    Free drop on the Epic Store. Wow you know those old horror movies are cheaply made schlock right? This game encaspluates all that perfectly. It looks cheap and it's pure schlock for sure. They nailed the formula for sure. Right off to play an actual good game, laters.

    Something instantly didnt feel right when playing this game: i think its the movement and the action speed. I still gave it a chance but i felt so overwhelmed with all the unlocks / perks the slugish unlock pace etc. Maybe there is a good game hidden beneath but its not for me.

Во-вторых, локации, да они атмосферные и колоритные, но некоторые это тупо коридоры, в игре про побеги от маньяка, класс. В-третьих, разнообразие игры за выживших, которого я так понял нет. Помимо починки генераторов, спасание сокомандников c крюков, лечении себя и их на реакцию все и заканчивается. Последнее, это подбор матча который долгий, около 2-3 минут, для игры с онлайном 80 тысяч+. Насчет комьюнити ничего не буду говорить, так как оно наверно везде токсично. Поэтому оценка 4,5(поскольку здесь выбрать можно только целые ставлю 5). Вообще ожидал более худшего зрелища чем оказалось, и если вы хотели найти альтернативу "Пятнице 13", моё мнение, обходите стороной эту игру.… Expand

    Got the game for free off the Epic Store, thank God I didn't spend any money on this game and only a bit of time. Controls are twitchy on PC with controller, easy to get hung up on the various obstacles scattered throughout the map. As a new solo player you have zero chance to get up to speed with other players unless you want to grind this stupid game. Like I said so glad I didn't spend money on this POS game... I've never played an asymmetrical that was balanced and not many people make them for a reason fortunately.

    Also, if you like this game don't be a dick and ruin the experience for others. Last game I played the survivors were being a$$hats at the exit door delaying the end of the game just to dicks. Congrats your community lost another player keep it up and you'll be playing with yourselves or better yet, BOTS!     … Expand

    Basically an example in how to structure an on-going game in such a way as to alienate new players and drive them away. The theme is fun for a while but the whole horror aspect quickly wears thin. The progression grinds are completely out of control. The microtransactions are predatory. The community wears toxicity as a badge of honour. Public queues are a flaming pile of rotten horse manure. Frustration is the only thing you're guaranteed to experience if you play this with randoms.

    Custom Matches, on the other hand, are a breath of fresh air. The pressure to progress is lifted. Every perk and item is unlocked for everyone. The toxic community who taunt your every move and spam racial slurs in post-game chat on an hourly basis is locked out. The MTX suddenly seems a lot more reasonable now it's not associated with hundreds of hours of grinding per purchase. The action suddenly becomes fun! You and your friends will probably have a pretty good time if you spend a few hours together in voice chat, laughing and joking and just enjoying yourselves without the pressure to progress dogging your every move.

    Which just goes to underline how completely the developers have mismanaged the public queues and progression systems. Never pay full price for this, and make sure you know people who have it because you don't ever EVER want to hit that "Ready" button with strangers.    … Expand

It rivals the likes of DOTA 2 and LoL. People will harass and send you death threats regardless what you do in this game, on top of the racism and bigotry. On top of the amounts of expensive DLC andThe community, being essential parts to a game (Because how can you play this without people?) is well known for being one of the most toxic communities out there. It's bad. Really REALLY bad. It rivals the likes of DOTA 2 and LoL. People will harass and send you death threats regardless what you do in this game, on top of the racism and bigotry. On top of the amounts of expensive DLC and updates that always introduce game breaking bugs (that take weeks to fix) I cannot say I recommend anything unless you got thick enough skin (a.k.a: survive MW2 lobbies) to deal with the massive degeneracy that the developers have hosted and flat out refused to deal with.

    If you think Modern Warfare 2 was child's play when it comes to toxicity, then MAYBE you'll like this. It. Is. BAD. The only thing saving it from a flat-out bad review is the constant giving away of game currency and that its crossplay, so when it becomes free in some platform (because it somehow always is), then you can just play with friends. The toxic community can be ignored if you just dont read the chat. But even then, looking at it at an objective point of view, this can make it hard to enjoy for normal people, and this rating reflects it.

    One last thing to touch out on is the developers are hit and miss. Sometimes they can too be condescending pricks, or just be flat out incapable in putting out an update (more often times than not in this case). Overall: Game is fun as long as you have friends to play with you. Community is trash, developers are sometimes trash, and updates can break stuff that takes the devs a few weeks to fix or not at all, depends on how the developers are feeling that day. Look through all of that, and you have a good game on your hands. Thank God I got this free on Epic.    … Expand

    A horrible downward spiral of mismanagement, as someone who played the game when it only had about 5 DLCs (including skins) it has only gotten worse. The game turned into a horrible microtransaction machine that pumps out untested content like on a treadmill.     I remember when the game was actually fun, the perks were strong and useful, the devs weren't scared to add strong things and the community wasn't so toxic, but those days are long gone, I wouldn't recommend this mess at all even to my worst enemy.

