    An excellent game for killing time, I got a lot of pleasure from passing, but there is one but stupid people who saw one bug and write that it is bug-like and Italians who are offended by the lack of voice acting do not know English in 2021

    It's a great Far Cry installment. Of course, the game has some rough edges, but generally speaking the game is really fun. Set in a gigantic tropical open world, with really well designed characters and a decent story, I really like it.

    But of course, that's up to your personal judgement. The game does come a bit grindy at times, but also fixed a lot of its previous grind! For example,    It's a great Far Cry installment. For example, the old "skill trees" have been removed and are now fully unlocked by default. No more "can't chain takedown" early game. Only thing that remains grindy is unlocking the supremos (backpacks / ultimates / whatever you wanna call them) and modifying your weapons, but generally speaking it's very forgiving.

    Tl;dr: Decent game, huge world, great characters, sometimes a bit rough, but all in all justified price tag.    … Expand

    15 months after release this game really surprised me. It's a good game, nowhere near the hateful user score here. Very nice graphics, very nice soundtrack, very good gunplay. I don't mind the bad AI or the slight repetitiveness. I even found the story quite fitting and not as cringe as expected, or as bad as in FH5. However, I would have liked to be able to upgrade and customize my gear15 months after release this game really surprised me. It's a good game, nowhere near the hateful user score here. Very nice graphics, very nice soundtrack, very good gunplay. I don't mind the bad AI or the slight repetitiveness. I even found the story quite fitting and not as cringe as expected, or as bad as in FH5. However, I would have liked to be able to upgrade and customize my gear even further, including the vehicles.… Expand

    Hra na xboxu běží na stálých 120Fps a za celou dobu jsem narazil na jen asi 4 bugy. Jako v každé Far cry hře je prostředí udivující, pralesy plné zvířat a vysokých rostlin, nádherné pláže na, kterých jde slyšet zpěv ptáků.. Záporák je taky povedený, má z něho jít strach a respect což z něj jde. Obrovský arsenál zbraní, velký výběr dopravních prostředků, trochu mi, ale vadila délka příběhuHra na xboxu běží na stálých 120Fps a za celou dobu jsem narazil na jen asi 4 bugy.     Best Far Cry game for me i played in last years . FC5 for me was a joke atrocious bad story and the map was boring bland.
    But this one is very fun the map is huge and looks great full of detail and side activities .

    Loving the game anyway best far cry game from FC3 think its better then FC3 overall anyway at least more complete then that one more game new game mechanics and things to do.
    The characthers are pretty decent and fun overall.

    Graphics - Far Cry 6, the newest in the Far Cry series, is absolutely amazing! Graphically, FC6 can really push your hardware to the limits, while still being flexible enough to run at a good clip. Even on it's highest settings, I still got basically 60fps, but I prefer 1440p, which makes it run silky smooth. Gameplay - If you've played    Far Cry 6, is as solid a game there is. (PC)

    Gameplay - If you've played FC3 and above, you know exactly what to expect here. Instead of booting up and adding new things to your repertoire, this is more like coming home, after some time away. Depending on what you're looking for, this can be good or bad. A few different weapons and moves, but we pretty much stick to the formula or standard that was set before it. Personally, I have zero problem with that. It made it so easy to install and get right in to it.

    Sound - With the new area you will be playing in, there's tons of mountains, water, ocean, rivers and so on, not the same as FC5 and it's amazing mountain peaks, but more like tropical mountains and so on. Got some real FC3 vibes. But you can hear every animal, footstep, people talking and so on and hear it crystal clear. The music is good as well. 2 things I really enjoy about the audio. 1 - Whether you play as the male or female, they have a voice now. One that fits the character perfectly. 2 - This one surprised me. While driving, a song came on over the radio and my character began to sing along with it. I know it means nothing for gameplay, but it seemed to immerse me a little more in the world.

    If you're a fan of the FC series, you will find tons of stuff here to love but, you may find things not changed up enough from the last couple entries. There's not a lot of new mechanics, which I personally have no problem with, but others, who expect a game with a series such as FC, they will be let down by the lack of innovation. Also, having an animal partner, following you around and helping out, is nothing new, FC5 had the same mechanic. But, it's more refined this time around and they seem to be much smarter and a lot more useful.

