    A bit grindy, and I do not like how enemies spawn randomly near you, making it impossible to play tactically. The weapons also are tuned for action, not stealth of tectical gameplay. A sniper rifle that doesnt kill people with a clean shot to the head? I also got many crashes while playing. But in general, it is what any Far Cry fan would expect and I enjoyed it so far.

    Far Cry 6 isn't really like a Far Cry game at all. I mean, it's like a Ubisoft game (huge map, tons of things to collect, bases to liberate), but in many ways it owes a huge debt to the Just Cause series, and in particular Just Cause 3 (the best of the series).
    Once the initial launch day instabilities were dealt with the game settled down into the usual type of thing, but the changes    Far Cry 6 isn't really like a Far Cry game at all. I mean, it's like a Ubisoft game (huge map, tons of things to collect, bases to liberate), but in many ways it owes a huge debt to the Just Cause series, and in particular Just Cause 3 (the best of the series).
    Once the initial launch day instabilities were dealt with the game settled down into the usual type of thing, but the changes were what stood out for me. The protagonist is vocal now (Just Cause style) and even pops into 3rd person when in home bases (Just Cause style) and landscape features can be destroyed to enhance reputation (Just Cause Style).
    What it lacks is the usual polish of the FC franchise, with some things feeling unfinished or undercooked, like the many things you can read scattered about the landscape, which remain active and readable after you have read them, and the many wild mission givers, again remaining active, calling your name after you've already taken the mission.
    There's a strong misogynistic streak running through the game, with equal numbers of fighters being female, and a trans man being played by, uh, a man!
    The basic plot is infuriatingly nonsensical. Add poison to tobacco to cure cancer, and enslave the population to farm it.
    The whole tone is brutal and dark, with little opportunity for fun.

    Начнём с NPC - по уровню развития можно сравнить со второй CoD (даже в первой Halo были намного разумнее)
    По началу я старался не обращать внимания на музыку, это же вкусовщина и всё такое. Но уже через 10-12 часов игры она просто начинает выбешивать своей навязчивостью и однообразием. Даже при том условии, что я    Купил, чтобы пройти на 100% за отпуск, но через силу добил сюжет и удалил
    Начнём с NPC - по уровню развития можно сравнить со второй CoD (даже в первой Halo были намного разумнее)
    По началу я старался не обращать внимания на музыку, это же вкусовщина и всё такое. Но уже через 10-12 часов игры она просто начинает выбешивать своей навязчивостью и однообразием. Даже при том условии, что я выключил её в настройках, она всё равно играет в миссиях и моментами на фоне
    Квесты максимально однообразны и в 80% случаев вам предстоит перестрелять какое-то кол-во охранников и украсть/уничтожить какой-то объект. Но тут и всплывает проблема тупых NPC - по стелсу, который постоянно навязывает разработчик, проходить скучно, а в открытую слишком просто даже на втором уровне сложности (их тут кстати всего два. Сюда же приписываю и сюжетные квесты - они настолько же слабо проработаны, иногда даже разницы не замечаешь между побочкой и мэйн квестами
    И тут мы приходим к сюжету. Скажу честно, я нейтрально относился к всякого рода меньшинствам. В общем соблюдал солидарность. Но вашу мать, эта нарочитая повестка настолько беспринципно проталкивается играми и прочим медиа в мою повседневность, в которой она нафиг не сдалась, что у меня заканчивается терпение. И ладно ещё, если бы этих персонажей с повесткой головного мозга было всего пара-тройка, но они составляют буквально 60-70% твоих союзников, а оставшиеся 30% жестко ими критикуются без всякой на то причины внутри контекста самой игры. И пускай их было бы столь много с хорошей проработкой, но нет, они существуют внутри игры буквально ради провокации. Вы не встретите здесь персонажей с сильным бэком, понятной мотивацией или сильными и подкованными убеждениями. Никто из них не вызывает чувства уважения за время игры, а банда школьников вообще смотрятся максимально нелепо. Из-за всех этих моментов в сюжет просто не верится, особенно когда смотришь на главного "злодея" истории, который выполнен на удивление добротно, чего не скажешь об его приспешниках, которых можно охарактеризовать только "фриками" как и собственных союзников за редким исключением.
    Теперь к визуалу - многие анимации остались ещё с третьей части, что выглядит уже скорее кринжово. В целом такое ощущение, будто графика не улучшалась с момента выхода четвёртой части. Есть красивые пейзажи, но только ради них в игре не особо хочется задерживаться. Размеры карты пошли только в минус, так как тут и без того хватает затягивающих (в плохом смысле) факторов помимо неё
    В общем из-за всех этих моментов я не могу порекомендовать эту игру как фанатам Far Cry, так и новым игрокам - она скучная, а во многих моментах даже раздражает или разочаровывает. Своих денег не стоит, советую дождаться скидок если будет совсем нечем заняться    … Expand