    Now all they can do is push out unbalanced, uninspired killers that are literally pay to win with broken abilities that require no brain function to use and win. As a killer you will be either bullied without a chance to fight back because survivors have flashlights and work very well together resulting in you just walking around the map for the whole game or the CLASSIC: chase, hit, chase, down, pick up, hook, repeat x10 with use of abilities sometimes. As a survivor you will most likely get camped and sniped, no the perks won't save you, no the devs won't save you, no, your teammates won't save you, There is a high chance that most of the time you will have no fun, literally a coinflip matchmaking because the rank doesn't matter. Unbalanced game, super poorly optimized, with each update new errors arise... but they never tire of launching dlcs to make money, instead of fixing the game that looks like it will never leave pre-alpha.… Expand

    This game is best when you start playing it and you're noob. The best is when you're survivor and play against a noob killer because the game is actually fun, tense and fair. When you get to know the meta it starts to become frustrating. Here's what happens then:

    Survivors complain killers are OP because they have insta-down power, can teleport/charge across the map, can camp, can know exactly where you are, have ruin/undying/tinkerer/pop (some of the bests perks of the game).

    Killer complains survivors are OP because they loop perfectly, makes you loop the same big building like 3 times in a row before you can even hit them once, makes you eat pallet in the face every 10 steps, and finally hook a survivor after 3-4 gens are done already. All 4 of the survivors have decisive strike which allow them to get off the killer's grasp, or borrowed time which allows them to be hit without being injured X seconds after being saved from a hook, so essentially just stalling for even more times just so you have to chase those survivors even more, wasting you so much time in one single chase while all 5 gens pops.

    I'm amazingly noob at this game, but I learned the meta by watching A LOT of killer/survivor streamers. I think the huge problem of this games are the perks. There is just too much now. A perk is essentially a passive, a power, you can equip. The thing is, this game allows the perk of one survivor/killer to be learned by other survivor/killers. Imagine how dumb it would be if in a moba, every single hero/champion/whatever could learn and use every single skill in the game? What would happen?

    Of course, EVERYBODY would uses the same 4-8 most powerful skill regardless of character (best stun, damage, healing, CC skills and who cares about the rest. It's really what's happening with DBD. Survivor and killer running almost always the same powerful perks because 3/4 of all the perks are completely useless or obsolete. It's really hilarious. A new killer/survivor appears with their own new perks, and then the same old perks are used on them anyway. It's really dumb. I also think it causes hell for behaviour to balance the game.

    The game has become unfun and repetitive. Get looped the same way every game, loop the killer the same way every game, use the same perks every game, cleanse the ruin/undying totem every game. I think behaviour needs to add new STUFF to do in the map beside throwing pallet on the killer and balance the game around it. It's never gonna happen. The game is 4 years old and too much people playing it still. Too much of a risk. Anyway, game's a real bore for me. I even got bored to hell watching the streamers.    … Expand

    Dead by Daylight on its own is a pretty fun game. I prefer playing as a killer, and there is a lot to it. A lot of different perks, add-ons to make your character fit your gameplay (the game goes obviously for survivors but I didn't feel it quite as well). I feel like the game is balanced pretty well, a killer is not some super strong entity that can just go around mindlessly killingDead by Daylight on its own is a pretty fun game. I prefer playing as a killer, and there is a lot to it. A lot of different perks, add-ons to make your character fit your gameplay (the game goes obviously for survivors but I didn't feel it quite as well). I feel like the game is balanced pretty well, a killer is not some super strong entity that can just go around mindlessly killing survivors, after each hit killer slows down giving a chance to escape, abilities have their drawbacks, some are hard to hit, some will leave killer in fatigue state, etc. Playing as a survivor tho feels like a hold button-down simulator. All activities (fixing generators, opening gates, healing) are just contests of holding down a button, for a very long time. There are skill checks to it, but you just have to press space at right time. But many things are wrong with this game. For starters, progression is very, very slow. To unlock a single character you would have to play for about 50 hours it feels like. In addition to that, there are playable characters that you can't unlock by in-game earned currency. You have to buy them, for real money. In a game that you already paid for. Skins are fine, because if you don't like them just don't buy them, but not to be able to play all characters? There is also a premium battle pass, which I found equally as dumb. The game encourages you to buy something from the store on almost every step. Another big issue is bugs/glitches. Once playing as a killer I just got disconnected for no reason, when my internet was working fine. The other time game glitched and I couldn't use the killer's ability or pick up survivors to hang them. This is a game-breaking bug. And just before I wrote this review I couldn't join the game, counted as me going AFK. This shouldn't be happening in a game that's 5 years old.… Expand

Because at that time a shop with cosmetics didn't exist and devs weren't making this game    After 4 years with this game I cannot recommend it.

