    By far one of the worst Ubisoft games I ever played, best weapon is the starter pistol, no incentive to upgrade anything and the story is more bland than unseasoned overcooked chicken.

    Besides that the game is even more inconsistent than before when it comes to how gameplay elements work, buttons sometimes seem to not work but then it's simply a tiny little loading bar underneath that    By far one of the worst Ubisoft games I ever played, best weapon is the starter pistol, no incentive to upgrade anything and the story is more bland than unseasoned overcooked chicken.

    If you liked prior FC games this one is more of the same but with a bigger world and options of toys. Story was cool, love the character Dani and the gangster Juan madlad. El Tigre is my dude and Chicharone is Chicharone. I love the liberdad life, message, and with the global climate it seems very appropriate and well done. World is big and graphics are beautiful. Good variety of gunsIf you liked prior FC games this one is more of the same but with a bigger world and options of toys. Story was cool, love the character Dani and the gangster Juan madlad. Good variety of guns and combos. Was super easy to get way overleveled though and if you play sneaky one difficulty makes the game super easy if you're a decent shot. No hard mode so you have to make your own fun playing suboptimally. Finally, stop with all the woke **** I would have did an 8 or 9 if not for that. I don't care that someone was bi, trans, or a crossdresser. If you were being ruled by an evil authoritarian madman I doubt your sexuality would be a big part of your life. All that crap feels very unnecessary and crammed in to avoid any backlash for feelings from a vocal minority. Get woke go broke is the theme and had I known about the lame stuff going into it I wouldnt have subb'd to Ubi+ to try.… Expand

    I played it a little and I absolutely love it. Graphics great, optimization great. Paradise island. It's same far cry as all previous parts but different and it's exactly what we need. I don't understand why so much negative reviews. I'll update review after I'll finish the game. By the way in my opinion previous Far Cry New Dawn was absolutely amazing

    I made a mistake buying this piece of crap =( I was lured by Cuba like setting. Same old far cry 3 mechanics with ps1 enemy physics, ai and shooting mechanics. Same ol map with million of repetitive dull missions. I think AAA game development died. We have no talented game developers left....rip

    Far cry 6 uses lots animations, guns and mechanics from far cry 5. Which i'm not a big fan. But most of these are fine. You can clearly see that they have put more effort on this game then far cry 6. B

Apart from the insane hardware requirements, the game has maybe a gazillion of - not bugs - but examples of bad design. A few examples: Clear a base and watch the soldiers respawn after a few minutes completely unaware of the dead bodies around them. Attack soldiers in the field and shouldOne of the worst FC games. Your pet croc (ohh how funny - not!) is supposed to only attack when ordered to however, the soldiers are able to see it, but dont attack it - since you haven't ordered the croc to engage! I could go on and on and on, but 'nuff said... get FC 3, 4 or 5 (they're not exactly good, but way, way, waaaayyy better than this PoS) or play them again, but avoid this disaster of a game!… Expand

    They went way overboard with shoehorning in political messages whenever they could. 80% of the protagonists, the people who give you missions, are women, which would be fine if their male counterparts didn't all have some BS character fault. All    "The American Dream doesn't come in our color." Tell that to the thousands of Cuban refugees who actually fled Cuba and have realized that dream.
    They went way overboard with shoehorning in political messages whenever they could. 80% of the protagonists, the people who give you missions, are women, which would be fine if their male counterparts didn't all have some BS character fault. All the men are drunks, idiots, or sheer incompetents.
    The game does have creative missions once you swallow the political stuff, but the overdramatic 'stealth' kills take way too long and often gain way too much attention, unlike how they were in previous installments.
    This game is almost as much an abortion as New Dawn. Please stop ruining this series with your pathetic pejorative pandering.    … Expand

    An extremely unimpressive addition to Ubisofts ever expanding library of unimaginative games. Fun can be found in the first couple of hours, so if you can get it for free then absolutely give it a try, but what fun you will find will be surface deep.

