    I love to play with friends because it was just what I wanted from the time after the release of Skyrim: a classic RPG Bethesda playable cooperatively.

    With all the possibilities to buy this game at a reduced price you risk falling into the ridicule by giving 0-3 as a vote. It has solid gameplay, a well-functioning multiplayer and the game involves.

    Clearly like all the games the first phase presents bugs and lack of optimizations. Not to mention that, despite the micro-transaction system, the importance is not felt at all and only those graphic skins that can be purchased can be obtained simply by completing objectives: daily, weekly and various.

    It is clear that who played the B.E.T.A., which, as you may have guessed, is a beta, can not complain about the bugs or problems encountered or the day-one patch. This is exactly what the beta needed, to test the game and, therefore, those who criticized this version of the game should withdraw the review and evaluate the full game.

    The complete game has problems, but they do not preclude playability and, above all with performing PCs, the problems are much smaller. Solution for those with less performing PCs? Lower the graphics. Why yes, the graphics look like Fallout 4, but it's not, it's better, maybe we expected more, but it's better.

    So whoever does not have the game, or just played the beta, or is only here to bury the title goes away.    … Expand

    I just asked Bethesda for a refund. I did not participate in the Beta so this review is based on the game at launch. The underlying mechanics of this game are almost identical to Fallout 4 which is both good and bad. I really enjoyed Fallout 4 and don't mind too much if Bethesda reuses that model for a new game. However, it is exactly the same as Fallout 4 and, after playing games likeI just asked Bethesda for a refund. I did not participate in the Beta so this review is based on the game at launch. The underlying mechanics of this game are almost identical to Fallout 4 which is both good and bad. I really enjoyed Fallout 4 and don't mind too much if Bethesda reuses that model for a new game. However, it is exactly the same as Fallout 4 and, after playing games like Assassin's Creed Odyssey and Red Dead Redemption 2, this feels very antiquated. That said, there are a few things that made this game unplayable for me.

    The survival aspect is a complete nuisance. I felt like my game experience was constantly interrupted by starvation and dehydration. Frustrated, I took it upon myself to gather a ton of food and water so I could "survive" while exploring. Unfortunately, this filled up my inventory weight limit and I was unable to do any looting without becoming over encumbered. I'm sure there are strategies to balance looting with eating and drinking but I do not play Fallout games to learn how to juggle.

    The stash weight limit combined with a fee for fast travel caused inventory management to consume a large percentage of my play time. I like to loot everything until my inventory is full so I have plenty of crafting materials. Of course, my inventory filled up very quickly since I also grabbed all the food and water I could find. I needed to make several trips back to my C.A.M.P. to unload my junk. However, with the fee for fast travel, I often found my self running all the way back to where I was exploring. I reached my stash limit after only exploring a couple areas. Trying to make this work, I learned that junk needs to be scrapped before adding to the stash. This requires a crafting station which are few and far between if you don't have plans to craft one at your C.A.M.P. I eventually built crafting stations when I moved my C.A.M.P. to a new location which caused a whole new set of problems.

    I spent a couple hours building a C.A.M.P. in a new location. This revealed several problems. The terrain quickly became the most formidable adversary in the game. I was building on a hill near rocks and trees. I had to tear down and rebuild at least 20 times because pieces could not be placed near certain terrain. I finally just had to accept an incomplete building with missing walls or floors. After all this work the server kicked me out. After continuing the game in a new instance, my C.A.M.P. was gone and the entire structure was "stored". My C.A.M.P. location was no longer available, I had to pay to set up a new C.A.M.P., and I wasn't allowed to "place" my previous structure anywhere in my new location. I spent another couple hours building a new C.A.M.P. only to have that one gone the next time I played. This was enough for me to quit playing and ask for refund.

    Multiplayer did more harm than good. I was hoping for some sort of hybrid between Fallout 4 and Elder Scrolls Online. Unfortunately, multiplayer felt underdeveloped and very limited. I think Bethesda made the mistake of trying to slap a multiplayer mod into Fallout 4 rather than developing something new that combined the best of both worlds.