The game was very, VERY unbalanced at the time but, it was a lot more fun to play. Why you ask? Because at that time a shop with cosmetics didn't exist and devs weren't making this game competitive. Yes, you heard me right, BHVR is making DBD which started as a scary party game into a e-sports competitive show. Also they're prioritizing cosmetics over bug fixes and patches. Did you know that in DBD they're bugs and errors that didn't get fixed since launch? You kinda get the picture how the devs are treating this game.

    Another big problem with this game is the community. In every game you will find a player that will be bashing the opposite role in the post-game chat. It doesn't matter if they did good or played fair, salty killers/survivors will send you awful comments in almost every game.

    Now, let's talk about killers that where released lately. The most efficient way of escaping is a strategy called "looping". As the name suggests you're running around a certain tile that is randomly generated on the map in a certain way that makes it so you stay as far away from the killer as possible. So, know that we know what looping is lets go back to the new killers. Since 2020 almost every killer that was released was punishing you when you where trying to loop, so the only strategy to them is to stop mind-gaming and trying to loop, but to only run forward and drop every pallet early. This play style is very boring and un-fun for both sides. There is no mind-gaming and trying to trick the opponent, it's just holding "W". This is very unhealthy for the game as it removes the fun element of the game which was outsmarting the opponent. There is also no skill cap on the killers that have this play style which means that anybody can pick them up and in few games can start destroying teams in a matter of seconds. Oh, you have over 1,000 hrs as survivor? Don't care you get downed in 10-30 seconds. Oh, almost forgot about survivors. When you play against this type of killer the best strategy on the survivor side is to do generators as fast as possible since chases last around 10-30 seconds, maybe over a minute if you're really good or the killer is pretty bad. That play style is surprise, surprise extremely BORING. To repair a generator alone you need about 80 seconds (I think), imagine doing it 2 or 3 times. There is no skill involved which is a real spit in the face to the people that where putting hours and hours on survivor trying to get good.

    Now the devs are either releasing a really strong killer that has little to no counter play, or a really weak killer that nobody wants to play and is a laugh stock in the entire community.

    If you are thinking about maining this game I don't really recommend it. There are over 20 characters on the survivor and killer side, everybody has unique 3 perks. If you want to have all perks you will need to grind and grind and grind, through a very, VERY tedious and outdated leveling system. When you purchase the game you only get 7 survivor and 5 killers the rest is DLC :) You will have to spend a lot of money if you want to experience DBD fully. Also, don't buy it on the PS4, XBOX1 or Nintendo Switch, the game runs awful on last gens consoles and looks really AWFUL on the Nintendo Switch.    … Expand

    Handlung:
    In Dead by Daylight spielt man entweder die Überlebenden oder den Jäger. Als Überlebender hat man die Aufgabe Generatoren zu reparieren um dem Jäger und seinen Fallen zu Entkommen.
    Spielt man den Jäger(viele bekannte Horrorcharaktere aus diversen Horrorfilme und Spiele) hat man die Aufgabe die Überlebenden zu finden und zu töten. Diverse Perks ändern das Spiel Runde für Runde.

    Gameplay(Maus und Tastatur):
    Das Gameplay läuft ohne Probleme und erklärt sich von selbst. Die Aufgaben sind immer die gleichen, jedoch gleichen die Vielfältigen Maps das wieder aus. Während man die Generatoren repariert bzw. Seine Mitspieler versucht zu heilen, muss man Skillchecks absolvieren. Vor jeder Runde kann man seine Perks an einem Skillbaum verbessern und diverse Items erhalten, die man sich mit in die Runde holen kann. Zum Beispiel ein Werkzeug- oder Erste-Hilfe-Kasten. Bugs sind mir noch keine aufgefallen, sodass man keine Probleme während des Spielens hat.

    Sound:
    Der Sound passt zum Spiel und vermittelt eine düstere und Horrorartige Stimmung. Die Geräusche der Generatoren, Items und Umgebungen passen sich sehr gut an.

    Grafik:
    Die Grafik passt zu einem Spiel von 2016. Die Umgebung, Animationen und Charaktere passen zusammen und stechen nicht einzeln heraus.

