    To start with, the RTX implementation is terrible in this game. With RTX on everything is just way too dark, some people will defend this by saying "Night is supposed to be dark", but even in daytime there are huge dark areas. There isn't enough bounce lighting at all, so putting all RTX options on so you can see the pretty reflections and light affects at the cost of about -60fps meansTo start with, the RTX implementation is terrible in this game.     And then there are the character model shadows, jesus, dead island released over 10 years ago and they're still getting this wrong!!! Your guy walks around with his arms stretched out like Boris Karloff from the 1930's movie Frankenstein!

    And finally, the gameplay... it's trash... parkour is fun enough, but it's just another boring bloated open world that isn't exciting to explore and the rewards for doing so are just as uneventful. I'm sorry I spent the money on this game.    … Expand

    I am so sick of weird political propaganda in games. Also the quicktime events are annoying as hell, and the game is often frustrating because the parkour movement is all squirrelly.

    Awesome game. I was a big fan of Dying light 1 and Dying Light 2 does not disappoint. My immediate impressions of the game: gorgeous, cutting edge visuals. Huge improvement over Dying Light 2 but super taxing on the hardware. Nvidia 3060 and up is a must to experience the game in all its glory. Ray tracing is not a gimmick and it does deliver meaningful visual improvements in this game.Awesome game. I was a big fan of Dying light 1 and Dying Light 2 does not disappoint.     Although it doesn't give the feel of the first game, it's an average game, the hitting feel and parkour mechanics are great, the story is poor in terms of dialogue and role-playing.

    I played more than 150 hours on PC. I see lots of bugs even with last patch 1.4.
    Storyline is really boring and stupid. I don't see any new content.
    I had to start new game twice because of bugs.
    Now I'm palying NG+. Enemy's level is very high and they kill me easily.
    DL1 is much better!!!!

    The first Dying Light managed to get both quality and a good duration. 20 hours of story and if you did extra content (which in the first Dying Light was fun to do) you could easily reach 60 hours of gameplay.     Dying Light 2 presents a story mode that is a little bit longer, but with much less quality. There are many important characters that just appear in little fragments of the story, never to be seen again. The first Dying Light had less important characters but made more use of them, allowing you to actually care about them. Dying light 2 fails exponentially at that, since it doesn't give you enough time with the characters to actually care for them.

    The gameplay system is almost the same, but with little improvements (and new bugs, of course).

    The graphics are good, but the Vibe is far worse than the first Dying Light, since this had a sad almost dark vibe, and it was scary at night. This Dying Light 2 gives you a Fortnite vibe (even at night), with it's shiny colors everywhere.

    There is a ton of repetitive and insubstantial content to do, and you enjoy that type of void content, then by all means buy it, you'll enjoy it.
    Me, I always prefer quality over quantity, since time is much more precious than money, and I want to spend it right, and Dying Light 2 fails at that.    … Expand

    The story is too dull for me to lose interest in the game. The characters are uninteresting. The gameplay is too repetitive and gets old very quickly.

Продолжать этот список можно до бесконечности, но я могу лично от себя заявить, что это, во первых далеко не то, что нам показывали в старых трейлерах, где та же Лоан выглядит посимпатичнее, город выглядит по другому, а обещанные СОТНИ сюжетных выборов поделили на 10, и во вторых, это далеко не то, чего я ожидал. Я никоим образом не виню Techland за то, что они не умеют читать мысли, но можно было и получше постараться над сюжетом и NPC. За немалые семь лет можно было сотворить игру, схожую по крутости с RDR 2.

    Personally, I liked the game 50/50. If we compare with the first part, then: The graphics are cooler, the map is incredibly cool, a good idea with inhibitors, parkour at a high level. Added blocks in hand-to-hand combat, which were sorely lacking in the prequel. But the fight itself, the physics of bodies leaves much to be desired. NPCs say the same phrases when you approach, which is already starting to make you feel better. The plot is a little sparse, which upsets me. Teckland failed to properly reveal the characters, and the same death of Frank, which according to the idea of the writers was supposed to cause sadness, in fact did not cause any emotions. Added Russian voice acting, but largely free. Drunk Loan talked like a sober woman, a lot of mat, which is sometimes inappropriate and absurd. At some moments, it seems that only the voice actor, whose voice Aiden speaks, gives his best, which cannot be said about everyone. You can continue this list indefinitely, but I personally can say from myself that, firstly, it is far from what we were shown in the old trailers, where the same Loan looks more beautiful, the city looks different, and the promised HUNDREDS of plot options were divided into 10, and secondly, this is far from it what I expected. I don't blame Techland in any way for not being able to read minds, but it was possible to work better on the plot and the NPC.     I went through the whole game in one breath, but the ending KILLED !!! the whole impression of the game, I didn’t even finish off Waltz, I didn’t want to fall out in this sh/t so much. The ending banished a very good game, again. If you stole and finalized all the ideas of the first STALKER, you would learn how to make an ending like its authors    The Epilogue is just disgusting vomit.

