    For a mish-mash of genres, Cult of the Lamb does an excellent job of making both parts feel significant and dependent on each other. It's gorgeous, rewarding and made me laugh throughout. As your cult progresses and you move on from cleaning up everyone's poop, you will see your followers flourish. Designing and maintaining your base is excellent and I enjoyed the rogue-lite runs that can be completed in easily in under 15 minutes. Highly recommended, cult-based, rogue-lite shenanigans.

    Unless you’re a well-meaning-yet-misguided parent from the 80s who magically found themselves transported to the year 2022 (in which case there are other things I would be worrying about), you really have zero reason not to play this game. Cult of the Lamb is the evil-worshipping, cult-building, god-slaying video game with a perfect creepy-cute aesthetic that I never knew that I wanted—and I’m so incredibly glad that it exists.

    Cult of the Lamb is perfect example of an innovative indie that proclaims to be one genre, but assumes multiple identities and delivers. The game’s charming yet disturbing theme lends you freedom to play as you want, and have your actions make sense on the lore-front. Yes, this roguelite is most likely the easiest and most accessible compared to its competitors, but that accessibility comes at a cost of some gameplay, like combat, lacking depth and complexity for genre veterans. Knowing all of this, should you sacrifice your time to the altar of The One Who Waits? To this, we say yes.

    Cult of the Lamb is a game that is much more than the sum of its parts. Taken on their own neither the combat nor the cult management would be strong enough to carry the title, but together they form a compelling whole that's then further enhanced by the delightful art style and pervasive sinister tone. It's evil and wonderful and more than a little unhinged. It's also one of the most impressive games of the year.

    Dividing its time beautifully between rouge-like dungeon crawler and cult management simulator, Cult of the lamb is everything you would want and need from the mix of genres. A fantastic soundtrack and incredibly moreish gameplay, this is a big recommendation for anyone who is in awe of the vibrantly cute aesthetic it presents. While it’s currently harrowed by some glitches preventing certain aspects of gameplay from shining, once these are ironed out this could easily be ‘Game of the Year’ material.

    You will never look at sheep the same way again after playing Cult of the Lamb. It’s a fun, cute roguelite mixed with taking care of your own twisted animal community. And it’s very well done.

I myself have put hours into this game and luckily have not experienced any of these. I have found the game visually great with a fun art style and music I am personally enjoying. The rouge like elements are fun but a larger weapon verity wouldn't hurt but I don't feel it holds it back either. But for me the best part and most fun to be had is interacting and building your cut, there is a lot of laughs and fun to be had in that part of the game.… Expand

You yourself were chosen to undergo this task, but at what cost? Your cult involves some work, but you'll be nicely rewarded if you manage to make your followers give you blind dedication. In order to do that you need to gather resources, go on expeditions and do some side quests for your followers. You'll also be visited by some questionable types with an agenda of their own. All this while you clean up poop from the cult grounds to prevent your flock getting sick. An adorable and extremely addictive game. Recommended!… Expand

    El gameplay no es terrible pero tampoco suficientemente pulido como para ser disfrutable ni de lejos; el abanico de movimientos es más queEl gameplay no es terrible pero tampoco suficientemente pulido como para ser disfrutable ni de lejos; el abanico de movimientos es más que reducido, un solo movimiento por arma, habiendo solo 5 armas, puro spamear X, y un abanico de hechizos que acaba reducido a 3 porque el resto no sirven para nada. Aburrido, monótono, sin nada que ofrecer a nivel jugable, y no ayuda que las salas que lo hacen del género rogue tengan cero variedad y cero personalidad; a nivel de rogue es el peor trabajo que he visto en mi vida, como si no pretendiese ser rogue realmente o lo hubiesen hecho en 3 dias, apostaría que eso es lo que sucedió, un cambio de rumbo para aprobechar la popularidad del genero, pero lo cierto es que funcionaría mil veces mejor como juego lineal porque lo que han hecho a nivel de rogue es ridículo.

    La mecánica de la secta está bien, es entretenida y original, pero en 6 horas lo tendrás todo al maximo y no quedará nada por hacer. El diseño de bosses es interesante, nada notable pero hace más ligero el sufrimiento que es todo lo demás. Por último a nivel de decisión estética y enfoque está claro que destaca y es bueno, el de la dirección artística es el único que realmente puso esfuerzo en este proyecto, una lastima que eso sea solo un reclamo: Este juego fue hecho para ser vendido por su aspecto visual y fingiendo ser un rogue que no es.

    Tremenda maniobra de marketing, un juego que no llega a mediocre hecho con la única intención de virilizarse por su estética, y lo peor es que les ha funcionado.    … Expand