    Fazit:
    Ein schönes Multiplayer Horrorspiel für zwischendurch. Viele vielfältige Perks, Items und Charaktere machen jede Runde einzigartig. Soundtracks und die Düstere Grafik machen das Spiel noch besser. Updates und neue Charaktere tauchen regelmäßig auf. Wer genug Zeit mitbringt kann gerne einen 100% Run bestreiten.    … Expand

Other "problem" most 0 ratings have is camping/tunneling. This is not games fault, it is the player who decided to do so. The game is very different from others now popular multiplayer titles like League of Legends and you need to put the time in and learn the mechanics and only than review it and not saying after 10 hours killers are OP only because you didn't learn to play it PROPERLY. But yes DBD has some issues, mostly consisting of hit scan and unfair map design. In defense of developers past few months they are working to fix those problems with quite good results. Overall if you have group of friends to play with and you learn how the game works it's fun experience with high skill ceiling so it may hook you in for hundreds potentially thousands of hours.… Expand

    Para você ter uma experiência completa você precisa desembolsar um valor muito alto em DLC/tempo de jogo, os valores de skin são mais cara que os personagem em sí (fora as venda de skin recolors por valores absurdos), toda atualização mesmo eles trazendo uma public test elas chegam lotadas de problemas e falhas simples para a versão in-live (mesmo a comunidade relatando problemasPara você ter uma experiência completa você precisa desembolsar um valor muito alto em DLC/tempo de jogo, os valores de skin são mais cara que os personagem em sí (fora as venda de skin recolors por valores absurdos), toda atualização mesmo eles trazendo uma public test elas chegam lotadas de problemas e falhas simples para a versão in-live (mesmo a comunidade relatando problemas localizado na PTB, só ver o total de bugfix nos patch note: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/kb/articles/280-4-6-1-bugfix-patch), eventos repetidos e simplesmente sem criatividades, balanceamento do jogo deplorável e problemas constante com a comunidade.
    A última DLC do Resident Evil foi simplesmente um desastre com mapas desativados, problemas de performance em consoles, bugs constante e fora a venda de de uma skin da cabeça da Jill duplicada (os problemas demoraram quase 2 meses para ser corrigidos).
    E muito mais, simplesmente não perda seu tempo comprando esse jogo.    … Expand

    Games are always different, making it unpredictable due to the large variety of killers we have this year. We have a bunch of licenses, from Halloween to Silent Hill, and this year, we got Resident Evil in the game.
    I recommend you to give it a shot. Don't let the 234 negative reviews fool you, they're just people that had 1 bad game and are in desperate need to vent.    … Expand

There have been zero attempts to solve a very prominent (albeit complex) issue regarding survive with friends. The game is no balance. Survivors got a lot of fun perks in the new patch and killers got nothing. Because the devs know the player base is 80% survivor (actual stat btw). It doesn't seem like the dedicate any thought into how to make killer less grating because it's a statistically small portion of their player base even though there wouldn't even be a game without killer players.     A game that's fun on paper that's destroyed by a p2w element in unlocking other characters. Seriously a console game that has a business model of a mobile game.
    You should be able to unlock characters. Through progression when you have more DLC characters than og characters that's a huge red flag.

    I've spent almost a thousend hours on this game, and I still can't recommend it. The gameplay is fun and addictive. The graphics are good, with great music and sound design. However, the sheer amount of bugs, glitches and micro-transactions ruins it for me. At best, I'll recommend it on sale.

    I actually have about 4k hours in this game but god knows why. this is litterally the most imbalanced pvp in existence, it is so survivor sided you can litterally win by holding down one button on survivor.

Only to be nerfed again when the devs realize (much later than the players) that they were a bad idea like this - but often they dont even realize that.
    Matchmaking is still very bad (even with crossplay now). It gets new and casual players and rank one tryhard killers mixed up. And you still have to wait up to 15 minutes for a game.

    The balance is horrible. Every patch it gets worse. I recently saw a bunch of old footage from 2016. It was a completely different game.
    What instantly jumped into my eyes was that it looked far creepier and scarier than nowadays.
    The lighting was much better (darker and moodier), the maps were much darker, the grass was much higher, the view distance was low, very blurry in the distance and very creepy, there were far more pallets and open windows. Hopping windows was actually useful and not a free hit for killers, because it wasnt as slow as it is now.

    The lighting was already bad for a long time, but recently they revamped the maps completely and it turned the whole game into a joke, because a lot of maps now are as bright as day and plain as a salt desert. So that killers can see you even better in the now high view distance. But of course they also made totems much harder to find by not only making ridiculous hiding spots, but also by turning them very dark.