It isn't the next breath of the wild or red dead redemption with every new instalment, and nor should it be. Far Cry is junk food, I dive into it every 2-3 years, pick it's juicy bones dry, and go back to playing whatever I'm usually playing at the time. Far Cry 6 is, yes, another Far Cry. andPeople seem to not understand that the Far Cry franchise is not intent on reinventing the wheel. Far Cry 6 is, yes, another Far Cry. and that is a very good thing. Honestly, Ubisoft could sell me Far Cry 4 every 3 years and that would be good with me. This franchise is a good time, it's enjoyable, and it's fun, and it's well worth the $60. The fact that this instalment in particular is written so well is just the cherry on top. Props to the writers for making a game deeply political using real subtlety instead of shoving their ideals in your face, as well as responsible LGBTQ representation, and not to mention the track of licensed songs that are all fantastic and the massive improvement over FC5 in animations and graphical detail.… Expand

As such, it contains and maintains many ideas, aesthetics and tropes from previous entries, while trying to carve out its own identity. Balancing the identity of the work with the identity of the franchise is a fine line, but I believe UbiToronto did a pretty bang upI honestly cannot make heads or tails of the review bombing of this game. I am biased in favour of the Far Cry series, that should definitely be stated, however, I won't heap unearned praise on a work simply because I like the franchise.

    I had little to no game breaking or otherwise immersion breaking bugs. There is certainly still some performance being left behind due to poor optimization, and if they don't fix it, that will be frustrating. AAA games should be well optimized on release.

    The main thing I wanted to write this review to say: this game is, in fact, exactly what the haters claim it is not, which is to say a very thoughtful development of the core idea of the franchise. Yara as a locale works great to develop intrigue, and the pseudo-Cuban history is compelling and interesting. Playing as female Dani, I'm very impressed with the voice actor, and I have rarely heard another character talk and be taken out of the moment. Gameplay wise, the shooting is still very good, the vehicles are fun, if a bit silly, and the other mechanics around base building and item collection are novel, if not always super compelling. Many of the foundational aspects of the series have been remodelled here, and pretty much across the board in interesting and fun ways. The soundtrack is also the best I can remember for this series.

    I will also note a strong majority of the low scores came out incredibly quickly after the game launched and seem to have had little to no actual experience with the game, or were disappointed about a lack of localization. I don't know about you, dear reader, but that doesn't really seem like a 3.8 worthy review situation to me.

    TL,DR; its good. Its probably the best refinement of the formula to-date. Everything that makes these games good/fun is here and boosted. If you're worn out on FC games, then like, don't play FC games.    … Expand

    I will write here in English, but I always played Far Cry in Italian and paid for it by buying this game. This edition saved on everything! This story is idiotic and funny as the devil. This is the most disgusting part in the whole Far cry series! I think that the developer should stop releasing the series called Far Cry altogether, since your fantasy scenarios have exhausted your common sense!

    Do not buy unless you have amd new gen gpu.. Game is not optimized for nvidia graphics cards and is strongly favoring amd gpu as this title is amd sponsored. Also, even though this is previous gen engine, it requires 16gb vram for hd textures, as also explained by Ubi:
    “ Please note that the minimum requirement for running the HD Texture Pack for Far Cry 6 is 16GB of VRAM.”, again to push    Do not buy unless you have amd new gen gpu..     I don't recall when was the last time I regretted wasting money buying a game but this time I truly regret wasting my money on this. As a Far Cry series fan, I was truly disappointed. Not only because of stupid bugs such as an enemy respawn (looks like they hire monkeys for QA) but because they ruined the settings. Their worst mistake was styling this game like Watch Dogs 2. I am really disappointed by the fact they could not implement guns attachments normally like in previous Far Cry's (useless silencers that cannot work for more than a few shots, stupid pink scopes, stupid bullets system, etc.).     The game demands 12GB of VRAM to handle HD textures. Nowhere before the release has Ubisoft mentioned it as a requirement, not even for 4k gaming in Ultra. It also hasn't mentioned that if you don't own the suitable hardware the game will look like it belongs in a different age - and not one in the future but rather somewhere around mid-2000s.

