    Same engine, same physics, inferior to previous title graphics. Less content than in previous title. The only character customization is in its gear. Gear is tightly coupled with in-game store.
    Verdict: Boring, lifeless and outdated.

    I palyed it as a fc3 remake with some new ideas in it, not so much inovations there, that's a shame, but still a fun game even it's not a great game.

    Okey so it's not a rly big step from far cry 5 - but the game itself is awesome. The atmosphere is epic just like the villain (Giancarlo Esposito always stealin the scene from breaking bad to now). There are some stupid lmbtq charathers but still, i fkin love this game.

    Guns are fun, stories are fun, exploration is fun it's 7-8 from 10. But becuz' of the idiotic PizzaGustos' reviewbomb    Okey so it's not a rly big step from far cry 5 - but the game itself is awesome.     A huge map and all in clones of identical cars, identical nfs bot characters, constantly identical loot boxes, no variety. YUBISOFT! You just make clones and the fact that the game will get bored by the third hour of the game. Besides, this stupid plot is just annoying, apparently yubisoft has no mind for the best. The third person cut scenes take away from what farcry was i played through and beat the hole game and didn't unlock or even get close enough cash to buy a good weapon i wanted. The game was constantly freezing and crashing i was playing on Xbox one s and the animal allies pretty much do nothing but get in the way i was very mad about what one of my favorite games has turned into i did like how you can pic your character tho but i completely regret buying this game and im a little disappointed that i waited for a new farcry just to get this.the story was good tho but a little short also… Expand

    On with the review.. I loved Far Cry 1, not so much 2, loved 3, 4th and found 5th to be decent and think this falls to decent.     On with the review.. I loved Far Cry 1, not so much 2, loved 3, 4th and found 5th to be decent and think this falls to decent. The villain is awesome but not evil enough, or not in a way where we can hate him or like him enough, we see way too little of him.

    They completely removed the crafting system which was a pretty strong addition to the other games in my opinion by getting more loot space, extra weapon slots, they even removed talent points which is a very odd choice. Finding where animal types were on the map and going there hunting them correctly and crafting what is essential as loot space, bigger wallet etc felt very satisfying.

    The starting was quite dull and chaotic at the island, think they could have done a much better job at introducing characters, combat and scenery-wise.

    The combat in the game is close to nonexistant on normal difficulty, buy/get a strong one shot rifle, slap on a silencer and you can take out a whole base/checkpoint in 10 seconds without anyone knowing what happened, kind of silly. Which makes me think they should have some leaders who are very superior like in The Division where you actually have to fight and use your tools.

    The map is pretty big, I though it was much larger at first but it feels about the same as the 5th, perhaps 20% larger, though much of it is ocean. There is a sht ton of collectibles all over which I am spending a lot of time on just to delay the story going to an end.

    The AI is perhaps more stupid than ever, if you ride/drive 10 meters next to them they start screaming and running although you are driving perfectly normal, and if you drive on the correct side of the road and move the steeringwheel ever so slightly towards them (before straighting up) they choose to drive to the other side of the road and collide, like every time.

    A thought I have is about the dialect, english mixed with what I assume is spanish dialect, at times is can become obnoxious, I think this was perhaps a problem in the 4th too, got a bad memory so could be wrong, but I wonder if it would just be better at the native language of the given place with english subs or just standard english if anything, I think it might just be some bad written lines or voiceacting making me feel that way because sometimes it works great too.

    The charcters are, some decent, some really bad ones, the main characters seem ok but most of the ones you meet in the 3 different "counties" are kinda boring. I think with very interesting cinematics and backstories in the 3-4-5 you got to know people and it was interesting characters while in the 6th they are just there, not much to it. Also way too much of a comedy tone to it, it's like in the middle of a war and people are cheering, joking around, swearing at everything, not a single one shed a tear, experienced trauma or something remotely interesting.

    If you know Far Cry this is just what to expect, I just hoped they would outdo themselves and the graphics are sometimes really impressive by the ocean, and sometimes you wonder if you are in Far Cry 2 back in the early 2000s on a 3070 gpu at ultra, muddy/unclear textures. Maybe the graphics engine got to go?

    I have now nearly done all side missions and collectibles so only the some of the main story left and I'm left with an empty feeling of everything just being a chore. I think the game is worth playing but this could easily have been Far Cry 4 instead of Far Cry 6 and thats worrysome in 2021. I think I would give it 6/6.5/10 and in comparison I think I would give the 3rd game 7/10, the 4th 7.5/10 and the 5th 6.5/10.

    I really really hope they choose a very interesting time or location next time and maybe many more cinematics like in the 4th and 5th which is what they are best at and have a gripping story where we run into the villain many times and maybe introduce choices again?    … Expand

It's a copy paste with some features even removed and some simplified to appear more to casuals. Genering story, that is not interesting in any way while also removing some fun features such as skill tree (replaced by stats from items, wtf were you thinking Ubisoft) and lack ofIf you don't like Far Cry, don't buy this.     Really loving the Farcry and AC series, but the latest FC installments is just a copy and paste, i really hope they get more inspiration with the next AC and FC game. It is not a bad game, but when you play the game its like you all ready played it, just a new world with story .

