    It's like they took everything I loved about Far Cry 5 and removed it. They literally took all the creativity of customizing your character and made it so where you have to wear something you wouldn't even choose to wear in order to obtain an ability? That is just ridiculous.     Let me start by saying that I am a huge fan of the Far Cry series. Far Cry Primal was maybe the most underrated game of the franchise and both that and FC 5 were probably my favs. Also loved 3 and 4.

    It's bad because:

    - The story line sucks. The Viva Libertard plot line is the most boring vanilla thing I've ever experienced. It literally seemed like they hired an intern out of writing school and said "Ok now write us a plot that is Cuban rebellion themed." And this is what they came up with.

    - Characters were horrible, boring, and forgettable. Generic Che Guevara manual written woke amateur written dip ****

    - Supremo. Need I say more? What moron thought this one up? Let's stick the character with the most OP piece of equipment ever conceived right out the gates! Homing rockets that one shot anything! Yea!

    - Forced 3rd person in bases and cut scenes breaking the iconic immersion that Far Cry has always been known for. This is actually arguably the greatest offense of all in my opinion. Need to understand? Go back and play Far Cry 2-5 and then try playing Far Cry 6 again. The immersion breaking scenes are jarring and they ruin the experience.

    - Bug ridden to all hell. Don't even bother trying to play coop with your friends. No one will want to play coop with you when the person who isn't the host literally can't even access most of the NPCs and vendors, and doesn't access the special equipment like the wingsuit. Not to mention the thousands of other bugs I experienced. Oh btw both characters literally look exactly the same at all times because they removed character customization.

    The optimization in the game is very bad, and bugs are almost everywhere.
    As an example: I fell under the map 10 times, animations sometimes break and recently all models disappeared.

How it is possible to f*** up every single aspect of the game after glorious Far Cry 5 is just a mystery to me.     Instead, I got garbage that's been recycling for almost 10 years where the only originality is in the worst kind of corporate tryhard humor that I believe only Ubisoft is capable of that absolutely nobody can relate to. No one wants to spray water towers with the name of a BDSM rooster, so he could be your companion. No one wants the main mission objective to be collecting vegetables for a vegan so she could enjoy her BBQ party. And all that while carrying a huge absurd backpack all over your back that shoots rockets, which is also probably the worst thing Ubisoft ever put in their game.

    Seeing all those modern "problems" projected in a game like this and spending 10 hours trying to enjoy it, but not being able to because of how annoying it is, was most likely the worst gaming experience I had this year.    … Expand

FarCry 6 is such a departure from previous games and contains sickening WOKE values instead of providing an entertaining shooter. "Get woke, go broke!" has proved to be a valid slogan used by sane individuals to describe the movies, video games, and other media and has proven that these social experiments are failing, just as is the movement.

    The fact that the vast majority of "bosses" in a violent crime-ridden country are female is just another example of wokeness that needs to be removed from gaming. Sure, women can be tough and mean and all that, but it is a known fact that men are generally the more violent of the sexes and more likely to lead these criminal gangs. I also do not want to do a mission is a game where I have to help a transsexual character get a surgical procedure so they can feel good about themselves (until they likely commit suicide). This is not my idea of a fun game.

    I will be watching Ubisoft games very closely now and will no longer buy games that are infected the way FarCry 6 is. I say this as someone who owns over 40 Ubisoft titles at present.    … Expand

    Do not buy unless you have amd new gen gpu.. Game is not optimized for nvidia graphics cards and is strongly favoring amd gpu as this title is amd sponsored. Also, even though this is previous gen engine, it requires 16gb vram for hd textures, as also explained by Ubi:
    “ Please note that the minimum requirement for running the HD Texture Pack for Far Cry 6 is 16GB of VRAM.”, again to push    Do not buy unless you have amd new gen gpu..     PS5 version of the game has crashed 2 times so farand has the typical trade mark of Ubi Soft titles (Glitches etc). Graphically it is lacking for a next generation title, not what I was expecting. Avoid its just dissapointing.

