Dec 11, 2017I sincerely hope there’s no “Destiny 3” on the minds of Bungie anytime soon. Instead, I want to see them treat this game like a true ongoing service for the next five years. Let it grow, become massive in content and scope. And if there ever is a Destiny 3, you’d better make it carry over all the progress of players’ work in D2. In any case, I’m loving the direction that Destiny 2 is headed.

Dec 12, 2017Sure, Mercury’s small, the strikes are a letdown, and many players are cut off from prestige events, but between the world building, new gear, and gameplay features such as new Crucible maps and the Raid Lair, there’s a fair amount of fun to be had in Curse of Osiris.

Jan 4, 2018Curse of Osiris offers little as far as content is concerned. The brief campaign is forgettable and treated more like hold-over content than a proper full expansion. The only real redeeming feature about Curse of Osiris are the Raid Lairs.

Jan 5, 2018Curse of Osiris feels more like a cash grab rather than a true expansion. It most certainly does nothing to stop the fanbase of players from leaving the game in favor of other titles. There is simply not enough content to improve the base game to the point that would keep players engaged for a longer time. The uninteresting campaign story and unexciting end game activities that rarely offer any challenge, makes Curse of Osiris a really weak expansion. If not for the new Raid Lair and the new Adventures, I wouldn't be able to say anything good about the new DLC.

LEVEL (Czech Republic)Feb 16, 2018Curse of Osiris does not improve Destiny 2 the way someone might wish. New players won't definitely be attracted, but fans will be pleased with the new content. [Issue#282]

Dec 10, 2017Curse of Osiris landed in Destiny 2 with a thud. Its campaign and story are a bust, its new content is mixed and buggy at best, and it does nothing to address the community’s loud cries for fixes to the endgame. The few redeeming features are its more challenging and varied Adventures, and the Raid Lair’s puzzles and tough boss battle.

CD-ActionMar 14, 2018I marveled at the beauty of some new landscapes, but I will remember Curse of Osiris as a string of disappointments. Dumb story, few new features, endless grind, poorly balanced difficulty, awfully lame final encounter. [02/2018, p.49]