    What transpires is a whole mountain of bugs on high-end GPUs - like, lo and behold, Nvidia's RTX 3080, 3070 or 3060Ti. Was it a deliberate attempt to nerf the game on NV cards, as Ubisoft works with AMD? No idea, but it sure has made it look like it's 2005 again.

    (Although some people are reporting similar issues even without the HD pack).

    Not that poor resolution makes performance any better. The game looks worse than, actually, any of the past three FC games - but runs at lower FPS than they do.

    With 5600x, RTX 3080 and 64GB of RAM you can get 50-60fps in 4k - a drop of 50-60% vs. FarCry 5, which clocked around 80 to 100fps and looked better than FC6 does. It also suffers from occasional lags and drops in performance, regardless of what's going on on the screen - and not even taxing the hardware, as my temps and fan speeds are all normal. Out of the blue it drops to 10fps, adding to already poor first impressions.

    You're getting a terrible performance hit without any demonstrable benefits in visual quality - and it many ways the game actually looks worse, even when it runs at decent speeds.

    Some bugs could be excused, of course, as games typically encounter hiccups upon release - but here we're not talking about a ground-breaking new game (like Cyberpunk) but a title that is a fourth installment in 10 years and has inherited much of the previous games' mechanics and even graphics.

    When running around the tropical landscapes does it really feel all that markedly different from even FarCry 3 launched in 2012? Not to me. I don't see a decade of game development in this title. Instead, it looks like a cheap, half-baked, rushed knock-off released to milk the franchise that millions will quickly snap up just because of the name.

    I might update my review when - and if - the performance is optimized and all of the glitches are fixed. But at this point there's just too many of them for an enjoyable gaming experience.    … Expand

    There has been a huge decline in the quality of games and it's not all because of the Pandemic. This is even worse than AC Valhalla. Also there's a mission where you find veggies for a vegan. I think we just need to start our own game studio since these big companies can't make good games anymore

    A big map, but everything practical looks equally lame. My language is Italian, this game has always been in Italian translation. In general, this is the worst edition of this series.

    I'am disappointed that this 6-th part of far cry, there is no voice-over in Italian. After three hours I pulled the game off my PC, I do not see here a fascinating story, and I see a stupid creation of nonsense that has nothing to do with the full game and the meaning of fun to play. It's more like a game about Nazis taking over a country with a crazy president. Crazy wtf...

    It’s actually an 8.5 out of 10 and the reason why I love it so much is pretty obvious. Great characters, both villains and protagonists (including dani) Awesome weapons and combat. My favorite supremo is the gladiator. (It gives you a huge health boost and makes you swing your machete like a maniac). Speaking of melee, I’m a little disappointed there aren’t any actual melee weapons,It’s actually an 8.5 out of 10 and the reason why I love it so much is pretty obvious. Great characters, both villains and protagonists (including dani) Awesome weapons and combat. My favorite supremo is the gladiator. (It gives you a huge health boost and makes you swing your machete like a maniac). Speaking of melee, I’m a little disappointed there aren’t any actual melee weapons, however the brutal machete animations make up for it, they’re better than battlefield animations and depend on you surroundings. The pets are cool and armed gameplay variety. Some of the weapons feel unbalanced unlike far cry 5 but they’re all useable still. The game feels a little boring the first 1-2 hours. My last complaint is the visual glitches, the game gets really blurry, hopefully this gets patched. Play this game!… Expand

    Unfassbar langweilig... Das Spiel spielt sich wie jedes der letzten Far Cry - es fehlt komplett an Tiefe... Die Charaktere sind unbedeutend und einem absolut egal, das selbe gilt für den Protagonisten. Die Missionen langweilen und auch Gameplaytechnisch kann das Spiel nicht überzeugen...

    Besides of all this hate, Far Cry 6 has a bad technical presentation. Full of bugs and rendering issues. Gameplay was same like previous titles and I was not able to finish the game since I had no fun anymore and stopped to play.

    The game, at least on PC, had various visual and audio bugs, such as the eyes always having crazy artifacting in cutscenes, some spoken dialogue lines just not playing, and asset pop in if you're moving too quickly.
    Additionally, this game is lacking in any talent features at all, a hideous gear system that's bulky and clunky, unresponsive menus, and worse of all, it actually takes away the aspect of having to interact with the world to gather items. E.g, when you kill an animal, there's no skinning, you just walk over it, same with ammo from enemies. The interactable objects in the world have extremely small and precise angles of interaction that make collecting things tedious as hell.
    The straw teat broke the camels back for me however, is this very strange decision to make certain areas of the world force you into 3rd person? I assume to make you want to spend money on buying the cosmetics for your character, but it makes no sense and has no warner or toggle feature.

