Feb 26, 2020Bad bad game, a big open world is meaningless if it is filled with boring grind-y stuff. The story was terrible, with the a bad guy that did not leave a mark at all.

Apr 3, 2019What has happened to you Bioware? EA? Must be?
From the epic RPG story telling of Dragon Age Origins.
A misstep in Dragon Age 2
And a single player MMO in inquisition with a lack lustre story, poor game play and world.
The experience gets even worse if you look back at the older catalogue
RIP Bioware -

Mar 11, 2021First of all the positive aspects: good graphics, answers to choose in dialogues, nice battle system.
But the world is too open to me, I felt like lost and therefore the story is developing too slowly to be engaging. DA Inquisition reminds me of ME Andromeda - cut 80% garbage content and make the game more thrilling. -

Dec 14, 2022This isnt exactly a bad game, but it is bland. Every single part of this game is mediocre. I'd give it a 5 but considering its a downgrade from origins, and even a downgrade from 2 in some ways, it deserves a 4. In terms of game design it is miles behind other RPG games in a quasi-open world setting.

May 26, 2015It would have been a great MMO; as a single player it is, at most, boring. There is no real RPG in the game, interaction with the world and other NPCs is purely cosmetic.

Nov 25, 2014I bought this game thinking I would be getting a great tactical pc game like previous in the franchise. Instead I got a console port of a button masher. There's little strategy in combat now. Just run in and let your team cream while spamming attack button. So disappointing. Guess I won't bother with the next mass effect either.
Graphics ok. Story bit lacklustre so far at 6 hours in. -

Dec 29, 2014The game is unplayable on my my PC. It stutters and freezes for long periods. MultiPlayer is erratic. They need some serious patches. My PC handles most other graphics intensive games just fine. Not sure what the issue is here.

Feb 9, 2015Best Dragon Age so far, hands down. Pity about the naff writing. [Issue#257, p.51]

Jan 22, 2015The masters over at Bioware have done it again. This epic journey into the world of Thedas will steal more than 100 hours of your time, hours so full of superb gaming that you'll never forget them.

Jan 14, 2015Despite numerous shortcomings, the new BioWare project is undoubtedly worth your attention. One of the best RPGs of 2014.