    As a honest survivor player (who doesnt cheese in any way) you got f*cked extremely hard in these last years. If you now want to be good at this game you either have to find a good coordinated group or learn to be a toxic sh*t yourself and just loop the killer (which turns this creepy horror game into a clown circus).
    Some killer perks are so ridiculous, that they completely ruined the game and made people act more and more like selfish bastards and force survivors to play a certain and predictable way for killers (and of course more and more overpowered abilities in revamps and new killers to even negate the only options survivors have). They are so powerful that they have become a meta that 90% of killers use. Theres not much diversity in gameplay anymore because of all that.
    And of course survivor perks most of the time got massively nerfed and new perks for them are 95% completely useless. It went that far that the devs openly tolerated exploits that the killers thought would "fix" "overpowered" survivor perks. Like Decisive Strike for example (just got nerfed again, because the killers kept crying). It was even ok to "dribble" the DS survivor to the next hook, making it impossible to use DS - a wasted perk slot. Yet after a patch they made it impossible to do that. Yet their TOS clearly states that exploiting is a banable offense.

    The devs are a reflection of their own playerbase. They act arrogant, insult their own customers live on air and ban people on their forums if they criticize them for their toxic behavior or dare to treat them the way they treat their customers. They even once had a contest among each other on their stream to "not insult customers", which they failed miserably. That should tell you enough.

    Then they finally implemented dedicated servers. That took them almost a year after the promise (which was said to never happen for years before that). And then what we got was even laggier and buggier than their P2P netcode. And its still extremely bad. Sometimes so bad that I just cant believe what just happened, like the killer hitting me from literally 5 meters away and having 5 meter arms swinging through the window I just hopped through, or hitting me through the dropped pallet or teleporting on my side of the pallet, or hitting me with a range weapon even though I am long gone behind a wall.

    Now they have added a new killer which is just ridiculous to look at. Some flashy K-Pop singer with green hair and pink clothes. And a Korean survivor that looks like the most western looking European you can find... Good job! To be honest, he looks far too much like the Joker, which makes me think that they tried to get a deal with Warner Brothers to get the Joker in it, but they said no and so they decided to put their own "Joker" in it. Which failed horribly, because he is just completely ridiculous.

    Oh yeah, they also "improved" the animations and in-game GUI. Nobody asked for it, but they did it anyway and its horrible and nobody likes it, so they tried to fix it, but only a bit. Its still horrible.

    TL;DR:
    The game idea is exceptional, but the devs are the worst Ive ever seen (Ive been playing games for decades) and ruined it with their utter incompetence.    … Expand

    This is the most adictive multiplayer game i've ever played. I can't just have a match pr two, every time i start playing i find myself spending 3-4 hours, switching between killer and survivor. Five years after it's release, the game it still fresh and fun to play.

    I gave this one a try on a free weekend. I was not expecting much, but it failed to meet even the little expectations I have for it. You start the game as the killer or one of the survivors. As the killer, your goal is to hang survivors on the hooks and kill them. As the survivor, you try to fix some machines and escape. It also doesn’t help much that the community is pretty toxic. There are much better multiplayer horror titles out there.

Но вернемся к перкам, например такой перк как " ВИДЕТЬ АУРУ ГЕНЕРАТОРА ЕСЛИ ЕГО РЕМОНТИРУЮТ ДВОЕ ВЫЖИВШИХ И БОЛЕЕ" - ГЕНИАЛЬНО НЕ ПРАВДА ЛИ И ХРЕН ТЫ УЗНАЕШЬ ОБ ЭТОМ ПЕРКЕ ПОКА НЕ ЗАКОНЧИТСЯ МАТЧ И ТЕМ БОЛЕЕ ЕСЛИ ТЫ ТОЛЬКО НАЧАЛ ИГРАТЬ И НЕ ПОЗНАЛ ВСЕГО ГОВНА КОТОРОГО ТУДА НАПИХАЛИ, А ЕГО ТАМ ДО ХЕРА.
    2. Касается того о чем написал человек ниже на мой предыдущий обзор по этой игре МЕХАНИКИ описание которых вы не найдете в игре, кроме не многочисленных основных подсказок во время загрузки, а лазить по гуглу и форумам, что бы понять как играть мне нахрен не уперлось.
    3.Описание перков в игре. НУ ЭТО ПРОСТО ПИ333ДЕЦ! Что вы понимаете под "ПОВЫШАЕТ УМЕРЕННО УДАЧУ" или "НЕМНОГО СГУЩАЕТ ТЕМНЫЙ ТУМАН" может у меня слишком хороший компьютер, но я не видел в игре ни кого тумана, при этом эта херь есть как у выжившего, так и у маньяка. а интрополяция количественной единицы "УМЕРЕННО" или "НЕМНОГО" вообще хер поймешь на сколько.
    4.Маньяки в максимальной прокачке просто имба и вы это не узнаете пока матч не закончится, а выжившие бичи, у которых в арсенале перки на чтение ауры различных вариаций и починка тех же генераторов.
    6.Ну и последнее, эту игру не обошел такой бич как читы и в сочетании с гемплеем, и перками хер когда ты поймешь, читер человек, или у него имбовые перки, так как риплеев нет, наблюдения за маньяком нет, защиты от читов нет.    … Expand

    It is buggy and is not balanced well, but it is fun. Dead by Pashka yet is best asymmetric multiplayer game.