    Являюсь огромным поклонником Far Cry 3, так как там был прорывной геймплей для своего времени и достойный сюжет с шикарными персонажами. Far cry 4 - паразитирование на успехе третьей части, но так как кор геймплея был сохранён - на половину прохождения сил хватило. Far Cry 5, как бы это не было забавно, но я эту часть люблю наверное даже больше чем третью, так как несмотря на полнуюЯвляюсь огромным поклонником Far Cry 3, так как там был прорывной геймплей для своего времени и достойный сюжет с шикарными персонажами. Да, был донат(Ubisoft же, кмон), были спорные моменты, НО, когда ты расщитав баллистическую траекторию пули, вышибаешь бронебойным патроном пилота из кабины летящего самолёта или вертолёта - то все минусы просто теряются, в море шизонутого фана, психодел драйва и чувства что ты главный псих в этой психушке.
    Что же я могу сказать о Far Cry 6... по человечески обидно. Вот честно. Даже если не брать в расчёт сюжет (я не знаю, что за олигофрены сидят и пишут сценарий на игры Ubisoft, но я надеюсь что их карьера закончится быстро и безславно), так испоганить геймплей - это надо постараться. Такое чуство, как будто Юбики уволили всех старожилов, наняли на их место школьников с нулевым опытом в геймдеве, но которые являются максимально политически правильными и корректными, и просто отдали игру им на растерзание. Как ещё можно оправдать тут ужас, вот что привратилась игра? Что с музыкой? Что с графикой? Что с геймплеем? Чего только стоит рекламная компания которая строилась блин на петухе? И все так акцентировали на этом петухе(кстати без иронии, это единсвенные прописанный персонаж игры) внимание. В общем, свою боль я выплеснул, играть в этот кусок спагетти кода я настоятельно не рекомендую.     FOR ALL ITALIAN PEOPLE HERE: Learn to speak English. I'm from The Netherlands, do you think Dutch is an option in Far Cry 6? No. But since when is that a problem? You lower the score over some bs. Thanks to these Itlaian reviewers this game gets a 3.9 in stead of a 7 or higher.

    Initially i had so much technical issues with my game but it was due to going to Windows 11 and forgetting to get all the drivers, get new driver for motherboard etc after quick upgrade to Windows 11. So my performance was horrendous almost unplayble on expensive hardware.

    After some rethinking i tried tweaking settings some hours and drivers now its completly a good experience.     In fact, if there is one sound that stands out, it is the propaganda that we hear throughout our adventures and that becomes ingrained in our ears.

    It can be said that the whole narrative is well put together, whether through powerful and meaningful cutscenes, deep conversations between characters, or details scattered around the map.
    It's impossible not to notice the importance of the role that our character will play, establishing itself as a crucial part of the narrative, as for example when helping the Libertad guerrillas to recruit key pieces for the revolution and taking down the main transigents of the current power.

    I felt that the secondary characters on the side of good had good screen time to create connections with them and understand their motives and what they believe in, although some of them are extremely caricaturised, but I must admit that never to the point of becoming unrealistic. On the other side, their evil counterparts sometimes lacked the relevance necessary to make them iconic, perhaps to enhance the brilliant performance of Giancarlo Esposito as the villain of the story, we can say that he really is a villain in the image of Far Cry, the only improvement would be just to give him a little more air time.
    On the other hand what didn't need more time were the main missions, I felt the game dragged a little more than necessary making some of the missions near the end seem a little repetitive.

    Still this detail doesn't detract from the overall experience.
    The gunplay is excellent! Fun and with a huge range of weapons to try, and through a crafting system we have access to various accessories, including different ammunition for various situations, adding to this we have the Supremos that are nothing less than backpacks, each with a special power, for example one that launches missiles at enemies, one that heals and lets us revive, among others of equal importance.