    Story - This, to me, is the best FC story since Vaas in Far Cry 3. 3 really being the game that won me over to the series, had an amazing story and Vaas was the biggest reason why. Far Cry 6, to me anyway, out does itself story wise and now has my favorite story of all, knocking 3 down a notch to the number 2 position. It didn't take long for me to lose myself in the world, in the characters, anticipating what may happen just around the corner. As a person who has read more comics and more books than your average Joe, 6 sucked me in, just like a good book you can't put down. I would play longer, even when I should go to bed because I didn't want to sleep, until the part of the story I was currently in, either ended, or switched gears a bit.

    I wanted to give this a 10 but, I went with a 9 because the lack of real innovation in the gameplay. It was as if, your character from Far Cry 5, moved to tropical islands and forests, to continue with his journey. The settings were different, the graphics even better, but it was most like I had been treated to a really well made DLC, instead of a whole new game.

    I recommend everyone giving it a shot. Whether you're a FC fan, or fan of FPS games in general. There's lots to love, lots to do and it's all in a beautiful world. The story alone can capture your mind or imagination and encourage you to keep moving, finding out more as you go. Give this one a try, you wont regret it.

    Far Cry 6 is a successful sequel to the game series. The open world is very good. The arsenal of equipment and weapons is enormous. The stakes are numerous and varied. Overall, the game has become much more complex than its predecessors. Bugs and crashes are rare.

    While not the best Far Cry of the series, I got into it expecting more of the same, and I got it. There was never the feeling that something massive would be different, as one can assume by the previous iterations. As such, I had immense fun playing this game, some very funny moments, performance was great, some crashes here and there but nothing major.

    One of the most immersive Games I ever played. Again a touch better then the previous one. Super also the great free crossovers (Danny Trejo, Rambo, Stranger Things) and even the 3 DLCs (play the villain of Far Cry 3+4+5). GREAT GAME!

    Far cry 6, I'm a fan of this genre and I like the game, so for me it's a real pleasure to play a game like Far Cry 6. All praise for the game and I would definitely recommend it!

    While not a masterpiece, its certainly far cry and its certainly fun, the massive expanse leaves untoid hours of glory especially with a friend. Ive enjoyed the story, the world and certainly the fun new toys. Worth playing especially now with a AAA drought, don't expect the greatest but just have fun.

    Far Cry 6 is the biggest, most unique, creative, and content-packed Far Cry yet. Ubisoft has found the perfect mix between a fast paced shooter and an RPG compared to their little experiment in Far Cry New Dawn.

    Unfortunately, being the villain-focused franchise; the villain has about zero exposure in the gameplay, making Giancarlo Esposito's dictator more of a novelty character.

    Maybe there are better sequels, but this doesn't mean that this is bad, at all. I also have no idea what "propaganda" these people are referring to. Maybe they lived too much in games instead of in the real world, so they now confuse the two. Like all the Far Cry games,    I don't know what is with all these naysayers. You cannot compare Far Cry 6 to Far Cry 3, from gameplay POV FC6 had given much more gameplay, it is just not the same emotion you got when you first launched FC3. This is understandable, gamin industry had seen a lot of revolutions, we are just fed up for now. What for the game, it is indeed funny and interesting to spectate.This is a good game that gave me around 40-50 hours of fun. People that have issues with the transgender character are too focused in their own insecurities to enjoy the simple things in life. It's not a masterpiece, it's just a fun game you can spend some fun hours with. The narrative isWhile not a masterpiece of innovation - it's a game I just had fun time with - shooting some baddies, the latin vibe and music, were enough to have a good time.     Cmon..!!! Haters Ubisoft just give the Worst score.... but absolutly not that bad...the game is fun.. Weapon Customisation is great, Graphics is great and beautiful,.... and more great is this game its well Optimization... my old Laptop can run it on 40fps on high (gtx 1050ti)