    I have seen counters against negative reviews using the shallow argument that criticism is just from "haters" afraid of change. I'm sure Bethesda is mature enough to recognize the irony in that line of thinking. I'm sure they will acknowledge the disappointment underlying the negative reviews and produce a much better product in the future.    … Expand

You constantly and I do mean constantly need to work on your inventory, I enter a small building which is not even marked on the map and when I leave I need 15 minutes to sort everything out. This had no relation to fun on roleplaying or anything, this is just atrocious. I only have 4 weapons which none of them are heavy machine guns or missile launchers and still I'm getting pawned my the carry capacity. My stash is also full now and before you start - All my junk is scrapped before moving it and I only have 3 power armor frames stashed.

    I have encountered 3 broken quests at this time (which is no more than 15 hours playing) - "Bureau of Tourism" which I have a link to a video capture I've made and the "Ounce of Prevention" quest where I literally have a floating quest marker which leads nowhere in between the two houses at Greg’s Mine Supply, unfortunately I didn't capture this one but you get the point. While Reddit were giving me the 24 hours of authentication time, I found another broken quest "Initiate of Mysteries" which I linked to a video I uploaded to YouTube.

    Enemies popping into existence out of nowhere - Happened to me so many times I don't even know what to say! You finish ridding the world of critters or ghouls or scorched and while I'm exploring the place, they respawn, I mean pop in right on top of me! Same level! Same loot! Same everything!

    Quests that just force themselves on my screen constantly! I just walk past some place and somehow my character knows to go in and look for something? Fine. But I DO NOT want that in my face on the HUD immediately, plus it produces a quest marker which confuses the f*** out of me and I've walked in the wrong direction before realizing my mistake too many times!

    And lastly, the world feels so empty and lifeless, I've never been so bored of first impressions! I literally forced myself to play 5 hours just now, and from crafting bench to stash box to broken quests to lifeless quest givers (If any at all) - I gotta say I've NEVER BEEN MORE DISAPPOINTED IN MY LIFE!

    This isn't worth the money, I would much rather put my money into Hitman 2 or RDR2.    … Expand

    I LOVE Fallout....but this...crash after crash which resets quests that you're working on, items and camps that disappear which kill any motivation to continue playing the game. This game is not a polished or even a finished product.     Great exploration game. Big map, no level cap, a lot of perks and many different monsters. Fun to play solo and with friends. Combat is similar to F4 which is good.

    Great Game Makes So Much Fun. Such A Beautiful Detailed World To Explore. Even As a True Singleplayer Fallout Fan. And The Comuinity Is Just Great. No Trolls Just People Having Fun Playing the Game. Its Just Great And Fun to play

    This isn't a classical fallout game, But that might not be a bad thing. It has borrowed things from Fallout most people enjoy, such as environmental storytelling good exploration and enjoyable quests. The only problem i face is, is that no NPC's limits some quests and makes some quests really shallow. Most quests are really fun but its still a Bethesda game so a buggy mess can be expected.This isn't a classical fallout game, But that might not be a bad thing. Игра соответственно тоже не знает про такое разрешение и приходится самому лезть в файл настройки, прописывать разрешение, FOV, убирать размыливание текстур.     Выйдя же на улицу мы видим такой прекрасный мир, слегка тронутый осенними красками, дома чуть постарели, вода слегка фонит, но в остальном то жить можно. И что начинают делать наши герои? Эврика! Искать ядерную ракету, чтоб доделать то, что не сделали коммунисты.
    Нам тут хотят предоставить новую оригинальную игру, но на самом деле уже все придумали до них. Под видом новой игры подсунули ARK: Survival, на движке Скайрима. Заметьте, не Fallot 5 а небольшое дополнение работающее кое как и за цену полноценной Fallot 4.

    Das schlechtese Spiel von Bethesda was es je gab. Dir Grafik ist von anno dazumal und nicht mehr zeitgemäß. Die Welt wirkt leer und einfach nur langweilig. Ich habe nach 4 Stunden Zocken schon keinen Bock mehr gehabt, mir weitere Holobänder anzuhören. Einfach nur ÖDE !