    In terms of movement we are introduced to guerrilla trails, these trails are paths off the main streets laid out by former guerrillas to facilitate the mobility and possible ambushes, moreover there is a wide selection of means of land transportation, air transportation and sea transportation, which can be accessed in multiple camps.
    In the main camps we can also access various stores that can be upgraded by collecting materials that we gather throughout our journey, but materials are not all we can find on the road, since there is a giant choice of clothing and accessories that are only available when found, each outfit providing buffs or different stats to the player, this, added to the various side missions, zone achievements, treasure hunts and mini-games provides content for hundreds of hours.
    All this exploration can be done in co-op mode by joining a friend's campaign for extra fun, not that you need a friend to eliminate enemies since the artificial intelligence is one of the worst I have ever seen in a game of this quality which creates completely ridiculous moments in gameplay.
    Other than that, the contact with bugs was minimal, only what is expected for a world as big as Yara's.

    On the art side, the game managed to perfectly capture the feeling of the exotic island, with beautiful landscapes and a gorgeous color palette. Over and over again I found myself simply noticing the details of nature and its animals.
    The sound of the weapons is satisfying, as is that of the explosions and other events during combat. The same can be said for the perfectly chosen soundtrack.

    We can not end this review without talking about our beloved animals that always accompany us for each mission or walk and that remain useful from beginning to end of the game in the most diverse situations.

    The feeling that remains in Far Cry 6, is that it does not depart from the formula of past titles in the franchise and that's not exactly a bad thing, The game managed to improve the aspects that needed improvement, while still providing a phenomenal story and a remarkable experience.    … Expand

    I found myself getting really annoyed at most of the characters and even the protagonist Dani, but decided to finish the story to see what would happen with Antón and Diego.

    Weapons & Gameplay:
    I tried every weapon and while it's fun to one shot helicopters with blast rounds/arrows, or taking down an outpost without getting noticed it gets repetitive very fast.

    The Amigos system fell kinda flat for me, It had so much potential with cool companions, but I found myself dismissing them because they got in the way and did not really offer a great addition to my arsenal until I got Oluso who actually worked well with my playstyle.

    The Supremo Backpacks is a good addition to this game. I don't really have any negative to say about them, I tried all of them but ended up only using two and for the late game only the one from the Triada questline.

    Multiplayer:
    Tried some Co-op as well and it is really glitchy and not so smooth as I was hoping for.
    It felt like the game was rushed like many other titles from Ubisoft, and could have used another 6months in the cooker.

    Closing thoughts:
    This is not a terrible game I would not have finished it if it was, but as I wrote earlier it could have used 6months or more in the cooker just to polish mechanics, story beats and the AI to today's standards.

Ich habe mich schon lange nicht mehr so durch ein Spiel gequält bzw. musste mich zwingen es weiter zu spielen, weil es einfach ein so abgenutztes Gameplay Designe bietet.     this is a difficult game to review. it has its obvious flaws but obviously some strengths to consider before buying it:

    a rich an true open world like the ones of the witcher 3, elder scrolls and others, usually offers you to have impact. you are the hero (or even a villain) and the world lets you know that. what you do, changes things - even outside the storyline the developers want you to live through. whereas the setting of farcry 6 suggests a lot of potential full of grayscales, it remains superficial instead, tries to shock but doesn´t reflect. you are the good one. the other ones are bad. shoot them. don´t ask.

    the story itself is decent, carried by a set of characters that is an interesting mixture of memorable and „meh“. most of them are based on clichees and archetypes we know from other media as film, some of them offer some depth, most of them don´t. nonetheless the cast and its stories remains interesting enough to go on.

    the shooter part is great, customization and crafting is nice (but seems completely unnecessary after you find your first unique weapon, a pistol that you will most propably use until the end screen). side activities are fun (but the meaning of most of them is simply to unlock a new spot to fast travel to) and the enemies are some of the dumbest i have ever seen. that being said, the game is far too easy and doesn´t offer any difficulty settings above the casual player.

    i still find reasons to like the game though. the world looks fantastic and at some points creates so much atmosphere you could cut it with a knife. that starts with above average graphics, good character models, farsight, and the mood the lighting creates. the interactions with the world are as usual great and feel great - you are not just a camera floating and shooting above the surface, but your movements feel real. voice acting is awesome (and i usually prefer a talking hero to a silent person, which feels … strange?) and some of the companions (the dog on wheels!) are just as cute as they are creative. the mission design - especially the main missions are awesome and extremely varied - much in contrast to the open world that seems livelier than it is.

    i still give it a 7 as it makes more things right than it does wrong. if you can overlook the flaws i mentioned (and the other ones .. there is more) and want to have fun shooting (and some more), then this game is for you. if you expect for a war crime saga that provoques some though - like spec ops: the line - look somewhere else.    … Expand

The scenario itself is mental not normal to play this madness of an idiot president. Only parts 3 and 4 I recommend to the game. The 5th part of the game was a complete waste of time.     I've been playing Far Cry since 1. I enjoyed the game play, graphics and storyline. It doesn't matter when devs change the game mechanics. you as a player need to adapt it. You want FPS, go play COD.