She is MUCH BETTER than the male protagonist. The emotion, the acting... is all better. It's obvious we are meant to play as Dani, but offered both genders to create more variety, and a choice. Go with Dani. I had a much better experience with her. Secondly. If all you do is go from A to B in a Far Cry game without taking the time to pole around, explore, and assess the situation... you'll miss things like the little critters who skittered up to me while I was crouched in a bush stalking a sniper in a tower. I was able to feed them, and we had a little moment where it felt like I was really there... it was so immersive... I almost cried I was so amazed by such a tiny itty bitty detail... and I feel like a lot of people must be missing the finer details. Please... if you are reading this review, stop and pause, and see the forest for the trees. This Far Cry has all the best things from all the previous Far Cry games... with the added bonus of running like butter on newer high end rigs, and having a much more living, vibrant atmosphere that previous games. The graphics and the environment are literally ALIVE. It's astounding. This game is an achievement. Ignore the negativity and review bombing. If you've ever played and loved Far Cry... of course... OF COURSE you will love this one too.… Expand

    A lot of elements from Far Cry 5 were brought into this game. Nice to see a crafting system introduced in the game though with weapons - gives a purpose to deeply look through certain enemy areas. Enemy battles don't seem "authentic," take bullets like water soaks into a sponge.

    Initially i had so much technical issues with my game but it was due to going to Windows 11 and forgetting to get all the drivers, get new driver for motherboard etc after quick upgrade to Windows 11. So my performance was horrendous almost unplayble on expensive hardware.

    After some rethinking i tried tweaking settings some hours and drivers now its completly a good experience. So    Initially i had so much technical issues with my game but it was due to going to Windows 11 and forgetting to get all the drivers, get new driver for motherboard etc after quick upgrade to Windows 11. So my performance was horrendous almost unplayble on expensive hardware.

    After some rethinking i tried tweaking settings some hours and drivers now its completly a good experience. So enjoying the game itself after initial technical issues fidning it a nice game.    … Expand

    The game is great, there is a lot of thing to do, gameplay is simple and the same as the other games. Nothing new about it, beside the story (obviously). I didn't finish the game yet but at the moment the story has nothing awesome about it. The game is beautiful, the graphics of the world are awesome, but the characters graphic are kinda strange. It takes what is great about thé Far Cry series : a gigantic open-world, lots of ways to travel (helicopters, planes, boats, cars, horses) and a gorgeous landscape. It removed the bothering skills tree to replace it with equipment related perks. The cutscenes are finally nice to watch ! And, what I consider to be a revolution that completely changed thé game in thé best way possible : your character finally has a voice and a personality. Which allows thé cutscenes to reach a level that don’t have anything to envy the GTA franchise. The game is sometimes funny, sometimes sad but every time good to pay interest to. I would recommend 100% to anyone.… Expand

    I play the game in full coop Aswell as 5 so my review is based upon having a partner to play the full game with.     bardzo fajna gra. Świetny antagonista, w większości dobrze napisane postacie. grafika jest naprawdę ładna ale dupy nie urywa, bardzo podoba mi się użyta paleta barw. gra ma swoje problemy zdarzyło mi napotkać pewne glicze graficzne, albo z fizyką ale nie jakieś duże. grałem na geforce now i nie

    I played the coop mode with my friend and it was fun.
    The story was nice. The vanishing event was fun also.
    The game was free for a while and it was also discounted. The multiplayer in FarCry 5 was so much funny and a little disappointed about coop, problem is the game only allow 2 players in coop but hope in far cry 7 they give us a good game.

    The game is buggy, like VERY buggy, cars do not react properly, amigos don't do what they are supposed to, there is no human companions, regrettably, which was one of the best features from FC5, and there is a lot of small breaking bugs, like trying to jump into a window and tending up jumping on the roof, like some "Platforming" that never works(When you are searching for treasures) and some glitches like, for example, I got stuck to guns several times, I got on a Heavyu Machine Gun, got hit, and health was low, got the "heal" prompt, and got the animation, but the animations of healing and leaving the gun got stuck at the same time and I died, and this was a constant issue, several other similar bugs, especially with cornering and such

    Besides that, the game is good, some people don't like it because it tries to copy the situation in Cuba, ofc, but yeah, the story is acceptable, the characters are likable, there are a lot of laughs, and it is entertaining

    There is a bit too much repetition, yes, but that is the soul of every open world game, if people don't like it there are a lot of linear games they can check up

