    sure its a action game but its not even considered to be any bit more than totaly stupid shooting...i got a mission to kill an artist and did sneak into the villige unseen and thought i could reveal some of his nasty plans or catch some dialogs....but fail he just stands in a house not moving and if you get near a trigger lets him flee....this game is just an empty shell...i am realy disapointed.    … Expand

    Es ist extrem Langweilig, alles wiederholt sich usw.....

    I haven't played a farcry game in a long time so maybe I am the exception but all I can say is this game is extremely fun and beautiful. I am playing 40fps on 4k with a gtx1080ti.

    Idk why all the haters? I would easily recommend this game!

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. You know how at the first hour of game-play you're really captivated by every little detail you see?
    This game really captivated me for a long time, I loved the small immersive things like having Boom Boom ride in the car with you and the way every vehicle was detailed. There's countless good mechanics and details in this game and the story is good too. But around 85% of the story missions are ok and it lost me where it mattered most. When some of the first characters we grow close to died, I had hope for the future relationships of the other people. The ones who survived were the ones in my opinion, with the least fire. Seeing the last moments so serious and grim only to be met with the character's lack of genuine emotion and contemplation really made the game just a grab and go experience near the end.
    Juan never was reacted to properly by Dani and the last few cut-scenes felt awkward and hopeless. It was all for nothing and instead of 100% the game in the end, I got off immediately . There was nothing to fight or play for, the immersive elements of the game had no meaning, the game lost my heart and attention due to the following.
    Castillo became ugly and weak and no longer had any weight to him, I noticed the weight moving towards the son. He lost his edge and there was no other boss that I could take seriously. There was no depth or reasoning, no debate or questioning behind the motives. Just a copy paste personality or goal for the bad guys. The only one that I felt intrigued and ready to learn more about was the one the son killed and we never even said hardly a sentence to. The threat and drive was diminishing and the meaning of the game began to become apparent that I would not have what I expect play out or fulfilled.
    The weight of our character's relationships were so heavy and there was so much loss experienced. The relationships that were there did not get the immersive or well played out moments that could have redeemed some of the meaning during the game's story arch. When the first fireworks launched in the game and the celebration commenced. I could feel that this was the peak of the game, gaining might and celebrating victory. When the consequences rang out, the meaning needed a greater feel but instead I could feel the game thin out. Dani stopped developing and I was no longer caring about the details or the world I was in. Yara was just this disappointing bittersweet place.
    When Far Cry 2 came out, some of the most captivating moments were the immersive car rides and the U.I being more directed to feel your player and the experience the gameplay could dish out. Far Cry 6 did this but I don't think it did on purpose, it was an incredibly enjoyable 50 hours worth of gameplay but that last hour just made me know I would not want to return and that maybe the secret ending felt the best.
    Clara's death was so small and frustrating as Dani's peak was not there, he was a whelp and Juan never had the consequences nearly as much as we felt throughout the story. So many moments with my character's outfit and skill being terrifying and a force of nature but the dialogue was the opposite. I no longer felt the forward drive of the games plot with the lack of that role playing element. What's the point if everyone just dies that matters and the relationships that are still around are lacking depth and interaction they need...Even the kid at the very last moment?...
    Come on... If Yara isn't a beautiful in depth place with something to fight for, then what the hell did I spent 50 hours for? Castilio became weak and would have died no matter what and the bloodline never mattered and the research and plot and ethics never mattered and it is fundamental to world building and it breaks down mechanical elements like gameplay and immersion.
    It was the potential 9.5/10 but it became a 3/10. Worth my money and time though because the design, sound, gameplay and optimization was outstanding. Outstanding work and world building but it felt like the ball got dropped when it mattered the most.    … Expand

    Mediocre at best. Story is meh, characters are not that enjoyable (neither good nor bad guys).
    Performance is pretty bad considering FC 5 was very good.

    If you compare it to FC5, it's honestly a downgrade in terms of story and immersion.
    This Far Cry went with a more "Just Cause" type gameplay which kinda killed it for me.

    Disappointed describes the game at best.