    I bought this game last week, was excited. Downloaded it and tried to run it. Perpetual black screen.
    There's not been an update to fix it, still can't start the game, still waiting for a fix. What a **** of a release and no help from Ubisoft.

    Many of the game mechanics is just lazy and heavily scripted. Enemies respawning constantly and there are many areas in the game where it simply happens endlessly. You just turn your back and the whole scripted scenes like guards with prisoners respawn behind you immediately, on an isolated area. Super cheap.    It is basically a DLC for the farcry 5.     I liked the game. You can't say much about the graphics, it has become a little better compared to the 5th part. The gameplay is interesting for the first 10 hours, then it will be boring. The map is even too big, there are a lot of interesting places and Easter eggs.     this new entry is another farcry 3, with a somewhat good story and charismatic characters and a lot of content. there are a lot of good missions, and some that are repetitive. for me this is way better than farcry 5 and 4. and I think...     It's really upsetting to see a change from Farcry's original gameplay. This game plays more like an RPG such as Cyber punk. When I shoot an unarmoured person in the head I expect them to Die. This is a real big shame as I was interested in playing within a Faux Cuban setting. I've already cancelled my Uplay subscription as I won't be continuing with this any more .     This game is broken. Within 20 minutes of starting I lost all NPC dialogue audio. Glad I didn't pay for this and would not recommend buying unless Ubisoft fixes the game and Ubi Connect.

    I haven't played Farcry since Farcry 3, and unfortunately not much has changed since my last Farcry experience. The "game" is honestly very fun, but it feels more like a sandbox than a game. Ubisoft really needs to reinvent this franchise. It's odd to give a game a decent score, knowing that I would not pick up the next few version of the game if they did not change the core gameplayI haven't played Farcry since Farcry 3, and unfortunately not much has changed since my last Farcry experience. The "game" is honestly very fun, but it feels more like a sandbox than a game. Ubisoft really needs to reinvent this franchise. It's odd to give a game a decent score, knowing that I would not pick up the next few version of the game if they did not change the core gameplay experience.

    - The game is WAY too easy. There's really zero reason to ever sneak. I go into every fort blasting and I have died on a couple of times throughout my entire gameplay experience. Helicopters and tanks should feel like a challenge rather than just another enemy variation.

    - Enemy variation is extremely lacking. There's no reason to run soft rounds, just use armor piercing and aim for the head.

    - Enemy reaction time is way too slow. You can kill 5 people standing next to each other with a silenced weapon before one will even shoot at you

    - Break the cookie cutter mold on fort and other objectives. Each should feel like a unique experience. "Less is more."

    - No real leveling system or ways to customize your character outside of guns and "Supremos."

    - Consider adding "new age" leveling mechanics such as leveling rifle skill by using rifles. This should apply to all vehicles and other skillsets as well. The character should not be good at everything right off the bat because he did 4 years of army boot camp.

    I was an enormous fan of Far Cry 5, so I say this with some sadness; Far Cry 6 is just a less fun version of Just Cause. The story is a run of the mill, and it honestly just feels like a chore to play. Not compelling at all.

    PS5 version of the game has crashed 2 times so farand has the typical trade mark of Ubi Soft titles (Glitches etc). Graphically it is lacking for a next generation title, not what I was expecting. Avoid its just dissapointing.

    I had to force myself to even continue through the intro levels. I am beyond the age, where the majority of communication should consist of **** in various pronounciation - just gets on my nerves and makes me hate the character. The writing is just ridiculous, but not funny. Respawn rate is nearly instant and it seems enemies are always back, when you load the game again - absolute showstopper for me, they also dont run from somwhere, they just appear again, killing any immersion.     Very very disappointing, its the same15-20 hours that release every couple of years, more of the same mechanics and gameplay and surprisingly more problems.
    Not worth 60$ if you really want it wait for sale

    Сюжет тупой, людей забивают как скот. Как будто попал не в страну 21-ого века, а в игру в кальмара. Остров из социопатов, не удивительно, что тут ни у кого не прописана адекватная мотивация действий, всралось этот остров освобождать.
    Механика стрельбы мне понравилась, вождения более менее, мир чем то наполнен, некоторые миссии поиска сокровищ были очень интересными (Особенно с лодками).

    Worst Far Cry game ever. Bullet sponge enemies who will take multiple headshots to kill if you have the wrong "ammo type" equipped. Helicopters that are invincible, skills/perks tied to clothing. Enemies respawn 10 seconds after you clear a location. I had a sniper respawn in the EXACT same spot and tower literally like 20 seconds after I had just climbed it and killed him. Se persino Watch Dogs Legion aveva il parlato in italiano ed era un giochino secondario, per quale motivo avete eliminato l'italiano da una serie consolidata e con tanti fans come quella di Far Cry?

    Just another Carribean fight of some generic bad guy, with a group of revolutionaries that are about as unique as white bread. The bad guys are basically all snipers, I swear they don't miss and they are always behind cover 95% of the time. It's just boring and more of the same with nothing innovative. After 4 hours of trying to get involved I gave up.