    1. "The Division" crap, bullet sponge enemies, gear levels and grinding fest.
    2. in restricted areas outside of a mission mainly, enemies keep spawning while you are at it, its not like you clear the area and come back for them to respawn, they keep spawning while clearing the area, you cannot liberate the area and get rid of enemies for good, only checkpoints are cleared and taken, but other areas will still be restricted even if you cleared it.
    3. no skills, now its up to the gear you are wearing, lets say you need bullet proof endurance, you have to equip a crap that has this option, but you need fire endurance as well, then you need to equip another gear for it, so you cannot have both, you can measure this behavior on stamina, health and so on.
    4. as stated in first point about "The Division" crap, enemies have levels, even their vehicles have levels too, if you are below enemy level and shot a helicopter, enemy, tank,... with an RPG, it will be a walk in the park, no actual damage or minimal damage is done.
    5. vehicles are not unlocked by clearing camps/checkpoints, you have to steal it and ride it to any base location that have vehicles call support for it to be unlocked for you
    6. chests everywhere, the grinding in this game is extreme.
    7. Detection system (Enemy AI) is so bad, but well its the same with every Ubi game.

    those are the main issues with the game, i hated FC:New Dawn because it had somehow similar mechanics and many players complained about it, instead of making FC 6 better, they went full scale with the same crap with it.

    Message to Ubisht: STOP STUFFING "THE DIVISION" CRAP INTO EVERY DAMN GAME, its not fun, it doesnt work and you are ruining good games, i know you are obsessed with The Witcher 3 and want to copy it in every game until you get a hit but you are doing it wrong and like idiots with every game, you dont have to change the whole game play mechanics for people to buy the game, the most important part of the game is the story and plot, then a dynamic world with fun activities and not a repetition of the same missions, and last IF IT AINT BROKEN, DONT FIX IT!!!!!    … Expand

    The gameplay is not upgraded much from Far Cry 3, they added some RPG elements but they do not stick. The story is boring as most of the characters. Definitely the worst Far Cry release.

    The game is boring. They're sick with a caricature of reality in this game. Zero unique and engaging story, no character development, paid gameplay elements. Drama. Ah and that LOLA. A vivid advertisement of a certain brand with perfumes. It cannot be described, it has to be seen. And the mini-game with Lola is boring to power.

    This is my last game I purchased from Ubisoft. I will check each new one first because I am already puking LGBT, "strong women" and micro-transactions.     The good is easy, the animal companions are fun, cute, and all around hilarious in combat that can compliment your "guns-blazing" or "sneaky-stealthy" style of gameplay, and the Cuban culture is modernized well-enough to resemble the way it was back in the 50s. The bad is overwhelming, I will summarize most of it in the +/- down below because I would need more than 5000 characters to dole out the harsh criticism this game deserves, but I will touch on the politics because it is just becoming a plague on the entertainment industry and should be called out at every turn.

    The political themes make no sense, I get that you activists want to attack everyone for being a "fascist", but Castillo, like Bautista who he is clearly based off of, is a Socialist (or Marxist) dictator. The Cuban Revolution itself was created by a far-left Communist in Castro, so I am not quite sure where the "fascism" is coming from? Unless you mean modern day governments with medical mandates & segregation? Oh right, my political opinion is not allowed, just Ubisoft Toronto & Shanghai, my mistake.

    Stop injecting this garbage into every title, the people playing your games are not far-left communist revolutionaries that are miles removed from reality, we are people who play games to escape this same political garbage we have to deal with every day. You want to make a game where we play as the Cuban Revolutionaries? Do it, sounds awesome, but when your game is clearly trying to make statements to parallel real-life modern day politics with diversity quotas and attacks on people who are not far left... don't be surprised when you get deserved 3/10 ratings and harsh criticism lobbed your way.

    Also, feel free to tell us why we should take political pandering cues from a company that is full of communist activists, sexual harassers/assaulters, anti-white racists, and has not put out an excellent title in almost 10 years...

    This pile of trash pales in comparison to any other Far Cry game because you managed to take an open world shooter full of over the top action, quirky characters, and legendary bosses, and turn it into a boring, repetitive, preachy, and dull experience that has terribly annoying cliché characters and modern political talking points.

    I'll even say this... if I could roam around this sandbox making my character stronger, attacking outposts/military bases, AA sites and the like with my favorite pet animal by my side... I would give this game a solid 5 or 6, but the fact that I have to listen to children dreaming of role-playing as the cowardly Che Guevara and incessantly being called by these annoying side characters, made this game an absolute chore to playthrough. Pathetic.