No one wants to spray water towers with the name of a BDSM rooster, so he could be your companion. No one wants the main mission objective to be collecting vegetables for a vegan so she could enjoy her BBQ party. And all that while carrying a huge absurd backpack all over your back that shoots rockets, which is also probably the worst thing Ubisoft ever put in their game.

    Seeing all those modern "problems" projected in a game like this and spending 10 hours trying to enjoy it, but not being able to because of how annoying it is, was most likely the worst gaming experience I had this year.    … Expand

    Far Cry 6 reminding me a lot of Just cause 3, in that while youre in this massive world, everything felt pretty cookie cutter generic.. and unlike just cause 3 the weapons weren’t crazy enough to keep fully entertained and there weren’t great story pieces pulling me through… just the same stuff over and over again, get to the spot on the map, deal with checkpoint along the way, take them over for future fast travl points, get back to the mission, kill all the people there.. thankfully youll unlock pets such as a crocodile or puppy to help along the way to attack and distract, but kill all the nemies, or find a key card so you can enter a building to throw a switch, or kill al the enemies and hack a computer which is just you guarding It while a percentage meter fills, over and over and over.. again no great story piece or story telling within the actual campaign except maybe couple of times.. really exposing the games bloat, I felt like I was doing side missions through most of the campaign.. I know box numbers are imorptant to people spending 60 to 70 dollars on a game, I get that.. but I would prefer and epic 12 hours over a mediocre repetitive 20.. I would even be fine having to level up to unlock those story missions and feel an urge to liberate the island and find weapons, if the grind didn’t feel obnoxious and get in the way of my play… maybe I have to capture a certain amount of enemy bases… if that means I get some story missions with some effort rather than feel like an algorithm developed the game.. Ill take it…
    Overall Far Cry 6 had its moments that made me laugh or moments of me actually having fun, but for the most part I felt lke I was just going through the motions of a soulless shooter, chasing credits rather than chasing the next epic event around the next corner..
    Far Cry 6 is a good shooter, it is brimming with things to do and weapons to find, you can even play with friends… but wow does this game do nothing memorable.