Да, стелс плоховат, но в этом есть своя изюминка. Открытый мир живой и не пустой, наполненный кучей событий, этот мир интересно исследовать и даже просто прогуливаться, наслаждаясь красотой игры.     Просто потрясающе! Одна из лучших частей франшизы! Обожаю кубинский сеттинг и огромный прекрасный мир! Очень радует свобода действий и количество контента, очень нравится исследовать мир, любоватся красотами и животными, искать все сундуки и коллекционки, покупать новые предметы и оружие!!! Жалко гринда очень мало, хотелось бы побольше времени повести в игре! С удовольствием выбью платинуПросто потрясающе! Одна из лучших частей франшизы! Обожаю кубинский сеттинг и огромный прекрасный мир! Очень радует свобода действий и количество контента, очень нравится исследовать мир, любоватся красотами и животными, искать все сундуки и коллекционки, покупать новые предметы и оружие!!!     This game really is not ready for release. I'm only three hour in and its just hilarious and frustrating at the same time. The story is just ridiculous and thankfully it doesn't take itself very serious. Bugs are everywhere (like all Ubi games at launch, they really don't learn anything). No saves but just checkpoints is absurd in a 'open world' game. I can't even save before I know it'sThis game really is not ready for release. A unarmoured guard takes like 8-10 bullets from a machine gun.. What is this? An RPG?

    I honestly knew this game would be bad the second the game loaded for the 'second' time after a timeout issue which prevented the game from loading the first time, the very first mission being a stealth mission that you cannot be seen at all otherwise instant death which should have been so much better to set the pace moving forward but proves to be more frustrating.

    A step backwards from Far Cry 5 which is unfortunate but usually expected after a good earlier release to live up too, and FC6 does not. Many bugs and issues hold the game back as well as absolutely poor flying/aircraft controls which is unforgivable because FC5 had quite good control methods for aircraft whilst FC6 has abysmal controls, even some ground vehicles like the hovercraft are an absolute chore to drive and even simple things like auto-drive barely work!

    Feels like it tries to borrow heavily from games like Wildlands and the Just Cause series and just fails in almost every department even though on paper, the concept is sound. The story is a bit cliche but what isn't these days? Your typical despot dictator and you're part of a revolution to bring peace to an ailing country, throw in tons of vehicles, bases to capture and dozens of collectables aka the usual Ubisoft open world recipe and in theory the game should be pretty playable, but Far Cry 6 suffers greatly in so many areas that is just doesn't work very well at all.

    The bandito submissions are always absolutely terrible and basically are similar to a mobile/facebook style game where you select a leader, wait several "REAL TIME" hours for the mission to start, and these can be pretty long, and the timing counts down even when your offline with maximum time for you to come back otherwise the mission is cancelled, for example the most common is a 1hr timer for the mission to start, with 12 hours or so for the player to start the mission before its automatically cancelled.

    The gunplay is subpar too, and early in the game you like any firepower to fighting helios is a literal borefest since you can't headshot the pilots, don't get me wrong...it has some good ideas that borrow heavily from games like wildlands but fails to capitalize on any of those ideas.

    The bugs and issues in the game are also a huge problem, occasionally the game doesn't even load and timeouts and heads back to the menu, often requiring several attempts to load your save game. Couple that even auto-drive issues, terrible AI, overpowered enemy helicopters and armor.

    If you are new to this franchise, do yourself a huge favor and skip this one and get Far Cry 3 and Far Cry 5, easily the best in the series, this is a complete failure.    … Expand

    что же, у игры много глупостей, на подобе того, что можно переделать винтовку на бронебойные патроны, но общее кол-во с оружием на других патронах будет одинаковым (типа оружие начинает уметь само делать из обычных патронов - бронебойные). Отошел на два метра от блок поста или воен базы, все солдаты появляются заново, ей богу половина проблем копия из фар край 2, а они не учатся на своихчто же, у игры много глупостей, на подобе того, что можно переделать винтовку на бронебойные патроны, но общее кол-во с оружием на других патронах будет одинаковым (типа оружие начинает уметь само делать из обычных патронов - бронебойные). Отошел на два метра от блок поста или воен базы, все солдаты появляются заново, ей богу половина проблем копия из фар край 2, а они не учатся на своих ошибках. Как-то больше реализма в окружающий мир хочется, а тут чушь как в поделках студентов за пару недель творится(((… Expand

