    Very solid game, it combines the village management and roguelite parts of the game really well and I definitely enjoyed the gameplay loop. My main gripe is that the combat started to feel a bit stale after a while, both because of the lack of variety in enemy patterns as well as because the combat itself isn't as tight or satisfying as some similar roguelites e.g. binding of isaac

    Can only be said to be an awkward work. It was too boring to meet the operation and combat, despite its excellent artistic performance.

    Enjoyed this roguelike, the flavor and sim aspects were really fun. Compared to other roguelikes ti falters heavily with its combat, the play pattern and builds are not diverse enough. Beat this in 11 hours playing on PC

    Cult of the Lamb was a game I was really looking forward to after all the great recommendations of the game, but the game ended up falling flat for me. The first two hours of the game just felt like a massive tutorial and then was just on this grind of cycle of beat level do stuff with followers. The combat in the dungeon areas was not super great but not terrible. The rest of the stuff felt tedious of collecting points, doing sermons, talking to followers, and doing their quests. The game just never resonated with me and I really wanted to enjoy it more.… Expand

    A super amazing idea that I feel like could have been executed a tiny bit better. The game still rocks and the vibe is on point but the game can feel repetitive at times and the game is a tiny bit overpriced too. I still really enjoyed it but there are better options for roguelikes

    I did not stick with this game very long. I managed to play the relatively simple dungeon segment and enjoy it, but then I was dumped into the cult management simulator segment. While I thought I would like it, I really just wanted to go back into the dungeons. It felt like the game was withholding itself from me. I'm sure there are people that prefer the sim element and felt similarlyI did not stick with this game very long.     Even the basic balanced alternation between boss slaying expeditions and tending your sheep will provide hours of fun, maybe even dozens of hours. And there are even more things to do in the game, including mini-games like fishing or playing backgammon. [Issue#321]

    While it lasted, Cult of the Lamb was a darkly enlightening experience that wholly delivers on the premise of its cutesy horror genre-mash-up. For the many who have been eagerly anticipating its release, that faith has been rewarded.