В пятёрке была интересная стрельба, новое оружие, возможность летать на самолётах и вертолётах, красивый сеттинг. Я купил шестую часть и продержался часов 10-15, пришлось удалить игру. Ощущение, что ты играешь в пятую часть, изменения сеттинга не помогают, простоЯ играл во все части FarCry, за последнее время лучше 3ей части не выходило ничего, дальше что-то новое ощущалось в 5ой части.     The game is fun and engaging, but repetitive after a few hours. The main complaint I have is about the crashes. It crashes on PC pretty often when you open the menu and with the retarded no-save-file system it can happen you lose 20 min of your time because it crashes right at the end of a quest, which surprise-surprise you have to restart from the beginning after the crash.

    Plot and Direction,first of all the plot it is strangely told but it’s exist ( unlike FC5),and most of it carried by Antoń Castillo (Giancarlo Esposito) by his charisma and different appearance unlike Vaas, Pagan, Joseph, how’s he acts and what he does to make Yara a new paradise.But ending is forgetting all of these and says: Anton is sick that is why he kills his own son.On the other direction of the cutscenes is decent in main quests, and horrible in side quests.
    Also I need to admit that map is divided into 3 mini maps,that we already saw in FC5.In each region there’s own Villian, and group of civilians/ex-guerillas u need to help to made up their mind to fight at your side against Castillo.And here’s what I think of these regions:
    First Suggested Region of Farmers - trash, with uninteresting characters and primitive villain
    Second Region of Rappers - not good, not bad most of the characters are still trash but there’s a decent characters like Bicho or Bembe, Villians are interesting but flat.
    Third Region - amazing characters, female villain ( two scenes - First scene introduces here, second scene shows her dead body) , and McKay is the greatest villain of all regions because of his personality and motivation.    … Expand

    They actually do change it quite a bit from the last Far Cry, almost all changes are for the worse. The game forces you into the most boring possible play style, enemies are bullet sponges, story is convoluted and uninteresting. Easily the worst Far Cry

Because nothing has definitely changed in Far Cry.
    I think the game was made to **** off" according to the old patterns and there's nothing new and exciting here. It's worth the attention only for the first three hours, further play is not interesting and does not represent anything substantial and diverse.

    You have to be a stupid fool to give this part FC6 a score higher than 5...    … Expand

    I play the game in full coop Aswell as 5 so my review is based upon having a partner to play the full game with.     To begin, I just want to say that I have played FarCry 3, 4 and 5 with my personal favourite being 3, these games are most definitely fun however I was going to delay myself in playing this one until next year purely because I feel most of these games are the same type of thing and I just didn't want to jump back in right away, but after seeing a favourite streamer of mine play the game, ITo begin, I just want to say that I have played FarCry 3, 4 and 5 with my personal favourite being 3, these games are most definitely fun however I was going to delay myself in playing this one until next year purely because I feel most of these games are the same type of thing and I just didn't want to jump back in right away, but after seeing a favourite streamer of mine play the game, I bit the bullet and got the game.

    Gameplay - Well if you have played FarCry 3, 4 or 5, then you will feel right at home here. Nothing has changed in the mechanics of the combat really, you get guns, upgrade the guns and shoot enemies. It is most definitely a fun time but if you have played all the entries of the series that I have, then you might be feeling a little burned out from it after a certain time playing this one. I adopted a stealth approach in this game and killed mostly with a suppressed sniper rifle, I found going all out combat made the game much more difficult so did my best to avoid it.

    Differences - This game is mostly the same as the others. The new additions are backpacks called Supremos that have certain effects like missile launches or health packs, plus Resolver weapons which are quirky guns you can use, I honestly didn't care for this feature too much. There are also Amigos which are pets who can travel alongside you and fight with you, but again, didn't care much for it.

    Visuals - This is a big win for me, I played on a fairly high end PC and felt the game looked absolutely gorgeous at times, particularly the landscapes which is when FarCry looks its best. Take a helicopter up into the sky and just look around, your jaw will drop, it is a stunning game. Everything on the ground looks good too.

    Crashing - I wanted to follow with this as I mentioned having a high end PC but I did experience regular crashes, probably every few hours I would play, I would experience at least one crash and as frustrating as it was, it didn't completely sour my experience of the game. I am not sure how the consoles differ but it is something to just look out for if you are playing on PC.

