  • Summary: Duke Grabowski: Mighty Swashbuckler is a classic point-and-click adventure, created with love by an indie team that includes LucasArts alumni. Play as Duke, a pirate who’s had success in pillaging, ransacking, and other forms of piratey goodness, but doesn’t know a thing about women.

I truly believe “Duke Grabowski: Mighty Swashbucker!” has the potential of becoming the best adventure game that Tiller, Mocsy and Grant have delivered so far, as long as they fix the -mainly technical- flaws this first part brought out.

It's a fun little game with lots to like if you're a fan of LucasArts style humor. Lots of homage to Monkey Island games, which makes sense considering the developer. It's got some inconsistency issues in the animation, but I'd chalk that up to small team/low budget. It seems to me like the start of something good if they can add more animation. Even with its flaws, it's an enjoyable experience. Expand
