting and fun ways. The soundtrack is also the best I can remember for this series.

    I will also note a strong majority of the low scores came out incredibly quickly after the game launched and seem to have had little to no actual experience with the game, or were disappointed about a lack of localization. I don't know about you, dear reader, but that doesn't really seem like a 3.8 worthy review situation to me.

    TL,DR; its good. Its probably the best refinement of the formula to-date. Everything that makes these games good/fun is here and boosted. If you're worn out on FC games, then like, don't play FC games.    … Expand

    Maybe this is shocking stories to Americans,but for the rest it is a sad reminder that these ppl have been destroyed by dictator and by the USA. I wanted deeper shi*¢ than that, with mystical undertones throughout. But the gameplay is awesome, the RPG isn't all bad. So as a plain Fps    It is a disappointing game.

    The AI have been improved since New Dawn, but it's still dumb af.
    The introduction of this RPG like clothing system is unnesecery and bad. It gets worse when you need to watch for the different ammo types which you can die from, but you can't see how much immunity do you have for each one.
    I didn't like the anti-aircraft sites too, because they block you from going from A to B in the air (with a vehicle). Bugs
    I only incountered one bug, where I didn't get the reward for a treasure hunt.

    Overall, Far Cry 6 is an enjoyable game which needs some polishing in the future.    … Expand

    Ну, что сказать... Он типо есть, но не каноничный для фар края как я считаю. Антагонист не такой харизматичный как в 4, 5 и нью дон. Протагонист стал больше решать в сюжете чем раньше. Кароче акцент сместился с антагониста на протагониста. Там есть 3 основ группировки, которые нам помогают это любители фарминг    Ну я не могу сказать что хуйня, но не могу сказать, что хорошая.

    Ну, что сказать... Он типо есть, но не каноничный для фар края как я считаю. Антагонист не такой харизматичный как в 4, 5 и нью дон. Протагонист стал больше решать в сюжете чем раньше. Там есть 3 основ группировки, которые нам помогают это любители фарминг симулятора (7/10), любители соевого пориджа (музыканты) (3/10) и ветераны 67-го (у них там революция была) + малолетки-подпольщики (9/10) Основ организация (Libertad) она есть только в начале и в конце и иногда по телефону, а так её почти что нет.
    Геймплей.
    Я просто в ахуе... Физика всего что движется это просто пиздец. Я не знаю как они смогли сломать автопилот транспорта который всегда хорошо работал в прошлых частях. Оружие как оружие, кроме этих пушек и модификаций из говна они мне не зашли.
    Графика.
    8/10
    Карта.
    Я считаю что она слишком огромна и мало точек быстрого перемещения ибо пользоваться этим транспортом это пиздец.
    DLC.
    Они меня разочаровали. Там это 3 миссии примерно на 2-3 ч каждая, с одинаковым скелетом и разными текстурами и озвучкой.
    Итог.

Understand the hate but I think giving it a 3 is a bit too hateful. This game is what it essentially was from the start, and is continuing the franchise in the intended way.

    Worst. Characters. Ever. Except villians, of course!
    No idea how even possible to kill Far Cry 3-5 spirit, but they done it! No storyline, all male characters are bunch of weak and stupid clowns or psycho, but all females are real Rambo-like "strong and independent". Even main villians are more humane and attractive, than all that leftists. I really wanted an alternate ending!!    Worst. Characters. Ever. Except villians, of course!

    Gameplay? Just grind after grind almost without any fun, FC 5 was so better. Music? - dislike. Guns? Yeah, but they add some ridiculous unusable futuristic items. Graphics? Yeah, good looking!

    kinda surprised about "RED" tier of this game, it definitely should be in "Yellow" tier.i mean its not a bad game it strongly "OK" game nothing more and definitely not worst that FC5 or FCND and now i will try to explain why i think so. First that you probably can notice it audio/visual part of the game it much better compared to previous part. Art style looks in the same way but overall chanchig of main theme really do good job as for me (dictator in small country compared to religion wars in some district in FC5). Gunplay feel good with ability to customize your weapons - many kind of attachments and also skins (yeah it ubisoft game so this game cant exist without all this microtransactions). Whats really big plus of this game that all this boring stuff that like ubisoft (avanposts, towers and more that you need to endless capture or destroying) now all this stuff has its own missions, compare to previous game when you got message somethig like "ok bro now to be able continue your story you need to capture or destoy 89% of all enemy buildings or wehicles" and the same thing you need to redo probably 3 times. As result if you wanna just play main quest you can rush it without any stops on "endless towers farming". Another funny aspect of gameplay is ability to drive tank and try to destroy enemy tank (so now you can play World Of Tanks in FarCry XD). Plot or story probably feel the same as for all previous part so nothing new its OK, yeah it contains some trans/black/strong women moments but it only 1/3 of overall stories (nowadays it can be much more so be happy that in this game it not 100% as TLOU2). Also plot contains one or two funny characters so not bad results as for me. In conclusion, I can say that this game is a little underrated, it feels similar to the previous parts, and in some aspects this game is a little better. So if you has some 20h of free time and friend that can play with you in coop mode (yeah full game can be completed in coop) so i recommend to try it, but try to get it on sale (save your money =D).… Expand

    I don't really think it would be fair to give this game a lower score than 5 because, at least for me, Ubisoft games usually works flawlessly. They are technically great if I'm being honest. But everything else is not. I dropped this one halfway through, the plot was horrid, no memorable characters and there's even a alligator with clothes, totally braindead game.

    This game is pretty good. This game has better soundtrack, cinematic intro, great villain, good gunplay, supreme weapons. The story is OK but boring after you play Just Cause series. This game is that I nicknamed as Ubisoft’s Just Cause with its theme. The villain and his son part is so perfect and interesting to me. The rest of the rebels part is literally hit or miss. The soundtrack ofThis game is pretty good. This game has better soundtrack, cinematic intro, great villain, good gunplay, supreme weapons. The story is OK but boring after you play Just Cause series. The soundtrack of this game is OK but forgettable. But the game has a disappointing fact that it isn’t has any gory and realistic death like Wolfenstein and MK games. This game has brutal takedown but I want this on gory death animation and thrown into body pieces when throwing grenades. I love this game when it has gory deaths. The second disappointment is that this game is too easy when playing Action Mode. For challenging player, play as Guerrilla Mode. Another fact is that guns are easy to obtain. The big disappointment is that level design is same as FC 5 and base upgrade is same as FC New Dawn.… Expand

    Far Cry finally got rid of the most annoying bits (like the infamous towers), but that’s pretty much the extent of the series’ progress. Far Cry 6 doesn’t improve on the core concept in any way. Still, all the expected mechanics work as advertised and keep the game above the line.

    Far Cry 6 is a work that strives for progress while maintaining stability. There are ancestral gameplays of the series that have not been outdated, and some system optimizations and improvements that keep pace with the times. In general, it is still a familiar formula and a familiar taste.

    Upon reaching the end of this review, I’ve come away with a revelation. Yes, Far Cry 6 is the accumulated chemical detritus from years of similar lab experiments, layered and stratified, compounded with time and pressure. But it isn’t a catalyst. I am. I played Far Cry 6 to completion: I pressed buttons to shoot guns and progress the plot; I killed an inordinate number of animals to buy upgrades; I equipped new pairs of pants to make myself stealthier. And at the end of it all, I felt nothing. I was unchanged by the experience.