    Story - The story is basically the exact same thing, you will be doing everything that you were doing in the last games, which is try to free sections of land from a 2nd in command-type leader and taking them out, before eventually going up against the big baddie. In this case it is Anton Castillo who is played by the amazing Giancarlo Esposito, he steals the show whenever he is on screen and I immediately found myself becoming super focused whenever he would appear. I don't think its fair to compare him to other villains of FarCry as he is great in his own way. A big surprise is the main character - Dani, I played as the female version and she was fantastic, she has a great voice actor, is a bit cheeky and a badass, she was probably one of my favourite things from this experience, even just little things like her singing along to the radio music in the car was enough to win me over, very cute. I do feel we get a lot of time with other characters and not nearly as much time with Castillo, they are fine but nothing really to go crazy about, even the other main characters like Juan and Clara weren't all that interesting to me.

    Side Quests - There are a lot of these. You will be doing outposts, artillery takedowns, ambushes and a variety of other things and I did all of these, it will take you a lot of time and I don't recommend doing this if you have played previous games unless you really want to, because I got burned out rather easily after a while because it is mostly the same in this game, and it is the same for all the previous games too. As for other side quests, like side stories, there are those as well and some are really fun and interesting, like a mission where you have to escape from a massive amount of juiced up roosters for example, however in the later end of the game the side quests felt very lazy, you get a few photos on your phone with no marker and you just got to go find a multitude of these particular things to complete it, it becomes very frequent on the third island and wasn't overly fond of it at all. There are also treasure hunts which were my favourite type of side quests, felt like Indiana Jones hunting through caves while finding lore along the way, good stuff.

    Collectibles - There is a lot of stuff to collect, there are hundreds of chests to find that give guns and crafting items, there are roosters to obtain for cock fighting (didn't really care for that), plenty of sheets of paper containing lore etc. It will take you quite a long time to get everything and I didn't bother with the chests to be honest, it just wasn't worth the effort.

    Final Rating - It is a fun game but my biggest complaint is that it just feels more like the same thing and I am a little over the formula. After 52 hours of game time, I am very much ready to move onto something else.    … Expand

    I actually had the impression that I was playing Ghost Recon, but with a first-person view. The main villain here is not a psychopath, as before, but a sadistic cruel dictator. Interesting missions are few, mostly banal, of the template type: deal with the radio towers, deal with the propaganda, release the rebels, etc., etc. This is all we have seen more than once in past parts of the Far Cry and in other series of games from Jubisoft.

    O Supremo, a mochila nas costas do personagem, é total The Division e quem jogou Ghost Recon, vai se sentir jogando Wildlands quando usar os veículos aéreos e o nível de ameaça aumentar.

    Mas o jogo é ruim por causa disso? Absolutamente não. Tanto o mix de culturas latinas, ambientação maravilhosa e a melhor trilha sonora da franquia toda dão pitadas de novidade ao game.

    Dessa vez o protagonista tem uma personalidade mais marcante, mas achei o vilão menos inspirado que os anteriores. Os Far Cry sempre foram algo meio alucinado e fora da curva com relação ao antagonista, mas no 6 senti que ele é o mais "normal" que eu já vi nos últimos jogos.

    E a história é interessante, e até arranha a superfície do que é ser um revolucionário, lutar contra um regime autoritário, mas não dá tempo de se engajar nas motivações dos personagens.

    Porém, acho que nem deveríamos levar muito a sério a história já que esse título não é para ser um RPG, onde vc vai ter N ramificações da história, escolhas morais, etc.
    No final vc sente que faltou uns 30% a mais de campanha pra evoluir tanto o Antón como o filho dele. Mas novamente, não é um RPG, é pra ser tiro porrada e bomba sem pensar demais.

    O maior defeito desse game é isso: fica reciclando mecânicas no lugar de propor algo realmente diferente e tornar a narrativa mais complexa e ramificada, com mais personagens e mais missões únicas.

After playing a few hours I spoiled all my mood and cursed your producer in all his mesa. And after this crap, on Monday, you think with what mood I went to work!     The biggest problem with Far Cry 6 is that it is not interesting to do what is necessary and kill several dozen of the same soldiers over and over again. It would be better not to play it at all. The last decent part of the series was Far Cry 4, it's better to try it again than to waste time on a new ubisoft game. I don't recommend it.