    Good game but it manages to totally crash both my PC s . They are both i7 10th generation and i have an RTX 2060 on one and RTX 3070 on the other . Also it is outrageous that Ubisoft asks you to renounce your right the ask a refund for the game if you download it .

    A ridiculous choice in my opinion, one dictated maybe from a business point of view but at the same time cannot be justified to the italian paying public. Especially since they use various details ingame with italian roots and then disrespecting those with not even the acknowledgment of the average italian user/player for this game. Make at least an adjustment on the price for the italian market with a lower cost, but nothing... This is absurd, a shame and also totally embarassing from a company of such big caliber.
    For the other stuff I'm also of the same opinion with the majority I have to say...
    Regarding innovation... It looks like the same system/mechanics of all the Far Crys. Small/few changes here and there, graphic details maybe better (only because of the times, not in par with the level they should actually be, see the download of the HD Texture pack) characters boring, over-eccentric and not so funny anymore humor. If it was the first Far Cry game, it would be a pretty fun game, but they are just living from their past successes and propose again and again with different contexts/stories the stuff once again. Landscapes are not even that great, I was happy to see again an environment similar to the one for Far Cry 3 (my favourite game of the series), but I was disappointed also on that unfortunately. It is not satisfying for the shooting, bullets feeling is really bad and the AI level looks even more idiotic than in the past (how?). Fillers with too many time consuming side missions, a prerogative of Ubisoft games totally makes it worse, instead made for appreciating even more the game.
    Regarding the story instead, it's good, not that innovative, famous people involved, acting good, but nothing worth it for the price. There was the possibility to choose the protagonist at the beginning Male/female, now a must and that's a plus for the actual times. As long as it doesn't feel forced on the narrative like almost usually is unfortunately. Nothing else comes to mind right now, but yeah. There are some bugs, but nothing major. The review is anyway not positive. Not worth buying it at this price or any other price and that's a shame. I was hyped and expecting something good. I was rooting for it, but I have to be honest and this is my opinion.

    P.S. I know that everyone recognize the song for the "Burning" mission (ripetitive concept copied form FC3, also in a bad way, btw) as the one from the netflix show, but it is actually taken from the historically famous italian partizan song. An other reference from the Italian people, rewarded without the audio translated in their language though.    … Expand

Mi tocca constatare poi che l'audio in lingua inglese è fatto molto male con cadenza spagnoleggiante e risulta incomprensibile in più occasioni. Per quanto riguarda il gioco è ripetitivo, non intriga, è molto banale e i personaggiFar Cry 6 perde molto senza l'audio in italiano, sia come atmosfera sia nel seguire la storia principale, sia nell'afferrare l'umorismo dei personaggi di gioco.     This is really disaapointing considering it's a full priced game. Feels like a complete reskin of every game since FC3.

    - Guy on island
    - something goes wrong
    - he can't leave island
    - asks locals for help
    - they ask him to do things in return
    - they get caught up with local gangs and factions
    - dictator / tyrant ruining poor people etc

    I understand Far Cry games have a theme, but this series is feeling extremely repetitive. Its like the same exact story, same missions with a different theme and time period. Take out some type of drugs or crop growing in a field, take out outpost and listen to some dialogue along the way

You can oneshot every enemy with an headshot, but if you aim for the chest you need like 5 magazines per enemy. Even with an mounted 50 cal it takes forever to kill someone. The game is full of bugs.     Отличная игра. Лучшая из всей серии far cry. Есть проблема с вылетами, но она не такая существенная. Не понимаю почему ее хейят, а так даже сюжет хороший и не скучный

    Overall I rate the game negatively, I miss the Czech localization, I really don't understand this stupid move by Ubisoft! The graphics of the game, the story, the behaviour of the NPCs are very crappy. I recommend Ubisoft to take a break and not to create a series of repetitive games, for example Assasins Creed Origins was very good. As for the technical side I recommend Ubisoft to contact Naughty Dog studio to teach them how to make quality games.    … Expand

    there was no need to transfer the experience of FAR CRY NEW DAWN to FAR CRY 6, this is now not an action game, but an RPG

    Far Cry finally got rid of the most annoying bits (like the infamous towers), but that’s pretty much the extent of the series’ progress. Far Cry 6 doesn’t improve on the core concept in any way. Still, all the expected mechanics work as advertised and keep the game above the line.

    Far Cry 6 is a work that strives for progress while maintaining stability. There are ancestral gameplays of the series that have not been outdated, and some system optimizations and improvements that keep pace with the times. In general, it is still a familiar formula and a familiar taste.

    Upon reaching the end of this review, I’ve come away with a revelation. Yes, Far Cry 6 is the accumulated chemical detritus from years of similar lab experiments, layered and stratified, compounded with time and pressure. But it isn’t a catalyst. I am. I played Far Cry 6 to completion: I pressed buttons to shoot guns and progress the plot; I killed an inordinate number of animals to buy upgrades; I equipped new pairs of pants to make myself stealthier. And at the end of it all, I felt nothing. I was unchanged by the experience.