    The game is fun and it makes your heart definitely beat. There are some aspects that I don't like about the game, that's why it's a 8/10.

    - The character leveling system is weird IMO. - Every game is ranked. - You can create a character with 4 different perks from different characters.     The game is just filled to the brim with killers who either camp or tunnel. Both behaviours are just bad and take the whole fun out of the game. As long, as such behaviour does not get punished, the game is not worth to be played.

    Dead By Daylight is not the game for everyone. Although I personally think the game is great. Whether you're trying to survive the killers wraith or simply messing around it's fun either way. The game can get repetitive and I take breaks from it every once in awhile but overall I thinks it's a fun game. The only problem is the player selection system. After one update, I started playing as a 17th rank killer against survivors around 1st-6th rank. And I hated it.     DbD is a amazing game. you can choose game, for example you can play as survivor(your mission is repair all 5 generators and save your teamate and open exit gate and....ESCAPE), or you can play as killer(your mission is hitting and down all 4 survivor and sacrifice it in a hook)

    Addictive aysmetrical game that finally scratched that left 4 dead itch. Very fun playing both sides. Game can be quite grindy when you are new and game is quite buggy at times but very fun cat and mouse gameplay

They have this game on easy mode and they are still crying to mommy dev and begging for survivor nerfs. And they get them. Im done playing survivor. As soon as im bored playing ez killer mode, ill just drop the game, like most people.

    This game could be great, but unfortunately it's reputation is marred by childish mods that are power tripping on the official forums. Unfortunately BHVR has trusted their image to a group of moderators that have no idea of the optics they create by randomly banning people for posting things that are encouraging- even though the frame rates in this game are absolute garbage.

    If you don't act too stupid as a survivor, the killer has 0% chance against 4 good survivors. As soon as you become a killer, the survivors become very exhausting and very provocative. Provoke the killer all game long but don't get along if they lose and spit on you with poison and bile in the endgame chat.
    I no longer remember how many offensive comments I had to delete from my profile.
    In other games you get banned for such nasty behavior, but the devs look away every time, the main thing is that the DLCs and the micro transactions sell well!

    Pros:
    - good addiction factor
    - acceptable co-op game
    - good soundscape
    - Varied killers (i.e., against every killer, you have to do it differently)
    - Killer designs are awesome! (Survivors too, of course)
    - The game is always filled with fresh content (i.e. new killers, maps, survivors etc ...)
    that's it from the good side ...

    Contrasts:
    - Terrible map design
    - From a certain rank, the game is very frustrating for the killer (with me from rank 5)
    - Uninteresting gameplay for survivors (read, the survivors have only one goal and that would be to repair generators)
    - Lap lengths (I had laps that only ran 5 minutes because the repair speed from the generators is just too high.
    - The community (rarely seen such a toxic community)!
    - Matchmaking (after Rankreset you don't dare to play as a killer for 2 weeks, because then smurfs will run around everywhere.)
    - bugs, graphic errors, crashes etc ... etc ... etc ...
    - Perks too strong for survivors! (Of course there are also very strong perks for the killer but one shouldn't forget that it is 1v4!
    - badly balanced (once the survivors have a disadvantage and once the killers sometimes have a disadvantage, but in the end the killer has the most disadvantages, even though he is the power role)!

    DBD is not a bad game, but it is also not a good game. It is more in the middle area. There is no lack of creativity, but competent developers.
    Whoever wants to play the game should do it. You will have fun but for how long?
    Although I gave a thumbs down, I will still recommend the game, the DBD is not a bad game. If the Devs listened to a few experienced players who were playing the game from both sides, DBD would change for the better. But until then, DBD will only be a mediocre product on the market for in between!

As a killer I feel like you have a good chance to “win”(I consider killing at least 2 people good) if you know your characters strengths. Also there are some very OP killers and it seems like the devs only try to make every killer more busted than the last. The ranking system is a joke for multiple reasons but the biggest is farming. Killers control the game so if they wanna farm then everyone is ranking up. The DC temporary ban has given the killer more control and some even take the game hostage by letting the same survivor wiggle off their shoulder and they will just keep downing them...This game used to be very fun but lately it’s a mess. Basically if you want to have fun don’t care about winning, just troll and you’ll have a great time. Also devs have **** on survivors items all the while killer add one have only gotten more busted. I play survivor more bc I like playing with friends. But nowadays we only play to give the killer a hard time not even care about winning. My message to devs is: BALANCE YOUR GAME!     I have all Chars maxed out and was over a very long time Rank 1 (survivor and killer) My hope was with dedicated servers that everything will be fine but in fact its the opposite situation. As survivor you get hits even through you are 5-6 steps away from the killer which is much more worse as it has ever    I have played this Game since release and have multiple k hours spent playing it.