    One of the things I do agree with some people is that they had to do their woke quota, they had to add LGBT and Feminazism to the game, the feminazi storyline was good, so no complaint there, but the LGBT one was pointless, and only added to fill the quota, the game could've done without the rappers, only with the DJ, and it would have not missed anything

    One thing I highly disliked is the illusion of decision, there are several points when you can take a decision that you think might have different outcomes and it is not the case, this game would've been 100 times better if it had a morality system and that affected the outcome of the game

    The special operations are pointless after you do them for the 1st time, they get extremely boring after that, as they are not procedurally generated or sandbox, so you know where to find the stuff and you just dart through it, but the rewards are not even worth it after the 1st time

    All in all, if you take into consideration that this is by no means a Far Cry game even though it has the name, then you will like the game

    Oh, and I wish we got to kill f'n juan, but no, he f'n survives)

    Gerrell war dieses hier kein Far Cry nach dem eigentlichen Konzept. Ich finde es nicht schlecht, dass es diesmal eine Revolution anstatt ein Inselbösewicht war, der dich auf der Insel festhält und du um´s Überleben kämpfen musst. Hat auch viel Spaß gemacht, wie gesagt, bisher bestes Gameplay eines Far Cry´s, aber das lässt sich mit Borderlands 3 vergleichen, das Gameplay war super, aber alles andere war im Vorgänger viel besser.

    Es gab keine Situation, außer ganz ganz at the very end wo die ♥♥♥♥♥ mal so richtig am dampfen war. Die riesen Map hatte quasi drei Bereiche und dort hast du einen General von Mr Fring gejagt und das einfach drei Mal, hast Basen und Kontrollpunkte eingenommen und die Hauptmissionen gemacht, am Ende dringste in die Festung oä. vom General ein und killst den, total langweiliger und monotoner Ablauf.

    In den anderen Far Cry´s war dir der Bösewicht immer so dermaßen überlegen und 5 Schritte voraus und man war in extrem vielen Situationen in denen man um´s Überleben gekämpft hat oder geflohen ist, als gäbe es kein Morgen. Gerade Far Cry 5 hat mit den Familienmitgliedern nochmal einen drauf gesetzt, die hatten alle ein eigenes Thema mit dem Verwirrungsnebel und dem Tiere abrichten oder so (ist lange her), das hat extrem Spaß gemacht und war super spannend. In Far Cry 6 lief immer alles gleich ab...

    Zudem fehlte der Far Cry Humor, die total verrückten mit den Drugtrips oder der Sprengstoffverrückte, ach es gab jedes Mal so viele, das war immer zum todlachen, einfach total crazy und hier wurde es vielleicht drei mal versucht und war eher awkward, wie ein Witz, über den niemand lacht oder auf alte Dadjokes angelehnt.

    Dann war der Ausgang der Geschichte auch noch ziemlich daneben, was sollte der Schuss im Haus auf der Insel? Der Ausgang war doch klar, Leute die in so einem Krieg sind haben mehr eher mehr als 20 Gehirnzellen und dann steht am am Ende total unbelohnt da, möchte ne freie Map und nicht erledigte Quest machen und ein Gebiet ist wieder vom Feind eingenommen und du kannst es innerhalb einer Woche nochmal säubern, per Map zurücksetzen - ok, aber automatisch? Man möchte vielleicht noch einige Nebenmissionen abschließen ohne durch Feind besetzte Gebiete zu fahren, die man vorher extra gesäubert hatte...

    Ich hatte trotzdem sehr viel Spaß und finde das Spiel gut, aber es darf nächstes Mal doch gerne wieder Storylastiger und vor allem ausgeklügelter sein, das bedeutet: gebt den Gegnercharakteren wieder mehr eigene Persönlichkeiten und lässt sie mit uns interagieren in Form von Gameplay und Spannung, anstatt mit bloßem Audio durch Anrufe und nur dem Angekommen, Eindringen, Eliminieren.    … Expand

    Game is reasonably good. I don't know why the low scores. All i can say is I bought it when it was released but initially didn't like it much. Only started playing it this December and once you give it some time, it opens up pretty nicely.