    Running 11900K with a 3090 at 4K max settings without issues. Few collision problems where the companion gets trapped under a vehicle but that’s about it.

    This felt like a complete rework of FC5 with different names and ruined with a poor unbelievable storyline. The entire game is nothing more than a left wing SJW/Woke disaster. It’s almost like they designed and wrote this game to cater to the SJW LGBTQ population and completely making every aspect of the game completely out of touch with reality. The revolution is a group of Trans LGBTQ club goers.
    The Army is more female soldiers than male making it that much more unrealistic to top it all off. This is a leftwing feminist, socialist and LGBTQ game start to finish and it really confirms that no company or franchise is safe from the pressures of the woke community. We truly live in strange times and society is becoming so overwhelmed by a minority group that is hellbent on corrupting everything to comply with a lifestyle. Television is ruined by it and now the game industry is fast becoming ruined by it as well.

Fighting tanks in your pink tanktop: check; getting hyped and making party because of civil war and crimes against humanity: check; weird concert on a rooftop in nowhere with pretty **** music, that made my ears bleed: check; LGBTQ in your face the least inclusive and most ridiculously staged way possible: check.
    The guns all feel very light with very little impact on enemies, mgs are like paintguns, pewpewpew. Bodies will allways stay complete and vehicle destruction is very lazy: smoke->fire->completely desroyed, Even explosion are lacking impact. You can use the first legendary Pistol for the whole game, because it is that easy. There is bo need to explore the island and noincentive to do so. Only things you can find are lackluster clothes you don´t care about and more guns you don´t care about.
    Biggest issue by far is he world and the ai in it. Spawning of enemies in your field of view just blending or ploppin in, is very lazy work and plays like clay pigeon shooting. The ai is stupid beyond belief. Ai is so badly programmed that if you shoot someone out of a group of soldiers from far away all the soldados are running in your direction. Neither checking where that shot came from nor hiding. They instanly know the correct direction, but can´t spot you until they are close to you. That is the same **** or even worse ai than in far cry 5 and Ubisoft once did it far better with far cry 2. The ai is never a thread in this game, except you land with your parachute in an open field between 20 or more soldados.
    Physics are getting worse each game in the series, and those that are in the game have no influece to your gameplay. If it´s sunny you use your sniper to shoot enemies from far away, if there is a thnderstorm you... no.... you can do the exact same thing. That is stupid and lazy, feels like not a single person in the development team cared about gameplay influence of any grphic effect.
    Immersion is also really bad because u have to activate every Mission in a Mission screen that completely pulls you out of the experience, your map is only available over the menu not as a real thing in the game.
    Coming to the last and but alost the biggest problem: performance and technology. The game is based on the aged Dunia engine 2, which was developed in 2007 loosely based on cry engine 1 from 2002, and updated to version 2 in 2012. The year if amd bulldozers and intel 3rd generation cpus. Therefore it is not a miracle the game isrunning very poorly on modern pc systems, heavilyusing only one of all available cores of the cpu. In addition to that the texture streaming on PCs has serious issues, sometimes working ok, sometimes stops working after 5 minutes or half an hour or sometimes does not work at all. If it´s not working you are playing with some models in the lowest possible resolution, making the game look like it is from 2007 or something. Implementation of TAA is incorrect and the image gets very blurry with it. msaa is missing completly and fxaa is just bad. On 1080p you have the choice of ladders or a LOT of blur.
    I played every far cry game so far, but i won´t buy the next if they don´t change a lot. That game is running even worse on my System than Cyberpunk did at release.

    Une campagne insipide qu'on ne retiendra pas, des missions "fed ex" copié coller qui senchaine sans envie.. les courses de véhicule anecdotique avec simplement des chekcpoint a passer, l'ia est débile, les enemies pop no stop dans les zones sans que l'on comprenne pourquoi. La méta est inexistante. Vous comprendrez vite qu'un silencieux et une balle dans la tête vous permettent de finir le jeux en mode difficile sans aucun soucis.

    Graphiquement le jeux est quand meme un peu vilain, pas mal de probleme de texture, les tir effet sur les bouteilles sur lequel on peut tirer est ridicule en 2021. Les reflets existe avec un moteur maison mais pourquoi pas de raytracing ? Il est présent sur d'autre jeux d'ubi ? Une histoire d'argent et de temps on imagine.