    + Animal companions are fun
    + Cuban culture is well done

    - There is nothing new or innovative here
    - The story is a boring slog
    - Skill trees replaced with GR Breakpoint RPG clothing
    - Microtransactions
    - Managed to waste Giancarlo Esposito's acting abilities
    - Cliché characters that are boring and annoying (they like to call you A LOT)
    - Textures that either look absolutely amazing or slightly worse than PS2 graphics
    - An HD texture pack that needs 11GB+ to work
    - Abysmal optimization
    - Instant respawns within enemy zones (We're talking Far Cry 2 level respawns)
    - Game is not very challenging and has no real difficulty
    - Has a $159.99 Ultimate Edition with a season pass when the core game is unfinished
    - Exclusivity, which means no Steam or Nvidia DLSS
    - How did you manage to forget about Italian language localization?

    Overall, there is nothing new here in the formula, just a new setting, an extra gadget, and the same mind-numbing gameplay you have already experienced from ANY other open-world shooter. All of the previous entries are superior to this one. I would suggest waiting until this game is like $20, even then, that is probably an overpay. Poor effort Ubisoft, just like Assassin's Creed, this franchise is on life support.    … Expand

    I cant find single positive diffrence betwen Far Cry 5 and this one... Sadly i cannot refund it anymore but really if somebody wants to play this game juts get FC5 and wait until this is on 15-20$ sale i dont think its worth more money than that !

Ich habe mich schon lange nicht mehr so durch ein Spiel gequält bzw. musste mich zwingen es weiter zu spielen, weil es einfach ein so abgenutztes Gameplay Designe bietet.     A low effort game made by developers who couldn't be bothered to flesh out any of the characters, story or game play mechanics. Even Antón Castillo couldn't save this snooze fest because he is barely in the game and they don't do anything that interesting with him. I would avoid touching this.

    I couldnt tell you the last time I loaded up a game and had to quit because of how poorly it ran. Far Cry 6 is exactly what I expected. I didnt expect any new content. I just wanted the same style of gameplay we have had year after year. Unfortunately this game runs so poorly on my 3070 I cant play it. I have tried adjusting every setting possible. I run any and every game at max settings.I couldnt tell you the last time I loaded up a game and had to quit because of how poorly it ran. Far Cry 6 is exactly what I expected. I didnt expect any new content. I just wanted the same style of gameplay we have had year after year. Unfortunately this game runs so poorly on my 3070 I cant play it.     The map is big, But big does not matter that it is good!
    Now I am going to download Ubisoft's games only from torrents,
    Far cry 3 had corrupted save files and I had to download the game from the torrent to play the game on the second island.

    Pretty solid game. it's a bit "if you like the other games you will like this one"
    But they added improvements, I like that I can choose my gender and a pet I can use to attack/search.
    some characters I got annoyed at but that also happened in far cry 4 so o well XD.
    If you like far cry 4 i think this is up that alley.
    it's less visual effects like you had in far cry 3 and 5.

    -No hay doblaje al castellano y el juego ha salido a precio completo. No me parece mal que el juego no se doble a todos los idiomas mientras eso suponga que el juego salga a precio reducido.

    -Solo disponible en Uplay y su basura de DRM causa crashes aleatorios.

    This game is a blast. It is fun, the amigos are cool, the action is awesome. It's Far Cry. I don't want it changed up too much, I like the Far Cry loop. If I want to play something different, I'll play a different game.

Not only because of stupid bugs such as an enemy respawn (looks like they hire monkeys for QA) but because they ruined the settings. Their worst mistake was styling this game like Watch Dogs 2.     Underwhelming, don't buy until it hits 90% discount. It mostly seems the developers hit a writers block after creating the characters and didn't create a story as well written and composed as Fc5.
    Another problem is that you literally can't see the game because of the dense jungle, by comparison a desert would've given you a better sense of exploration.

This game does not even try to capture guerrilla warfare in the slightest, yet constantly tries to remind you of its supposed setting with ridiculous dialogues and woke speeches. Graphically it's a downgrade from Farcry 5, and it truly has some of the most controlling and uncaring characters I've seen in a game that pretends to have a story. It's unfortunate I had only realized how bad this game is the moment I was offered a crappy boat and a passive aggressive advice to sail all the way NA to work in an American Supermarket.     Good game but it manages to totally crash both my PC s . They are both i7 10th generation and i have an RTX 2060 on one and RTX 3070 on the other . Also it is outrageous that Ubisoft asks you to renounce your right the ask a refund for the game if you download it .