    But the good is pretty good: I love the story and the characters, Giancarlo is great, even if underused. The humor is fantastic, I laughed out loud several times (Chicharron! ROFL). The game looks great and the weapons are a blast to use. The choppers and tanks are great fun. The references to Cuba, Castro, the Soviets, the old cars and the story of the old revolutionaries were great for me. Autoloot is great as this was tedious in games past. I’m pretty close to the end, I think so, I can’t reviews the ending, but I am looking forward to playing more and that’s a very good sign. Thanks for reading.    … Expand

    Look, I'm gonna be honest. It's a great looking great. It didn't crash, the voice acting was great, the motion capture was top notch, the voice scripts were good, the graphics were fantastic, the gameplay was smooth, and the music was great. That said, as great as this game is, there are two very big problems with the game that keep it from being a great AAA game to just an okay AAALook, I'm gonna be honest. It's a great looking great. It didn't crash, the voice acting was great, the motion capture was top notch, the voice scripts were good, the graphics were fantastic, the gameplay was smooth, and the music was great. That said, as great as this game is, there are two very big problems with the game that keep it from being a great AAA game to just an okay AAA game. Specifically, the mechanics and the AI. The AI on the enemies is lackluster - the combat is just WAY too easy. Also, mechanically the game is the exact same game as Far Cry 3, Far Cry 4, and Far Cry 5. I know that you "shouldn't break what isn't broken" but there's been enough time since Far Cry 3 that you expect a little bit more innovation at least. I mean, it's been 9 years since then.     I personally like the customization, the game has transmog for the armor sets and equipment sets, so you can mix and match aspects of your character's appearance, at times you can also get some pretty cool things for your weapons, like add explosive ammo, and change how the weapon looks and controls. Silencers actually work this time, and there's even different sets that you can get for them, so it's this really cool way to add progression and customization.

    The game is really bloated though, this is a huge issue, perhaps the biggest one of them all, the game is divided in subsects and you have to complete every mission in each of these segments in order to finish the game, it's a pain to say the least, after a while it just becomes really tiresome to complete missions that essentially have you doing the same things.

    But Far Cry 6 overall is a fine game for what it is, the formula has worn thin for a while, and there are way better games in the franchise at this point that you should play before going to this one, but if you're curious, this is a game that has its fun elements.

    You even get a backpack that can provide you with some cool abilities: shoot rockets out of it, trigger an emp that can make chopper literally land, only for you to hijack them, etc.

    a rich an true open world like the ones of the witcher 3, elder scrolls and others, usually offers you to have impact. you are the hero (or even a villain) and the world lets you know that. what you do, changes things - even outside the storyline the developers want you to live through. whereas the setting of farcry 6 suggests a lot of potential full of grayscales, it remains superficial instead, tries to shock but doesn´t reflect. you are the good one. the other ones are bad. shoot them. don´t ask.

    the story itself is decent, carried by a set of characters that is an interesting mixture of memorable and „meh“. most of them are based on clichees and archetypes we know from other media as film, some of them offer some depth, most of them don´t. nonetheless the cast and its stories remains interesting enough to go on.

    the shooter part is great, customization and crafting is nice (but seems completely unnecessary after you find your first unique weapon, a pistol that you will most propably use until the end screen). side activities are fun (but the meaning of most of them is simply to unlock a new spot to fast travel to) and the enemies are some of the dumbest i have ever seen. that being said, the game is far too easy and doesn´t offer any difficulty settings above the casual player.

    i still find reasons to like the game though. the world looks fantastic and at some points creates so much atmosphere you could cut it with a knife. that starts with above average graphics, good character models, farsight, and the mood the lighting creates. the interactions with the world are as usual great and feel great - you are not just a camera floating and shooting above the surface, but your movements feel real. voice acting is awesome (and i usually prefer a talking hero to a silent person, which feels … strange?) and some of the companions (the dog on wheels!) are just as cute as they are creative. the mission design - especially the main missions are awesome and extremely varied - much in contrast to the open world that seems livelier than it is.

    i still give it a 7 as it makes more things right than it does wrong. if you can overlook the flaws i mentioned (and the other ones .. there is more) and want to have fun shooting (and some more), then this game is for you. if you expect for a war crime saga that provoques some though - like spec ops: the line - look somewhere else.    … Expand

    I haven't played Farcry since Farcry 3, and unfortunately not much has changed since my last Farcry experience. The "game" is honestly very fun, but it feels more like a sandbox than a game. Ubisoft really needs to reinvent this franchise.     - The game is WAY too easy. There's really zero reason to ever sneak. I go into every fort blasting and I have died on a couple of times throughout my entire gameplay experience. Helicopters and tanks should feel like a challenge rather than just another enemy variation.