    - CAMP-System ist sehr gut umgesetzt...
    - Ichs tehe am Anfang und weiss jetzt schon, ich kann noch viel erleben, dass ist super...
    - Gute Arbeit und viele positive gute Umsetzung, da könnte sich noch viele Entwickler was abschauen.
    - Tolle und gut vertonte Holobänder, cool, (Inmal finden würde aber reichen, Smile ^^

    Hätte noch vieles was man Positives schreiben könnte...
    Macht weiter so und lasst es auf keinen Fall im stich das Spiel, es ist ein sehr gutes Spiel und was man hier ja nicht sehen kann, wer spielt das Spiel wirklich und wie lange.
    Diese Negativen bewertungen sind nicht gerecht dem Spiel gegenüber.

    Ich habe hier jetzt einfach schreiben wollen, weil ich von den negativen Sturm gehört habe, sonnst hätte ich garnicht geschrieben.
    Denke viele Leute die auch spielen sind vom Spiel auch überzeugt und wollen weiter Inhalt bekommen, Updates und Spass haben.
    Und mal Ehrlich, sind ja nur etwas über tausend bewertungen und logisch sind es welche die Düpiert sind, ha ha ha...
    Wie viele Spiel wurden verkauft?
    Ich hoffe einfach nicht, dass sich die Magaziene und Spieletester zu diesem Negativ stehen wollen, nur weil sie vor der Community, welche ein kleiner Teil aufschreit, die nicht auch noch bei sich haben wollen mit Negativem, wäre nur peinlich.

    Nice multiplayer version of fallout 4, its not the sequel to the series. some glitches that devs are looking and fixing. enjoyed playing this game. Community is great IMO.

    The game is boring, hot keys control are not common and very annoying (constantly mix up tab with escape), no pause to think, no clear goal what to do next, just wandering as a homeless an collect empty cans.

    And moreover? why the hell I can't get a refund???

    Played for a few hours and the world is empty, boring and has very repetitive quests. No Human NPC's and very little carry weight and storage weight not enough for a game that requires you to collect lots of scrap it fills up fast and you don't want to drop anything as you need it to craft and build so your left with no option but to stop exploring and just sit on the junk you have. thePlayed for a few hours and the world is empty, boring and has very repetitive quests. The PC port uses the same controls as the console and they didn't bother changing it i used a xbox controller so luckily wasn't effected much by this. I recommend staying clear of this to make a statement that developers cant keep dropping half baked games broken games with little to no substance as this has been getting more and more frequent from triple a developers and is not acceptable just for a cash grab. I've played all the fallout games and this has to be the lowest point in the series. please do your self and wallet a favour buy something else.… Expand

    The Game is a bust. Essentially they took out everything good out of Fallout -the story, the RPG elements, the drama etc. The game is a rust simulator. Sorry this game is Trash

    F76 is disaster, dont get me wrong i love Fallout/elder scrolls games and F76 is a good idea ,but B.net rushed for money grab instead of making quality game.

    Игра не серьезна, в ней нет как такового контента. Из интересного могу выделить лишь то, что хочется сбегать туда и посмотреть локацию, некоторые побочные истории написаны, как говорится, на ура. В целом, эта игра для подросшего поколения майнкрафтеров - мамкиных выживальщиков (для них же урезана ПвП система, чтобы какой-нибудь PewDiePie не начал пилить грифер-шоу на потеху народу),Игра не серьезна, в ней нет как такового контента. Из интересного могу выделить лишь то, что хочется сбегать туда и посмотреть локацию, некоторые побочные истории написаны, как говорится, на ура. В целом, эта игра для подросшего поколения майнкрафтеров - мамкиных выживальщиков (для них же урезана ПвП система, чтобы какой-нибудь PewDiePie не начал пилить грифер-шоу на потеху народу), которым дай пособирать мусор да покрафтить, оба этих действия занимают 80% времени геймплея, 20% - беготня со стрельбой.     The world itself is the story. You get to see what peoples lives where and how ware destroyed it. This game isn't like so many where the the plot holds your hand like WOW, or FFXIV where a fully cinematic video tells you what happened. You are part of the story and creating your legacy is what this game is about.    … Expand

    game is extremely glitchy. having to drink water and eat food constantly is very annoying as well as not being able to carry hardly any items without becoming overencumbered. no nps makes for a very dull story line. i do not recommend this game to anyone even if you are a fallout fan because all it will do is make you mad