    They actually do change it quite a bit from the last Far Cry, almost all changes are for the worse. The game forces you into the most boring possible play style, enemies are bullet sponges, story is convoluted and uninteresting. Easily the worst Far Cry

    There has been a huge decline in the quality of games and it's not all because of the Pandemic. This is even worse than AC Valhalla. Also there's a mission where you find veggies for a vegan. I think we just need to start our own game studio since these big companies can't make good games anymore

Only the design and decorations, but that's not enough for the game. And for the "entertain yourself" system, the world in the game should be at least a little alive. And it hurts me to look at it.     I loved all the Far Cry games since Far Cry 1, I've been dying to play Far Cry 6 for months. I've spent 15 minutes now and I'm going to uninstall it. In this game, Castro was a massmurdering dictator like Hitler and you're reminded about it constantly. He talks in speakers all the time like in Just Cause, which was 100 million times better game, at least Just Cause was PLAYABLE, Far Cry 6 is not. Just Cause was FUNNY, Far Cry 6 is depressing, pretentious and broken. The game starts with a guy getting murdered by the evil communist troops in the streets, because the writers were 12 year olds who think of communism and leftist politics the same way Reagen did. Then your friend in the game throws a bottle at the troops because he wanted to get shot, you know, he shouted to them "please kill me now because I'm stupid and thought I'd attack you with a bottle after you just killed a guy in cold blood and at which point you obviously would kill any witnesses you'd be made aware of, which I just did by shouting at you and throw a bottle without making any attempt to escape having done it", that's just such amazing Oscar-level writing! OMG! SO REALISTIC! WHAT STUPID **** IDIOTS MADE THIS GAME HOW THE **** HELL DID THEY GET A **** JOB ANYWHERE!!!!! The action gameplay is JUST AS BAD. Shooting someone up front in the head is like shooting someone in an Amiga 500 game in the 80s. "HHH *WAGGING* IM DYING IM FALLING OVER AAA IM DEAD". No physics. No blood, no gore. Games made 15 years ago was more realistic than this. Far Cry 6 was a planned ripoff of a well-known franchise to sell tons of games to kids from 3 to 7. You can't skip most cutscenes, the #1 hallmark of the worst games in history. There is no difficulty setting. There is just "baby mode", which they call "story mode", because God forbid having to spend more hours on this SCAM of a game than necessary. Not to mention different difficulty levels would CONFUSE THE 3 to 7 YEAR OLD KIDS. The example picture when you change graphics settings doesn't change when you change quality. At all. When you turn toward the setting sun and the other direction, the screen goes from pitch dark to super bright. This game is completely broken, they didn't even try to finish it, on top of it being A SCAM. NO ONE who worked on Far Cry 5 worked on Far Cry 6.… Expand

    Thanks for releasing it only on Epic Store instead of Steam. Now as a fan of this great serie I can't even enjoy this game because it's released on this ****** platform.

    0/10 until the game is added to Steam. If you are so greedy that it prevents you from simply raising the steam price, that’s stupid. And what about graphics? Next gene downgrade?

    Far Cry finally got rid of the most annoying bits (like the infamous towers), but that’s pretty much the extent of the series’ progress. Far Cry 6 doesn’t improve on the core concept in any way. Still, all the expected mechanics work as advertised and keep the game above the line.

    Far Cry 6 is a work that strives for progress while maintaining stability. There are ancestral gameplays of the series that have not been outdated, and some system optimizations and improvements that keep pace with the times. In general, it is still a familiar formula and a familiar taste.

    Upon reaching the end of this review, I’ve come away with a revelation. Yes, Far Cry 6 is the accumulated chemical detritus from years of similar lab experiments, layered and stratified, compounded with time and pressure. But it isn’t a catalyst. I am. I played Far Cry 6 to completion: I pressed buttons to shoot guns and progress the plot; I killed an inordinate number of animals to buy upgrades; I equipped new pairs of pants to make myself stealthier. And at the end of it all, I felt nothing. I was unchanged by the experience.