    It's a fun game, but the community can be toxic as times. Developers try to fix the game, which sometimes works out and i respect them for it. I'd recommend this game to play with friends, alone not as much. Around 1k hours.

    This game is sometimes so fun, but other times it can be so frustrating. If the survivors are really good playing as a killer is extremely annoying. On the other hand if one of your teammates is bad he can screw everyone else over. This game is awesome if everyone is similar skill levels. If not it can just be annoying.

    It encapsulates the vibe from 80's horror movies perfectly. The ambient is spooky with very dark tones and splatters of blood everywhere, the audio effects add to this and get your heart racing when you're trying to get away from the killer or hear a scream from across the map.
    Unfortunately this very unique concept was destroyed by technical errors that keep people from fully enjoying    It encapsulates the vibe from 80's horror movies perfectly. The ambient is spooky with very dark tones and splatters of blood everywhere, the audio effects add to this and get your heart racing when you're trying to get away from the killer or hear a scream from across the map.
    Unfortunately this very unique concept was destroyed by technical errors that keep people from fully enjoying the experience and the visual bugs take away from the immersion.

    I think 6 is the most accurate number I could give this game. The game isn't bad, at all, it's actually really addicting and fun. So why not something like an 8-9? Well, there are a few reasons, the first one I wish to speak about is the community. A lot of the Survivor community is very toxic. There are toxic killers out there too, don't get me wrong, but the majority of toxic players areI think 6 is the most accurate number I could give this game. The game isn't bad, at all, it's actually really addicting and fun. So why not something like an 8-9? Well, there are a few reasons, the first one I wish to speak about is the community. A lot of the Survivor community is very toxic. There are toxic killers out there too, don't get me wrong, but the majority of toxic players are survivor mains, or at least act the most toxic when playing as survivor. To running the most toxic perks (DS, Dead Hard, Object of Obsession), to tea-bagging and flashlight click spam, or even straight-up disconnecting, they'll do their best to get under your skin and ruin the game for you. Why do they do this? Well, it's simple, the developers don't read the reports on them, and they don't give players an abandonment penalty for leaving a match, even though the matches are a part of a "ranked" system. Now granted, as of late I've had a lot of pleasant experiences with players, but a lot of toxic players are still out there, and until more aggressive action is taken about them, I must maintain my stance that the DbD Community is overall very toxic.

    Next let's speak about the developers, they could be a lot better at their job. This is the nice way of putting it. The developers actively DON'T focus on what the community needs most, goes out of their way to ignore suggestions and dance around questions and concerns. This is especially apparent from their recent Developer Stream on Twitch (6/18/2020). There were a lot of legitimate concerns about Pyramid Head's perks, and they completely danced around them and said "Oh we buffed them during the Test Server so we shouldn't need to buff them again" even though they are STILL terrible. They also released an atrocious map and have said nothing about fixing or making adjustments to it. The developers from what I've seen ever since the beginning of this game, only really care about selling their DLC and cosmetics, and not about the future and health of their game and community.

    So why the 6? After all of that, surely this game isn't worth your money. Well, it is and it isn't. I do not recommend DbD at full price, or any of its DLC at full price. Get it on sale on Steam, or play it with the Xbox Game Pass, or buy it from a key seller website. DbD has a lot of flaws, bugs, and those things I mentioned above, but the game is FUN. It's fun and addicting, and unfortunately, there aren't a lot of games like it on the market. Playing as a killer and vsing your friends, or just playing by yourself is a lot of fun, and surviving with friends is just as fun if not more. The game is solid for what it is, and it's really addicting and easy to spend a lot of time with it. It has it's problems, sure, but getting it on sale makes you feel a whole lot better about playing it. My only hope is the developers get their **** together and actually fix the issues plaguing their community.    … Expand

Every update Nerfs killers and We still have the Survive WithThis game is survivor sided, have a lot of bugs that basically only affect the killer gameplay, killers powers are TERRIBLE, killers perks are TERRIBLE and if is good its a hex what With other words is terrible too. Every update Nerfs killers and We still have the Survive With Friends issue that literally takes off half of killers perks and removes completely some killers power. Don't Buy it, its a Trap.