    La personnalisation des armes et des tenues est anecdotique le jeu nous incite a changer son équipement tenues + armes en fonctions de la mission que l'on s'apprête a faire et des ennemies que l'on pourrais rencontrer mais qui se prendra la tête a se point sur un jeux qui se veut être un juste cause en plus sage.

    Un jeu qui une nouvelle fois tombera rapidement dans l'oublie. Il n'apporte rien de nouveaux, rien d'incroyable c'est un jeu fast food quand on y joue on se dit que c'est ok que c'est pas si vilain et quand on éteint son ordi ou sa console on se dit qu'on a perdu du temps sur un truc pas si ouf au final, on regrette..    … Expand

    I would have given a 6 because sometimes it's kind of fun, but alas the game is dragged down by wokeness. Every character, every scene or movie, is littered with it. The further you progress in the game, the more it gets like this.

    Men bad, men weak, men evil, men cowards. Women strong and good. Gay and trans is also very good.     - The characters in the game are so extremely forgettable, unrelatable and out of touch with what's going on. It's about overthrowing a dictator which is a serious thing, yet we get these ridiculous allies less mature than my kids - totally breaks immersion.
    - The side content stuff has all been done before in previous games. Copy paste.
    - There are too many ammo types - I don't need poison and fire rounds for example. it just complicates things without reason.
    - The resource system is unnecessarily confusing. Why do I need to gather meds, gasoline, metal, gunpowder, yaran pesos etc etc... it's enough with 1 resource + money. Complicating things just for the sake of it serves no purpose.
    - Skill trees were removed which I don't understand. I want to start out being weak, then "earning" skills by playing the game.
    - The RPG mechanics with leveling system and weapon quality does not fit a Far Cry game in my opinion. I also don't want to have to think about using the right ammo type for all enemies I'm facing. Not realistic and breaks immersion.
    - I don't believe in the goal I'm fighting for. Like, one **** dictator to be replaced by the **** head maniacs on my side while also destroying the anti-cancer plants in the process? It's not a positive trade.
    - Main character is unrelatable.
    -AI is **** but they have aimbot

    Gets a 3/10 just because it looks kinda good and Gus is in it.

    For the next title, they have to take a serious look at what made Far Cry 3 so good, and take inspiration from that. Good villain, character was relatable because he was out of place but had to adapt to a crazy new situation. Good upgrade path, great story and obviously it felt fresh.    … Expand

Все снаряжение спрятано исключительно в ящиках, ну и купить еще можно (если конечно ты построил и улучшил нужное здание в лагере, а для этого насобирал ресурсов). Ни получить в качестве награды за задание, ни взять с трупа врага.

    Управление транспортом, по-прежнему, неудобное, особенно не советую на танке пытаться развернуться на месте...
    Способности привязали к одежде, плюс сами способности бредовые. Как штаны могут дать возможность автоматически (!) ремонтировать транспорт при нахождении в нем? И прочий бред.

    Из плюсов только стрельба и система модификации оружия.

    The fact that all native Italians are used to and know that Far Cry is broadcast in Italian - I have come to terms with this. But what an ugly story about sectarians and dictators.. It looks like a game of the 2000s and clones of policemen who are constantly being reborn from nowhere.. Similar missions.. XD is a game just a cheap job and nothing more... The worst episode is number 6..

    This is IMHO the wort episode of the FAR CRY series.
    AI is extremely dumb, physics make no sense, story is BS, GFX not state of the art....
    UBISOFT just did the minimum to sell this game....one can feel the laziness of the devs.

It takes what is great about thé Far Cry series : a gigantic open-world, lots of ways to travel (helicopters, planes, boats, cars, horses) and a gorgeous landscape. It removed the bothering skills tree to replace it with equipment related perks. The cutscenes are finally nice to watch ! And, what I consider to be a revolution that completely changed thé game in thé best way possible : your character finally has a voice and a personality. Which allows thé cutscenes to reach a level that don’t have anything to envy the GTA franchise. The game is sometimes funny, sometimes sad but every time good to pay interest to. I would recommend 100% to anyone.… Expand

    The game reflects perfectly Ubisoft approach to all its games. Far Cry is now being another franchise set to make a lot of money through aggressive marketing while investing only a fraction of the budget into game development.