    The game is great, there is a lot of thing to do, gameplay is simple and the same as the other games. Nothing new about it, beside the story (obviously). I didn't finish the game yet but at the moment the story has nothing awesome about it. The game is beautiful, the graphics of the world are awesome, but the characters graphic are kinda strange. About bugs, yes, I've seen a few bugs,The game is great, there is a lot of thing to do, gameplay is simple and the same as the other games. Nothing new about it, beside the story (obviously). Far Cry 6 is a step down from Far Cry 5, somehow they managed to make it worse than previous installments, the game has no charm apart from maybe Anton Castillo and maybe Diego, you barely interact with them anyway, so that isn't really enough to make this game good.
    The prologue is soooo good, I wish they made the whole game have the same feeling. You start with your friend Lita and Alejo (who get's shot after about two lines of dialogue), and you have to make your escape from Esperanza, this part of the game was so fun, you would feel terified, there was nothing you could do but run and hide through the sewers of the city. Esperanza feels like a vibrant city, full of culture and memorable people, only to be bullied by Castillo's military force. However, the feeling is gone once you finish the prologue, because Esperanza is literally empty in game except for scripted events, there's like two missions which send you to esperanza, and it's completely empty, the one where you storm Castillo's speech at the hotel, and the final mission, the only people you see other than those two missions are military, which of course are hostile towards Dani.
    Soon after the prologue, you meet Carla, which is a somewhat well written character, you can feel attached to her and her cause, only because she's on screen for 5 minutes for the whole game, yeah. You see her at the start, before departing to "unite" all the guerilla factions in Yara, and she only shows up once you convinced all the factions to join Libertad. She is there for a few cutscenes, nothing more, her story is somewhat tragic, but we don't interact with her enough to feel sad or anything, I just felt dissapointed when her story tragically ended.
    After meeting Clara, you meet Juan, which the writers tried to make the funny guy, however he didn't really strike me as much, sometimes he's funny, sometimes he's just annoying, however that's probably just my opinion, one of my friends likes him, so there's that. He's memorable, probably the second or third most memorable character in this game.
    The story slowly advances as you "free" more of Yara, by free I mean you take out checkpoints and 20 FND outposts, they are the same as outposts in older games. The only reason you would go out of your way to clear the checkpoints is to deal with the road spikes, because, once you free them, the military presence in the area remains the same, some even use the checkpoint you just liberated, that has blue flags with "Libertad" written all over them, this shouldn't be a surprise, seeing as the AI in Far Cry has always been horrible, there's also random events with AI but they are really dumb, like, there's a car that's broken down on the side of the road with a couple bystanders, you can get 20 Yaran Pesos if you repair it for them, however, once you aproach them with your car the NPCs will get scared and run, even if you drive slow.
    There are 3 (or maybe 4 if you want to count them like that) factions that will join Libertad, Monteros, Maximas Matanzas, Legends of '67 and La moral which share the same territory and join at the same time so you don't really have to go out of your way to make them join. Now, I fell as all of them ar well written, except for some characters, except for the Monteros, they have their good points in the story, but there's a mission when you're supposed to kill Jose Castillo (Anton's nephew) and, he wants to hang Alejandro Montero for whatever reason, I guess he just woke up and decided to do that, he was a scientist for them before but I guess he is getting hanged now, and at his hanging, his father rides on a horse, and cuts his noose with a machete, and he notices that Alejandro has a C4 strapped to his hands, and he then proceeds to cut the C4 loose from him, throw Alejandro of the horse, and ride away with the C4 and "die heroically". Like... what? It would've been easier to just throw the C4 away. They just wanted to create some drama I guess. Maximas Matanzas are pretty well written and I like Paulo and Paz, Talia is a little crazy but she's still a great character, you also meet Bembe, which is a good character, a little crazy, but he makes sense at times. Same goes with the Legends of '67, and the death of El Tigre and Jonron actually felt sad.
    But the ending was the biggest letdown of the whole game, you find out from Juan that Carla has accepted to meet with Castillo, he told her the war was over, he was dying of Leukemia, and that there's no more reason for war. You and Juan have to storm Isla de Leon, Castillo's Private Island to have a chat with him. You sit down with them at the table, some forgettable dialogue, and then Juan wants to shoot Diego, you save him, and Anton kills Carla. Big sad. I guess, you then storm Esperanza with Libertad and all the friends you made along the way, but you don't get to kill Castillo, as he kills Diego and then kills himself. Really dissapointing that Giancarlo Esposito played in such a story.    … Expand

    Супремо использовал раза 3-4.
    Устраивать операции Los Bandidos непонятно зачем. Ресурсов и так много, апгрейды оружия ничего не стоят. 1-4 часа ожидания реального времени перед операцией, превращают их в "весёлую ферму".

    Совсем не оценил "Сильных, независимых женщин" в роли ВСЕХ командиров повстанцев, серьёзно? Женщина, женщина, женщина, женщина+транс. А если мужик в компашке есть, то он какой-то трус, типа деда на танке или радиоведущего.
    Сценаристы щедро выкашивают ряды повстанцев, особенно жалко Эль Тигре, ведь он был огонь дед.

    Концовка абсолютная гадость, которая показывает что даже без ГГ и революции, всё закончилось бы так же.
    Хуана стоило бы убить.

    Баги:
    Играл в "ubisoft connect", игра вылетела около 10 раз, пару раз отказалась запускаться потому что "Нет соединения с сервером ubisoft".
    Миссии сопровождения постоянно багуются, кто-то может стоять на месте, кто-то застрять. Сопровождаемый может свалить куда-то в сторону потому что там где-то стреляли и ему тоже хочется.
    Скрытно убив АБСОЛЮТНО всех врагов в одной части базы и перейдя в другую часть, в начале спавнятся враги которые находят трупы.
    АМИГО - постоянно где-то теряются, застревают, не атакуют, привлекают ОЧЕНЬ много внимания.

    Бесполезные механики:
    Почему БРОНЕБОЙНЫЕ не наносят урон воздушной технике? Почему я не могу убить пилота ими?
    Одежда.
    Уникальные стволы, кроме 6-зарядного гранатомёта и пистолета который перезаряжает всё твоё оружие, настоящий шлак.
    Почти невозможно убить в тело, зато в голову умирают на раз. 2500 убийств, 2100 в голову. Остальные 400 сделаны мачете, дробовиком, гранатомётом, стационарным пулемётом, танком.
    С вертолёта невозможно стрелять так же как он по тебе, прицел движется на какие-то единицы градусов.
    Уровни-ранги, появляется лишь сообщение "У торговцев Хуана появилось новое оружие", что за торговцы и что за оружие? Оружие за бабки можно купить когда построишь казарму или чёто такое на базе повстанцев, либо продолжать захватывать кпп и базы, и всё появится бесплатно.
    МИЛЛОН глушителей - барахло.