    - Enemy variation is extremely lacking. There's no reason to run soft rounds, just use armor piercing and aim for the head.

    - Enemy reaction time is way too slow. You can kill 5 people standing next to each other with a silenced weapon before one will even shoot at you

    - Break the cookie cutter mold on fort and other objectives. Each should feel like a unique experience. "Less is more."

    - No real leveling system or ways to customize your character outside of guns and "Supremos."

    - Consider adding "new age" leveling mechanics such as leveling rifle skill by using rifles. This should apply to all vehicles and other skillsets as well. The character should not be good at everything right off the bat because he did 4 years of army boot camp.

    Far Cry 6 reminding me a lot of Just cause 3, in that while youre in this massive world, everything felt pretty cookie cutter generic.. and unlike just cause 3 the weapons weren’t crazy enough to keep fully entertained and there weren’t great story pieces pulling me through… just the same stuff over and over again, get to the spot on the map, deal with checkpoint along the way, take them over for future fast travl points, get back to the mission, kill all the people there.. thankfully youll unlock pets such as a crocodile or puppy to help along the way to attack and distract, but kill all the nemies, or find a key card so you can enter a building to throw a switch, or kill al the enemies and hack a computer which is just you guarding It while a percentage meter fills, over and over and over.. again no great story piece or story telling within the actual campaign except maybe couple of times.. really exposing the games bloat, I felt like I was doing side missions through most of the campaign.. I know box numbers are imorptant to people spending 60 to 70 dollars on a game, I get that.. but I would prefer and epic 12 hours over a mediocre repetitive 20.. I would even be fine having to level up to unlock those story missions and feel an urge to liberate the island and find weapons, if the grind didn’t feel obnoxious and get in the way of my play… maybe I have to capture a certain amount of enemy bases… if that means I get some story missions with some effort rather than feel like an algorithm developed the game.. Ill take it…
    Overall Far Cry 6 had its moments that made me laugh or moments of me actually having fun, but for the most part I felt lke I was just going through the motions of a soulless shooter, chasing credits rather than chasing the next epic event around the next corner..
    Far Cry 6 is a good shooter, it is brimming with things to do and weapons to find, you can even play with friends… but wow does this game do nothing memorable.

    Performance is pretty bad considering FC 5 was very good.

    If you compare it to FC5, it's honestly a downgrade in terms of story and immersion.
    This Far Cry went with a more "Just Cause" type gameplay which kinda killed it for me.

    Disappointed describes the game at best.

    If you liked prior FC games this one is more of the same but with a bigger world and options of toys. Story was cool, love the character Dani and the gangster Juan madlad. El Tigre is my dude and Chicharone is Chicharone. I love the liberdad life, message, and with the global climate it seems very appropriate and well done. World is big and graphics are beautiful. Good variety of guns and combos. Was super easy to get way overleveled though and if you play sneaky one difficulty makes the game super easy if you're a decent shot. No hard mode so you have to make your own fun playing suboptimally. Finally, stop with all the woke **** I would have did an 8 or 9 if not for that. I don't care that someone was bi, trans, or a crossdresser. If you were being ruled by an evil authoritarian madman I doubt your sexuality would be a big part of your life. All that crap feels very unnecessary and crammed in to avoid any backlash for feelings from a vocal minority. Get woke go broke is the theme and had I known about the lame stuff going into it I wouldnt have subb'd to Ubi+ to try.… Expand

    A bit grindy, and I do not like how enemies spawn randomly near you, making it impossible to play tactically. The weapons also are tuned for action, not stealth of tectical gameplay. A sniper rifle that doesnt kill people with a clean shot to the head? I also got many crashes while playing. But in general, it is what any Far Cry fan would expect and I enjoyed it so far.