    Всю игру прошел на одном дыхании, но концовка УБИЛА!!! все впечатление от игры, даже не стал добивать этого Вальца, настолько не хотелось вываливаться в этом дерьме. Как можно было изговнять хорошую игру - просто диву даешься. Если вы украли и доработали все идеи первого STALKER - поучились бы делать концовку как его авторы из А4 в METRO EXODUS.

    O jogo tinha de tudo para ser excelente, mas por algum motivo, foi lançado muito antes da hora e totalmente inacabado! Do começo pro meio do jogo, é um ótimo jogo, mas quando vai se aproximando do late game, parece que simplesmente fizeram tudo as pressas e ficou absurdamente horroroso! Os diferentes finais não significam nada, a cena final é mostrada em um slide preto com letreiro e asO jogo tinha de tudo para ser excelente, mas por algum motivo, foi lançado muito antes da hora e totalmente inacabado! Do começo pro meio do jogo, é um ótimo jogo, mas quando vai se aproximando do late game, parece que simplesmente fizeram tudo as pressas e ficou absurdamente horroroso! Os diferentes finais não significam nada, a cena final é mostrada em um slide preto com letreiro e as cinematics são extremamente abaixo da média! While fighting enemies the game randomly lags while doing parkour attacks. Enemies are sometimes grey skinned mannequin looking things. Enemies will freeze in place for several seconds after you hit them then re appear andIt's better and worse than the 1st game. Sometimes I'll do several parkour jumps, rolls, falls etc.. with no sfx at all. Then roughly 20 seconds later I'll hear all the sounds that were supposed to play earlier while my character is just standing there. I'm currently on the final story mission and its skipping entire cutscenes.. Techland should be embarrassed… Expand

    This game is not optimized whatsoever, I have a RTX 2070 and I play on 2560x1080, even with all ray tracing features disabled (everything else maxed out) I can't get remotely close to 60fps, in the first area of the game which isn't by far the heaviest area, at all, it's an open empty field!

    -The game crashed after 3 minutes of playing, while I was changing some settings in the menus
    -The menus are SO CLUNKY, feels like a game from 15 years ago, in fact I've played games from 15 years ago with menus that work better
    -Doesn't have proper ultrawide support, since they add blackbars on cutscenes for...reasons?
    Besides these things that I could verify myself after just 20 minutes of "playing" the game, there's all the complaints made by other people that actually finished the game (ah, the brave ones), such as weak story and bad dialogue. Do not buy this game.    … Expand

    Fena olmayan bir deneyimdi, oyun finalde buga girmeseydi iyi bir deneyim olmuş olurdu. Oyun bitmesine 10 dakika kala buga girdi ve bitiremedim, internetten sonuna bakmak zorunda kaldım. Bu yüzden 5 veriyorum. Adama olana çok bile.

    Look, Techland… I’m gonna be honest, this kinda seems like a downgrade and I personally have Mixed feelings about this game, I knew that it wasn’t gonna live up to the hype, but I never really expected such a absolute tear down and reconstruction of the entire previous game system from DL1
    Everything seems like a letdown and I’m not too happy about this one. :(

    Despite all my complaints, I initially had fun with Dying Light 2. The first quarter of the game was engaging. I think if the rest of the game played like this, I would have way more positive things to say, but the fact is that it’s just not done. This is clearly an unfinished game mired in mismanagement. I don’t blame the developers at all; the leaders and executives behind this work are responsible. What works here is clean and well done, albeit with some boring AAA niceties. After the first quarter or so, though, the game absolutely falls apart in almost every respect. I’m sad for what was produced here, but if I’m being honest, I’m more sad that I invested nearly thirty hours of my own time into this. Don’t make the same mistake I did.

    Dying Light 2 has proven to be a brilliant zombie game, thanks to the great parkour and combat mechanics. The story however is a bit flawed due to some really strange twists.

    There is fun to be had here, but aside from a few moments of joyous parkour, it's the sort of fun you can have in dozens of other open-world games. There is certainly some added fun in co-op with a couple of friends, but in a world where we get another open-world game every week, I just cannot recommend anyone go out and buy Dying Light 2 at full price. Especially not when it came out right before Horizon: Forbidden West and Elden Ring, both of which look far more promising.