    Absolute tragedy of a game, I stopped playing after a few days I couldn't take it. The story was awful, the NPCs had ZERO personality or likability, and the setting/map just wasn't fun. The game devs seemed like they wanted to force their diversity quota rather than write a compelling story. Helicopters controls didn't work at all on PC with a mouse to make things even more frustrating.Absolute tragedy of a game, I stopped playing after a few days I couldn't take it. The map is huge, the missions, side missions, side content, different kinds of outposts, checkpoints, and everything are very varied and fun to do. Im 36 hours in and im barely done with 33% of the map. The whole game is an improvement over FC5, which was paired with FC3 for my favorite games. This is nowBest Far Cry game ever. Dont listen to all the other losers who didnt play the game. The map is huge, the missions, side missions, side content, different kinds of outposts, checkpoints, and everything are very varied and fun to do. Im 36 hours in and im barely done with 33% of the map. The whole game is an improvement over FC5, which was paired with FC3 for my favorite games. This is now my favorite Far Cry. The gunplay is very fun and satisfying, and you need to be smart with different ammo types and weak spots or else youll end up complaining about bullet sponges like other morons on here. Some of the qorst cading and glitching and not in a fun way **** Dead enemies shooting from the souls of hell. Boats that die, enemies that respawn just as they die. In the best world this isnt even a beta game and we should all get a refund. Boycot all future far cry games from here on out join the rally as qe shut them down from here on out and join up to lrevwnt future coah cow gaming companies producing trash demand a refund.… Expand

    Thankfully this game was provided freely with a CPU purchase... Graphics are "okay" (i.e. up to that generation of games), but the gameplay is horrendous. Repetitive copypasta missions, convoluted mini-econ management, super shallow characters, and all around pretty buggy. This was overmarketed with Giancarlo's participation (who's almost absent from the game), this game will be easily forgotten.

    I am a huge fan of Far Cry. Played first game as a child in elementary and played all others since. This installment, however, somehow managed to reach top spot in two of my games lists:
    - It is the most boring, shallow, exhausting and generally uninteresting game, I have ever played
    - It is the only game, that I`ve ever played, where I didn`t like a single character. From main character    I am a huge fan of Far Cry. Played first game as a child in elementary and played all others since. This installment, however, somehow managed to reach top spot in two of my games lists:

From main character to any and all guerillas, they are all **** silver spooned, toxic, dumb (I mean REALLY dumb), arrogant, impulsive and generally unlikable **** EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. Way to go PC **** culture..

    Anyways:

    - The main bad guy is weak, not a real maniac, a fact, not even Espozito can change.
    - Henchmen are completely forgettable, annoying and ridiculous (instead of terrifying) simpletons.
    - None of the story mission makes any sense or is interesting in any way.
    - The entire world of Yara is boring and generally not worth exploring.
    - The game is a mash up of Division, Assassins Creed, Ghost Recon and Rainbow Six, resulting in this installment having no identity at all.
    - Removal of the skill tree system, is a fine way of taking away a big part of identity of the series; why not removing wingsuit in next installment, right?
    - The absolutely worst part of the game is, it`s difficulty. This game is so easy, that it`s almost impossible to lose a fight and with removed difficulty setting (and option to change weapons loadout AT.ANY.TIME), this game is, by far, the very easiest game from Far Cry series. Some may even call it boring..

    P.S.: Dear, Ubisoft, if your New Down and its mechanics were unlikable **** up, that did not find any fan base and only angered long time Far Cry fanbase, why the **** would you use mechanics from that **** up for your new main installment?

