    The game way to buggy for online some how I lost my character after beating all of Tristram. Randomly my friends and me would get kicked out of the lobbies. There were some other instances of running into a unkillable mobs the game is almost as bad warcraft 3 reforged.

    Cosmetic added to characters are disturbing. The game won't launch at release, while the beta was running smoothly. Worst launch i've experienced so far in my gaming life for more than 28 years.

    DO NOT BUY Diablo2 resurrected. Pre ordered and played beta fine. But Blizzard changed the requirements and programming logic AFTER beta test. As a result after the release game still not starting on my PC. 4000+ posts on blizzard support forum (thousand of players suffering with the issue confirmed by the developers). Poor R&D and Quality control for the company with such size.

    Looks like it would be fun, if the game would actually launch. Sadly, devs decided to change the system requirements post-beta. But it was an accident. Or not. Yes, definitely unintentional, but also these are the requirements, so it's players' fault somehow. They can't even settle on one narrative. Pretty bad launch, but not a surprise for the washed up company that used to be Blizzard.

    A game that aged very poorly with unbalanced classes, gotcha mechanics, artificial difficulty that only affects some classes, required meta builds to progress, and a very toxic community to boot. Unless you are already a fan of this game from 20 years ago, play something else, anything else.

    When the customers are treated in such way it is hard to believe that all the latest scandals are not true, seems like the atmosphere of harassment, even sexual once and of humiliation is normal for this company. Earning billions of profit the company deliberately does not hire Q&A engineers to release decent version of workable product.

    Это не игра, можно ливать ! За неделю с релиза не поправлены критичные ошибки, игра лагает, персонажи удаляются в том числе после патча, который это фиксил. У кого-то до сих пор не получилось запустить. Я готов простить то, что вместо всех женских персонажей в игре теперь какие то трансы и старушки, я готов понять проблему с серверами но не сохранить 5 часов игрового прогресса могут толькоЭто не игра, можно ливать !     I am a big time Diablo fan. I have played since D1. I love D2 and I play D3. So this game was a no brainer. Except my i7 processor which can play all other games and blows D2 and D3 out of the water. My specs are all above minimum, I run the right operating system. Everything is up to date and READY TO GAME.

    But they won't fix this issue. Refund that money and never give it back. They dropped the ball for all of us fans, and when it comes to new fans they dropped the ball on them too as I'm seeing so many issues with other platforms that it was released on. Server errors galore!

    Wait in queue for 45 minutes and my characters are gone. Tons of crashes, queues every single day, server outages every single day. This game has absolutely no polish and is just a cash grab.

    I don't play very many games anymore, but wanted in on the D2 nostalgia. I've heard some criticisms about the changes from original, but the direction the remaster went is good. I now remember some of the aspects of the game that were annoying, but it is faithful to what the gameplay originally was.

    However, the implementation of the game has serious flaws and bugs. A score of 0 is entirely earned. Launch day was absolutely horrendous, giving me flashbacks of D3. I could only get an hour of game play on launch day. At this point there have been two patches put out, but the game constantly crashes on my 3-year old XPS laptop. The game just crashed 10x in a row trying to load into Act V town. I've tried every possible iteration to no avail, including all difficulties, creating a game, joining a game, loading into Act V from a different Act, etc. Not being able to do Baal runs is game breaking.

    I've also had my Dell recovery BIOS scan and fix disk corruption issues after several D2 crashes yesterday. The game is clearly not ready and may even damage/corrupt your hard drive. Under normal circumstances, I'd say that is enough to qualify for a refund.

    Update: Three weeks into launch and I'm still having problems getting my characters to show up. I do not have confidence that the game will be running smoothly any time this year.

    Update: I just spent over 30 minutes looking at the login queue and still don't have access my online characters. Why was this game released? It was never ready. I realize that they are trying to fix the problems, but the game is still barely playable even weeks after launch. Launching a non-working product should be grounds for a mass-refund campaign.    … Expand

    tried open beta game was playing fine so i ordered it, little did i know that the final result wasn't up to expectations and with different specifications without even one notice.
    i know i know a patch will be released you say, its just the big disappointment. a game to become so buggy and unplayable after beta was fine.

    Worked in Beta test but Dev's added AVX requirement plus changed the minimum hardware requirements. Crashes to desktop with i7 875k, Gtx 1060 SC 6gb, 16gb sys ram. Wow so sad requires a sandybridge or newer cpu and even then many cannot overcome the AVX issue. Refund server lagging due to overload. So over rated at this point. Good luck on running it!

    They said it wasnt supposed to be in there. They said they were working on a fix. Yet other things keep getting fixed and this keeps getting put on a back burner. Now theyve tried blaming us for not meeting system requirements which we do. Many cant even get refunds back as some "game masters" refuse to issue them. Ive seen some terrible launches. D3. Many of the WoW expansions. Cyberpunk. Fallout 76. This is by far the worst and most disappointing. They managed to destroy a remaster and bone their oldest supporters. They keep banning people on twitter who even bring it up. This company no longer has any clue about what loyalty or accountability is. So if youre running a cpu thats 10 to 13 years old, dont buy it. You cant play. If you dont like companies who cater to streamers and screw their most loyal customers. Then dont buy anything blizzard related ever again. The development teams we knew and loved back in the day are long gone anyhow. This new generation of bliz devs just suck. Mind you Im not deducting points for anything other than the current state of the game and blizzards terrible response to it. If it ever gets fixed, ill be more than happy to revisit my review.     The game doesn't run at all i am able to press play and ot crashes.
    So hard to give a higher rating then a 0 was hoping to get back on the hype train but another letdown by blizzard

    Censorship: Dialogues deleted from the original (natalya, alkor), profanity filter not optional (and it will censor words not considered as profanity), uglyfied character models, lore redcons, server instability, a ton of new bugs (Devs have no clue what they are doing!) , Dont buy! Blizzard being blizzard again.

    Lied to again. We were promised a 1 to 1 recreation of the game all the way down to the garlic. What we got was Diablo 2 Re-censored. The amazon and Assasin no longer resemble the original game nor do some of the monsters specifically the Succubus and Sabre cat/ Slinger. Im sure the longer i play the more censorship ill find. if Vicarious Visions had other plans for the design directionLied to again.     Diablo II: Resurrected is far from perfect. The changes in character design are likely to rile up returning players, and the archaic gameplay probably won’t agree with younger generations weaned on more streamlined, sophisticated experiences. While I appreciate that this legendary title is now available in an improved format, it’s not a caveat-free recommend.

    Diablo II: Resurrection is outdated return of the legend, but it brings such a perfect atmosphere and such a wonderful audiovisual processing, that serie fans will be excited.

    Diablo II returns with refreshed graphics and unaltered gameplay (apart from some small improvements). It’s as fun as I remembered, so I quickly felt at home and gave in to nostalgia. However, it’s hard not to notice that beneath revamped visuals lies a 21 years old design. [12/2021, p.32]