Купив эту игру, играя на низких рангах, я играл за выживших, за мана, ничего не предвещало беды, как только я поднялся чуть выше, я не смогЭта игра - сплошное разочарование. Купив эту игру, играя на низких рангах, я играл за выживших, за мана, ничего не предвещало беды, как только я поднялся чуть выше, я не смог устоять от этой игры, как только ты идешь играть за мана на средних - высоких рангах, у тебя начинает гореть 5-я точка. Для начало ты заспавнишь, и стоявших перед тобой сурв немного попресидает, чтобы ты напрягся, не забывая при этом проходить пару кругов на одном месте вместе с тобой, наконец ты дал ему хит, при том что осталось 2 гена, наносишь ему последний удар, поднимаешься и..... Нет, ты не ведёшь его к крюку, либо твое лицо засветит фонарик его тиммейта, либо он заюзает перк "осколок" и убежит на край карты, пока ты будешь оглушен 5 секунд, при таком раскладе ты автоматом проигрываешь. Допустим мы игнорируем мансера и идём по генераторам, но все равно тот мансер даёт о себе знать, безнаказанно чиня генераторы за твоей спиной. При таких действиях очень сложно, но всё-таки возможно выйграть, но это только при условии того, что против тебя будут играть соло игроки. Если же ты играешь против целой команды, у тебя нет и шанса на победу, у КАЖДОГО из тимы есть 4 имба перка, которые позволяют безболезненно принимать на себя удар, бессмертие на какой то промежуток времени, тот самый осколок, который не даст повесить тебе сурва и рывок, с помощью которого ты ещё проходишь пару кругов. Но это ещё не всё, так как они играют в тиме, они будут знать о КАЖДОМ твоём шаге, и ты просто не сможешь ничего сделать, они хилят друг друга за мгновения, могут лечить себя мгновенно с помощью перка, светить тебе в лицо, чтобы ты был оглушен и окончательно пригорел. В конце конечно все сопровождается каплей токсичности. ВСЕ ЭТО НА СРЕДНИХ РАНГАХ, мне страшно представить, что будет дальше. Хах, ты только что узнал что маны бесполезны, да? ТАК купи парочку длс по 180 рублей, чтобы продвинуться чуть дальше и снова сгореть. Многие считают что маны имба, стоя перед крюком, но дело тут в рангах, пока маньяк будет сидеть 2 минуты, до тех пор пока сурва не заберёт сущность, другие игроки уже давно заведут все генераторы и выйграют катку. Игра совершенно несбалансированна, а разработчики положили на нее болт, добавляя скины для фанатов "побегушек", по другому это не назвать. Вместо пряток и интересной игры, образовалась игра "собачка" где собака - это Ман, а те кто кидают мяч - сурвы. Пойдет только для игр с друзьями, не более.… Expand

    Devs don't understand how to balance and don't understand how to address bugs. Game is hardly playable at 4k. For years now the company refused to fix a DPI scaling issue. It makes it very difficult to target items/things in game.

    A depressingly garbage game. Zealots and twitch streamers will swear that it has good features but they're objectively wrong. The game is unfinished, pay-to-win **** and depends wholly on nostalgia for the slasher genre fans to keep it alive. BeHavior is frankly a terrible studio that got lucky with this one. Their past games were failures and their attempts to get away from DBD with gamesA depressingly garbage game.     This game is absolute dog **** i actually made an account just to tell people how annoying this game is. First of all I've seen reviews on here saying that survivors are OP. Thats the dumbest **** ever, Killers are so much better than survivors in this game and it gets even worse when you take the ranking system into account. I could be a rank 18 survivor that's new to the game and a rank 18 killer well completely butt **** me because in reality they're rank 1s that got reset because of the ranking system. Fix the ranking system and re balance the game because for some reason, they decided it was cool to add teleporting into the game, like how to do you expect people to run away when they can just teleport right in front of you, and before some jack ass comes at me telling me to look for the trap, why tf would i be looking at the ground while trying to run away in the first place? Like seriously this game is so bad, and the killers are even worse, "Get gud" like wtf? how am i supposed to get good when i don't even get a chance to play the game? let me learn to play the game against people that are actually in MY skill level for ****s sake.… Expand

    Dead by Daylight is a missed opportunity. Despite an intriguing concept, the final result is flawed by a lot of small problems. You could still enjoy it, but in order to do so you should get over a terrible netcode, a grind-based progression system, and all too random rewards.

    Disastrous scoring system encourages some players to cooperate with the killer instead of running from him and reduces promising gameplay to nonsense (e.g. when the killer picks you up, throws you into a trap, resets it, picks you up, throws you into a trap, resets it, picks you up, throws you into a trap, resets it, picks you up...).