    Messy graphics, crafting is gone, player perks are gone, empty very superficial story (felt like an interactive story instead of an game), way too easy (only two difficulty levels), No progression system (you can get best weapon within 1 hour after start), Amigos (companions) don't work / are useless, AI is worse than ever, list goes on and on...     It's a great Far Cry installment. Of course, the game has some rough edges, but generally speaking the game is really fun. Set in a gigantic tropical open world, with really well designed characters and a decent story, I really like it.

Only thing that remains grindy is unlocking the supremos (backpacks / ultimates / whatever you wanna call them) and modifying your weapons, but generally speaking it's very forgiving.

    Tl;dr: Decent game, huge world, great characters, sometimes a bit rough, but all in all justified price tag.    … Expand

    1. "The Division" crap, bullet sponge enemies, gear levels and grinding    And yet another game is ruined by Ubisht, they had to stuff "The Division" crap into every game now, they didnt learn from GR:Breakpoint and took them a year to rework it, also never learned from WD:Legion which is a flop with the same crap, now they ruined this game, let me tell you whats wrong with this game:

    1. "The Division" crap, bullet sponge enemies, gear levels and grinding fest.
    2. in restricted areas outside of a mission mainly, enemies keep spawning while you are at it, its not like you clear the area and come back for them to respawn, they keep spawning while clearing the area, you cannot liberate the area and get rid of enemies for good, only checkpoints are cleared and taken, but other areas will still be restricted even if you cleared it.
    3. no skills, now its up to the gear you are wearing, lets say you need bullet proof endurance, you have to equip a crap that has this option, but you need fire endurance as well, then you need to equip another gear for it, so you cannot have both, you can measure this behavior on stamina, health and so on.
    4. as stated in first point about "The Division" crap, enemies have levels, even their vehicles have levels too, if you are below enemy level and shot a helicopter, enemy, tank,... with an RPG, it will be a walk in the park, no actual damage or minimal damage is done.
    5. vehicles are not unlocked by clearing camps/checkpoints, you have to steal it and ride it to any base location that have vehicles call support for it to be unlocked for you
    6. chests everywhere, the grinding in this game is extreme.
    7. Detection system (Enemy AI) is so bad, but well its the same with every Ubi game.

    those are the main issues with the game, i hated FC:New Dawn because it had somehow similar mechanics and many players complained about it, instead of making FC 6 better, they went full scale with the same crap with it.

    Message to Ubisht: STOP STUFFING "THE DIVISION" CRAP INTO EVERY DAMN GAME, its not fun, it doesnt work and you are ruining good games, i know you are obsessed with The Witcher 3 and want to copy it in every game until you get a hit but you are doing it wrong and like idiots with every game, you dont have to change the whole game play mechanics for people to buy the game, the most important part of the game is the story and plot, then a dynamic world with fun activities and not a repetition of the same missions, and last IF IT AINT BROKEN, DONT FIX IT!!!!!    … Expand

Antagonist is the best part of the game hands down but they start shoehorning **** in after killing off the best NPCs while leaving you with the annoying trash to quest for.     Far Cry finally got rid of the most annoying bits (like the infamous towers), but that’s pretty much the extent of the series’ progress. Far Cry 6 doesn’t improve on the core concept in any way. Still, all the expected mechanics work as advertised and keep the game above the line.

    Far Cry 6 is a work that strives for progress while maintaining stability. There are ancestral gameplays of the series that have not been outdated, and some system optimizations and improvements that keep pace with the times. In general, it is still a familiar formula and a familiar taste.

    Upon reaching the end of this review, I’ve come away with a revelation. Yes, Far Cry 6 is the accumulated chemical detritus from years of similar lab experiments, layered and stratified, compounded with time and pressure. But it isn’t a catalyst. I am. I played Far Cry 6 to completion: I pressed buttons to shoot guns and progress the plot; I killed an inordinate number of animals to buy upgrades; I equipped new pairs of pants to make myself stealthier. And at the end of it all, I felt nothing. I was unchanged by the experience.