    To begin, I just want to say that I have played FarCry 3, 4 and 5 with my personal favourite being 3, these games are most definitely fun however I was going to delay myself in playing this one until next year purely because I feel most of these games are the same type of thing and I just didn't want to jump back in right away, but after seeing a favourite streamer of mine play the game, ITo begin, I just want to say that I have played FarCry 3, 4 and 5 with my personal favourite being 3, these games are most definitely fun however I was going to delay myself in playing this one until next year purely because I feel most of these games are the same type of thing and I just didn't want to jump back in right away, but after seeing a favourite streamer of mine play the game, I bit the bullet and got the game.

    Gameplay - Well if you have played FarCry 3, 4 or 5, then you will feel right at home here. Nothing has changed in the mechanics of the combat really, you get guns, upgrade the guns and shoot enemies. It is most definitely a fun time but if you have played all the entries of the series that I have, then you might be feeling a little burned out from it after a certain time playing this one. I adopted a stealth approach in this game and killed mostly with a suppressed sniper rifle, I found going all out combat made the game much more difficult so did my best to avoid it.

    Differences - This game is mostly the same as the others. The new additions are backpacks called Supremos that have certain effects like missile launches or health packs, plus Resolver weapons which are quirky guns you can use, I honestly didn't care for this feature too much. There are also Amigos which are pets who can travel alongside you and fight with you, but again, didn't care much for it.

    Visuals - This is a big win for me, I played on a fairly high end PC and felt the game looked absolutely gorgeous at times, particularly the landscapes which is when FarCry looks its best. Take a helicopter up into the sky and just look around, your jaw will drop, it is a stunning game. Everything on the ground looks good too.

    Crashing - I wanted to follow with this as I mentioned having a high end PC but I did experience regular crashes, probably every few hours I would play, I would experience at least one crash and as frustrating as it was, it didn't completely sour my experience of the game. I am not sure how the consoles differ but it is something to just look out for if you are playing on PC.

    Story - The story is basically the exact same thing, you will be doing everything that you were doing in the last games, which is try to free sections of land from a 2nd in command-type leader and taking them out, before eventually going up against the big baddie. In this case it is Anton Castillo who is played by the amazing Giancarlo Esposito, he steals the show whenever he is on screen and I immediately found myself becoming super focused whenever he would appear. I don't think its fair to compare him to other villains of FarCry as he is great in his own way. A big surprise is the main character - Dani, I played as the female version and she was fantastic, she has a great voice actor, is a bit cheeky and a badass, she was probably one of my favourite things from this experience, even just little things like her singing along to the radio music in the car was enough to win me over, very cute. I do feel we get a lot of time with other characters and not nearly as much time with Castillo, they are fine but nothing really to go crazy about, even the other main characters like Juan and Clara weren't all that interesting to me.

    Side Quests - There are a lot of these. You will be doing outposts, artillery takedowns, ambushes and a variety of other things and I did all of these, it will take you a lot of time and I don't recommend doing this if you have played previous games unless you really want to, because I got burned out rather easily after a while because it is mostly the same in this game, and it is the same for all the previous games too. As for other side quests, like side stories, there are those as well and some are really fun and interesting, like a mission where you have to escape from a massive amount of juiced up roosters for example, however in the later end of the game the side quests felt very lazy, you get a few photos on your phone with no marker and you just got to go find a multitude of these particular things to complete it, it becomes very frequent on the third island and wasn't overly fond of it at all. There are also treasure hunts which were my favourite type of side quests, felt like Indiana Jones hunting through caves while finding lore along the way, good stuff.

    Collectibles - There is a lot of stuff to collect, there are hundreds of chests to find that give guns and crafting items, there are roosters to obtain for cock fighting (didn't really care for that), plenty of sheets of paper containing lore etc. It will take you quite a long time to get everything and I didn't bother with the chests to be honest, it just wasn't worth the effort.

    Final Rating - It is a fun game but my biggest complaint is that it just feels more like the same thing and I am a little over the formula. After 52 hours of game time, I am very much ready to move onto something else.    … Expand

    I had little to no game breaking or otherwise immersion breaking bugs. There is certainly still some performance being left behind due to poor optimization, and if they don't fix it, that will be frustrating. AAA games should be well optimized on release.