    In my experience it was alright and it was ok just to roam about looting and shooting some monsters/zombies. You will likely see cheaters as there is no prevention for this and you need a pretty beefy computer as this game is poorly optimized. I had a Intel i7 quadro 3100m, which is never had any trouble with any modern game titles except this game. I had 8 - 12 fps and my mouse kept jumping all over the screen. It was unplayable. Luckily I was at work and we have some powerful Titan powered PC's, but even with all that raw power it slowed down during massive fight scenes.
    The story has been taken out and you no longer make game-changing decisions like in previous Fallouts, and it feels like a MMO without the engaging quests. You are often told to go somewhere then return with no real story, but i digress it is a nice world if your computer can run it.
    I would not reccomend this game even though I really want to, I love fallout but this is a huge step back. I admire Bethesda for trying something like this but you forgot what made your francise so popular to begin with, go and speak with someone from CD projekt red.     This game really is buggy as hell right now, but if you look past that there is a great game here. No it's not a traditional fallout experience by any means but it's still fallout. The lore is there, the sidequests are compelling (for the most part) and it's loads of fun with or without friends.     So much review bombing on this game from people who haven't even played it. I am personally hooked on it. Are there bugs that need addressed? Sure, and the developer has already been working on them. They've stated many times that there will be regular patches, and added content in the future. I believe them.

    For all those review bombers where people complain that this isn't a single player game, that this isn't fallout New Vegas, etc. They're giving it zero score to try and push down it's rating because it isn't what they want. I don't go to a restaurant that serves nothing but chili and then give it a bad review because my chili wasn't sushi, and what I really wanted was sushi. That's just nonsense, and it is nonsense to give a game a 0 rating because it isn't a single player game. I'm sure the review bombers will keep on review bombing until they've realized that no amount of whining and foot stomping is going to change the fact that there are plenty of people who are loving this game for what it is, a multiplayer survival game.    … Expand

    Just don't touch this game. There's next to no content, VATS and SPECIAL are so streamlined now that they don't feel like they add anything to the game. Building and Crafting is so heavily simplified and is so poorly implemented, and on PC if you don't have WASD bound to your movement keys while in a build menu, you get stuck until you rebind them back. Enemies are pushovers and Death hasJust don't touch this game. There's next to no content, VATS and SPECIAL are so streamlined now that they don't feel like they add anything to the game. Enemies are pushovers and Death has no meaning other than losing your junk and wasting time. There is a Microtransaction shop that is utterly worthless, with simple cosmetic items costing $5+ and it takes a very long time to earn atoms in-game. Framerate is locked to 63 FPS and your FOV is locked at the console default 70 with no way to change it. Autosaves take forever and the servers crash so often that you can actually lose progress because of the long interval between autosaves. PvP is useless and only serves to waste time or troll people, as the attacker gains nothing most of the time since their damage is limited, and the defender can chem up and equip their best gear just to slaughter the attacker. With the massive amount of bugs and the fact this just feels like a Multiplayer mod, there is 0 reason to get this game unless it goes for less than $5 USD. This only gets a 1 because of the gunplay.… Expand

    Fallout 76 represents a big disappointment and the lowest point of the series so far. Riddled with bugs, repetitive and dull gameplay, nonexistent story and outdated graphics, it fails as a both multiplayer and singleplayer experience for fans and newcomers alike.

    Miracles do happen once in a while and No Man’s Sky proved that sometimes it is possible to get back on your feet even after a terrible failure. Right now though Fallout 76 is botched spectacularly on so many levels that even talking about this game is a waste of time. [01/2019, p.46]

    An unfinished game with bifurcated identity and in an almost dysfunctional state. It's hard to build on a bad base, that will never change. Like the war. [Issue#292]