    Please, keep in mind, that it`s fine to have multiple franchises, that are different from one another, mixing them up into one big **** up will only result in, wait for it.. a **** UP.

    - The only resource that really matters in the end is gunpowder. Everything else will be thrown at you

    Pros:
    - The world is beautiful, detailed and fun to explore
    - The gunplay feels good

    Asset popping and draw distance is horrendous....most notable when using the phone to scope out enemy bases...you have to walk dangerously close for the character models to appear - and that running on ultra with a 3080ti.

    Using the HD texture pack and FSR causes textures in rocks to corrupt.

    Absolute mess of a game....and that's giving it some leeway for the fact that the previous games have had issues upon release.    … Expand

    With my AMD Radeon 6900 XT and FidelityFX turned on ultra quality, I can easily play this game butterily smooth with all settings cranked up to Ultra even with DXR shadows and reflections on at 4K resolution. The visual quality is good enough, but I have seen much better looking games.

    I really like buddies. They are super cool and you will enjoy playing with them for sure. When I    With my AMD Radeon 6900 XT and FidelityFX turned on ultra quality, I can easily play this game butterily smooth with all settings cranked up to Ultra even with DXR shadows and reflections on at 4K resolution. The visual quality is good enough, but I have seen much better looking games.

    I really like buddies. They are super cool and you will enjoy playing with them for sure.

    When I compare this game with Far Cry 3 for example, it is big downhill for sure and when I am playing this game for couple of hours, I often feel that I am wasting my time, I don't know why. It just feels too repetitive, but it is still fun to some point.

    Pizza guys should learn how to speak English. I am also not complaining that many games are not in my native language hahah...

    This game is really nothing special. I would say that I have mixed feeling about this, so that's why I will give it 4 points out of 10

    Just a big map with the same repetition and the same thing with no variety of everything and you'll be doing the same thing for a hundred hours - History is disgusting for 2021 to the point of horror.

I don't know what "genius" thought this was a great idea over at Ubisoft but it's exactly the opposite of what you do to get people to want to play your game more.     You always do the same. There is no need anymore to hunt, do side missions. Nothing makes a difference. It's just a boring gameplay loop with almost no real story. Also it makes no difference with which "Area" you start. Nothing that you do affects anyone or makes any difference.

    Для меня эта часть лучшая в серии потому, что геймплей лучший в серии, сюжет чутка хуже чем в 3 и 4, но лучше чем в 5, кубинский сеттинг понравился больше чем в 4 и в 5.     This is the best far cry game with a very good story driven quests that will immerse you. every moment from the sound design to NPC, you will feel like you are living in this world.     the charakters are so annoyingly bad, everthing is full with woke politics, dont like the rpg-mechanics the enemies are bulletspongy, overalls a worse experience than the last far cry games.
    the gunplay in the later gameand hit feedback feels good at least.
    PLEASE KEEP POLITICS AND RPG MECHANICS OUT OF FAR CRY GAMES UBISOFT!

    Far Cry finally got rid of the most annoying bits (like the infamous towers), but that’s pretty much the extent of the series’ progress. Far Cry 6 doesn’t improve on the core concept in any way. Still, all the expected mechanics work as advertised and keep the game above the line.

    Far Cry 6 is a work that strives for progress while maintaining stability. There are ancestral gameplays of the series that have not been outdated, and some system optimizations and improvements that keep pace with the times. In general, it is still a familiar formula and a familiar taste.

    Upon reaching the end of this review, I’ve come away with a revelation. Yes, Far Cry 6 is the accumulated chemical detritus from years of similar lab experiments, layered and stratified, compounded with time and pressure. But it isn’t a catalyst. I am. I played Far Cry 6 to completion: I pressed buttons to shoot guns and progress the plot; I killed an inordinate number of animals to buy upgrades; I equipped new pairs of pants to make myself stealthier. And at the end of it all, I felt nothing. I was unchanged by the experience.