    The main thing I wanted to write this review to say: this game is, in fact, exactly what the haters claim it is not, which is to say a very thoughtful development of the core idea of the franchise. Yara as a locale works great to develop intrigue, and the pseudo-Cuban history is compelling and interesting. Playing as female Dani, I'm very impressed with the voice actor, and I have rarely heard another character talk and be taken out of the moment. Gameplay wise, the shooting is still very good, the vehicles are fun, if a bit silly, and the other mechanics around base building and item collection are novel, if not always super compelling. Many of the foundational aspects of the series have been remodelled here, and pretty much across the board in interesting and fun ways. The soundtrack is also the best I can remember for this series.

    I will also note a strong majority of the low scores came out incredibly quickly after the game launched and seem to have had little to no actual experience with the game, or were disappointed about a lack of localization. I don't know about you, dear reader, but that doesn't really seem like a 3.8 worthy review situation to me.

    TL,DR; its good. Its probably the best refinement of the formula to-date. Everything that makes these games good/fun is here and boosted. If you're worn out on FC games, then like, don't play FC games.    … Expand

    Mas o jogo é ruim por causa disso? Absolutamente não. Tanto o mix de culturas latinas, ambientação maravilhosa e a melhor trilha sonora da franquia toda dão pitadas de novidade ao game.

    Dessa vez o protagonista tem uma personalidade mais marcante, mas achei o vilão menos inspirado que os anteriores. Os Far Cry sempre foram algo meio alucinado e fora da curva com relação ao antagonista, mas no 6 senti que ele é o mais "normal" que eu já vi nos últimos jogos.

    E a história é interessante, e até arranha a superfície do que é ser um revolucionário, lutar contra um regime autoritário, mas não dá tempo de se engajar nas motivações dos personagens.

    Porém, acho que nem deveríamos levar muito a sério a história já que esse título não é para ser um RPG, onde vc vai ter N ramificações da história, escolhas morais, etc.
    No final vc sente que faltou uns 30% a mais de campanha pra evoluir tanto o Antón como o filho dele. Mas novamente, não é um RPG, é pra ser tiro porrada e bomba sem pensar demais.

    O maior defeito desse game é isso: fica reciclando mecânicas no lugar de propor algo realmente diferente e tornar a narrativa mais complexa e ramificada, com mais personagens e mais missões únicas.

    Mas se vc só quer um FPS competente, lutar com galos enquanto escuta músicas maravilhosas, vai fundo.    … Expand

    Я просто в ахуе... Физика всего что движется это просто пиздец. Я не знаю как они смогли сломать автопилот транспорта который всегда хорошо работал в прошлых частях. Оружие как оружие, кроме этих пушек и модификаций из говна они мне не зашли.

    Я считаю что она слишком огромна и мало точек быстрого перемещения ибо пользоваться этим транспортом это пиздец.

    Good game overall. Good quality weapons, animations, graphics. Yes not without the usual Ubisoft garbage but it's good to kill the time. Understand the hate but I think giving it a 3 is a bit too hateful. This game is what it essentially was from the start, and is continuing the franchise in the intended way.

    If you like the other Far Cry games then it is much of the same big dumb fun. I personally enjoyed that aspect for a while but it does become a bit repetitive later in the game. For me it was the story that dragged it down a lot, was definitely the first game in the series I just didn't care for the story and some cutscenes I found myself skipping because they were too cringe to bare.     Far Cry finally got rid of the most annoying bits (like the infamous towers), but that’s pretty much the extent of the series’ progress. Far Cry 6 doesn’t improve on the core concept in any way. Still, all the expected mechanics work as advertised and keep the game above the line.

    Far Cry 6 is a work that strives for progress while maintaining stability. There are ancestral gameplays of the series that have not been outdated, and some system optimizations and improvements that keep pace with the times. In general, it is still a familiar formula and a familiar taste.

    Upon reaching the end of this review, I’ve come away with a revelation. Yes, Far Cry 6 is the accumulated chemical detritus from years of similar lab experiments, layered and stratified, compounded with time and pressure. But it isn’t a catalyst. I am. I played Far Cry 6 to completion: I pressed buttons to shoot guns and progress the plot; I killed an inordinate number of animals to buy upgrades; I equipped new pairs of pants to make myself stealthier. And at the end of it all, I felt nothing. I was unchanged by the experience.
