Arguably the "spiritual successor" to FromSoftware's Armored Core, Daemon x Machina delivers a familiar hyperactive mecha action rush for returning AC players, and is definitely easy to pick up for newcomers. its lackluster story is overshadowed by the plentiful of content this game has including co-op, pvp and etc, as well as its customization features.

Wish it looked better but im in love with the game, it definitely over delivers for an AC game and Its great to be able to use mouse and keyboard so you dont have to contort your hands using a gamepad to be able to move, aim, attack, boost and jump/fly at the same time.

For people who are familiar with AC and are put off by the visuals, this is a good mix of some of the earlier AC games

For people who are familiar with AC and are put off by the visuals, this is a good mix of some of the earlier AC games and AC4, where the presentation and some of the level design and story is very similar to the older games and the faster pace with less restrictive movement is akin to 4, but maybe not as fast as 4a for what its worth.

The character creator is awesome, along with the upgrades effecting the look of your character and unlocking particular abilities, which is all very nice aesthetically and lets you create any stereotypical anime character you can imagine, though im not sold on the restrictive nature of the upgrade system where you will have to chose between a useful bonus to your mech or a nifty ability for your character, I think the two should probably have been separated and then fleshed out at the very least.

This games great and fingers crossed we get more.

The game is great. The game is like AC with added depth in some areas and less in others. It's not Armored Core, so don't expect it to be like that. It has it's similarities for sure, but it's a great game in it's own right.

I am a strict "wait for sale" buyer, and I bought this at full price. I do not regret it.

    for 3hrs gameplay
armored core lite, with anime style
the customisation pretty straightfwd, the leg only humanoid type,
but the port is guuud, 60 fps on medium rig plus you can rebind all key

Ótimo jogo do gênero pena que as pessoas não gostam de jogos de mecha 10/10

While the game is obviously the spiritual successor of Armored Core, DXM could be more enjoyable for those who haven't played AC or just want a good mech themed game. The lack of hardcore gameplay has both pros and cons; it makes the game newcomer-friendly yet also makes it boring for "experienced Ravens". Still an awesome game to pick up.

If you like the trailer, you are almost certainly going to like this game. If you like the concepts, you are almost certainly going to like this game. It knows what it wants to be and it succeeds marvelously at it. And at the end of the day, I like this game, so even with its flaws, I can’t help but feel that it deserves plenty of love for just being dang fun in exactly the way it wants.

Daemon X Machina impresses with its focus on big guns, mecha customization, and wild, anime-style action. But its head-scratching story and lifeless environments prevent it from being an instant classic.

DAEMON X MACHINA might have an overwrought, needlessly complicated plot, but doesn’t that usually go hand-in-hand with giant robot narratives? Whether or not players are interested in the story, there’s a huge amount of great gameplay on offer with dozens of story and side missions and replayable multiplayer content. From any perspective, DXM offers great value and gameplay, making it one of the top mech games available.
