    1. Bending under modern trends, authors ruined the characters. The Amazon was NOT an old witch. Paladin was not a black rapper, he was ARABIAN. Assassin was not asian, she was white and vampirish. Sorceress had breasts partially bare. You did not have any right to change the characters' appearance. This is a remaster where you can only improve graphics, mechanics, sound, but not take away from players what they loved in the game.
    2. And at the same time, what should have been changed was not changed. The stamina scale was not removed, the gold collection radius was not made wider The inventory is so small that there is no place for dropping loot AT ALL.
    3. Clearly overpriced. This game is not worth this much.
    4. Cowardy distribution policy. Fearing that a single game would simply be pirated, authors made connecting to servers mandatory even for a single game. As a result, the hatred of the entire community, refunds, prohibitively low ratings and the final loss of reputation received. Man... If you were just selling a single game through GOG, you would end up earning more.

    I have never in my life written a review for a game, but the **** Blizzard does these days has made me do it, just so I can rate it a 0/10. Worst experience I have ever had, they are refusing my refund request, even though I cannot play the game at all because of the constant crashes , queues and disconnects. A trash company, trash product, avoid it like the plague.

    Server errors , random crashes, characters disappear, progression loss, games won't load, cannot join friend's game etc.

    The game itself is fine but the servers will stop you from playing it. You will queue for hours only to get kicked mere seconds after logging in and be thrown back in the queue. This is unacceptable in 2021.

    Great graphic rework with terrible network solutions and last nail in the coffin as a queue into game. No chance to play on demand

    Login to game, wait in queue for 1.5 hours, get in the game, find something useful, game crash, lose progression, wait in queue again for 1.5 hours in order to just play 30 minutes.

    Perfect game and amazing work was done in this remaster, but WTF is going on! Why I must be in queue during some hours in 2021? The situation with servers is awful... and looks like not will be better

    I am pissed about this game. Every time I try to log in on my day off Saturday I am always placed in a 350+ person que. Try to join a game says can not create game at least 15 times before it goes. There should be a law against pushing out **** to players that have been loyal to this game for years! If they opened up refunds for this game I would totally take it and write blizzard offI am pissed about this game.     Это худший запуск за всю историю онлайн игр с которым мне довелось столкнуться. Поиграть в выходные это что-то из области фантастики. Приходится ждать своей очереди более часа. Але разработчики, вы в своём уме?!

    При попытке перезайти (обновить мобов в локациях) с вероятностью 50 на 50 отваливается от батлнета и приходится перезапускать игру. В итоге в один прекрасный момент просто пропадал персонаж, которым играл.

    Apparently the developers didn't know how the playerbase played, or still plays, good old Diablo 2. They don't know their own game. Now they created shadowbans and server queues to prevent players from enjoying the game, instead of providing good stable servers.

    Oh, and they told us to change only very little in the game, to provide the good old experience. Well, they have changed characters to nestle to modern diversity propaganda, instead of making some nessecary convenience changes.    … Expand

    I remember when I first played Diablo II, it was a game you can play any time you would like to, not a game like this one which you should either play early in the morning or late past midnight.

    Sadly, this is not the game I would like to play.

    This game is a joke and so is the company. Horrible servers, ridiculous wait times, constantly disconnects and makes you wait hours to try again. Cant believe you can sell a game that isn’t even playable. Save you money for some thing you can actually log in and play!!

    It is honestly hard to believe that blizzard can still be this incompetent. broken servers, Q that leads to not being able to join, so take another hour to try to get in. constant crashes that also lead to the before problem... if there is one thing i love it is lagging in a single player game.

    Many bugs, many bots, even dupes again now on bnet.

    And they also fk´d up the balancing with the current patch, so it´s not even the beloved D2 gameplay wise

    The only pro is the nice graphics. But since day one online play has been terrible: crashes, downtime, progression loss. They removed tcp/ip multiplayer. The final straw was losing my cube when my single player game crashed.

    Well, at first the nostalgic feeling gets you, but god, it's getting old and I had a second thought on the Diablo iii gameplay on which I had been a bit hard at the time.

    Still it's a old good game but not sure that I'll finsih it or at least just with one class but after that I think I'll just wait for Diablo IV

    This game is so bad that Blizzard is literally still fixing everything until the time this whole "lovely" game is going for a sale for 25% off.

    So are you expecting they fixed all the issues? No! They "lovely" published a preview for "Patch" 23. I don't need your "lovely" "preview" for "patches". Patch won't make the way isn't the "lovely" patch. They are the same as rumor! "Love" you blizzard!

    Literally bought this on my Switch thinking I could have another fun single-player experiences I could have on the go like Diablo 3, but was surprised to learn that I had to connect to the internet to even start the game. I go to university where the only wifi I have access to won't allow me to connect to the servers & it will take another 3 weeks till I get back home.     Diablo II: Resurrected is far from perfect. The changes in character design are likely to rile up returning players, and the archaic gameplay probably won’t agree with younger generations weaned on more streamlined, sophisticated experiences. While I appreciate that this legendary title is now available in an improved format, it’s not a caveat-free recommend.

    Diablo II: Resurrection is outdated return of the legend, but it brings such a perfect atmosphere and such a wonderful audiovisual processing, that serie fans will be excited.

    Diablo II returns with refreshed graphics and unaltered gameplay (apart from some small improvements). It’s as fun as I remembered, so I quickly felt at home and gave in to nostalgia. However, it’s hard not to notice that beneath revamped visuals lies a 21 years old design. [12/2021, p.32]