    В самом начале нам заявляют что у Кастильо 300.000 солдат, по ощущениям, на острове ВСЕХ жителей должно быть раза в 2-3 меньше чем 300к. Редкие деревни, маленькие поселения с домами в 1-2 этажа. Разве что в главном городе есть хоть какие-то многоэтажки. Но этого всего было бы недостаточно для 300к.

    Русский перевод и озвучка:
    ЗАЧЕМ?! Зачем они сделали включения таких слов как "сольдадос", "кохонес" и т.д. Почему нельзя было перевести всё сразу? Там по сюжету у людей 2 родных языка и типа второй не переводим?    … Expand

The fact that it took me six shots from a sniper rifle (3 in the head mind you) to take down a single soldier is the most ridiculously annoying thing ever. Am I missing something here? I mean wtf is this!? Seriously! The only thing I can think of is this game wasn't made for me and that's totally cool I can respect that but I have played the far cry since the original so I guess I had some expectations on what this game would be. I mean I wasn't super into New Dawn at all but I would take that over this any day.… Expand

Cyberpunk had issues, but what it did right was require leveling up and exploring to acquire significantly better gear and guns to combat tougher enemies, which made side missions, exploring, and gameAll guns, gear, loot, and leveling up from side missions and exploring is useless hence boring.     Pretty meh game tbh. It just feels like a watered down version of far cry 4. No characters that are all that interesting, and even the setting is nothing super interesting. 3 had an amazing villain, 4 was immensely open world, and 5 had an interesting premise. There is nothing special about 6 that makes it stand out. A few new guns and that's about it. Not terrible but nothing amazingPretty meh game tbh.     Графен не завезли, судя по всему-движок от 5й части без изменений. Багов-больше чем где бы то ни было, ИМХО-это самая багованная игра из всех, что я играл. На твою тачку наехал армейский джип? Умри. Застрял на машине в текстуре-умри, ведь она сама по себе загорится и рванет. Летишь на вингсьюте над определенной локацией-умри. Но это только на определенном участке карты, всем остальнымГрафен не завезли, судя по всему-движок от 5й части без изменений. Ты можешь из-за кривизны геймплея зафейлить самую простую миссию в стиле "поймай рыбку и крокодилку и принеси мне" и начать ее заново с самого начала . Спросите как? Легко-в игре, ОКАЗЫВАЕТСЯ есть QTE, судя по всему-одно единственное за игру. И таких мелочей поджигающих пукан-просто не пересчитать. Спавн врагов перед носом у ГГ, спавн твоего транспорта в 50 метрах от ГГ опять же из воздуха, бесполезное оружие(всю игру можно спокойно пройти с одним комплектом). Жалею о потраченных деньгах.… Expand

    Эта игра досталась мне за 999 рублей по подписке юбисофт. Слава Богу, я не заплатил за нее фулл прайс. Прошел за 19 часов. Полнейшая клоунада а не сюжет, стоит сказать спасибо героям (которые ну просто невозможно глупы и странны), антагониста мало (он вообще не раскрыт) как и его сын.     The best Far Cry since part 3. I like the setting and the NPCs so far. Played from day one and didn't notice any bugs or glitches, not bad!

    Far Cry finally got rid of the most annoying bits (like the infamous towers), but that’s pretty much the extent of the series’ progress. Far Cry 6 doesn’t improve on the core concept in any way. Still, all the expected mechanics work as advertised and keep the game above the line.

    Far Cry 6 is a work that strives for progress while maintaining stability. There are ancestral gameplays of the series that have not been outdated, and some system optimizations and improvements that keep pace with the times. In general, it is still a familiar formula and a familiar taste.

    Upon reaching the end of this review, I’ve come away with a revelation. Yes, Far Cry 6 is the accumulated chemical detritus from years of similar lab experiments, layered and stratified, compounded with time and pressure. But it isn’t a catalyst. I am. I played Far Cry 6 to completion: I pressed buttons to shoot guns and progress the plot; I killed an inordinate number of animals to buy upgrades; I equipped new pairs of pants to make myself stealthier. And at the end of it all, I felt nothing. I was unchanged by the experience.
